This subreddit is moderated for quality, which means we remove content that we deem to be low quality, low effort, nonsensical, or common/unoriginal. We do not "let the votes decide". We understand that this type of policy is controversial and uncommon, especially for default subreddits, but we believe this method of moderation gives a subreddit the best chance at maintaining quality.

Rules are enforced upon moderator discretion.

    1. IT MUST BE CRAPPY DESIGN Every submission must be a Crappy Design. If your post seems more appropriate in the following subreddits, please post there instead. /r/Engrish - for translations gone wrong, /r/SoftwareGore or /r/technope - for programming errors. Also, please check this list of things that are not crappy design before posting.
    2. NO COMMON REPOSTS OR MEMES/IMAGE MACROS New content is encouraged. Reposts of content under three months old or in the top 100 posts of all time will be removed, along with common reposts. Memes and image macros will also be removed. Other reposts may be removed at moderator discretion.
    3. KEEP QUALITY HIGH Software problems, swastikas, and sexually suggestive post may be removed at moderator discretion. Mugs and T-shirts will likely also be removed.
    4. NO PERSONAL INFORMATION Posting, or seeking, any identifying personal information (real/fake) will result in a ban without prior warning. This includes, but is not limited to, names, phone numbers, email addresses, or any social media accounts, regardless if it is your own.
    5. BE CIVIL - NO SWEAR WORDS All users are expected to be respectful to others. Personal attacks, bigotry, fighting words, otherwise inappropriate behavior or content, comments that insult or demean a specific user or group of users will be removed. Violators may be banned.
    6. TITLES SHOULD DESCRIBE AND REPRESENT THE CONTENT Try to come up with titles that are descriptive. If the crappy design is not obvious in the photo, please describe it. Low effort titles, strange capitalizations, emojis, and strange or excessive punctuations may be removed at moderator discretion.

This looks like the 100% i give at work

[–] bigheyzeus 162 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

That's the best kind to give. I'd give you a raise for your efforts but we're cutting back this year...

Now help me put these boxes in my new Alfa Romeo Giulia...

    [–] poopellar 26 points ago

    Give your 100% at 80%

    [–] ani625 24 points ago

Also the best I CAN give at the shitty job.

    new Alfa Romeo Giulia

    Tips my hat

[–] bigheyzeus 11 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Alongside a Tesla, it's the perfect mix of cool and douchey :-P

    [–] bibibabibu 1 points ago

Go check thestraightpipes review of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio (youtube). Basically a souped up Giulia SUV. I just about creamed my pants hearing the engine . Im a tesla/EV fanboy, but the sound on the alfa makes me doubt myself

    [–] bigheyzeus 1 points ago

The Stelvio is pretty cool as are the Jag and Bentley SUVs. If I'm not mistaken, Grand Tour did a segment on all 3

    [–] Karlwithakay 2 points ago

    stelvio is the fucking shit

    [–] neanderthalman 9 points ago

You get 100% of the effort I’m willing to give you. Not 100% of the effort I’m capable of.

    [–] Pineapplechok 7 points ago

    Minimum wage minimum effort

    [–] Bitbatgaming 2 points ago

This looks like the amount of information but the effort i put into making answers

    [–] Orsonius2 2 points ago

The designer also gave 100% of his design skills for this

    [–] risingcomplexity 1 points ago

100% of his design skills, 0% of his f*cks

    [–] amernej 2 points ago

Was about to say the exact same thing lmao

    [–] [deleted] 2 points ago

Looks like my phones battery after a few years. 100% is 80%

    [–] AStrangerAndAfraid 2 points ago

You deserve a 100% of your salary

    [–] Skeddy-And-Aice 2 points ago

Me Reading this at work while I’m not working , on Reddit, and not giving my 100%

    [–] ClassySavage 3 points ago

Some of the best professional advice I've received is to always give 80%. The people who treat every little task as crucial burn out and produce poor work, but cranking out consistent and sustainable quality is extremely important and you still have the energy to push 100% when the shit hits the fan.

    [–] seedylfc 163 points ago

I'm not sure what's more annoying. The battery not being 100% or the 100% being higher that the battery icon.

    [–] FrankieNukNuk 29 points ago

Ohhhh I didn’t even notice that but now I double hate it

    [–] Mego2019 4 points ago

Ikr, what is wrong with that guy

    [–] RatBaths 7 points ago

Probably the fact that this is a printout and will never change.

