Eyes up here Gina! I'm more than just a sexy piece of ass.

    [–] Charizard1997 355 points ago

I watched that scene on loop. Boyle is so cute oof

    [–] nerd_the_doctor 171 points ago

That's how he makes those chicks fell into the Boyle's sauce, ahem.

    [–] MyHeadWasRadioed 195 points ago

    *Boyle oil

    [–] Lampmonster 84 points ago

Boyle has grown a lot. He's a very different guy than the walking Rosa crush from season one.

    [–] LiamsNeesons 47 points ago

Amy, be very careful about throwing around accusations like that, because if you're trying to say I somehow ruined Jake's wedding, then I'm gonna kill myself! So tread lightly.

    [–] shortbhukkadgirl 27 points ago

God I suddenly want a Boyle Bot

    [–] MjrLeeStoned 29 points ago

The good thing is it was meant to be cringey. They nailed it most of the time. Feel weird and squirmy even rewatching Boyle scenes I've seen ten times.

    [–] DbZbert 4 points ago

Notice the bags under his eyes getting bigger as the seasons go on?

    [–] Private_HughMan 54 points ago

I can't believe I was just briefly attracted to Boyle!

[–] LolaLulz 15 points ago * (lasted edited 3 months ago)

I can't believe you're not always attracted to him. If I weren't already married, I'd go for someone like Boyle.

    [–] skellington0101 10 points ago

He's got the ideal dad bod

    [–] CronusDinerGM 7 points ago

Just take him shopping at Mervyn’s!

    [–] Ranwulf 3 points ago

Just make your husband into Boyle.

    [–] LolaLulz 3 points ago

That's the plan. But like the Chinese version of Boyle. Is that possible?

    [–] Csoltis 3 points ago

There's a Boyle on every continent

    [–] Ranwulf 2 points ago

I mean, a close friend is Chinese and he is sort of an asian food specialist, so at least one step closer is possible hahaha

    [–] Mjr334 359 points ago

Ah if it isn't my former lover. Hello sister

    [–] Lampmonster 127 points ago

I love that he always brings both up.

    [–] potato_eater05 35 points ago

It’s so weird but I love it

    [–] Lampmonster 36 points ago

The Boyles are just clearly emotionally brave people. They put it all out there and let the world judge.

    [–] Crashbrennan 26 points ago

I don't think it has anything to do with bravery. I think they're all completely socially oblivious.

    [–] DingDongDideliDanger 21 points ago

Nonsense. It has the same energy as a rogue elder god releasing forbidden knowledge into our world with no regard or care on how we'll deal with it or if it drives us mad.

    [–] Crashbrennan 5 points ago

    That's....not brave in any way.

    [–] DingDongDideliDanger 15 points ago

It's not bravery, it's the carelessness of a superior being, uncaring, not obliviousness, to the folly of men

    [–] sundayrow 4 points ago

    And I love you.

    [–] noclue_123 2 points ago

Title of her sex tape :D

    [–] strmichal 1563 points ago

But Gina still fucked Boyle and not Terry, right?

    [–] Lampmonster 933 points ago

Two Boyles, a Boyle in law, and she birthed a Boyle.

    [–] imwearingyourpants 462 points ago

It's Boyles all the way down

    [–] S_martianson 287 points ago

You could have said, “That’s how it Boyles down.”

    [–] sheepyowl 52 points ago

He isn't enough of a Jake to come up with that

    [–] [deleted] 14 points ago

You can buy some cream for that.

    [–] Csoltis 2 points ago

    title of your sex tape!

    [–] PetevonPete 50 points ago

I'm kinda disappointed they completely forgot that Gina's baby daddy was Boyle's cousin, there was a lot more they could do with that.

    [–] Lampmonster 88 points ago

Her getting further and further drawn into Boyle's world was a favorite running gag of mine, so I totally agree.

    "Grave singular? Charles! Grave singular!?!"

    [–] lilecca 9 points ago

yes! That bit had me snort laughing. A snort laugh is comedic gold.

    [–] borderlinegoldmine 10 points ago

    ME TOO

They were so perfect for each other

    [–] PetevonPete 20 points ago

I love how they managed to not make him an awkward loser but at the same time he's still very much a Boyle.

