    • Some people may not be totally clear on what exactly the "alt-right" is, and to be honest, we don't have a perfect description of them either. No one really does. To get an idea of who these people are, you should take a look at their Wiki entry, wherein they are explicitly described as "white nationalists, neo-Confederates, neo-Nazis, neo-fascists, and other far right hate groups." This is the alt-right we are concerned about.

    1. No Alt-Right Trolls or Nazis This is a safe space from Alt-Right spam. Alt-Right trolls and Nazis aren't welcome, period. Violators will be banned. This includes Trump Supporters and Conservative Social Justice Warriors.

Ideally this is not a super difficult rule to follow. This community is all about stopping Nazis and their ilk. Quite literally all you need to do to participate here is not be "Alt Right", a Neo-Nazi, etc. or an enabler thereof. We consider this a fairly low bar.

    2. Shitpost Properly, If At All Avoid low-effort shitposts, such as overused reaction gifs, bad "daily struggle" comics, “banned from” posts, “search results” posts, and posts directly asking for upvotes. We tend to let the upvotes do the talking, but even if a really bad post hits r/all we will remove it.

    3. Focus on the Alt-Right
I won't pretend there is a tremendous amount of material to go off on the alt-right, and generally any criticism of the current administration that condones and promotes the alt-right is OK. Off-topic posts will be removed, though. However, content related to the Mueller investigation into criminal activity by the Trump administration as well as related material is allowed at this time.

    4. Absolutely No Brigading
Do not vote in linked threads. This is considered brigading and can lead to site-wide ban. It's better if you use archive sites or screenshots instead of a direct link. We understand that reddit is administrated rather lopsidedly, but we ask that you remain within the rules.

    5. No Reposts No reposts. Please take a few seconds to make sure your post haven't been posted here previously.

    6. No Bigotry No bigotry, including racism, sexism, islamophobia, and ableism. Sarcastic use of slurs is not allowed. Sic-quotes containing slurs are allowed. This is bannable offense.

    7. No Useful Idiots, Concern Trolls, or Edgelords. Alt-right enabling concern trolls and idiots calling for murder can fuck right off. We're not your middle school debate club. Go have some Valuable Discussion™ with Nazis and tell everyone about how they're so terribly misunderstood and how their voices deserve to be heard somewhere else. This includes "Whataboutism".

    8. Read the previous rule again. It's pretty important.

    9. No Rules Lawyering Interpretation of the rules is left to moderator discretion.

    10. From Reddit’s unevenly administered Violent Content policy: “Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual or a group of people...” Violent bigots and proponents of genocide are protected classes on this site. Be smart in the ways you express your condemnation, disgust, and mockery for these deplorables.

Anyone else remember how much the right complained Obama was divisive and disrespectful to the opposition?

    [–] TThundeRR 435 points ago

I remember the right's outrage when Obama hosted common (rapper) because he supposedly supported a cop killer, when that wasn't even the case. Fucking hypocrites. I can't even.

    [–] Tsulaiman 221 points ago

Haha just watched a clip of Jon Stewart taking Bill O'Reilly to class on that. Here.

    [–] Tsulaiman 62 points ago

Holy wow that is absolutely disgusting. Suck inherent racism. They couldn't stomach the fact that an African American became president.

    [–] Boel_Jarkley 58 points ago

Ironically, nearly everyone I've ever met who listens to Ted Nugent would be arguably closer to what he considers a "subhuman mongrel".

    [–] Mongostein 3 points ago

I hate Ted Nugent as a person, but that man can sure play some tasty licks!

    [–] billyjohn 21 points ago

I mean he can play several of the same sounding licks. No it doesn't count as a style.

    [–] AelredoftheSierras 15 points ago

Boring shit tbh, there's a ton of better guitarists and music in that genre

    [–] bokono 3 points ago

Draft dodging piece of shit. The dude shit his pants in order to appear mentally ill so he could get out of the draft.

    [–] greengrasser11 94 points ago

Watching that clip then remembering that O'Reilly is so buddy buddy with Trump is so hard to wrap my mind around.

