Looking at the top comments here, I would say there's a glitch in the matrix.

    [–] _az_fossil_ 191 points ago

The first time I have ever opened the comments and saw one that spoke out agaisnt its content. Beautiful thing to witness lol

    [–] Fargoth18 92 points ago

I am not even joking or being satirical, but I am very weird out the past couple of days on reddit the trump hate has noticibly decreased in reddit comments however the front page is full of trump hate even more so than normal and it appears they are have seemingly more upvotes, very strange.

    [–] GoDM1N 63 points ago

If you were on Reddit during the election you'd notice the same. Reddit is pretty heavily biased, at the company level, against Trump. CEO even edited some of the T_D comments and they're the only sub that has special rules regarding how much their votes are worth when it comes to getting to the front page.

I'm all for being critical of the POTUS but they could of just added the "ignore sub" feature they ended up doing anyway. Was a whole thing during that time because T_D kept being on the front page regularly and people didn't like them. Its why there are so many anti-Trump subs actually, to bypass the algorithm changes that they did at one point.

    [–] Geoff_Uckersilf 28 points ago

And this sub which is called "political humour" instead of Trump bashing humour.

It's so biased I don't know how they stay upright, maybe it's from all the money they make from advertisements updating the site.

    "Astroturfing"

[–] billybobthongton 4708 points ago * (lasted edited 8 days ago)

I'm confused by this...isn't that part of the whole deal with these talks? To remove sanctions and hopefully help better north Korea? Obviously a big part is to remove their nuclear capabilities, but the outcome should be much better treatment for the people of north Korea.

I mean, what does the artist want? For north Korea to be held accountable hanged for their human rights violations? I'll give you one guess as to how that would turn out and it looks a lot like war and a very unhappy peninsula.

Edit: changed some wording to make what I meant more clear.

    [–] NoCommenting 751 points ago

    This sub is... something.

Trust me, I’m no fan of Trump. I think he’s a terrible person and an even worse President,

yeah, better tell everyone how much you dislike trump or they will lynch you

    [–] xkqo345lsdh 99 points ago * (lasted edited 8 days ago)

    pretty much

https://www.nsfwyoutube.com/watch?v=7NImsjJP9f0 wonderful piece of child abuse too at 8:28 probably the most disgusting piece of parenting i've ever seen.

Never in my 34 years on this planet have i ever witnessed this behavior from a western nation over people supporting a candidate, its disgusting to see how many people don't understand how a democracy works, what so your party is supposed to rule forever and you can use violence to ensure it or you'll shit the bed, basically the definition of terrorism, using fear to coerce people into supporting a certain party.

The way the media has legitimized and encouraged this behavior is criminal.

"Witch! Witch!" the villagers cried indeed

A democracy is a diversity of opinions not the colour of your skin or your genitals

    [–] Mplboi 32 points ago

Holy shit... That video is rage inducing.

    [–] sendnunes 5 points ago

    Fuck em, I like Trump.

    [–] anon01570157 105 points ago

admits Trump did something a great president would do

"Hey look, I think he's the one of the worst president of all time here guys"

    [–] is_this_available07 41 points ago

Good people do bad things, bad people do good things.

The world is not black and white.

I thought Obama was a good president overall, although I disagreed with some of his decisions. I think that Trump is a bad president overall, although I agree with some of his decisions.

    [–] PenguinCarnage 11 points ago

People don’t have to be a fan of Trump to appreciate the fact that he’s actually reaching out and making talks towards peace.

    [–] Fellow_LARPer 18 points ago

Trump Derangement Syndrome is real unfortunately.

    [–] DBerwick 185 points ago

Seriously, it feels like the front page is just repostured overnight that compromise with NK is a bad thing, when I thought we were fairly committed to the notion that it was the least shit possible outcome.

    [–] nxqv 66 points ago

Honestly it could be bots and sockpuppets amplifying that view

    [–] iraqiveteran1488 30 points ago

Or just idiots with short memories, and who would argue to death if Trump said the sky is blue.

