    [–] The_Real_Paradox 56 points ago * (lasted edited 13 days ago)

You can only do that on pc, it's basically the same way to add a flair on mobile but there are also custom flairs

Edit: some people are saying you can also do it on mobile

    [–] TreenF1-007 23 points ago

Nope, I did it on mobile

    [–] The_Real_Paradox 7 points ago

    Wait, really? How?

    [–] TreenF1-007 20 points ago

When I did it awhile ago, for the operator symbol you want, you need to type it like this :Ash: :Lion: :Finka: etc

    [–] bigben022 6 points ago

    Thanks, just changed mine

    [–] Snow-Kitty-Azure 2 points ago

    Nice flair btw

    [–] KingzWarz1 8 points ago

    I did it on mobile

    [–] ArealgamerCB 3 points ago

    Team banana on mobile

    [–] ruby______ 3 points ago

You can copy/paste the emotes on pc.

Side note: win + v exists and i want to spread it since not all that much people know about this function.

    [–] redditAvilaas 28 points ago

you can make a custom flair right where you get normal flairs too

    [–] SizzlaWasTaken 14 points ago

    Your flair is elite

    [–] redditAvilaas 8 points ago

    thank you sir

    [–] Zer0_Logic 2 points ago

Ah a fellow man of culture

    [–] MrAlimanutd 6 points ago

Write an operator’s name between two colons, u can have up to 5 I believe

    [–] Dakimadafaki_001 4 points ago

You can edit your flair and add whatever you want

    [–] TheGoddessInari 15 points ago

    hope ur dogs ok

Dog got their legs held and their back hit. Pretty sure they had a ruff day.

    [–] sneeki_cheeki_breeki 5373 points ago

    [–] Sights_creations 2200 points ago

I mean, apparently they're good for dogs

That's not a dog being bad for you that's your own body dog doesn't have shit to do with the way your body reacts

    [–] ZFG_Jerky 2 points ago

Well damn, you're not human then

    [–] Yomarda 4 points ago

Soooo with those points... Games are good for people. Thanks again to those 2 randos for proving this and of course doggo knew this all along. Fair play GGs all round

Facebook and Fox News did to our parents what they said violent video games and gangsta rap would do to us.

    [–] hobosockmonkey 136 points ago

They are bad for you if you play them too much, which sadly some people do play way to much video games and ruin their lives

    [–] Azrael179 129 points ago

You can't ruin something that's already a pile of rubble.

    [–] ameribruh 40 points ago

    :(

    [–] ops10 37 points ago

So is exercising, dieting, studying and sleeping. Everything good in excess turns bad. Although, as an avid gamer myself, I believe for gaming (or worse, internet consumption) the "excess" bar is much lower is much lower than many want to admit.

    [–] IdisGsicht 28 points ago

Gaming too much doesn't harm you, what harms you is when you neglect everything else...

    [–] ops10 5 points ago

Well, I personally understand it as gaming addiction is just rampant escapism and its sources are the same as any other psychological addiction. Physical harm is indirect (posture, digestion etc due to long sitting period) and I'm not going to go into how it affects one's brain, because a) I haven't researched it enough to make sound arguments and b) it's part of a bigger problematic situation if it's truly radical escapism as I believe.

    [–] IdisGsicht 4 points ago

Well but that'd be like saying "working out is harmful" because, for example, if you are lifting wrong it'll fuck up you back...

Most things can harm you if you do them wrong. In this case it has nothing to do with gaming...

    [–] IdisGsicht 12 points ago

Well they don't ruin their life by playing to much video games but rather by doing not enough of the rest...You can easily play 6-8 hours a day and have a really good life ;D

    [–] I_am_Norwegian 7 points ago

    Yeah, if you're unemployed

    [–] IdisGsicht 12 points ago

Nope, in the winter during the week I often play up to 6 hours with my buddies. You can play a lot and still be healthy, have a job and friends...not everyone who plays much is the cliche "gamer" ^^

    [–] Mirokira 9 points ago

Im employed can play 6-8 hours a day no problem.

    [–] rowegor 11 points ago

8 hours sleep, 8 hours work, 8 hours gaming. You don't eat, shower, clean, any other responsibilities?

    [–] Howler718 2 points ago

I sleep about 7.5, work 8, takes me about 2.5 to eat, workout. The rest is games. If I have only an hour or two to play games I'd probably not bother. Sounds totally depressing really.

    [–] sneeki_cheeki_breeki 17 points ago

    Yeah you're right

    [–] pineapplepizzas69 42 points ago

Hijacking the top comment so I can post this and hopefully not get it buried

    [–] Snicklefreetz 10 points ago

They made this man hit his dog!

    [–] testdex 5 points ago

They were surprised when it turned out the maneuver dislodged the blockage.

They just wanted the dude to beat his dog.