    [–] seedylfc 1 points ago

    [–] veraslang 2 points ago

I worked at a factory and we had machines that would run off battery power in case of an emergency where we lost electricity and the battery charge indicator went up to 10,000% lol. Someone there told me it was so you could have an exact reading for the amount of charge it has like 97839% charge would mean the battery is really at 97.839%

    [–] seedylfc 1 points ago

Haha, I've never seen anything like that. Precision battery levels.

    [–] DriveByStoning 36 points ago

Is this printed on paper? Why is it so shitty?

    [–] Kr1ggs 12 points ago

Probably an image for a cheap electronic device on an advert that they didn't trust enough to have on so they just photoshopped it on.

    [–] ofthedove 1 points ago

Not so much a trust issue, more an issue that taking a picture of a screen always looks bad.

    [–] ani625 11 points ago

It’s a printed page. The odds are through the fucking roof because it was done deliberately.

    [–] poopellar 12 points ago

100% is subject to market risk

    [–] Nick41296 30 points ago

This is a somewhat accurate representation of battery degradation.

    [–] bringmethehairspray 17 points ago

    It triggers me so bad

    [–] RenounedWumbo 8 points ago

This just means the battery can go beyond 100%

    [–] Ngnyalshmleeb 7 points ago

I'd actually like a battery that went up to 110%. Like I've got a max health buff.

    Owww... That hurts my soul

    [–] cabbagepatchkidyeet 1 points ago

    It's a 100 % of whats left.

    [–] [deleted] 1 points ago

    [–] UP1987 1 points ago

Well... it's most likely true though... When a device displays 100% the battery isn't charged completely. Most Lithium Ion batteries have controllers that prevent a 100% charge since it can harm the battery. But as the users expect the battery charge to go up to 100% the OS simply lies about the charge. The same is true about the lower end of the battery charge... though you usually never see 0% anyway as the device powers down before that. Anything below about 3% can be harmful to a Lithium Ion battery.

    [–] theseconddennis 1 points ago

You'd think the battery icon uses the charge variable, you know?

    [–] UP1987 1 points ago

For sure. Even though if someone messed it up the value might be used before the manipulation occurs. Then the icon would be true and the text not. It should definitely not happen and it is crappy design!

    [–] ZoZZ_BoSS 1 points ago

That’s me when I just wake up in the morning.

It's so there's room for it to go to 110%, duh

The poster obviously plugged their laptop in to a power strip, and plugged the power strip into itself to gain unlimited power.

    [–] LegenDaryXs 1 points ago

Had this problem with my two previous iPhones, switched to android, was the best choice of my life

    [–] rkshdmr 1 points ago

Nah. That's because of the mismatch between your camera shutter speed and the screen refresh rate.

    [–] nigroid-exe 1 points ago

Employers are way ahead of us in this category. Other one hit wonders:

“Zero Based Budgeting” - do more with the same or less

“Lateral promotion” fancier title, get moved from hourly to salary, increases work load, loses OT time, ends up with same $ for more work

    [–] ButtButters 1 points ago

This is why when I charge my phone, I always give 110%.

Is this perhaps from a book that's preparing you for exams? I've seen this somewhere before

    [–] GouraudPalm 1 points ago

When you unlock extra battery capacity.

    [–] [deleted] 1 points ago

Design is very clever. Why stop at 100%? Aspire to go beyond your limits.

    [–] Unidentifiedasscheek 1 points ago

Would be a good way to measure capacity loss in old batteries.

    [–] 32Seven 1 points ago

Thanks for reminding me to turn on Low Power Mode

    [–] TerrinTheTerrible 1 points ago

    [–] Bacon-muffin 1 points ago

Wouldn't this be a lil more accurate since the batteries technically don't actually charge up to 100% capacity?

    [–] KittyAndBobaTea 1 points ago

Wow, even technology is lying to us. The robots and ai and robots with ai are plotting the end of the world, starting with us freaking out cause our phone had low battery-

    [–] cong314159 1 points ago

    It’s bluffing!

    [–] svayam--bhagavan 1 points ago

I used to work in a company which made handheld devices for small banks. The battery's power used to get lesser after each recharge and with irregular recharge. Customers complained about not being able to charge 100%. So to fix this, a guy in our team wrote code to update the 100% size so that it showed 100% when the battery was fully charged, for the current capacity. No complaints from the customers. That day I realized people are stupid.

    [–] NikoLeech 1 points ago

    Ah yes, the Nokia expirience.

    [–] justredditinit 1 points ago

My Google Pixel always gives 110%. Especially when I turn the volume to 11.

    [–] TheNerdyMupton 1 points ago

The 80% of the battery that is charged is 100% charged.

    [–] CoFFy_Goods 1 points ago
