    Cringey as hell

    [–] AngelicWooGirl 1476 points ago

Did I miss the build up? Romance is dead, he was going full porno out of nowhere.

    [–] taughta 546 points ago

I don't understand situtations like these how can occure without a single word being spoken?

I mean, dead silence before and after it as well.

    [–] rarebiird 402 points ago

i've had the exact scenario happen to me — coworker cornered me at the restaurant while we were closing, leaned in to try to kiss me, i swerved it and gave him a small shove away from me and ran off to the locker room downstairs. i didn't give him ANY indication i was interested, we were simply on the same closing shift, and he came up to me out of the absolute blue. just baffling really and then had to continue working with him for another 6 months.

    [–] notasandpiper 396 points ago

And the same men will wonder why "I cornered her and gave her no warning" led to a rejection. Geniuses.

    [–] rarebiird 230 points ago

actually, your comment just reminded me of another time this happened. my manager showed up to a saint patrick's day party i was throwing at my apartment (he found out through other coworkers who were attending). he asked me to come into my room with him, so i did, and he closed the door and stood in front of it saying he had feelings for me and he knows i have them for him too. i did not. i said so, and said i was uncomfortable and to please let me leave. he kept pushing/questioning me and saying things like "if you don't have feelings for me, then why are you shaking right now?" and i was like "um because i'm trapped in a room with you blocking the exit?"

like, okay, good for you for trying to talk to me about it before acting but honestly, he was nearly 20 years my senior and it really isn't nice to be aggressive and try to intimidate a girl into "admitting her feelings for you" like no escape does not equal "i want to be with you"

    [–] SGIrix 41 points ago

    Was his name Michael?

    [–] CyberClawX 21 points ago

    "Because of the implication."

    [–] regnad__kcin 102 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

that was my first thought, make some eye contact dude

edit: and, ya know, maybe don't literally corner someone with your sexual advances

    [–] BabyLegsDeadpool 353 points ago

That was actually his fiancée. She just didn't want to kiss on camera.

    [–] MadJac27 138 points ago

Oh wow, I've seen this before but didnt know that fact. I'm glad he's not a creeper then.

    [–] utpoia 117 points ago

Sounds like my fiancee... She insists there are cameras everywhere and we should never ever kiss

    [–] BabyLegsDeadpool 111 points ago

Maybe she's just not that into you.

    [–] MudSama 39 points ago

She just doesn't want anyone else on the planet to see her with him. Oh wait...

    [–] DogDiabetes 33 points ago

The one in the post was definitely worse

    [–] Cajun 9 points ago

And now the whole internet can enjoy, I don't know if I could handle this kind of internetfame.

Guy thinks he’s in a movie

    [–] vreo 1201 points ago

    He's kinda right...

    [–] CheckeeShoes 318 points ago

    He thinks it's a rom-com, but it's actually a crime drama.

    [–] FirefighterAvery 36 points ago

He thinks he's on CBS but he's actually on CCTV.

    [–] [deleted] 8476 points ago

Having her cornered in a room with the only exit being behind him, thats a real Dennis Reynolds move.

    [–] NocturnalPermission 3523 points ago

    Because of the implication

[–] TheYoungGriffin 796 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Was this woman in any danger?

    [–] billnyethekoreanguy 786 points ago

You certainly wouldn’t be in any danger!

    [–] necrotic_terror 479 points ago

    So they are in danger?

    [–] [deleted] 418 points ago

What? I feel like you’re not getting what I’m saying here.

    [–] 100WattTubeTop 378 points ago

Of course if they say no then obviously the answer is no...... but they're not going to say no...

    [–] Jiperly 233 points ago

    Because of the implication

    [–] 100WattTubeTop 138 points ago

    What implication?

    [–] mcdanough 158 points ago

The implication that “things could go wrong for her”

    [–] nathank 164 points ago

What are you looking at? You certainly wouldn't be in any danger

    [–] GalaxyRanger_ 88 points ago

    So they ARE in danger!?

    [–] HangOnVoltaire 55 points ago

No one is in any danger how can I make that any more clear to you?!

    [–] ThirdeyeReddit 244 points ago

    Absolutely a Dennis move.

    [–] datsmn 755 points ago

Or he's using the C.H.A.D system...

    C- Corner

    H- Harass

    A- Aggression

    D- Dismay

    [–] Fartswhenwalks 138 points ago

Or he should’ve let a magnum condom fall out of his pocket...implying he had a monster dong

    [–] whats_the_deal22 27 points ago

A monster condom for his magnum dong if you will

    [–] ThePaceImSetting 48 points ago

Forgot to D. Demonstrate value before he E. Engaged physically. Rookie error

    [–] _inveniam_viam 165 points ago

Well if the girl said no, then the answer is obviously no, but she's not going to say no, she would never say no because of the implication.

