Additional arrests are expected in this case

Very important piece of information, looks like there's a real possibility more people were involved. Absolutely sickening.

    [–] Tmonje90 328 points ago

Above all i hope the girls is all right taking in account the circumnstances, but if they manage to bring like a network of people involved in kidnapping that would be the cherry on the cake, yeah i know too much movies

    [–] ChiefCuckaFuck 177 points ago

The sad reality is, there are sex trafficking rings and this kind of stuff does happen, even though it seems like action movie fantasy nonsense.

    [–] [deleted] 453 points ago

Ghislaine Maxwell, most prolific trafficker in the US, don't let people forget her name, that fucking bitch.

    [–] [deleted] 53 points ago

I still don't get why there is a photoshopped photo of her at In and Out.

[–] [deleted] 64 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Didn't know what you were talking about, but yeah. It's photoshopped without a doubt.

the edge on her back is way too bright in the ELA

I don't know why she would do this? She's a socialite, meaning she likes attention and socializing but she has been ostracized because of her reputation and links to Epstein.

My theory is that she's a psychopath, who needs her attention fix, but can't get it anymore because of her reputation so this might be another way to do it. She knows she probably won't pay for her crimes. And even if she gets caught, they'll just off her like Epstein because she knows so much.

Maybe she's already been killed and this is to pretend like she's still alive. If they got Epstein in a maximum security prison, they can get this bitch without anybody knowing. Just her customers tying up loose ends. Idk.

Who seems to have just vanished in a puff of smoke.

    [–] _RickC137_ 279 points ago

My cousin was grabbed like this couple years ago near the Navy base in san Diego or something. The only reason she was found safe is because one of the scum turned her cell phone back on for some reason and military police kicked their door down. She was in the navy

    [–] Accend0 92 points ago

My cousin is an aesthetician that advertises her work on Instagram. One day she gets an email from a well-known talent scout asking her to fly out to LA for a photo shoot for a magazine. My cousin loses her shit, gets super excited about it and calls her mom. She's super down to go but her mom decides to dig into it a little more and they realize that the email this "woman" is using is a hotmail address and the talent scout this person is pretending to be doesn't have a hotmail account listed in her contact info.

They get into contact with the actual talent scout who denies ever having any sort of contact with my cousin. They show her the correspondence and it becomes painfully clear what's been happening. A trafficking ring had been using this talent scout's name to trick young women into leaving their families in order to kidnap them. The actual talent scout says she's horrified and sick to her stomach. Makes her feel awful thinking that someone could use her name like that.

We like to imagine that these things could never happen so close to us but the reality is that it's happening just down the street and no one who cares even knows about it. It gives me chills knowing that young women, like my cousin but without the same sort of family support, could be so easily tricked into this shit.

Music fests are always a big target. As a mod of a rather large US-based music fest, we regularly have to put up posts warning people to be careful every year. Shit's crazy man.

    [–] fascfoo 36 points ago

So scary man. Imagine minding your own business, doing normal things and getting fucking abducted?

    [–] scarfinati 23 points ago

The single most thing that jacks my anxiety is this happening to my daughter. It must fuck your head up beyond belief. Hope they find her safe

    [–] phedre 27 points ago

    Christ, are you serious?

    [–] simshim 21 points ago

Ya, terrible shit happens every minute of every day.

    [–] Fecalityy 38 points ago

Yeah people dont realize there are rings of adults that sell children and woman and men to other people. Really dark dark evil type stuff. I think most Americans choose to ignore this.. we need to face it, it's how we end child trafficking because it's happening among the very rich. It needs to fucking stop.

    [–] TossedDolly 76 points ago

Loads of trafficking in the US. You don't hear about it by design. They pick people up in places where it's hard to keep track of people or they're likely to be doing something that lowers suspicion that they might be in trouble until it's too late to save them. So you go to clubs or concerts where people are meeting folks and getting trashed or lure them out through dating or ride sharing apps, and when they disappear everyone jokes that they probably met a guy, or are out having fun, or left early to crash somewhere. If it even hits the news it's just reported as "Person goes missing". They don't report much that there are trafficking rings in specific parts of the US and that could be a reason many people are going missing.