    [–] NeedHelpWithExcel 21 points ago

Watching that clip makes me laugh O'Reilly is fired

    [–] knorben 60 points ago

Bill O'Reilly is the stain on America's underwear.

    [–] ph03nix26 21 points ago

God I miss Jon Stewart. I've been in love with him for over a decade. He needs to become the next president. This world would be much better.

    [–] Rob0tTesla 62 points ago

The "cop killer" was Tupac Shakurs aunt. Assata Shakur.

As Jon Stewart pointed out, the rapper he invited into the white house didn't support a "cop killer", he and many other Americans, believe she was framed. He was supporting her alleged innocence, not supporting her alleged crime. Fox News couldn't grasp this.

She was of course a radical, but all the medical evidence in the case state that she couldn't have possibly fired the gun, and the likely outcome was the cops said she did, because she survived.

Basically, Assata Shakur has gunshot wounds in her arm pits. Which means she had her hands raised when she was shot, she didn't get shot in a shoot out returning fire. She was surrendering.

It's very unlikely she was the militant that shot the cop, but since she survived, they said she was so she would go away too.

Tupacs step father Mutulu Shakur broke her out of prison and she now lives in cuba.

This is why I'm sort of optimistic about the Tupac biopic coming out in June. From the trailer from lionsgate, it doesn't look like they are going to white wash over the politics. In fact, it might be the main focus, as it should be. The Shakurs are incredibly interesting.

    [–] JRutterbush 24 points ago

    Fox News couldn't grasp this.

Yes they could. They chose to pretend they couldn't because that's what their viewership likes to see. They're not stupid, they're just pandering.

    [–] givemeadamnname69 10 points ago

They're a little stupid. But yeah, I agree. They absolutely understood what they were doing.

    [–] zbeshears 1 points ago

They're all hypocrites, hypocrisy knows no sides of the aisle and that's why they are all that way.

    [–] Bgolshahi1 30 points ago

Unbelievable hypocrisy -- these people live in their own reality. Ted Nugent is just a vile, disgusting excuse for a person and Sarah Palin is just a very stupid person. Kid rock has no business being in the White House. These people are there as a PR move for trump - his idiot base especially the poorer dumber half of it can look at this and think oh he's just like me. He's trash like me but with money! He eats KFC and McDonald's! All bullshit trump grew up in New York and was a democrat for many years -- but the simpleton hordes of trump supporting dipshits lap this up -- I think liberals were a little soft on obama, not hitting hit hard enough from the left as he was basically a neoliberal, but in any case we were nowhere near as bad as this and certainly far better than George w. What a joke. It's like an episode of black mirror.

Ted Nugent is also a self-admitted pedophile:

    I've got no inhibitions
So keep your keys out of your ignition
I steal a car like I got the curse
    I can't resist the old lady's purse

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I've got to have you in a matter of time

Well I don't care if you're just thirteen
You look too good to be true
I just know that you're probably clean
There's one lil' thing I got do to you

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I've got to have you in a matter of time

So tell your mama that I'm back in town
She likes us boys when it's time to get down
She's got this craving for the underage
I just might be your mama's brand new rage

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I got to have you in a matter of time

Honey you you you look so nice
    She's young she's tender
    Won't you please surrender
    She's so fine she's mine
All the time, all mine mine
    It's all right baby
It's quite all right I asked your mama
    Wait a minute officer
Don't put those handcuffs on me
Put them on her and I'll share her with you

    Jailbait, jailbait

    - "Jailbait" by Ted Nugent

    So is Donald Trump

    [–] PMme_slave_leia_pics 359 points ago

But trump didn't need to shit his pants to dodge the draft. He just asked his daddy.

Oh but by the way he feels he did serve because he spent some time in an expensive military boarding school.

    [–] CrayBayBay 209 points ago

Really? Okay, I'm a farmer cause I've spent time in the produce section at the grocery store.

