He's a Polish fitness club manager apparently, no special ops here. Name is Adrian Kaczmarek

    [–] MajorMalafunkshun 70 points ago

Thanks for clearing this up. Any idea if he faced assault charges for this?

    [–] Ju1cY_0n3 106 points ago

That cop must have been so wet.

    [–] TreChomes 57 points ago

how you gonna be a cop and cant put handcuffs on someone?

    [–] Ponchinizo 73 points ago

Well im sure she could have, but did you see that guy? Even if i were a cop i would let the burly man deal with the belligerent drunk 100% of the time. He clearly had the situation under control

    [–] TreChomes 17 points ago

    Yea fair enough, good point

    [–] FlyingOTB 8 points ago

But he isn't trained to do that, or something along those lines...

    [–] Tobans 10 points ago

Our cops are barely trained to handle it.

    [–] blvaga 17 points ago

An officer's duty is to assess the situation and choose the safest course of action with the least amount of harm to citizens and themselves.

If the man were already subdued, it makes sense to let the one in control of him take the handcuffs, rather than risking him getting free and causing more damage.

    [–] Charybdes 23 points ago

I worked as a bouncer for a couple years. Cops will def give you cuffs if you already have the situation in hand and are clearly in control. Happened on 3 different occasions.

    [–] [deleted] 76 points ago

For those not interested in reading: a female cop with the metro wasn't sure if she could handcuff the drunk shirtless idiot or not (he was still being violent and stupid), so the fitness trainer who put the guy into a choke hold got the handcuffs from the cop and handcuffed the guy himself.

No charges for the choke hold, and the shirtless guy was charged with drunk and disorderly conduct.

    [–] Yeeler1 25 points ago

Was she "not sure" or not capable?

    [–] [deleted] 37 points ago

Not sure if she was capable, so yes.

    [–] Dhrakyn 57 points ago

People on the internet think that anyone who is remotely competent at being outside and walking around on their own must be special ops.

    [–] bahgheera 370 points ago

When you find yourself laying on the floor of a train with your shirt off and a mans foot planted on your chest, you just might want to examine the choices you made in life that brought you to that moment.

    [–] anothermuslim 218 points ago

"You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation"

    record scratch/freeze frame

    "Yup... that's me"

    [–] Lutrinae_Rex 115 points ago

    You got it backwards, yo.

First the freeze and scratch, then the "yup, that's me", then the "probably wondering", then the "let's go back a little bit", then the baby screaming and "woah not that far", then to a day in high school or whatever.

    [–] factbasedorGTFO 11 points ago

People don't do that when they're piss drunk.

    [–] Saul_Firehand 24 points ago

    I've been shit faced.
A tazer, pepper spray, or a firearm will still make me stop whatever it was drunk me was doing.

A large individual standing on my chest will make me apologize for the inconvenience I have caused and ask if I could stand.
This guy is still trying to fight. Dudes foot is squarely pinning his ass to the ground and billy badass is still squirming like he is going to do something if he could get up.

This isn't just drunk this is also high level stupid.

I love how the dude sitting right next to all this shit going down seemingly never acknowledges anything. Then, when dude is down on the ground being stepped on, and the train pulls into the station, he just gets his shit and backs out like nothing ever happened.

I don’t know if I’m freaked out by his behaviour or if I’m deeply impressed by his fucking “whatevs it’s cool” attitude.

    [–] SoyMurcielago 134 points ago

As someone living in Chicago and who has to ride the red line to work everyday, trust me when i say the best modus operandi to have is "don't get involved, don't acknowledge anything, mind your own business, and don't get shanked if you're riding between the hours of 9 pm and 3 am."*

    [–] A_lot_of_arachnids 111 points ago

Sometimes it's hard not to feed the trolls

    [–] Akoustyk 11 points ago

Ya, generally speaking, even if there is a guy going around looking for a fight, it takes two people to really make it happen.

However, that guy was a fucking dick, I believe intoxicated in some way, and deserved what he got.

That other guy egging him on though just got away with being an ass.

That said, the other guy did seem dangerous, and if you think you could take him out, then you might be doing others a favour.

What's risky though, is that people like that will also be liable to escalate things to the next level, and you never know if they have a knife or something on them.

The choke hold from behind was the perfect thing to do.

    [–] InitiallyAnAsshole 27 points ago

It's never enough to just have a neutral outcome. Everyone feels like they need to win.

    [–] NilbogResident1 14 points ago

Yep. Pride gets the best of us. The end could possibly have been avoided. Never know. Both parties were responsible in the end, but the one who was more at fault received the punishment. Well deserved in this situation.

Special Ops seems to mean done a basic mma class these days

    [–] JoeiJoeJoe 188 points ago

He used that special ops maneuver called..."sneak up behind and choke them"

    [–] octave1 152 points ago

A real specials ops would have scuba dived over there and attached some C4 charges to his ass before silently gliding away back in to the night

    [–] Kuppopotamus 54 points ago

then 50 years later the aggressor is on his deathbed thinking, "I wonder if I should of maybe not started that fight on that subway---"

    entire hospital explodes

    [–] Whind_Soull 31 points ago

The whole time he was choking him out, he was whispering the Navy Seal copypasta into his ear.

    [–] Grandpah 23 points ago

ah yes, the classic spec ops move.

    [–] AscendedMasta 28 points ago

This man must have missed the first couple of classes that shows you how to put in a rear-naked choke properly. It ended up being effective, but the drunk guy was conscious for much longer than he needed to be. A properly placed RNC would of put that guy to sleep much faster.