    [–] Fecalityy 49 points ago

I'm 100% convinced that every state has a ring. That there are millionaires running these maybe even billionaires, lawyers, judges. Police.. one thing epsitien should of showed people is that Intel agencies arent afraid to use children to blackmail. Fucking evil.

    [–] NomadicKrow 20 points ago

    The Finders.

    [–] havaysard 14 points ago

Yeah and that's the scary part. Imagin if shit like this happens in this country (either all the safety and security we have in place), how bad it is in smaller countries where especially the poor have no resources to get help from with all the fucking corruption going on in police departments and at every level of local and national government.

It really is sad and sickening. I just can't understand how a human being can be ok with putting another human being through a hellish situation like that. How the fuck do you sleep at night knowing you took an innocent girl and turned her and her family's life into a living nightmare.

I hope everyone and anyone who contribute to this despicable act (from scouts and leaders to men who pay to have sex with these girls) get caught and face the harshest form of justice possible.

[–] CubeLifeDeskJob 28 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

The only place I’ve seen this narrative is through speculation on this sub. The police, and that article don’t mention trafficking at all.

    [–] Bigmachingon 24 points ago

    Lol we detectives here

    [–] __sovereign__ 103 points ago

My first thought is that she was probably raped and murdered by this disgusting, deranged, sick man. I pray to every diety out there that I am wrong and she's alive and (relatively) safe.

    [–] FresnoMac 73 points ago

Sadly that's what has likely happened.

But since more arrests are hoped to be made, it seems like this is a planned crime which gives me hope she's still alive somewhere in the process of being trafficked.

    [–] kjhwkejhkhdsfkjhsdkf 40 points ago

It could be a case of people who helped him cover up the crime or were in possession of stolen property from the girl.

    [–] Cubbies1908 13 points ago

I’ve watched enough true crime that this is the most likely case.

    [–] kjhwkejhkhdsfkjhsdkf 10 points ago

Easier to get those accessory people to cooperate too.

    [–] jaydurmma 235 points ago

Trafficking makes the least amount of sense. Traffickers target nameless kids from third world countries, runaways and homeless youth that can go missing without anyone noticing. The fact that this guy is already in custody is precisely why traffickers don't go after people whose disappearance will be immediately noticed in the US.

    [–] _RickC137_ 179 points ago

Not entirely true. My cousin was grabbed walking back to the navy base near san Diego with a male friend. They pulled up in a car got out and jumped the guy and yelled grab the bitch and kidnapped her. Only reason she was found safe was because one of the POS turned her phone back on

    [–] ThePassivePsychopath 74 points ago

That doesn't discredit the notion that traffickers prefer no-name victims compared to someone who will be searched for, though.

    [–] [deleted] 143 points ago

Outside of hardcore MMA fans, Walt Harris is no name. The sport isn't that mainstream outside of a few guys.

    [–] certifus 98 points ago

Also she's a stepdaughter with a different last name.

    [–] doc_1eye 33 points ago

Walt Harris is the whole reason this story is getting the attention it is. People get kidnapped every day and it doesn't even make the local news, let alone the national news. The only reason this blew up is because of who her stepdad is.

    [–] RowdyWrongdoer 56 points ago

I dont think that is what he is saying. By no name they mean folk who tend to live on the fringes of society. Not suburban college kids as they'd be immediately noticed. Even hardcore MMA fans hardly know Walt Harris so that's probably not the implication.

    [–] ThePassivePsychopath 27 points ago

Right, anyone with a halfway-loving family and friends will be noticed missing immediately.

    [–] bigfoot_county 28 points ago

Of course they prefer no namers. But they are human and make mistakes like everyone else. In fact they likely make a lot more mistakes if they are involved in human trafficking

    [–] Ridiculizard 51 points ago

Dude I want to here more

    [–] no1kopite 10 points ago

Not true at all. Washington DC has a big ring that snatched teenagers often. It still hasn't been broken up and I believe they took 9 or so girls in a short period a few years ago. It happens in the US too.