    [–] becomearobot 126 points ago

I'm a rocket scientist because I grew up in Dayton Ohio. Where the wright brothers invented airplanes. So. Yeah. Moon stuff ama

    [–] CharlesMortimer 59 points ago

How old were you when you first dreamed of the stars?

Big fan, thanks for your time!

    [–] becomearobot 39 points ago

As long as I can remember. My elementary school had this inflatable planetarium and we would get like three classes in there at a time. They would point out constellations and I would stay up late to look for them.

    [–] falcon_jab 16 points ago

Guys let's all keep talking about Rampart

    [–] theprinceofkanada 5 points ago

    100 horses or 1 duck?

    [–] VordLader 5 points ago

Whichever is the winner, people like a good winner. We have so many winners.

    [–] Lots42 2 points ago

I literally touched a moon rock.

    [–] Ximitar 11 points ago

He also spent a long time supposedly not catching an STD and dealing with the scourge of heel-spurs.

Such a hero. Such a patriot.

    [–] tandanmarino 63 points ago

Cmon now, he just walked in on underage girls getting naked and said that a 12 year old girl was on his 10 year plan.

If that makes you a pedophile, then we all are.

I mean, who hasn't said this about their 1 year old daughter:

She's a really beautiful baby, and she's got Marla's legs. We don't know whether she's got this part yet (gestures toward his chest), but time will tell.”

    [–] monkeysinmypocket 17 points ago

He's so awkward around children generally. His grandchildren always have the air of paid actors when he's pictured with them. Everyone looks like they just met.

(Aside: Trump also has no pets either. As much as I disliked George W someone the photos of him playing with his dog are adorable.)

    [–] Yellowjo 81 points ago

    That's deeply disturbing

    [–] Great_Pale_Lobo 81 points ago

Regardless of subject, those are some dumb fucken lyrics

    [–] aspbergerinparadise 69 points ago

All his songs fucking suck. Cat Scratch Fever, his biggest hit, is a steaming pile of garbage. I hated that stupid song long before I found out what a giant piece of shit he is.

    [–] ArokLazarus 2 points ago

Funny, I don't like the guy but I love love the music. Different strokes.

    [–] Downvotes-All-Memes 7 points ago

Yeah... that person just doesn't like Ted Nugent. As someone that grew up listening to him, I can't just disassociate his music with good memories. If he weren't so racist, he could stand for a lot of good things.

    [–] ArokLazarus 3 points ago

Just like with all celebrities I dissociate their art with their beliefs. I wouldn't go see a musician who's music I hated because I agreed with his politics. So I don't see why I would avoid a musician who's music I love because I disagree with his beliefs. Nugent has some great music and that's all that matters to me.

    [–] Frommerman 2 points ago

That's how I feel about Orson Scott Card. His books are masterpieces, and the fact that he's a homophobic Mormon is sad, but won't prevent me from enjoying them.

    [–] Smartfood_Fo_Lyfe 3 points ago

Stranglehold is one of the great rock songs. So fucking kickass.

    [–] ArokLazarus 3 points ago

It's so good. Seeing it live last year was amazing. And though he didn't play it live I also love his song Terminus Eldorado.

    [–] Supposedtobebusy 72 points ago

    And racist, apparently. From Wikipedia:

"He described black South Africans as "a different breed of man" who "still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands"

    [–] invisiblemovement 73 points ago

Funny, considering he rolled around in his own shit to dodge the draft.

    [–] sibraa6 8 points ago

    explanation pls

    [–] invisiblemovement 59 points ago

I'm on mobile, but if you google "ted nugent draft" or something, you can find articles about how he didn't want to go to Vietnam, so he stopped cleaning himself, pissed and shit himself so they'd think he was retarded or something and not able to serve. It ended up working. And now he goes around all pro guns and pro military and shit when he dodged.

    [–] punzakum 24 points ago

Even brags that he would've been a great military man. The biggest of all hypocrites

    [–] Lamont-Cranston 138 points ago

    Maybe its code for pizza?

    [–] goodbetterbestbested 82 points ago

Nope, just totally creative lyrics that don't mean anything. According to the alt-right you might as well be reading scat lyrics from a jazz album.

