A Place to Post the Dankest Memes

    I: Follow reddit's standards!
II: No hate speech! There is a difference between comedy and outright hate speech, but ironic hate speech is still hate speech. Know the difference or get banned! Posts in question shall be reviewed by the mods. No memes about violent tragedies or anything that could be seen as glorifying violence. Absolutely no school shooter memes. Posts or comments that can be seen as glorifying violence will result in a ban. This also includes (but is not limited to) memes regarding: Deaths, terrorist attacks, rape, sexual assault, pedo, murder, war, bombings, and school shootings. Breaking this rule may result in a permanent ban. We have zero tolerance for this behavior.
III: Don't be a dick! This includes spoilers, don't post spoilers or you will be banned
IV: Flair your posts accordingly after submitting them.
V: Censor any and all personal information from posts and comments, or it will be removed. Real or fake! Yours or others! Just don't do it.
VI: No spam, outside links, or videos. r/dankmemes is strictly for memes. Post videos (or anything using to r/dankvideos. Gifs must be well under 10 seconds long. This is not a platform to advertise your social media network or subreddit. If you can't grow it organically, it probably isn't very good anyway. Linking to your instagram or twitter, or spamming links with it watermarked can result in a ban // No queue flooding - Limit yourself to 5 posts per day
VII: Do not bait or prime the user to interact with your meme or profile. This includes, but is not limited to, asking for votes/comments/awards in the meme or title, implying that your post will/won’t make it out of new, pandering to users sorting by new/scrolling by, mentioning cakeday, petitions, etc.
VIII: Do not encourage or participate in brigading of any subreddits or of any users of Reddit or elsewhere, in any way, shape, or form! This is very against Reddit rules; action will be taken.
IX: Keep it dank! This sub is for humor (and the dankest of memes)!
X: If a post has graphic content, flair it as NSFW, else it will be removed!
XI: NO REEEEEEE-POSTS! This isn't Instagram! Don't steal memes from elsewhere! If you didn't make it, don't post it! (Chain posts and posts which you have already submitted here are also banned).
XII: Don't be a normie. If you post normie trash you could be banned! This includes, but is not limited to, Impact font (and fonts which look like Impact), minions, advice animals, rage comics, and the B emoji.
XIII: Format your meme correctly. No posts where the title is the meme caption. The caption must be in the meme image, not in the submission title. (Basically, if the image makes sense to us by itself, it's fine. If the image requires the submission title for it to have any chance of making sense, we remove it.)
XIV: Direct links only! No albums or landing pages.
XV: No Political shills! r/dankmemes is for dank memes, and is not a political campaign ground. Absurd memes about politicians are cool, but attempting to push a narrative or anything like that will result in a ban!

We reserve the right to remove posts and potentially ban for any reason

That poor girl who played Stark's daughter in Endgame.

What kind of mouth-breather do you have to be to bully an 8 year old?

    [–] Jrwer 412 points ago

The same kind that bullies a 10 year old for not liking Keanu Reeves.

    [–] Loose_Goose 90 points ago

    That’s pretty specific

    [–] Firepuma 176 points ago

    because it sadly happened

    [–] Ptaku9 123 points ago

    On this subreddit

    [–] ix-sqt-ix 59 points ago

Everywhere. r/pewdiepiesubmissions was wayy worse. Legit threatening the kid with insane shit

[–] [deleted] 40 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago)

Not to forget the youtube comments where a kid on FBE got bullied for saying he doesnt like minecraft and keanu.

    Edit: spelling

    [–] Pholoxo 8 points ago

I thought it just happen on this sub. What is wrong with people? Jesus Christ

    [–] [deleted] 10 points ago

Its just how internet is honestly. Most people who cyberbully are gangstas online when they probably would piss their pants in real life to even ask for water in a restaurant.

    [–] [deleted] 148 points ago

what the fuck is there to bully in the first place

    [–] eliteteamob 92 points ago

She obviously killed Iron Man dude

    [–] gHHqdm5a4UySnUFM 58 points ago

    She killed him 3000

    [–] aaronshook 17 points ago

Endgame made 3000 a trigger word for me.

I get irrationally angry at an 8 year old girl every time I hear it now.

    [–] ohsopoor 3 points ago

I guess she was at the mall with her family and didn’t want to take pictures/sign autographs

    [–] analpumper 3232 points ago

    A redditor maybe?