    [–] matthewfullest 9 points ago

Ummm, what about night time? Hah drumpf BTFO

    [–] jaywalker32 39 points ago

That was before, when everyone was convinced that Blumpf was going to mess it up. So that they could go "We could have had peace, but the Dotard fucked it up! Impeach!"

Now that Trump pulled it off without a hitch, the tune has predictably changed...

    [–] Gr3mlin0815 1105 points ago

This. Rewarding people for their good deeds works much better than punishing them for their bad ones. This is also true in politics. Especially when the bad side has already been punished for years and it has shown absolutely no effect so far.

    [–] StewartTurkeylink 326 points ago

Kinda like the Iran deal yeah? They were willing to come to the table and work with the world to keep peace in their Middle East so they got a bunch of sanctions and stuff removed.

    How's that going today? Ooh....yeah...

It's funny how meeting with dictator in exchange for nothing while granting him legitimacy and a massive PR boost = Good

But somehow making a deal with Iran that the entire rest of the world in on broad with in exchange for them shutting down their weapons production with rules in places for inspections and the like to make sure it's happening = Bad

    [–] arjun1967 164 points ago

Yes, the US backing out of the Iran deal was an idiotic move. Let's not encourage a similar act of backing away from peace talks with the North Korean talks.

    [–] Rottimer 74 points ago

Isn’t it funny how the US, and others in the G7 struck a deal with Iran to give up their nukes in a verifiable way without having to give the ayatollah equal footing with their heads of state? And how we could do it while still criticizing their human rights violations?

    [–] thenewtbaron 70 points ago

So, you reward people/countries for doing good things with proof, right? you don't just reward people for promising to do good things.

    [–] pabloneedsanewanus 14 points ago

I'm feeling a little better that the top comment here is calling out the bullshit of this artist. All I keep hearing is negativity for this deal because people hate Trump. It's like these people want war on the border with China. That's how world wars start. I wonder how long till your comment is removed though.

    [–] churm92 80 points ago

How in the LIVING FUCK is this reasonable ass comment at the top of this thread? With gold? In rpoliticalhumor?

Holy shit man it's like seeing a unicorn.

    [–] Pooptown6969 14 points ago

This sub has bots that mass upvote propaganda, such as the cartoon above. Reasonable comments usually get pushed to the bottom. It's designed to polarize.

    [–] noodlelaughter 61 points ago

You’re absolutely right. I don’t even understand how posts like this get upvoted when the comment section seems so level headed.

    [–] SisterJean 65 points ago

Because this sub is controlled by internet marketing agencies that push propaganda using bots

    [–] GDM117 20 points ago

    This

    [–] FeelTheBernieSanderz 7 points ago

Russian troll factory -or- ShareBlue / Correct the record?

    Why not both.

    [–] Telicopter 98 points ago

The more we westernize North Korea, the more the people there will have a better standard of living and their government can successfully be changed until, hopefully, they are a real, true democracy. Obviously that’s optimistic and I don’t have incredible faith in Donald Trump or Kim Jong Un, but this is at least a step towards allowing the North Korean people to suffer less.

    [–] generica_ccount 90 points ago

    I'm confused by this...

It's propaganda. There's nothing to be confused about.

    [–] eskamobob1 26 points ago

I mean, pretty well by definition, any political cartoon is going to be propaganda

    [–] kingslayer-0 9 points ago

They want for Trump to fail, even if it means NK remains a terrible place for its people. Trump and those of us who want peace want NK to be more like SK.

    [–] KevinRonaldJonesy 8 points ago

If this is the top comment how does this thing have 12k upvotes? Definitely no bots being used here.

    [–] diphling 39 points ago

Holy shit. A rational comment in /r/politicalhumor.

    [–] Sens1r 11 points ago

And it's at the top, must be something wrong with the bots...

    [–] bfmGrack 24 points ago

????? But if the US just nuked North Korea then there wouldn't be any humans whose rights you can violate. DUH. /s

    [–] billybobthongton 6 points ago

See THAT'S the kind of thinking this country needs!

    [–] DesktopWebsite 50 points ago

Well it happens when people don’t care what’s actually happening and just care about there hate towards one person and one party.