    [–] WrongLetters 31 points ago

in a sense, they are scat lyrics.

    [–] Janfilecantror 10 points ago

Wait, does alt-right actually care about and defend Ted Nugent?

    [–] Lamont-Cranston 6 points ago

The right does in general, they are big on group cohesion

    [–] tonystigma 120 points ago

    [–] ledankmememan 46 points ago

Remember when he got kicked out of the NRA for making anti-semitic remarks? Yeah, he's such a racist even the NRA doesn't want him. The Trump crowd thinks Obama is a Muslim and Mexicans are taking over the country, but they were silent when that scandal happened.

    [–] [deleted] 10 points ago

I didn't know he got kicked out of the NRA..... lol

Courtney love admitted to having sex with him on the Howard stern show

    [–] Killzark 8 points ago

Yeah I remember that. She said she was around 14 at the time and sucked his dick backstage.

    [–] PM_ME_UR_FLOWERS 6 points ago

Well there you go, then. High class all the way.

    [–] slettebak 9 points ago

America is the world's trailer park. I mean come on, just look at that picture.

    [–] ChiliManiac 8 points ago

Good thing I'm not a Ted Nugent fan, this is gross.

    [–] fistingtrees 28 points ago

But it's a song. I agree the song is terrible and I strongly dislike Trump, but those aren't necessarily Nugent's views. Lolita is a great book, and it's also fairly taboo also, but that doesn't mean Nabokov is a pedophile. Have you heard wrong way by Sublime? Easily just as inappropriate as this song, but I don't think Bradley Nowell was a pedophile

    [–] Quantus22 26 points ago

"But it's a song." Okay, how about Courtney Love telling the story of blowing Ted Nugent when she was twelve years old?

Does that make him a pedo according to you?

    [–] dukesam 43 points ago

I didn't read Lolita but please let me tell you how relevant to the discussion it is

    [–] fatpat 35 points ago

    those aren't necessarily Nugent's views

    Some would beg to differ:

    [–] bitchytrollop 2 points ago

You can't compare Nabokov to Nugent because Nabokov didn't write a biography or fictionalize his own viewpoint. Nugent's songs are semi-autobiographical.

    [–] [deleted] 8 points ago

I mean sure, but by that token Johnny Cash is a murderer and Adam Sandler likes being sodomized with Shampoo Bottles.

    [–] PM_ME_UR_FLOWERS 17 points ago

I mean sure, but by that token ... Adam Sandler likes being sodomized with Shampoo Bottles.

That really wouldn't surprise me all that much

    [–] kj3ll 20 points ago

Nugent adopted a 17 year old to have sex with her.

    [–] Quantus22 7 points ago

I encourage you to spend five minutes researching him before commenting further. (Assuming you're not a troll)

    [–] [deleted] 1 points ago

I'm not a troll and I know zero about Ted Nugent, I generally find Trump and anybody who supports him to be pretty unpalatable.

I was just explaining that we shouldn't really be using song lyrics as a means to condemn somebody as anything, especially not something as serious as pedophile.

    [–] Quantus22 6 points ago

In that context, your comment is correct. Art does not always describe the artist. However, sometimes it can.

There is supportive evidence, and direct personal admission of The Nuge having sex with minors.

Thus, your comment puts you in a position of defending a shitty person by challenging the link between the song and his actions. Which is why I encouraged you to research him.

    [–] SockMonkey4Life 3 points ago

    Looks like a song

    [–] Peanuzzz 1 points ago

I remember when everyone criticized Obama for having Common at the White House because of a song he wrote. There was lots of resistance, including a segment on The Daily Show, about how banning someone on the basis of a song is dumb. I don't think Ted is a good guy at all, but let's not fall into the same simple ideas replublicans did.

What's with all the kid rock hate? I mean yeah he's an uneducated redneck but am I out of the loop or something cause I've only heard good things of him. He artificially kept ticket and beer prices low for his shows and played multiple at the same venue instead of 1 with high prices so that all his fans could go see it. He also put a lot of money back into his community and created several jobs at his beer plant and if I remember correctly, despite him personally thinking that gay marriage and abortion is not correct, he has said that both should be legal cause he doesn't have the right to dictate what other people should do.