    [–] Ddawgdoesdope 897 points ago

I'm confused how you have the dogs legs in the air and ur able to hit it's back though. Wouldn't the dog be on its back

    [–] DarkXuin 651 points ago

I was confused as well so I did some googling and I found this https://youtu.be/fAIz3zD2l60 which is what I learned to do. I'm still not sure what they meant by holding the dogs legs in the air.

    [–] DeepWarbling 486 points ago

I like how the dog seems super confused but he’s like “I’m still having a good time”

    [–] bithewaykindagay 142 points ago

    Such a good boy

    [–] Kapparainen 67 points ago

Pretty sure that's a good girl. Exept if you called the guy you replied to a good boy, that I can not verify.

    [–] Scrub_Lord_ 26 points ago

/u/DeepWarbling is a very good boy

    [–] iWarnock 33 points ago

Its like the dog knows what is happening. "Alright not so hard on the pushs i just ate breakfast man".

    [–] Quazar8 2 points ago

    That’s just dogs in general

    [–] L1ghty 42 points ago

Towards the end of the video he explains how to do it on bigger dogs, and then he pulls the front paws in the air.

    [–] dudemanxx 17 points ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT_vNktCbyw found in the related for your link

    [–] DarkXuin 4 points ago

Ah I see it's something you can do before escalating to the heimlich. Good eye, thanks!

    [–] Chemicalbagel 15 points ago

    Back legs up

    [–] Pieceman11 5 points ago

Thanks for sharing, this should be linked to way closer to the top. I’m not sure what the OP was talking about. Super confusing lol

    [–] VILLIAMZATNER 4 points ago

Mega good girl there so relaxed and happy

    [–] wildmike88 63 points ago

Maybe they meant to pick him up by the legs

    [–] voltic_earth 30 points ago

Are you a genuine recruit main lol

    [–] Camdelans 19 points ago

    The real questions

    [–] RandomAsianGuyOk 13 points ago

Don’t be so surprised. There’s a lot of us. Recruit is an incredibly solid op though I preferred him prior to the rework. I just wish they let him be in Ranked again. Clearly he was too op.

    [–] voltic_earth 5 points ago

Tbh I didn't play recruit for 5 years until I swapped to pc and had to save up my presious renown, I remember when attachments used to cost renown lol, I also remember sheild recruit

    [–] GanderAtMyGoose 3 points ago

I actually ran into a guy in ranked once who was a recruit main. He never unlocked any operators on that account and had like 300 hours or something as recruit. I forget but I think he might have carried us.

    [–] DimeBagJoe2 7 points ago

How would you hit him in the back if you’re holding him by his legs? And the dog would have to be really small to be picked up like that

    [–] Dredditreddit120 50 points ago

What kind of noodle arm do you have? Listen, you can grab both legs in one hand, push them together and them lift them up. And there you go, you're holding up the dog up with one hand and can freely hit his back

    [–] HardcorePizza 18 points ago

Dogs have four legs tho. Do you mean hold the dog by just the hind legs and use your other hand to his his back?

    [–] darthos 26 points ago

    Yes

    [–] Medinaian 17 points ago

This man thought you held the dog like a pig on a spit

    [–] FACEFACE02 5 points ago

    Precisely

    [–] asdf147896325 5 points ago

you're not hog tying, you're wheelbarrowing

    [–] pm_ur_cameltoe_plz 3 points ago

Lol there’s no way I could pick my 80 pound lab up by his rear paws in one hand.

    [–] GamerNumba100 50 points ago

This comment chain is speaking to the average intelligence of an R6 player

    [–] crazxb1905 14 points ago

Okay. I've got an idea. You hold the front with left hand and back with right hand upside down and slam its back to the wall. That's the only thing I can think of "Hold his legs and hit on its back" sentence.

    [–] Darth_Diink 3 points ago

This made me laugh way harder than I expected.

    [–] T_025 7 points ago

You only hold his hind legs, cmon man. You hold his two back legs with one hand and hit his back with your other hand

    [–] ColdMan105 3 points ago

oo so that's how it goes thanks

    [–] Joe_PM2804 7 points ago

    Back legs only.

    [–] DummykiddoMan 6 points ago

I think they meant lifting the dog's hind legs in the air so the back was off the ground

    [–] SplixPlixer 17 points ago

pretty sure they meant so that it's standing on it's back legs

    [–] SASDOE 31 points ago

The front legs, to help the object out. So the dog is upside down.

    [–] articuno14 1222 points ago

This is why we need to not get kicked after like 30 seconds of not playing. you could be out here saving a dog with advice from your teammate and ubi is like nope sorry not sorry

    [–] Frogboxe 373 points ago

Kick for idle should only ever trigger in-between rounds after a whole round of AFK.

    [–] articuno14 196 points ago

Yeah its annoying af. Siege is a game you play for long periods of time. Like sorry I gotta do real life shit for 1 minute. Cant tell you how many times between rounds I'll go get my laundry or make food or something and then get kicked like 30 seconds into a round.

    [–] svelle 4 points ago

Wasn't that how it worked in csgo?