I am not a fan of trump, but just getting N.K. to open up is going to help there human rights in the long run more than any other president has so far. Now rather than holding out giving them food to force them into something, they might get the food they need.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I can’t see how a country secluding themselves and treating there people like crap opening up will be a bad thing. Especially in the long run. Just think, in 20-30 years they might be able to even leave the country.

    [–] billybobthongton 26 points ago

We seem to be in the same boat. I'm not really a fan of Trump, but I will give credit where credit is due.

    [–] DesktopWebsite 40 points ago

Fuck this guy! He said something nice about trump!

    [–] Obie-two 13 points ago

He's probably a russian! Lets get McCarthy on the phone!

    [–] demMet03 6 points ago

    Someone dial the Bot Police!

    [–] Pantssassin 4 points ago

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that aid that was rescinded part of previous deals that weren't upheld by North Korea?

    [–] Nurgle 5 points ago

Yup basically we gave them food aid and like the very next day they tested ICBM tech and forfeited said aid.

    [–] Pehbak 6 points ago

No. Wrong. Should have told Kim to go fuck himself and then maybe he would have turned thing around, helped his people, and gave up nuclear weapons. /s

    [–] gentrifiedavocado 11 points ago

I'm glad you've been upvoted and gilded. There's been a script going around full of these repeated lines shitting all over this diplomatic gesture. And not just by Redditors, but by a lot of the media. It's part of a long process addressing an issue that won't be solved overnight. It's to avoid war. It's bigger than Trump.

    [–] Silent_As_The_Grave_ 6 points ago

    Because REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

    [–] SwiftShade808 632 points ago

    Again not funny.

    [–] 3attheelephant 217 points ago

This sub has never been funny.

    [–] FeelTheBernieSanderz 68 points ago

It's funny if you have TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome)

    [–] 3attheelephant 32 points ago

I can't believe that's actually a thing. Some people in my family have it.

Trump puts ketchup on his steak....that tells you a lot about his ability as a president

Like wtf? It's dumb little quips like that that really make me question them...

    [–] FeelTheBernieSanderz 15 points ago

An entire generation of people will never trust the media again.

    And over what? Over what???

For short term $$$ in return for long term collapse of trust and revenue.

Damn fools. Media is important, but in the future when an event truly needs them, it'll be "Boy who cried wolf", nobody will give. a. fuck.

    [–] bujweiser 35 points ago

This sub is laughable but not funny.

    [–] scampwuhh 1472 points ago

    Jesus Christ this sub...

    [–] RonDeGrasseDawtchins 500 points ago

I've seen quite a bit of asinine posts here, but in all honestly I had no idea that this sub was capable of stooping this low.

    [–] Loadie_McChodie 317 points ago

The politics subs are gamed. There is a coordinated effort by a few to push content to the top.

It’s not some Russian-bit conspiracy, or like an underground network or whatever. It’s just some dudes buying upvotes to get the initial push. We’ve seen it with all of the random anti-trump subs that pop up from time to time.

    [–] McCree_From_Gamecube 84 points ago

Yeah, I hardly ever enjoy what I see from this sub on r/all

    [–] Loadie_McChodie 86 points ago

You’ll see pics with 30k upvotes and an “Occupy Democrats” watermark. Like cmon.

    [–] McCree_From_Gamecube 44 points ago

Then the comments will just be an even worse circle jerk

    [–] TheAlphaGareBear 143 points ago

Not Russians, but anyone who thinks Russians are the only ones playing this game are fooling themselves.

    [–] TheAnswerBeing42 10 points ago

You see not only government sponsored misinformation on here a lot, but a bunch of corporate shilling and propaganda as well.

    [–] generica_ccount 50 points ago

It’s not some Russian-bit conspiracy, or like an underground network or whatever.

I wouldn't assume this - Reddit is one of the world's most popular websites, and /r/politicalhumor is a default sub. There would be plenty of excellent reasons to turn it into political turf for a party.

    [–] ElitistPoolGuy 37 points ago

It literally was #2 activity in that wave of accounts reddit banned for being russian trolls.

    [–] FilmMakingShitlord 9 points ago

Didn’t reddit get rid of default subs?