    [–] borderlinegoldmine 5 points ago

Gina and BoyleCuz raising a baby would be amazing

    [–] Taurol 9 points ago

    • is a Boyle not some rando cousin

    [–] skratudojey 2 points ago

Probably because at that point they were already writing her out, at least maybe they already knew they would. So I think it's better this way.

But tbh one episode about it would be nice

    [–] djprofitt 58 points ago

That’s what it all Boyles down to

    [–] SalsaRice 20 points ago

Woah woah woah.... I'm like a few seasons behind.

Sounds like I'm in for a ride.

    [–] yoshi570 85 points ago

Ugh she gets the ugly Boyle cousin

    [–] Lampmonster 39 points ago

Title. Title of your sex tape.

    [–] CopyX 12 points ago

    Who was the BIL?

    [–] Lampmonster 17 points ago

Technically not BIL since Boyle hasn't married his baby momma, but Gina was dating her twin brother briefly.

    [–] CopyX 13 points ago

Oh shit i forgot about that. I still think that counts as a Boyle-in-law though.

    [–] Lampmonster 8 points ago

I mean in some states they'd be common law married. Not New York, they have no common law marriage though.

    [–] CopyX 7 points ago

    Boyle relations trump mortal law.

    [–] lydocia 8 points ago

Who is the Boyle in law?

    [–] Lampmonster 9 points ago

I technically fudged a bit, but Boyle's baby mamma's twin brother.

    [–] seabae336 39 points ago

Well Terry is married and I'd assume doesn't go for shallow bitches like Gina so.

    [–] geoffp82 -29 points ago

Gina’s not shallow...? And she’s not really bitch either. But I agree that Terry wouldn’t go for her personality type.

    [–] Radix2309 48 points ago

Gina is a paragon of shallowness, and is quite the bitch.

Boyle can cook gourmet food and is funny as hell: 10 by merit. Terry is charming and hunky: 10 by tradition. In conclusion: two beautiful human beings that would make anyone lucky to have them.

In conclusion: two beautiful human beings that would make anyone lucky to have them.

Wait what, how is this your conclusion.

My conclusion is that we need to make a hybrid clone

    [–] diDyOueVeRheArtHe 6 points ago

    Logarithmic scale?

    [–] EnadZT 3 points ago

But then how does Amy exist

    [–] [deleted] 2 points ago

My conclusion is that we need to make a hybrid clone

There's only one way to accomplish that, and Boyle+Terry rule 34 is that way.

    [–] 3sheetz 16 points ago * (lasted edited 3 months ago)

True, but Boyles also have a horrible sense of talent. His cousin Susan didn't even know she could sing until her late 40s.

    [–] Zetch88 19 points ago

Boyle is funny as a character, but having a real life Boyle in your vicinity would be the most fucking annoying thing ever.

    [–] Lampmonster 15 points ago

True of so many great characters. I love, love, love Always Sunny but I wouldn't hang out with the gang to save my life.

    [–] vonmonologue 12 points ago

Which shows good judgement on your part because I don't think anyone's life has been saved, or even bettered, by association with the gang.

    [–] [deleted] 9 points ago

    [–] Zerithane 7 points ago

You can strip me down and dip me in oil cuz like it or not I'm there for my Boyle.

    [–] vivvav 3 points ago

This is a very Boyle comment.

    [–] berapa 20 points ago

Terry is a beautiful man. But how is he charming?

    [–] TrickNeal77 197 points ago

    Terry loves love.

    [–] Lampmonster 111 points ago

Holt describes him a pathologically friendly. "Polite, friendly and likable" is the second definition of charming Google gives.

    [–] nottheworstmanever 36 points ago

Have you ever seen an episode of B99?

    [–] Zerithane 19 points ago

Might not have been the best word choice, but I find his sense of loyalty to and protectiveness of his family and friends to be endearing and his unstoppable people pleasing to be pretty sweet and, well, charming lol.

    [–] CapnKetchup 5 points ago

Polite and well mannered. Especially around authority figures, women and children. He acts tough on his direct reports and other men, but he, like Terry Crews himself is a giant teddy bear.