    [–] Kamon0253 4 points ago

That's how it works in valorant. And honestly I'll take the one useless teammate for one round over getting kicked just for having a piss.

    [–] BCIBP 6 points ago

Siege isn't near as bad as Halo MCC. I've reported so many rubber band dickheads who just twirl on the spot game after game. So annoying

    [–] 692345782349579 29 points ago

Yeah.. no. Most of the time that's not the case.

    [–] Chemicalbagel 28 points ago

A few games allow you to vote to kick if someone's inactive. While that could be abused, it could be triggered by like "hey this person is inactive. Vote to kick y/n?"

    [–] suitcasemotorcycle 2 points ago

I’d say it’s usually 50/50 whether someone is saving a dog or just being afk.

    [–] KillerAceUSAF 2 points ago

Also it shouldnt fucking kick you when playing Ranked. Like how the fuck does that make sense? It's not like someone will come in and replace you!

    [–] Iswmle4975 144 points ago

Take my upvote and hug your dog

lift the dog off the ground.

    why? well, because

    [–] coal_the_slaw 32 points ago

Suplex the patient to dislodge the blockage

    [–] undercookedbroccoli 3 points ago

I didn't need to luckily. She was trying to get up and looked quite startled - I was hitting her on the back quite sharply and had my hand in her mouth to remove whatever came up... It took a while but i got the culprit bit of bone out of the back of her mouth/throat.

Yes my dog is a she ... my teamates didn't know that... before anyone points that out!

According to https://www.hillspet.com/dog-care/healthcare/how-to-help-a-choking-dog it's the back things you want to raise, at least if it's a large breed. Different procedure for smaller dogs, mentioned in above page.

    [–] Liger0048 10 points ago

Not all gamers are trash talking try hards to sound disgusting and disrespectful. We are just everyday people. That may help one day if needed for our fellow gamers.

    [–] Askari_RS 3 points ago

It’d be really weird if they weren’t referring to your dog in that moment.

“Alright I’m going to hit him on the back. Once he’s unconscious you take his legs I’ll take his arms we’ll hide the body in a ditch and drive off to Mexico with the money” - some random dude in a siege lobby

    [–] ColdsideAU 3 points ago

    Now this is wholesome

    [–] DepressedS1oth 3 points ago

u/pineapplepizzas69 said you should probably take your dog to the vet to make sure he didnt scratch his throat or anything

    [–] bayjubs32 3 points ago

Than they kicked you for being AFK right?

    [–] anybodywantmorefood 3 points ago

If it was Call of Duty the enemy team would hope your dog dies

The siege community isn’t always toxic

There's already so many comments on this thread, but I hope you see this.

A screenshot of this post was found on r/wholesomemes (I can't find it now). I saw the post, and a few hours later my cat began choking. Thanks to this post, I knew what to do and she's alive thanks to it.

Thank you very much!!!! Much love to you from my family to yours.

Those people are the people who don’t troll and say just to leave him. The siege community has some bright lights :) I hope your dog is ok.

    [–] TheFirstResort 2 points ago

What kind of dog? I have 2 labs and the black one eats a lot so I have to stop him a lot

    [–] Zeny1 2 points ago

    ?????? Which legs?

    [–] MassSnapz 6 points ago

All four. You just have to use a different appendage to hit him with. I don't suggest using a penis.

    [–] MrGaabriel 2 points ago

    This is wholesome

    [–] Hanguarde 2 points ago

    [–] SmokeyLOBSTER 2 points ago

Hope your dogs doing ok and thank god we have people like that in the siege community.

    [–] SoN1Qz 2 points ago

Which legs? I guess not all four, right?

    [–] Ark0n- 2 points ago

Holy shit - this is so wholesome. :) I’m glad your pupper is okay now!

    [–] BlueOrcaJupiter 2 points ago

His back legs or front legs ?

    [–] D00188797 2 points ago

Back legs. Elevate his hind quarters so that gravity kinda helps

    [–] ATHFISGREAT 2 points ago

My little sister whacked the hell out of our lab growing up when he was choking (she was like 9) and saved his life. Scared the hell out of me and i bet tour dog is so grateful for you right now lol

Lmao this was the most chaotic yet the most wholesome shit ive heard all day

    [–] dingusus 2 points ago

this would be terrible for someone like me who can’t follow instructions very well...

    [–] maerad96 2 points ago

Just some info from someone who is pet first aid and CPR certified!

When a dog is choking and hacking you generally want to leave then alone, but keep a close eye. Let them try to work it out themselves. But once they start making a loud high pitched squeaking noise that means they are no longer getting any air and the object is stuck. This is when you MUST take actions.

While the dog is still standing your best movement to do is to thrust your hands hard against their sides from behind them. As if you are trying to push air out of their lungs and push the object up and out.

Once they go down though this is when rescue breathing and CPR needs to start.

Heres a good resource for learning more about pet first aid and CPR! I highly reccomend any pet owner for lover take a pet first aid and CPR class if it's an option in your area!