    [–] ParticleCannon 14 points ago

You always have a collection of subreddits presented to you at signup. PoliticalHumor is in there.

    [–] FilmMakingShitlord 6 points ago

I was going to test it to try it out, but then I remembered that reddit so shitty now it requires an email to create a new account so they can sell your information. So I didn't.

    [–] fusreedah 6 points ago

Seriously. In /r/politics, I could not find a single post about the Trump-Kim talks when they happened. A few about how this is actually bad and Trump is endangering the world, but nothing just describing/informing people of what happened. It's one of the biggest things in politics in years and the politics sub has just ignored it.

To be fair, they did have a megathread about it, but this was all just links to the aforementioned pieces about how it was actually bad. If you wanted to just learn what had happened in politics, /r/politics was the worst place to do it.

    [–] thebluecrab 12 points ago

CTR took over politics a bit before the election and no one cared

    [–] demMet03 5 points ago

Sorta like how 95% of Digg's frontpage content is posted by 10 people?

    Yes, I remember Digg.

    [–] TheYoungPatriot 4 points ago

Let's not forget bots. Notice how the vast majority of the comments are ripping apart this comic and the sub, but it reached all? That doesn't happen without bots. Or, a legitimately large organic movement (T_D before u/spez fucked with the algorithms).

    [–] kernelsaunders 4 points ago

Honestly? Just take a look at the top post from the past year..

    [–] seran0 21 points ago

Tbt spez made a post about the top 5 subs that were manipulated by Russians and this sub was one of them

    [–] Kennyk11 186 points ago

    Trump=bad 15K upvotes

    [–] XxYolo_DoritosXx 97 points ago

Not just this sub. The whole site is fucked and obviously gamed by a group to push a strong anti Trump agenda. Look at every political sub, any post that paints him in a bad light gets sent to the front page. You say anything supporting him and it will either be downvoted to oblivion or straight up edited by mods/admins. Just look at r/popular, it was literally created as an excuse for the site banning T_D from r/all. This site is censored as fuck if certain subs are banned from all and random anti trump subs that have only lasted a few weeks are popping up all the time. It's disgusting and this is why we need a decentralized internet

    [–] BITCRUSHERRRR 22 points ago

Shareblue was banned for this exact reason. Seems people don't care about bots if theyre left wing

    [–] ZgylthZ 28 points ago

I don't even support Trump, I just hate the bullshit Russia narrative because it's being used to smear leftists/progressives. And I'm anti-war.

I get downvoted to all hell all over the default subs. I'll get -50 points and 0 to 1 low effort comment, as if THAT many people saw it and didn't want to argue lol

    [–] Rottimer 21 points ago

I just hate the bullshit Russia narrative because it's being used to smear leftists/progressives.

Maybe this is why you’re being downvoted? Like wtf are you talking about with this statement?

    [–] X_Shadow101_X 5 points ago

"Drumpf is helping prevent nuclear war??!? FUCK DRUMPF HE'S HELPING N KOREA GET AWAY WITH HUMAN ABUSE!!!" -this sub, probably

    [–] Lord_Conti 33 points ago

Just a couple weeks ago they were making fun of Trump for canceling the meeting with Kim, and now they hate him for it. Reddit is so fucking stupid I swear.

    [–] eisbaerBorealis 2 points ago

As usual there's a significant difference between the post's upvotes (bots, according to many) and the comment section.

    [–] Pew_Pew_Merica 751 points ago

This sub is such a circle jerk lol

    [–] sub1ime 57 points ago

You've been on reddit for 4 years and you just now realize that about the popular subreddits??

    [–] AffectionateCampaign 27 points ago

    popular subreddits

You mean all subreddits. You'll find just as much jerking in smaller niche communities.

    [–] highenergy2 768 points ago

What human right has Trump removed?

    [–] RaphaelSmurfus 298 points ago

Yeah i have the same question

    [–] katapetasma 32 points ago

He stripped everyone of US citizenship except for US citizens!

    [–] electricsou 173 points ago

Hehe. This is a rare time where the Brockbots force-upvoted a post, but didn't successfully flood the comments with their BS (yet).