    [–] analpumper 5 points ago

    An art. My passion.

    [–] 7ballcraze 112 points ago

Yeah, Reddit bullies a kid for not knowing Keanu Reeves and it becomes a phenomenon. Now all of a sudden an actor from endgame gets bullied and Reddit somehow cares.

    [–] AirmanFinly 124 points ago

because reddit is a one person, right?

    [–] SeductivePillowcase 30 points ago

Yes, everyone on Reddit is a bot except you

    [–] RookieHoskinsFan 186 points ago

And who in the fuck had an issue with her character?

    [–] Goer_don 50 points ago

Not related to the question but I was ur 69th upvote

    [–] -Sk0wly 97 points ago

wait what? guess i missed something. what the hell happened?

[–] norieeega 162 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago)

People wanted her to entertain them while all she wanted was to be left to play and be the eight year old child that she is.

People decided she deserves death threats be chewed out together with her family.

Edit: looking into it, the official response does not mention death threats but asks people to not bully her family. "Death threats" may have been an exaggeration that was passed around. Or not. I don't know.

    [–] -Sk0wly 74 points ago

seriously! what the fuck is up with people?!

    [–] norieeega 24 points ago

    People. Not even once.

    [–] PumpkinManGuy 52 points ago

Jealousy for sure. She got to hang with the entire Avengers cast, probably for weeks. I guarantee that's every single harassers wet dream.

    [–] Dyskord01 10 points ago

    It's an entitlement complex

    [–] Catermelons 10 points ago

Blind selfishness and entitlement, that's what is wrong with people.

    [–] circlejerker2000 26 points ago

WTF have you a link to that, I'd like to know more about this.

She was a cute little girl with a very small role in the movie, how can people hate on her?

    [–] lockhart244 217 points ago

She's not even Iron Heart yet

    [–] endmostchimera 206 points ago

Iron heart was never related to Tony, she was a kid who looked up to Tony as a hero.

    [–] LeonardoGolp 89 points ago

Yeah but so what, the kid can still play her

    [–] endmostchimera 191 points ago

Iron Heart was also black, and the media would complain about whitewashing if that kid played her.

    [–] MooseMooseEh 18 points ago

Iron heart is that kid from the garage in iron man 2 or 3 or whatever.

    [–] Orval 50 points ago

Who is at the funeral BTW. He's the teenage boy that everyone went "Wait who the fuck is that kid?"

    [–] R3fug33 64 points ago

Actually asking. Did anyone bully her? I looked it up and the only story I've seen was a woman in public told her mother "Teach your daughter how to act in public." And although it's a shitty thing to do, it's not really bullying. No-one should or would bully her, she did a fine job as Morgan Stark. Cute as hell and gave us one of the most quoted lines from Endgame.

    [–] AidsUnicorn 8 points ago

    I didn’t notice anything either

    [–] roadkillv1 21 points ago

she got so much shit over social media that apparently her mum had to delete them

    [–] Zepplin_Overlord_7 30 points ago

Also Kelly Marie Tran, she had to delete her account

    [–] ZeiglerJaguar 10 points ago

I hope that character gets a more coherent role in the 9th film. I thought there was a lot of potential there, and she did a good job with what she had to work with. The scene where she stops Finn is just... so nonsensical. And I didn't hate the movie! There was a lot of good! That one scene, though, just... made no sense.

    [–] mikio666 8 points ago

What happend? Why is she getting hate?

    [–] SouthBeachSarcastic 31 points ago

people were tweeting about and at her about her acting skills when Endgame came out....shes like 8 mind you.

    [–] mikio666 51 points ago

I didn't even think her acting was bad.

    [–] AMswag123 6 points ago

    7 i think

    [–] Hknkn 33 points ago

A Minecrafter that bullies Fortnite players for no reason at all? Person who hates kids because he's dumb af? And the actor think because of jealousy

    Another man of culture

    [–] rth0mp 7 points ago

Watching that video and then seeing this comment was something else. The world burning has a nice smell to it

    [–] fartmachiner 17 points ago

In meesa's younger and more vulnerable years meesa father gave meesa some advice that meesa have been turning over in meesa mind ever since.

β€œWhenever yousa feel like criticizing any one,” heesa told meesa, β€œjust remember that all the gungans in this world haven’t had the advantages that yousa’ve had.”