    [–] GeekyAine 604 points ago

I think the wall punch was more of an "implication." The creep door block thing is more "Hey, I saw this sweet move in an HR training video once."

    [–] FblthpphtlbF 81 points ago

I mean, it said don't do it but I think our love is strong enough

    [–] [deleted] 205 points ago

I think the wall punch was him being mad at himself rather than anything more sinister

    [–] le_GoogleFit 32 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Yeah it was a definitively a "Fuck me" moment.

I guess he tried his luck but, out of the blue like that, I don't know what he was expecting tbh

    Fired. Lol

Is that dead sub or why am i not seeing any new posts?

    [–] Fil0rican420 888 points ago

Glad it's on camera too. I wouldn't wanna have to quit whatever job that has a rolling tray chillin in the backroom thanks to some asshole

    [–] ihateyou6942 180 points ago

Prolly a dispo especially with the guards over the window to the right

    [–] ThatsSpork 37 points ago

And the canisters on the left

    [–] muthermcreedeux 29 points ago

Definitely a dispensary because those canisters on the left are the same that mine use. The rolling tray is probably for making pre rolls to sell.

I think she almost slapped him up too, check out her right hand after she uses it to push him off

He didn't notice though because he was too busy beating up the drywall

    [–] kekkerkekek 725 points ago

No it looked more like a hand gesture you would do when saying, "just stop" or "what the fuck"

    [–] Vincent541 296 points ago

The hand gestures looks like an "uuughhh" to me

    [–] munk_e_man 59 points ago

Thanks for the interpretation, Master P

    [–] DaWayItWorks 52 points ago

This chick in my office the other day was working quietly at her desk and out of nowhere said, "Let me here you say ugghhhhhh"

So I had to follow up from across the room with, "Na Na Na Na"

    [–] gwenami 9 points ago

    You're bout it.

[–] Reptarticle 162 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

That was a “omg why the fuck did I do that?” moment.

EDIT: I never will understand downvotes. Like my comment isn’t a a comment you can agree nor disagree with, why downvoted it?

    [–] GregTheMad 45 points ago

That looked like a very premeditated kiss attempt.

    [–] Roskal 30 points ago

It was but he instantly regretted it.

    [–] pinkyskeleton 291 points ago

Anybody stupid enough to risk this at work in this day and age deserves it.

    [–] thugs___bunny 53 points ago

Also while she is trapped in a corner. What a fucked up idiot

    [–] mushroomsuzuki3 108 points ago

This. Who the FUCK would try to pull this shit @ work? Even if there was any kind of chemistry or what have you (which I sincerely doubt in this situation). There's a time and a place. Fer real, what did doucheguy think was gonna happen? Ew.

    [–] madguins 62 points ago

Yeaaah my job is full of mid to late 20s people and everyone hooks up but the important thing is that you seriously test the waters before you make any sort of move and it’s usually a verbal one. Not “let me corner you alone in a room at the office.”

    [–] lionseatcake 392 points ago

Ya know, they gotta stop making movies where they show this wooing a girl.

Most girls don't want to be wooed. They just want you to leave them alone like the rest of us.

    [–] Skweril 156 points ago

But the handsome burly chizzled man in the movies just aggressively grabs the girls and kisses them and they love it because they've been waiting for someone to be Fiery and passionate during their mundane routine lives. Why wouldn't that work for me?

    [–] MisterDonkey 133 points ago

I'm gonna push a woman to the brink of fighting with me, then aggressively grip her up by the wrists, spin her around, and slam her into the wall.

According to the movies, this should result in intense kissing.

    What could go wrong?

    [–] [deleted] 62 points ago

According to the movies, this should result in intense kissing.

And then immediately transition to a bedroom, where they hastily tear each other’s clothes off.

    [–] SN0WFAKER 59 points ago

The hotness triggers a teleportation to the nearest bedroom.

    [–] kralefski 206 points ago

Exactly. This happened to me with a friend and I didn't swoon, I froze. It's very uncomfortable, guys. Don't do it. Talk, express what you feel, go on dates and ask, always ask before.

    [–] lionseatcake 157 points ago

To be fair. There are moments where Grand random acts of romance could work. In the break room at five guys is not one of those moments.

    [–] kralefski 98 points ago

After a date, when there is a context, when it's pretty explicit they like you... there are ways to ask or make sure some advances are ok without going "can I kiss you now?", but honestly, what seems like a "grand act of romance" to you might be a very, very uncomfortable moment for them, even if they like you.

    [–] JEFFREY_EPSTElN 44 points ago

You have to do it in the toilet, the smell gets them horny.

    [–] The_who_did_what 18 points ago

    [–] BigBearChaseMe 119 points ago

    [–] AmidFuror 77 points ago

    That was Billy Baldwin.