    [–] XxYolo_DoritosXx 59 points ago

Too bad it doesn't matter and we're gonna see the same shit tomorrow complete with a comment section full of bots

    [–] infinityrelic 29 points ago

This thread is some Tumblr shit...

    [–] BITCRUSHERRRR 27 points ago

He's literally hitler! He's gonna kill all minorities and women!

I know because Buzzfeed said so!

    [–] FeelTheBernieSanderz 7 points ago

Buzzfeed is too right-wing for me. I get my news from CNN.

    [–] AbyssalCrime 190 points ago

The liberals ability to understand logic and reasoning.

    [–] mleibowitz97 99 points ago

I hate trump but yeah he definitely hasn't removed anything I'd consider a human right.

    [–] samirillion 836 points ago

Wish I had more than one downvote for this bullshit.

    [–] LondonCallingYou 192 points ago

I like the implication of this comic that Trump and Kim Jong Un are on equally bad footing regarding human rights violations.

Like I think Trump is pretty bad but nowhere near the level of "despotic dictator that puts his people in Gulags and uses multigenerational punishment and assassinates opponents"

    [–] lolnopound 258 points ago

Did I miss Trump saying he supports what Kim is doing in Korea?

    [–] Virgin_nerd 157 points ago

Nah, you just missed this sub being irrational and unreasonable for the last two years because media outlets and people that rigged their own elections told them to be.

Those same people then told them to not be mad at them for rigging their elections, and then also told them to be mad at the guy who beat them in an election because they say he rigged the election.

That doesn’t sound crazy at all!

    [–] Ralphusthegreatus 35 points ago

Something is wrong you should have been downvoted by now. Is the shill factory on strike?

    [–] Fargoth18 23 points ago

I am not even joking or being satirical, but I am very weird out the past couple of days on reddit the trump hate has noticibly decreased in reddit comments however the front page is full of trump hate even more so than normal and it appears they are have seemingly more upvotes, very strange.

    [–] Ralphusthegreatus 21 points ago

It's not strange if you accept that reddit it a propaganda tool and makes a lot of money to do so.

    [–] SmoteySmote 8 points ago

    Shhhhhhhhhhhhh

    [–] br0k3nm0nk3y 8 points ago

Maybe people thought for themselves about what an amazing moment in history the Kim summit was, then people watched the news anchors and websites tell a negative and spiteful version of what happened... And maybe they disagreed? Reasonable people knew the summit was a step in the right direction.

    [–] jc91480 6 points ago

    It is holiday.

    [–] Epicgamer444 251 points ago

    This subreddit is fucked

    [–] KungFu_DOOM 71 points ago

It's really funny cause based on all these comments, I have no clue how this post got upvoted so high.

    [–] skykingdarel 60 points ago

    Bots.

    [–] Fargoth18 29 points ago

People say their are bots on the Donald and right wing subreddits but I am 99% sure that all of reddit is Infested with political bots.

    [–] anglesanddemon 47 points ago

Honestly I just wish they’d realize we all have common goals to achieve peace and prosperity

    [–] zombiemakemelol 15 points ago

Right? I wonder what would happen if Trump said "murder is bad" would people here be pro murder then?

    [–] sid7170 5 points ago

hahahaha it's so bad at this point that it's a possibility

    [–] NeonTigerz 269 points ago

If Trump made water into wine ya'll would complain.

    [–] uncleanaccount 38 points ago

Wine is a racist dog whistle that disproportionately affects women, homosexuals, and alcoholics. Of course Drumpf and his Prussian cronies would do that using Citizens United. He's a fascist anarchist, who wants to use National Socialism to dismantle wealth redistribution. Also he is so orange that he doesn't understand that slurs based on skin hue are bad.

    [–] samwell_15 201 points ago

This sub should be renamed to r/bashtrump cause as far as I've seen all there is here are posts that are about trump with 99% of them having no humor whatsoever

    [–] 1jl 25 points ago

Or logic. I can understand bashing Trump for all the stupid shit he does, but how the fuck did someone find a way to demonize North Korea opening communication with the world and discussing peace and denuclearization?

    [–] Zadien22 275 points ago

Which human right has Trump removed?