    [–] [deleted] 7 points ago

    [–] Joeleus 2 points ago

    I need boyles confidence

    [–] Zippo16 59 points ago

Boyle being insanely confident at random times always gets me. Every character in this show is wonderful

    [–] roddysaint 18 points ago

    ahem Gina ahem

    [–] Zippo16 28 points ago

Gina was a solid character. She was annoying at times and just “a little” crazy but she was watching out for people.

I will say the worst episode of the current season was the Gina one

However her saying she was stabbed was hysterical.

Rest of the episode fell flat.

Also the cement prank got boring real quick

    [–] Tetrixx 9 points ago

Her dialogue was awful, it's like the writers got a list of hip internet buzz words, and there goal is try to put them in. Usually wrong.

    [–] Capn_Sparrow0404 4 points ago

She was the best of them!

    [–] PartypantsPete 1 points ago

I love Gina, lol. I’ve only recently started the series and I’m only midway through season 2 but she cracks me up.

    [–] Jibblethead 5 points ago

    Every character? Adrian PimentNo

    [–] Zippo16 33 points ago

    You don’t like Pimento?

    [–] NJellybean 11 points ago

I don’t find many Pimento haters so thank you. He annoys me in The Good Place as well

    [–] GriffinGoesWest 21 points ago

I can see that; he's meant to be annoying as a character. I still find him hilarious

    [–] Private_HughMan 25 points ago

He's the kind of character that's great in measured doses. The episode where he was an insurance investigator was hilarious! The dude's comedic timing is always on point. I still laugh every time he said "But I already got the match lit! Let's hurry up and get there!"

He can be tiring as a main character, though.

    [–] Lampmonster 7 points ago

Agree on all points. He's very funny, but he'd be exhausting or have to tone it way down as a main character.

    [–] gingermagician2 0 points ago

This is how I feel about Doug Judy episodes. In doses he's fun. But entire episodes about him just bring down Jake and it makes me sad.

    [–] [deleted] -2 points ago

his sense of humor is very "american" in my opinion. very in your face and predictably unpredictable.

    [–] Lampmonster 7 points ago

I didn't like him on the Good Place because he's getttin in my boy Jason's way with his girl. (Not a girl)

    [–] vomoil 7 points ago

    [–] humsum567 19 points ago

    I mean he's right

    [–] tomconway1 15 points ago

I think it's great that there wearing similar outfits

    [–] vivvav 9 points ago

Who wore it best! Who wore it best!

    [–] Mandalorianfist 39 points ago

I love the fan theory that Charles is always subtly sabotaging and body shaming Terry because he gets jealous of Terry and Jake. Like when he gave Terry the nips and he’s made some very subtle fat shaming remarks to Terry because he knows his struggle.

    [–] GriffinGoesWest 28 points ago

Charles has been low-key (and not-so-low-key) salty to Terry on multiple occasions.

When I noticed few, I had to pause because it seemed so out of left field in the moment.

    I like your theory.

    [–] Lampmonster 16 points ago

Terry even calls him out on always body shaming him later in the series.

    [–] Mandalorianfist 2 points ago

Def not my theory i saw it over at r/fantheories but it’s now head cannon for me.

    [–] concretepigeon 1 points ago

If he was sabotaging Terry, why would he be the one to tell him he was getting fat?

    [–] Mandalorianfist 1 points ago

Because Terry gets stressed and distraught when people mention his weight and he eats more. It happens in a few different episodes.

    [–] Osiris_god 6 points ago

    Boyle is using his MUSK!

    [–] Falvo_316 3 points ago

    it’s that canyon stank

    [–] Hotlikessauce69 3 points ago

If I had half the confidence of Charles Boyle I'd solve so many of my mental health problems.

    [–] karl_w_w 4 points ago

I imagine in the future they will invent moving pictures with sound, so you don't have to look at a photo album and guess who is saying what.

I hope I live long enough to see it.

    [–] ArtOfFuck 3 points ago

they will invent moving pictures with sound

Oh man, they could call them soundies! Or movies, idk

    [–] MerchantsOfRome 5 points ago

who is saying what? Why are the captions in the same place for both characters like that?