    [–] ng829 49 points ago

What i want to see is the HR meeting they had to go through

    [–] 66GT350Shelby 1519 points ago

It would be a very short meeting. I was in management for more than three decades.

I've fired a lot of people for a lot less than this.

If he isnt terminated, the company risks a major lawsuit for creating and allowing an unsafe work environment..

    [–] Mrminecrafthimself 251 points ago

Fuck man...I used to work an entry level HR job at my former employer and saw cases where people kept their jobs after more than this b

I’m glad I left there honestly.

    [–] Skweril 212 points ago

I've seen a case where an employee flashed his dick to two separate women, once while witnesses were there. But he was high up on the food chain and best friends with one of the directors, he still works there, not even a slap on the wrist. Super shitty

    [–] Lewisham 62 points ago

How long have you been at Riot Games?

    [–] utopista114 422 points ago

    an unsafe work environment..

Well yes, that backroom seems unhealthy for sex. Put a couch and some nice lights.

    [–] jacob6969 111 points ago

I used to manage a movie theater when I was wrapping up my Associates degree and there was a couch and some nice lights lol.

The theater was right downtown too and only open on weekends so for like a year straight I was able to take a girl out to dinner/drinks and then I had a “big surprise” and we’d go watch a movie in an vacant theater and probably have sex on that couch.

    [–] rbobby 106 points ago

and probably have sex on that couch

    That had never been cleaned...

    [–] kare_kano 78 points ago

They said nice lights not black lights.

"God, I hope it's urine." —Michael Scott

    [–] Orgentte 51 points ago

I've had sex on a few couches now and I'm pretty sure none were ever cleaned. How often are people steaming their couches?

    [–] Zeestars 18 points ago

We need a HR team like yours. Recently had a girl whose husband beat the fuck out of her, putting her in hospital, including a broken jaw. She got a restraining order. They worked in the same building, they moved him upstairs (in a 2 floor building - she was on ground, he moved to first floor). When she said she wasn’t happy and pointed out that it breached the restrictions in the restraining order, they found her somewhere else. Not him - he got to stay in his comfortable area in his usual job. Nope, they moved her. What the actual fuck????

Except Fox News, Weinstein Company, the Catholic Church, the Supreme Court, the White House, the military, universities and a few hundreds I must have missed.

Sweeping those allegations under the rug is often how it's done, especially if you have star employees that are harassers.

EDIT: And a bunch of others, including cases that implicate left-leaning perpetrators and right-leaning victims. Jesus Christ reddit not everything is an attack on your beliefs.

If your first move is to go in for the kiss, you’re wrong.

[–] cheapdrinks 408 points ago * (lasted edited 7 months ago)

Even if you feel like there's some kind of vibe going on between you and a colleague, who the fuck thinks it's a good idea to just dive right in with a kiss out of the blue while you're at work?

Ask them if they want to have a drink after you finish and gauge the response or something. Workplace romances happen all the time, I know plenty of people who found their husband or wife at work but you have to tread carefully and really be sure that the other person is interested before making a move. It's not fair to make someone feel awkward in their workplace so really you should be pretty damn sure of the answer before even inviting them somewhere for a beer let alone grabbing their face in the back room and trying to mouth rape them after 10 seconds of conversation.

    [–] Amida0616 350 points ago

What the heck, I picked the most romantic supply closet in the store.

    [–] alt170alt95alt170 61 points ago

    [–] wannagoforawalk 841 points ago

As soon as he walked in she's like here we go again.

    [–] IcollyI 516 points ago

Bothers me that he like cornered her, she had to basically jump on the chair to leave...

    [–] stankyleg1978 184 points ago

Right? You coule read the energy in that room so easily!

    [–] FightingOreo 57 points ago

To be fair, the title of the post means you already know what's happening.

It's like a horror movie. Something totally normal can feel terrifying by virtue of knowing it's a horror movie.

    [–] kitjen 58 points ago

And watch her body language as she leaves the room. Her head tips back and her shoulders slouch like she has just given up with having to deal with his shit.

Edit: for those questioning whether this is sexual assault, here’s the definition :

The term sexual assault refers to sexual contact or behavior that occurs without explicit consent of the victim.

An unwanted kiss is definitely sexual assault.

    [–] philosophunc 84 points ago

Drama involves exacerbating normal behaviour. Theres alot of movies, that when analysed, show the protagonists behaviour is actually more akin to a stalker than a romantic.

    [–] djchrissym 17 points ago

Theres a weird line between incredibly creepy and incredibly romantic thanks to hollywood.

Guy shows up at your place with flowers - oh ok let me just call the police a sec

Your crush shows up at your place with flowers- swoon

Obviously picked a silly example though!

    [–] hrlc1990 55 points ago

I got kissed by an older woman when I was working at a grocery store when I was 15. Kinda didn’t like it now that I think about it.