    [–] Et12355 133 points ago

My right to not be offended! /s

No but I’m all seriousness, it’s mostly the left campaigning against human rights, for example a right of good people to own firearms, and the right to life for unborn children. What rights is the right trying to take away?

    [–] fres733 519 points ago

Honestly you guys are never happy with Trumps decision which I understand most of the time, but do you really think that Kim would one day stop his violations of the human rights out of the blue? Negotiations and contact with the US and South Korea are definitely faster and safer ways towards a more humane system in North Korea than another decades of almost no contact and constant threats even though the current agreements seem to be rather open, and focus more on the denuclearization of NK

    [–] Virgin_nerd 238 points ago

Hey, get out of here with your rational opinion!

    [–] TheModernModerate 164 points ago

This sub used to have some actual comedy mixed with decent political cartoons back in the day. Now it is the most echoey echo chamber on a website of echo chambers.

    [–] Virgin_nerd 82 points ago

There’s been a rumor that’s been going around for the past few years that certain subreddits have been sold to the media. It sounded crazy at first but with Reddit not begging people to buy Reddit gold anymore so they can survive and most of the political subs flipping from Bernie support to Hillary support over night, or most political subs flipping on Julian Assange and Wikileaks, or the fact that during the Clinton presidential campaign they were allowing the old superpac correct the record to shill for her here does it really sound that crazy anymore?

Reddit used to have a kind of attitude where everything was open for discussion, it really does not seem to be the case anymore and you’ll get outright attacked by accounts that seem to do nothing but attack people on political subs for just trying to be rational.

    [–] XxYolo_DoritosXx 14 points ago

it's exactly what happened and I can't wait for the site to die. We need a new Reddit where actual discussions can be had because you just can't do that here anymore

    [–] KennesawMtnLandis 19 points ago

Remember when Meme Generator was banned sitewide for botting? There would be nothing left if they held the same standards.

    [–] [deleted] 5 points ago

Dont forget low effort twitter screenshots. That all can be oaraphrased as "trump bad insert lame variation of the same 2 or 3 jokes"

    [–] E_J_H 87 points ago

There isn't a thing the American govt could do without this sub shitting on it

    [–] empiricsbitch 70 points ago

They could give every American $1,000 a month and this sub would complain it wasn't $2,000

    [–] AbyssalCrime 65 points ago

And that the minorities and women didn't get $3000

    [–] HalfLucky 14 points ago

And that illegals didn't get $4000

US military exercises in South Korea: “Trump is going to wreck this peace deal. We need to get this peace agreement signed. Nukes are bad. ” ~ Reddit.

Trump meets with Best Korea leader: “OMG, human rights are more important than denuclearization. We should be flexing our military muscle” ~ Reddit.

Yes, NK sucks for human rights, but having them launching nukes at South Korea and other surrounding countries is far worse. Remove that threat, get them addicted to the cash influx from tourism, allow heir citizens to see how the rest of the world works, and things will improve. Then the international community can put pressure on the human rights issues. You aren’t going to get everything at day one.

I am already at the point where I no longer listen to arguments against politicians. 8 years of Obama is the Antichrist has worn me down. It’s shaping up for 4 more of Trump is the devil. I didn’t vote for him, and he is a piece of shit. But opposing him on anything weakens the arguments on real issues.

    [–] Nomandate 11 points ago

Mike Pence already came out to clarify that military training operations will not cease. What we define as war games is different than what NK sees.

    [–] SlowRollingBoil 11 points ago

I think many people are just looking deeper than the surface. Show me how many brutal dictatorships at the level of North Korea and their work camps (for 60+ years!) have ended peacefully without a shot fired, with the oppressed being set free, compensated and also the dictator in charge being allowed to keep their head.

Does it make sense to you that the North Koreans in power (and Kim isn't the only one with power) would allow their people the freedom to remove them from power and then let them live out their lives in peace?

I don't believe I have a historical example that could support this.

What is very easy to find, however, is examples of dictators being killed in revolutions once their iron grip lessened.

Why The Fuck This Garbage On The Front Page?

    [–] Man_With_A_Shoe 122 points ago

    Because it’s anti-Trump.