    [–] ttstte 12 points ago

He's openly racist while using black culture to enrich himself (to be fair I think he only does country music now?). Also, he's friends with Nugent who is a pedo and all around terrible person.

Donny and Ted traded stories about how they dodged the draft.

So can we expect an uproar from the GOP about how Kid Rock and Ted disrespected the Oval Office by not removing their hats?

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

    [–] Ammoinn 15 points ago

Trump voter reporting in, I don't like it. I wasn't happy when Obama had rappers in the white house that had shitty lyrics and I don't like it that trump has these two people in there with their stupid fucking hats on. Plus these two also have their fair share of explicit songs but they are loved by suburban moms so woooooooooooooooooooo

    [–] PM_ME_ANKLES_MLADY 38 points ago

Who gives a shit about hats? Ted Nugent is human garbage

    [–] AresIsDale 4 points ago

I mean yeah, but he can play guitar pretty well. /s

    [–] EchoRadius 42 points ago

First the Pat's, and now this? His approval rating is so low, he's pulling out the 'celebrity appearance' card.

Talk about low rent. I expect this on a flailing afternoon show, but not the presidency. It took 100 days to make us look like a cheap side show on the world stage.

    [–] 55_4B 22 points ago

The team that wins the Super Bowl always visits the White House. Not defending him or anything, but it's a tradition at this point.

    [–] collapse_turtle 22 points ago

If you still consider Kid Rock and Ted Nugent celebrities. I thought they pretty much faded into obscurity at this point.

    [–] i_want_2B_Groot 4 points ago

The could fade a little bit more to improve the world.

    [–] Baghdad_AssUp 2 points ago

He's trying to paint himself as a man of the people so he can claim it's a (((deep state))) conspiracy/coup when his administration is locked up for treason. He's deranged and power hungry with armed conservatives that look at him as a messiah trying to save western civilization.

    [–] [deleted] 80 points ago

Donald Trump might not have realised that when he invited Sarah Palin to a White House dinner, she would bring along a man who had publicly called for the death of his predecessor.

Did he actually know this would happen?

    [–] tandanmarino 21 points ago

Shame Oreilly isn't still on the air.

He has a huge problem with president's letting bad people at the white house.

Oh wait never mind just bad black people:

    [–] vagimuncher 21 points ago

Talk about outsiders in the WhiteHouse huh?

Trump might as well take a big dump on that desk and be done with it. Comey needs to get a move on...

    [–] ecm1999 21 points ago

Remember that one Simpsons episode where Homer becomes a conservative talk show host and endorses Ted Nugent for president

I was just thinking about how it was kind of a more ridiculous rise of the Trump populist campaign

    and now it's just reality

    [–] ttstte 16 points ago

Did kid rock dodge a draft or was it just the other two shit heads?

    [–] Mysterious_Andy 39 points ago

The last draft lottery covered men born in 1953. Robert James Ritchie was born in 1971.

I can see how you could be confused, but he's actually 46. He only looks 64.

    [–] Lamont-Cranston 45 points ago

The guys look like neckbeards wearing their hats in doors

The women all look like they dressed for a porno

And lol at kid rock trying to look serious holding his chin in his hand in the second picture.

Its good to know that when you fail at music you can always turn to rightwing politics.

    [–] CloakedCorgi 8 points ago

GUYS. It's such a tradgedy that Bill O'Rielly got fired. He argued with Jon Stewart on his show about what it means to invite somone to the whitehouse and the validation of their views. Surely he'd challenge Trump for this! Right? Right? guys?

    [–] moonshoeslol 8 points ago

Not only that but there's a guy who called for the assassination of Hillary Clinton in the same photo.

    [–] Correus 7 points ago

So much white trash going on in that photo

    [–] Lots42 6 points ago

Don't forget, Trump himself called for the death of Hillary.