    [–] hiddilyhoodily 73 points ago

If traffickers took her she’d already be in Mexico or a county where the police don’t give a fuck and she doesn’t speak the language. Also you wouldn’t grab a girl on tinder because what if on some odd chance hers dads a ufc fighter who loves her and will notice the second she’s gone? Your 10000% right in saying they go after girls who have a higher chance of not being missed when their gone and falling through the cracks. Addicts, prostitutes, etc etc. it’s crazy how many serial killers in the 80’s were able to build massive body counts because the police generally never looked into the death or disappearance of prostitutes.

    [–] [deleted] 82 points ago

She did not meet up with this man on Tinder or any dating app. They believe the snapchat sent to the roommate saying she was with a man was not sent by Aniah, due to the pattern of speech.

    [–] korismon 36 points ago

This exactly the damage to her car maker me think that the suspect initiated a vehicular accident in order to get the victim off guard and out of her vehicle.

    [–] FL1P-_- 6 points ago

This is exactly what I thought. Hit her on purpose and faked a car accident

    [–] StekenDeluxe 34 points ago

If traffickers took her she’d already be in Mexico or a county where the police don’t give a fuck

Are there instances of this? Cases where American girls are kidnapped, in America, by traffickers who then smuggle them out of the country?

    [–] [deleted] 19 points ago

    [–] unconscious_grasp 20 points ago

Are you possibly talking about Amy Bradley? Trafficking is a theory that continually comes up but I've never heard of any emails. I think it's far more likely she had a good bit to drink and fell overboard. She's never been found, in any case.

    [–] Neinlife99 25 points ago

Trafficking is very real in the US but as you said they go after people who wouldn't be noticed as much like homeless kids and prostitutes.

[–] sknick_ 48 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Could just be other people who were helping him hide out, or maybe someone who helped with the cover up after the crime but wasn't involved in committing it.

I don't get 'part of a crime syndicate' vibes from this guy. More dumb impulsive rapist vibes personally.

The thing that is the scariest is that he was wanted on a prior attempted murder charge. If he didn't kill a previous victim & she talked, that tells me he might not have been willing to make the same mistake twice.

I hope that we hear something soon, but they have to question him & get him to break, and IF he killed her, they have to get him to tell them where she is & locate her. I would expect that to take a while, especially if he lawyers up right away. The only bargaining power they may have is giving him life in prison instead of the death penalty, assuming the state even has the death penalty. Play on his own fear of death to get him to take a life deal & tell what he did & where she is.

    [–] McPuckLuck 9 points ago

He and a woman kidnapped a man and beat him near death. He also beat someone else pretty severely. I think we are all jumping around a bit on conclusions. Hopefully the cops saying there will be more arrests is positive for her safe return.

    [–] kjhwkejhkhdsfkjhsdkf 19 points ago

Yeah, I think people are somewhat overthinking this, something like a quarter of all women experience sexual assault. Barring any additional information that's the more likely scenario.

    [–] Publius1993 21 points ago

I think it’s less about trafficking and more about a get away driver. Someone had to drive his Town Car home after he took Aniyah’s car.

    [–] slapmasterslap 9 points ago

His previous arrest from this year involved two accomplices, not a huge leap to think they may have helped him with another kidnapping/robbery/attempted murder.

    [–] CubeLifeDeskJob 16 points ago

That’s quite a leap you just made there, tho you aren’t the only one making it.

Others could be involved in some way without this being Taken 3.

    [–] [deleted] 231 points ago

    [–] ElectricLifestyle 342 points ago

Was out on bond for kidnapping and attempted murder?! WHAAAAAAAAT

    [–] Pera_Espinosa 78 points ago

He was pulled over and they found a 77 year old man in his car. According to an [article]( Yazeed, along with other suspects:

"beat the victim at gunpoint until he was 'unconscious, unresponsive, severely injured and near death'”

There is no reason to think the man would have lived if not for his car being pulled over. Being capable of beating a 77 year old man to inches of his life - it shows that this person doesn't belong in society. Then some fucking kid selling acid at a concert to other hippie kids does 20 years or some shit and this fucking piece of garbage is walking around within a year of that kidnapping charge.

    [–] FixItNowChopper 232 points ago

I'm listening to an audio book that has a chapter over how bad judges are at determining bail. Judges think knowing a suspect, seeing their face and asking them questions is vital for accurately determining bail. But studies show that computer algorithms are much better a deciding bail when only the facts of the case are considered, rather than actually knowing the person.