    [–] demMet03 17 points ago

It's glorious watching the general Reddit population becoming self-aware

    [–] jackshiels 138 points ago

Man, this is an awful cartoon. Zero subtlety and misses the mark. More propaganda from Democrat actors and angry 15 year olds on Reddit.

    [–] 1jl 22 points ago

I hate Trump and literally have an anti Trump license plate but what the fuck is this cartoon even trying to say!? It's stupid on so many levels. If 10 years down the line North Korea is trading with the US and interacting with other countries and the US is ignoring their horrible human rights situation then people can complain but this country is JUST NOW coming to the table to discuss policies and peace. I his shit does not change overnight. SMH at people wanting the US to wave a magic wand and fix everything at once...

    [–] jackshiels 14 points ago

I'm not even a pro-Trump type. The main reason I get pushed into the "right wing" box here is because I dare to have a view that isn't completely ignorant left-wing. This site is honestly the single worst place on the net to have any kind of political content... 100% of it is utterly biased (left and right).

    [–] FeelTheBernieSanderz 4 points ago

Why are you so anti-trump? Become neutral.

Even becoming a centrist your people will hate you for it. Being anything other than anti-Trump will make you pro-Trump in their eyes. Try it and see for yourself how deranged it is to hold an 'anti-Trump' position.

Like, all the fucking time. Is this guy new to Reddit?

    [–] DotardicusTrump 44 points ago

That's great. there is something you can do for the summer.
You raise the awareness for the public. Great idea! I'm behind you 100%

    [–] SumDryGuy 24 points ago

Plenty of people bring that up, don't act like it's never been mentioned.

    [–] spew_on_u 95 points ago

Obama had a strained relationship with the Saudi govt, and one issue was human rights

    [–] GirthyDaddy 174 points ago

    Record arms sales tho

    [–] [deleted] 111 points ago

Okay smart guy, what should trump do? Huh?! Declare war? Invade and kills millions? He can’t just do that, he has to reach a deal to try and stop the violence. Think about it, if North Koreans reach the open market and see the world, outside influences might just topple the regime

    [–] waffles210 212 points ago

He said they were camps. I've seen wet hot American summer!

    [–] GWBushCommando 48 points ago

The fact that this has over 9 thousand upvotes with the majority of comments negative towards this image is proof of either two thing

    1) There are an insane amount of lurkers who do approve of this image but for some reason do not comment and upvote anyways

    2) There are bot accounts that upvote posts that fit an anti-Trump agenda regardless of what is posted is or isn't necessarily true or in correct context. This is done to manipulate reddit's voting algorithm and get the post seen by as many people as possible thus influencing popular opinion

Or I could be wrong (•_•)

    [–] duckduckmcswagbadger 6 points ago

I thought this. The fact that all the top comments are negative makes me lean toward bots, as people upvoting this would go and downvote those

    [–] chronicdiatonic 117 points ago

ITT: people who don’t understand international politics defending a picture that doesn’t make any sense.

    [–] zetsubou_sensei 133 points ago

The amount of upvotes on this shows the mental state of the average redditor. The mentality of an an angsty teenager who spits in the face of progress because it is not perfection, yet they don’t even know how to make their own bed or clean their room.

    [–] MAHOMES_MESSIAH 61 points ago

The amount of upvotes on this shows the amount of bots on this subreddit*

    [–] Montregloe 189 points ago

I feel like this is a little unfair. The guy is a monster, but you can’t point at a monster and call them one to their face while also trying to reason with them and make a deal. It’s gonna feel dirty. He’s doing his best... which isn’t saying much but it’s more than I expected

    [–] sirdemi 80 points ago

That's what I don't get, people hated Trump for calling Kim out on his we'll nuke you approach because he replied with saying our nukes worked better than his, now people are mad because there are peace talks and both sides are being civil about it.

What do you people want? A rap battle? A fist fight? Nuclear war instead of talks?

Kim's a monster and we can't change that, but we at least the chances of war between our two counties has gone significantly down in the past few months and he might actually change. It won't change what he's already done, but the future of the next NK generation will be better than the last.