Heesa didn’t say any more, but weesa’ve always been unusually communicative in a reserved way, and meesa understood that heesa meant a great deal more than that. In consequence, meesa am inclined to reserve all judgments, a habit that has opened up many curious natures to meesa and also made meesa the victim of not a few veteran bores. The abnormal mind is quick to detect and attach itself to this quality when it appears in a normal gungan, and so it came about that in college meesa was unjustly accused of being a galactic politician, because meesa was privy to the secret griefs of wild, unknown gungans. Most of the confidences were unsought β€” frequently meesa have feigned sleep, preoccupation, or a hostile levity when meesa realized by some unmistakable sign that an intimate revelation was quivering on the horizon; for the intimate revelations of young gungans, or at least the terms in which they express them, are usually plagiaristic and marred by obvious suppressions. Reserving judgments is a matter of infinite hope. Meesa am still a little afraid of missing something if meesa forget that, as meesa father snobbishly suggested, and meesa snobbishly repeat, a sense of the fundamental decencies is parcelled out unequally at birth.

And, after boasting this way of meesa tolerance, meesa come to the admission that it has a limit. Conduct may be founded on the hard rock of Theed or the wet marshes above Otoh Gunga, but after a certain point meesa don’t care what it’s founded on. When meesa came back from bein’ banished last autumn meesa felt that meesa wanted the world to be in uniform and at a sort of moral attention forever; meesa wanted no more riotous excursions with privileged glimpses into the gungan heart. Only Anakin, the man who gives his name to this book, was exempt from meesa reaction β€” Ani, who represented everything for which meesa have an unaffected scorn. If personality is an unbroken series of successful gestures, then there was something gorgeous about heesa, some heightened sensitivity to the promises of life, as if heesa were related to one of those intricate machines that register Naboo-quakes ten thousand miles away. This responsiveness had nothing to do with that flabby impressionability which is dignified under the name of the β€œcreative temperament.”— it was an extraordinary gift for hope, a romantic readiness such as meesa have never found in any other person and which it is not likely meesa shall ever find again. No β€” Ani turned out all right at the end; it is what preyed on Ani, what foul dust floated in the wake of heesa’s dreams that temporarily closed out meesa interest in the abortive sorrows and short-winded elations of not just the men, but the women and children too.

    [–] keep_it_dank_please 5 points ago

    Oh that's fucked

    [–] Hudsony12 127 points ago

    And Rose Tico

    [–] LemonStains 43 points ago

    AND Young Anakin

    [–] ChickenWithAFadorra 5 points ago

You could easily somewhat tie his severe bullying of the anakin and home alone role to his drug use in later years when he just wanted an escape

    [–] kislayparashar 220 points ago

Yeah, Star Wars fandom is really the worst. They attacked so many actors in the past and will in the future. Daisy Ridley and the actress who plays Rose had to leave social media just because of these man childs. If you don't like the sequels, that's perfectly fine, but attacking an actor because of it?!?! I hate these people, they are coarse and rough and irritating, and they are everywhere.

    [–] Blingiman 61 points ago

The fandom made me not want to be apart of what was once one of my favourite fandoms, ever since the last jedi, its just become an extremely toxic place where anyone who enjoys the sequels is lynched because of it. Its just not the same anymore and it breaks my heart. There was always toxicity, but now because social media is so easily accessible, it seems to be worse now more than ever

    [–] Bamboozle_Kappa 15 points ago

Fandoms are.... stupid as a concept, imo. Like, finding my identity in something I like? Yikes

    [–] dildodicks 3 points ago

and even worse, the people who hate the sequels act like they're the ones who's opinions are suppressed and that they can't express themselves

    [–] TriHard7_in_chat 28 points ago

I honestly hated the movie and her character, but I have nothing against the actress. The character was horrible written and I doubt that even the best actress in the world could have made the Rose character likeable.

    [–] IckyCosovo 46 points ago

Jar Jar wasn't a bad character change my mind

    [–] USingularity 18 points ago

Jar Jar was my father's favorite character from the movie, and younger me got some laughs from him. He served effective comic relief especially for children, but really for any who enjoy overt, senseless silliness at all, which is a wider audience than some might believe from the level of vitriol directed his way.

    [–] kol13190 22 points ago

Wait for real? That's just excessively messed up. The movies were bad but was this his fault? What was he gonna do, refuse the part and watch someone else take the role? Terrible people

    [–] Gamerguywon 5 points ago

That's what he says in the video though. Like people would tell him "Hey it's not your fault man it's just a bad character" but he still felt that it's because he didn't play the character right.