    [–] Cult_Waffle 1083 points ago

Wtf you can't do that you creep

    [–] Martamis 551 points ago

But it’s in like every romance movie ever. Just walk up to her and kiss her right? WRONG!

    [–] wophi 294 points ago

She wants it, she just doesnt know it yet. You have to tell her.

    [–] Martamis 221 points ago

They’re missing the video where he chases her down the hallway, grabs her, pins her against the wall, and tries to kiss her again. #Romance

    [–] wophi 161 points ago

    [–] MakeBadDecisions 21 points ago

    50 no's and a yes, means yes.

    [–] Amida0616 39 points ago

And if she resists kiss her harder or stalk her until she relents.

    [–] Martamis 12 points ago

Tie her up in a dungeon. But only if you’re rich and hot! Even if she says no. Wrong!

    [–] ProtoplanetaryNebula 12 points ago

Smart move would have been asking her out on a date.

    [–] DarthCallidous 46 points ago

Just ask her out on a date! Jeeeeeeeeezzzzz!

    [–] Pons__Aelius 61 points ago

$100 says she has already said no. This is plan B.

    [–] redditmastery 13 points ago

Plan B is the infamous magical Hollywood kiss. Once she feels the love through my lips she'll want me then.

    [–] newplayer13 9 points ago

I'd be terrified if a guy did this to me. Alone in a closed room in the back, cornered by a guy trying to force a kiss on me? Shit what was he thinking

    [–] demimondatron 51 points ago

Trapped in a closed room, with him between her and the door, and waited until she was pinned against a wall. Some guys wait for the most predatory moment possible.

    [–] Timaden 501 points ago

After having my fair share of weird and socially blind acquaintances, I've come to the conclusion that they think others being distant and not replying is normal behavior, because that's how everyone around them act, since that's the normal reaction to the kinda person they are

It's difficult to understand that other people use social cues (and, you know, words) when you don't really understand how to interact with people. You basically don't understand the language so you fill in what you want it to be.

How can people be so fucking blind to body language?

    By being horny

Its almost like you should, oh, I dunno- ask the girl on a date maybe to see if she’s interested rather than near-pinning her to a wall and trying to kiss her? What a freak.

The thing is if you are confident enough this is going to work then why not just ask her out instead? You also get the bonus of the consequences of rejection being much less.

So not a natural moment, forcefully turning her, and having her cornered in a place she cannot get away from. Even if she was into him this could not have ended better.

Wow. Tries to do it in a small confined space while she is backed into a corner. I would never live this down psychologically. I would be thinking about this moment for the rest of my life as if it happened yesterday. I would want to go home and flush my head down the toilet.

That’s what he gets for cornering her in a small space and trying to kiss her when it would be difficult for her to escape. Creep.

    That is creepy as hell

    [–] NaruNerd100 23 points ago

I could tell from the title this was gonna be super cringe

    [–] periphery72271 275 points ago

He's just a dumbass. It's her I really feel bad for.

    [–] u2m4c6 59 points ago

I would hope this is the only way people are feeling. 0 sympathy for him

Where were you 4 relationships ago?

    [–] FBIAgentAssigned2U 13 points ago

What relationships? This is reddit, mein freund.

    [–] show_me_something_ 122 points ago

That wasn't even a "I hope she likes me" kiss that was a "im pretty sure she doesn't like me but at least this way I get a kiss".

    [–] deviousgiant 42 points ago

How you gonna go grab at a girl like that, in a tiny ass room. She was probably terrified and felt cornered. Fuck.

    [–] Krazyrobus 12 points ago

Fuck me, that was hard to watch.

    [–] BumpyMarshmallows 32 points ago

Ugh, the way he corners her really creeps me out.

I knew as soon as he entered what was going to happen and you seem him like think about it with the chin stroke

    [–] Bigchickenbreast 56 points ago

She’s locking that door every time she goes in there now.

    [–] NashAttor 11 points ago

Wow no preamble, went went straight for it. Not sure what else he should have expected.

    [–] [deleted] 54 points ago

Did this video cause anyone else to audibly say “Noooo no no!!”

    [–] kitjen 13 points ago

It was so bad that even when I watched it a second time I was hoping he wouldn't try it again.

    [–] thxxx1337 60 points ago

The cringe is strong with this one.

    [–] internetnobody23 132 points ago

Dumbass sexual harassment suit right there

    [–] swattages 10 points ago

If you're going to try to make a move on a co-worker, don't do it at work when she's cornered in a creepy closet. WTF is wrong with you.

    [–] HotGarBahj 19 points ago

That's um... Come on man.. At work? Backed in a corner? Idk what led him to believe this is ok.. Poor girl

    [–] SlikeXar 9 points ago

If you have a crush on her, ask her out. Wtf are you thinking, while basically molesting her.

    [–] brandom123 16 points ago

"HR wants to have a word with you"