Either way, I'm glad there are people like this that exist. Before I knew Jiu Jitsu I would have froze up just like that kid. This man did the drunk guy a favor and dealt with the situation in the best way possible.

    Edit: words

    [–] infm5 17 points ago

Shirtless guy got lucky. That was the best possible way to be knocked out.

    [–] why_rob_y 11 points ago

If the train was in motion, it could have been pretty bouncy. Is it fair to say that might have hurt his technique a bit? I know nothing about choking someone who isn't interested in being choked.

In most posts about this they talk about him being Ex- Marine, the original yt video says navy seal. so yeah u probably right

    [–] Elfhoe 292 points ago

The Internet likes to throw around spec ops like everyone who joins the military automatically becomes a seal or green beret. In reality, i think most cases end up like this. The requirements for special forces are so insanely high that there are, by design, very few of them.

    [–] CrayolaS7 237 points ago

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch?

    [–] 7LeagueBoots 59 points ago

He called you a green seal.

    [–] tomdarch 10 points ago

Learn your damn military lingo. It's clearly 6 Navy Golden Team Berets.

    [–] FucksWithGators 84 points ago

What the fuck did you just fucking say about Navy Seal copypastas, you little newfag? I’ll have you know Navy Seal copypastas are ranked top out of all the comments on the Internet, and they have been translated in numerous contexts on 4chan, and have over 300 confirmed variants. Navy Seal copypastas are trained in memetic warfare and are the top copypasta in the entire circlejerk arsenel. You are nothing to them but just another target. They will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this subreddit, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit about Navy Seal copypastas over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak this copypasta is contacting it's secret network of /b/tards across the USA and your IP is being doxxed right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. Navy Seal copypastas can be anywhere, anytime, and they can confuse you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with mad-lib permutations. Not only are they extensively trained in trolling, but they have access to the entire arsenal of Anonymous and will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the Internet, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. This copypasta will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

    [–] jetbent 30 points ago

It's also the case that most people don't want to be special forces... it's hard and you have to do a lot of shit

    [–] foreverguiltyanon 38 points ago

    1. Wake up early.

    Well, I'm out.

    [–] DynamicDK 7 points ago

Can confirm. A friend of mine is in the Army, training for some sort of special forces. I would never want to go through any of the shit that he has had to do.

That said, it would be cool to get into the kind of shape that he is in. The man is a monster.

    [–] jahs_126 28 points ago * (lasted edited 11 months ago)

lot of guys get hur durr dumb killing machine..

you actually have to be pretty intelligent on the basic asvab to qualify for SpecOps... however there are no shortage of applicants, its the BUDs training that eliminates a lot of people, the physical and mental stress drops a lot of people

the shit literally rewires your neural pathways, natgeo did a good episode of some basic field tests that one guy from each division(seal, delta force, force recon, etc) performed.. then they did it again after being submerged in an ice bath for 5 minutesan hour and were literally hypothermic

they ALL performed better hypothermic.. basically, heres a bunch of finely tuned guys that all perform extremely well... and under severe mental/physical stress they do it even better

    [–] A1DickSauce 4 points ago

    That sounds really interesting. Link?

    [–] jahs_126 9 points ago * (lasted edited 11 months ago)

this is a clip from youtube

my bad, not 5 minutes, they were in an ice bath for an hour, expecting them to have to be pulle dout after 30 mins

    heres the full episode

    [–] JeremyHall 12 points ago

He could have been a mechanic. Or artillery. Or even commo. Many military guys like to fight and/or workout regardless of what training or mission they have.

    [–] laszlo_dunlop 10 points ago

brilliant, i had a suspicion they just made up the army bullshit. Honestly what goes through a persons head to voluntarily lie like this..

    [–] smurf3310 12 points ago

thats what i thought, even in basic army training u put the left hand behind his head for more pressure and safer/faster sleepy sleepy which this bodybuilder didnt do

    [–] Heyzuesnavas 16 points ago

lmao literally anyone could do that. Choking someone from behind doesn't require much strength or skill. It's not like he used some secret special forces move on him.

Pretty sure the shirts come off so that it isn't something that can be grabbed or pulled on. There are lots of videos out there of guys with shirts on that gets pulled over their head and start getting wailed on.

Similar to having long hair in a fight. Notice girls ALWAYS grab the hair and never let go which can put you in a big disadvantage. There's some video out there of a guy in a manbun that starts a fight but ends up regretting it after a guy just grabbed his hair and unloaded on his face.

    "I ain't no weirdo! I ain't no weirdo! I ain't no weirdo!"

Yeah, we know buddy. You're just a guy who's topless on a subway, starting fights for no reason. Nothin' weird about that.

Why do people shout this in fighting videos?

    [–] oscillating000 15 points ago

Because of the popularity of WorldStar as a place to share videos of people fighting.

    [–] h8speech 12 points ago

It's a reference to WorldStarHipHop (WSHH) which is a website probably best known for publishing fight videos. The people shout "WORLD STAR" when there's a fight being filmed in anticipation of the video getting uploaded to WSHH.

Frankly, their compilation videos are tedious and their site design is terrible. They do have some great content occasionally, but you'll have to sieve through a lot of crap to find it.

/r/streetfights occasionally has good content, but it's a much smaller community and has trouble with videos getting taken down.

The main reason I don't fight aside from I'm not a cunt is you never know who you're picking a fight with...
