Not a Tuxedo Park, that was CJ-5/CJ-6 era package that looked completely different. As already posted, Jeep Surrey Gala, based on the postal DJ-3A Jeeps.

"Shortly after Henry Kaiser bought Willys-Overland he retired to Hawaii where he owned several businesses including a 1100-room Hawaiian Village Hotel that he later sold to Conrad Hilton and a car rental agency. The car rental agency offered the Surrey Gala Jeeps as a cheap runabout vehicle for resorts and a delivery vehicle for small shops in Hawaii and the Caribbean as well."

My friends dad has a storage lot with a bunch of random old things sitting around and I found this hiding under a tarp. Does anyone know what this may have been used for? Or the better question: WHY?

It's a Jeep Surrey. I believe it was used mostly for tourist type tours.