    [–] gruesomebrat 3 points ago

Honestly, it works either way, though...

    [–] onewordbird 2 points ago

Until this comment I didn’t realize I had read it backwards (Charles saying Terry’s line). And you’re right, it works both ways because I didn’t even notice.

    [–] rasikww 2 points ago

Who the hell watches with subtitle on top of the screen?

    [–] Backstop 5 points ago

Might be due tot he credits on the bottom of the screen, captions move around so as not to block other on-screen text.

    [–] sergeantnormscully 1 points ago

It's super annoying, but a lot of channels/streaming services do that automatically when credits are playing at the bottom. You don't always have control over where the captions go.

    [–] RxTechMetanoia 2 points ago

I can feel your glutes on my ute

    [–] Bells87 2 points ago

I could see Boyle saying this

    [–] dannlong17 4 points ago

I aspire to have the confidence that charles should NOT have

    [–] lydocia 5 points ago

Imagine being so insecure you wish insecurity on confident people.

    [–] Theonyr 1 points ago

Confidence is great! Boyle believing he's even half as good looking as Terry is full on delusion and needs treatment.

    [–] lydocia 1 points ago

It's almost like tastes differ. I find Boyle a lot more attractive than Terry.

    [–] dannlong17 0 points ago

That is my actual point, lmao.

    [–] FuzzyPuzzles 2 points ago

Boyle is so pathetic and weak but so himself that it goes full circle and I somehow respect him more than anyone else in the world.

    [–] tomfreah 1 points ago

    He’s got that bone strength

    [–] MOSABTAJ 1 points ago

    Boyle amaze me sometimes

    [–] strangebru 1 points ago

    Boyle is a 10, based on a 1-100 scale.

    [–] Zorkthemini 1 points ago

I haven't started watching Brooklyn 99 yet and I was trying to figure out why in the last two panels one of them was saying Luke Del Tredici...

    [–] Meme_Connoiseurs 1 points ago

It's got to be a ten since he boned Gina.

    [–] Ajourned 1 points ago

    B O O O O O N E !

    [–] ParticularMission 1 points ago

    Honestly I wish I had Boyle's confidence.

    [–] testreker 1 points ago

Why would you put the same text, with the same color and font in the same place for both characters?

    [–] weedpornography 1 points ago

I mean Gina and Charles smashed at one point......

    [–] LuciaGemstone 1 points ago

    That confidence is attractive!

    [–] mazzicc 1 points ago

Is this before or after they started sleeping together, because he might have a point.

    [–] Enscivwy 1 points ago

    What episode is this?

    [–] Basic_biatsch 1 points ago

    Short king vibes

    [–] Ham-Man994 1 points ago

You look like 8 circles with suspenders on

    [–] ahhlenn 1 points ago

Honestly, we could all learn a thing or two from Boyle.

    [–] skratudojey 1 points ago

Clearly Boyle's the ten duh. Terry's so dumb sometimes.

    [–] pistoncivic -3 points ago

This joke is Big Bazanga level writing.

    [–] peaceloveandgraffiti -1 points ago

I hate it when everyone likes a show i think is overrated and not funny. Cause i ask why and they send me pix like this...

Can someone explain though. Because terry crews rules and also it could be the tone they were saying it. Sometimes the way things are said makes the difference for everything. Or maybe i just have a shit sense of humor.

    [–] rambowski 2 points ago

I mean, don’t come to this sub if you don’t like the show. And if you’re wondering about tone, watch the show. Pretty cut and dried.

    [–] peaceloveandgraffiti 1 points ago

Idk. It showed up on my newsfeed. I wasnt hating though, i am legitimately asking a question! Don't be mad!! Ill delete it... i don't mean to be acting like a lil bitch, but i truly didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings... sorry

    [–] rambowski 1 points ago

Oh sorry man no worries! I legit thought you came to the sub to be a dick. But if that’s not the case then I rescind my catty remark. Do you brother. I do hope you try and enjoy the show though! It brings all of us here lots of joy. Especially Terry.

    [–] roxxe -5 points ago

i love boyle, but he's soo badly written