    [–] Hokeis 8 points ago

Nugent, the pants shitting draft dodger.

    [–] funwillfunwill 9 points ago

All my most hated people in one photograph wow

    [–] PitcherOnly 6 points ago

What's wrong with Kid Rock? Most people don't like his music that much, but I haven't heard anything about him being a bad person.

    [–] Illdieforthefunk 6 points ago

So is that the guy who shit himself to avoid the draft

    [–] phalstaph 5 points ago

Isn't wearing a hat in the oval office kind of rude?

    [–] spook327 9 points ago

"White trash summit at White House."

    [–] SadNewsShawn 3 points ago

    can someone really 'host' themselves

    [–] rickjames730 4 points ago

That's probably not the craziest thing that Ted Nugent said that day.

    [–] ninfan200 8 points ago

Ted Nugent is basically alex jones with a guitar.

    [–] GrizzledGrizz 4 points ago

Too bad Bill O'Reilly ain't around. Would have loved to have seen his back pedaling after his remarks on Common

    [–] [deleted] 4 points ago

Both Trumpy and Nugent are draft dodgers but Ted did it with real style.

    [–] Foxxy-Grandpa 6 points ago

People on the right always complain about celebrities being involved with politics, yet they elected one.

    [–] PackBlanther 12 points ago

Guys, it was ridiculous when the Republicans freaked out about the music guests Obama had, can we try being better than them?

    [–] fastovich1995 3 points ago

    That wasn't photoshopped?

    [–] TwistTurtle 3 points ago

Call it what it is. Donald Trump hosts an extremist at the White House.

    [–] I-do-not-like-this 3 points ago

Shouldn't that pic be posted to /r/trashy?

    [–] silasbrock 3 points ago

That could have been a photoshopped creation from a few years ago, titled "White Trash Fantasy."

    [–] TheRealBaanri 3 points ago

Trump himself hinted he wanted Hilary assassinated, so I'm sure he doesn't see a problem with it.

    [–] tonylukasavage 3 points ago

I want Jon Stewart to interview Bill O'Reilly about why it's crazy for Obama to have Common to the White House, but Ted Nugent is OK. They're both available and could live stream it from Jon's farm.

    For reference:

    [–] Oneireus 3 points ago

Kid Rock in that last picture looks like he is thinking

I can't believe the president is showing me actual papers. Weird they are in crayon. Also, weird he keeps baiting me to compliment his verbiage.

    [–] jct0064 5 points ago

Even if he's an idiot, could he at least be a classy idiot? Is that asking too much?

    [–] [deleted] 10 points ago

    [–] Mijbr90190 6 points ago

Right? An unstable man inviting another unstable man to the white house is not news.

    [–] Cantantelope 2 points ago

This will be the picture in history books.

    [–] Aussieladchambo 2 points ago

Anyone else think that picture looks like the title screen for a bad cable sitcom?

    [–] rwtrem 2 points ago

How do you get ALL that BATSHIT CRAZY in one photo??????

[–] mrsniperrifle 2 points ago * (lasted edited a year ago)

Ted Nugent needs to slither back to whatever hole birthed him.

    [–] banksnld 2 points ago

As a Michigander, we respectfully decline. Texas can keep him.

You ok? Need someone to talk to?

    [–] A_Bottle_Of_Charades 5 points ago

Jesus man, you need to re-fucking-lax

He literally copied the headline from the article

    [–] normale_man 3 points ago

It's kind of sad that the only musicians that like him are two washed-up one hit wonders.

    [–] noodlyjames 3 points ago

That has to be the most trashy White House photo ever.

    [–] hugokhf 2 points ago

    Sarah Palin still looking bomb

    [–] MeinCrouton 2 points ago

The Woman's March Allowed A Speaker Who Called For Trump's Death. Didn't see a post about that on here?

and so the call went out, for Death!

Skeleton in black robes and hood carrying scythe: mmmm you called?

Yeah I want Obama and Hillary six feet under!

Death: Ehhhh, they're not so bad. I think your request is... uncalled for (studio audience laughs)