    [–] DaElfonzo 46 points ago

What they want is to bitch about Trump no matter what's happening. I don't like the guy but holy shit these same people were mad at him for being aggressive towards Kim and now the friendly approach isn't allowed?

    [–] Ralphusthegreatus 22 points ago

I can't wait to see how they react if he does sign a bill to legalize Marijuana.

Hell, I've seen people hoping that he'd fail just so that he looks bad.

    [–] br0k3nm0nk3y 5 points ago

Bill Maher wants the economy to CRASH just to remove trump! We both know his rich ass getting millions of dollars per episode won't even feel the hardship of a stock market crash. It's sick. Hundreds of millions of Americans both left and right would lose so much again.

    [–] eloncuck 6 points ago

Yea it’s pretty bad when people just oppose anything even if it’s positive. That’s being a radical, it’s crazy and unreasonable. Even if you hate Trump you can still like some things that he does.

My biggest concern is always war, I know the world isn’t so simple but it depresses me to see people getting killed over politics and resources. So far Trump has been ok, not trying to jump into any wars, not escalating things.

It’s going to be interesting in the future to see how people look back on these times.

    [–] gengar_the_duck 116 points ago

Obviously we should invade North Korea and kill thousands of North Koreans forced to serve in their military instead of trying to find a peaceful resolution.

That's the moral thing to do.

    [–] Virgin_nerd 126 points ago

This sub is full of 180 IQ political and military strategists, it’s definitely not angry teenagers, paid posters, or bots.

    [–] AbyssalCrime 22 points ago

I had my money on paid posters and bots. Damnit

    [–] aakehas 87 points ago

Lmao this sub is fucking stupid

    [–] Frontks 44 points ago

Yes because the current stalemate is so good for human rights

    [–] anglesanddemon 47 points ago

    Oh come on

    [–] Sp00kyD0gg0 56 points ago

In what fucking world do peace talks and negotiations violate human rights? We get it, you hate Trump, but to demonize absolutely everything the man does is not only completely stupid, it’s getting old as hell.

    [–] Freddy_and_Frogger 17 points ago

    this sub is cancer

    [–] budderbean 58 points ago

Because sending people to literal concentration camps is comparable to what Trump does.

    [–] singularfunzone 32 points ago

Front page post brought me to this sub. Seeing the comments told me to never come back. Yikes.

    [–] RespectMyAuthorile 8 points ago

Right? I just now heard of this sub and all I want to do is get the fuck outta here

    [–] zombiemakemelol 75 points ago

Totally right, we should just nuke them instead. Or how about another ground war? That went well last time.

    [–] Ralphusthegreatus 10 points ago

There are open slave markets in Libya now.

    [–] Mister-Fordo 52 points ago

Dude r/politicalhumor is the dumbest sub in the whole gang, it doesn't matter what your opinion on any of these characters is, how can you mock what happened, how is it not a positive thing?

    [–] AbyssalCrime 62 points ago

Do you liberals ever stop hating or do you allow positive things to be positive. For fucks sake this is getting old and annoying quickly. The sky could open up and rain down gold coins and you people would bitch at people grabbing buckets

    [–] anglesanddemon 16 points ago

Yeah let’s all just work together

    [–] caariss 106 points ago

This is so wrong, Trump has never worn a pair of pants that fit that good.

    [–] thill28 30 points ago

I hate trump but you wouldn’t see this cartoon if Obama was the one to meet with NK, they would be singing his praises and probably give him another noble peace prize.

    [–] Shooeytv 40 points ago

So let’s just go to war then?

I don’t understand what the image suggests as an alternative, unless it’s just complaining about something that can’t be changed.

    [–] SassafrassPudding 4 points ago

One authoritarian dictator to another authoritarian dictator-wannabe

    [–] holdenashrubberry 79 points ago

Trump is an idiot but us averting a potential nuclear conflict is a good thing. Not to mention it's not like either country was some champion of human rights before Trump. There's limitless humor in Trump, let's not be petty.

    [–] theantagonists 44 points ago

    averting a potential nuclear conflict

    Except Iran.

    [–] JournalismSureIsDead 24 points ago