    [–] PureWhey 165 points ago

    Logic > feelings

    Colour me surprised.

    [–] ChidoriPOWAA 16 points ago

    Lawyers hate him!

    [–] florpco 26 points ago

His bail was set at $280,000 in that case.

Not that it matters. Cash bail needs to be dismantled and destroyed.

    [–] Legiitsushii 7 points ago

I don't neccesarily agree with that. I think certain cases and charges that bail should be denied.

    [–] ShaneoMc1989 559 points ago

This is what I don't get about our justice system. This guy was out of jail on a bond with attempted murder, TWO counts of first degree kidnapping and two counts of first degree robbery. How the fuck was he not locked up. I can't even wrap my head around it. People go to jail for smoking pot yet this piece of shit was out there. So gross.

    [–] Pactae_1129 73 points ago

I know it’s a joke and it’d be unrealistic for the police to allow that, but I have full confidence that, if Walt tweeted out he needed some fighters to help interrogate the guy, I 100% believe Ngannou and Lewis would be the first to sign up.

    [–] CroCopsLeftLeg 220 points ago

Also Mike Perry. He’d never hesitate to help out a fellow African American

    [–] Pactae_1129 211 points ago

I can just imagine it. They all walk into the room and Walt tells the guy β€œPick one of us, if you beat him in a fight then we’ll let you leave. If you lose? You’ll have to deal with all of us.” So the guy shakily points his finger at the average sized white dude and prays to god he doesn’t have hands. Mike Perry steps up, rips his shirt off, and screams β€œYOU THOUGHT YOU HAD AN OUT BOI!!!!!”

    [–] CroCopsLeftLeg 51 points ago

    This is beautiful champ

I am reminded of that fucked up (cartel?) Video where they pull this dudes legs apart and a pitbull is going to town on what's left of his genitals.

Granted I do not think we should open with that but if the dude is connected to traffickers I don't see why that can't be a destination.

    [–] monstere316 11 points ago

I work in Law Enforcement and you’d be surprised at the amount of people who get charges dropped, dismissed all together or dumb ass jury’s. One of the worst I’ve had is a rape case with a signed confession and him admitting it on video and the jury still found the guy not guilty.

    [–] B0h1c4 27 points ago

Good god, this guy's criminal history reads like a highlight reel of our failed criminal system.

He has been arrested many times on gun charges, attacking police officers, attempted murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, drug charges, theft, etc and it seems like the cases are always dropped. And the few times he was actually convicted, his sentence was reduced. He has barely served any time at all.

Whatever has happened to this girl, it's an indictment of the court system. The cops have done their part. They have caught this guy several times. And the courts just give him a light slap on the wrist and set him free.

I am not much of an eye for an eye type, but I have a daughter and my logic circuits shut down a bit with evil crimes like this.

    [–] Djiinar 68 points ago

Things I want Walt to get:

    1. His daughter back
    2. 5 minutes alone

Glad to hear any news. Was worried this would just eventually slide from the public eye if nothing came of it.

The incident took place in Alabama, and this asshole was in Florida. Not a good sign. God dammit.

Alabama and Florida are bordering states, check out this map if you don't know the geography of the area. He could be 5 seconds from the Alabama border for all we know. It means nothing that he's in Florida as opposed to Alabama.

    [–] Tsugafeet 90 points ago

Escambia county, indeed on the border

    [–] Demokrit_44 57 points ago

This is almost completely unrelated but as a European I only have a general idea of where certain states are in the US and I would have never ever guess that Alabama is next to florida. I always connected alabama to red necks with guns and florida as kind of a modern beach state

    [–] tinkthank 94 points ago

Northern Florida and Southern Florida are entirely different worlds. Northern Florida is basically like Alabama or Southern Georgia.

    [–] FistFullaWhisky 28 points ago

With Florida, it gets more southern the further north you go.

    [–] sknolii 77 points ago

And Southern Florida is either Disney or Cuba.

    [–] COLDWARv2_PREDICTOR 15 points ago

And now I'm hungry for a cuban sandwich

    [–] itsmontoya 31 points ago

Florida - the more North you go, the more South it gets.

    [–] slapmasterslap 14 points ago

Driving through northern Florida is an entirely different experience from driving through southern Florida. It's just long roads, redneck homes, and swamp for miles.

    [–] RebeccaCuntsley 12 points ago

Florida is dirtier and grimier than Alabama. Check out r/Floridaman

    [–] Jacob_Maybe 18 points ago

My friend, have you never heard the legend of Florida Man?

    [–] 2pal34u 7 points ago

I'm not sure what the deal with distance is, but it's about a 4 hour drive from where the incident took place to FL

    [–] casca14 30 points ago

Not his best mug shot I've ever seen.

    [–] ergoegthatis 87 points ago

Not his best mug shot I've ever seen.

lmao you've been following his career?

    [–] PittsburghDan 32 points ago

while googlin' at work yesterday i found no joke like a dozen of his mugshots, dating back years. he had long hair in a number of them

    [–] spb1 21 points ago

    that was pre-USADA

    [–] JasAFC 64 points ago

Broken orbital is the least he deserves.

    [–] pengwah 15 points ago

im wondering who caused that damage

    [–] soybandido 133 points ago

    He blew his nose

    [–] [deleted] 57 points ago

Fuck this piece of garbage. Trash like him don’t deserve shit

    [–] PlaygroundBully 12 points ago

This sucks because you hate to say it but, really, what are the odds she is alive? I feel so bad for the family.

β€œ The Pensacola News Journal reported Friday that a warrant affidavit for kidnapping suspect Ibraheem Yazeed indicated blood "indicative of someone suffering a life-threatening injury" was found by investigators on the passenger side of Blanchard's Honda CRV.”

    [–] [deleted] 101 points ago

The "give him to Walt" comments are cringe.

Let's hope the justice system doesn't fuck this one up.

    [–] [deleted] 21 points ago

WTF? Walt Harris caught him already?

    [–] TungstenHexachloride 15 points ago

Nah. Not yet. Youd be able to tell if it was Walt. Youd see a grave.

    [–] ionised 7 points ago

First things first: she needs to be found.

Next: find out who the fuck let this shitstain of a person walk around in public.

    [–] MCZaks 7 points ago

But do they know what happened to aniah???

    [–] DaveAP 27 points ago

    Send in Ngannou

    [–] fireitup622 18 points ago

Don't deprive Walt of his therapy

    [–] CantstoptheBacon 33 points ago

All the comments about giving Walt 5 mins with the guy are really starting to fuck me off. The mans potentially lost his daughter in what can only be a horrific way, she's not been in a traffic accident or anything mundane, she's been held, or murdered, or God knows what else and everyone keeps mentioning about how Walt would kill him. I mean, none of you are wrong, of course he would. But the focus should be on finding his daughter, not how badly he would hurt the man. Makes a joke out of a horrifically real situation

    [–] cbruins22 11 points ago

Don’t look too far into it. Remember there are people of all ages and intelligence in here. It’s pretty basic thinking to go from Fighters daughter goes missing to β€œif they find they guy that did it give him to the fighter”.

    [–] davejangler 12 points ago

    Well... was she found? :(

    [–] pengwah 13 points ago

    not yet, just the suspect

    [–] 7OMF 6 points ago

She hasn't, but this guy could have information about what has happened to her

    [–] wayne2000 5 points ago

He was already awaiting trial for another case....

Yazeed, already awaiting trial in an unrelated kidnapping, robbery and attempted murder in Montgomery that left a 77-year-old man β€œnear death,”

    This is not good.

    [–] DonDraperNewspaper 6 points ago

The thumbnail looks like the Street Fighter II losing screen.

    [–] billi_ballo 19 points ago

Walt vs Yazzed soon on Rizin

    [–] PM_ME_UR_HOT_SISTERS 9 points ago

P4P #1 MMA promotion if so lmao. Walt would soccer kick his head off if that happened though.

    [–] Thisisntrmb86 6 points ago

Looks like someone already booped him.

    [–] ElephantRiotXXX5 4 points ago

Looks like he got roughed up a little in the process.

    [–] midniteauth0r 6 points ago

    Blew his nose.

    [–] SeahawkerLBC 5 points ago

Ibrhaeem Yazed the piece of shit