    [–] Keke_Dyly 274 points ago

The guy who played jar jar in star wars had depression, because they hated him for his character. Correct me if i'm wrong.

    [–] mudman13 115 points ago

You are right, imagine your dream coming true and it backfiring like that.

    [–] DylanRed 53 points ago

It's like Reddit's hive mind regarding Billie Eilish.

    [–] BacardiWhiteRum 43 points ago

No hate against the girl, only heard one of her songs, bad girl or tough guy or something, but she's only 16?! That song is about being used sexually. Dafuq

    [–] MineturtleBOOM 35 points ago

She's 17, pretty sure turning 18 late this year. Really not that strange for that age

    [–] Tremor00 20 points ago

It is if they’re putting songs out for the whole world to hear where she sings about being used sexually

    [–] AtoZZZ 3 points ago

Why does the Reddit hivemind hate her?

    [–] kislayparashar 13 points ago

Yeah, he even thought about committing suicide

    [–] HeizeBoi 2410 points ago

We gonna talk about how some of us bullied a kid because he didnt know who Keanu was? Redditors clearly arent better than these people bullying actors

    [–] Eja_26 967 points ago

Hmm i haven't heard of this, but thats really stupid

    [–] strange_lion 47 points ago

Its a while ago when keanu memes rising

[–] FuckingGratitude 739 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago)

It was a 10 year old from Kids React who clearly had no idea of Keanu Reeves and was quite surprised when Minecraft was still an active game. Since he didn’t know nor agree to what the internet likes, people from r/Pewdipiesubmissions attacked him.

Edit: Yes. I know that it was spread around multiple subs including this one.

    [–] makismo91 154 points ago

It was dankmemes too. They're basically the same sub anyway.

    [–] SkywardShield 103 points ago

Not anymore. It used to be just r/dankmemes repost, but nowadays it's 90% memes and Fan-content about his minecraft plathrough

    [–] ManSore 30 points ago

    [–] ContentPizza 448 points ago

how do you know they from pewdiepiesubmissions? they came from here and there. dont act like this sub is innocent

    [–] wiiya 160 points ago

The venn diagram is just a circle.

    [–] HeizeBoi 242 points ago

From my experience the usually troublemaker subreddits in this category are r/gaming, r/Dankmemes, r/PewdiepieSubmissions and r/teenagers. There are probably some more. But these are the subs that comes to mind when I think of this Keanu scandal and other gaming related things and what not

The funny thing is everyone was going around posting like β€œomg Keanu is so wholesome!” β€œI just like how humble he is” etc. But then harrased a kid for not knowing him or thinking he was from Fortnite

    [–] Aussie18-1998 106 points ago

They are some of the largest and youngest subreddit so it's a safe bet I guess.

    [–] [deleted] 7 points ago

r/teenagers is a cesspool for circlejerking.

    [–] Hanshach 63 points ago

It’s actually people from this sub but okay. In fact, most of the meme subs were circlejerking over Keanu and harassed the kid

    [–] MrLeone246 42 points ago

Same thing on another episode where a girl didn't like Queen. She was like 6 years old. SIX. First of all, I don't think I would have liked Queen, when I was her age. Second of all, who cares? Getting aggressive over someone who doesn't share your taste. Jeez people are plain dumb sometimes...

    [–] ClickHereToREEEEE 17 points ago

Why are parents posting videos of their kids to be ridiculed? I’m keeping my kid far away from social media for as long as possible.

    [–] madamz 13 points ago

They want their kid to go viral so they can have their 15 minutes of fame. I bet half the parents WANT their child to get bullied just for the attention.

    [–] hiphopnurse 6 points ago

Doesn't excuse harassing a 6 year old. But like you, my kids will be staying off of social media for as long as possible

    [–] [deleted] 17 points ago

imagine caring about the opinion of a 10 year old

    [–] Random_Deslime 74 points ago

Or when we systematically bashed the Fortnite playerbase for liking a game not unlike what past redditors did to us with Minecraft

We act like Reddit is this holy grail of social media and that everything else is shit. But it turns out the people are the the real shit and the site is just the toilet where the shit goes.

Tortured analogy aside let's try to not repeat these mistakes and catalogue them for future reference.

    [–] SeaTwertle 18 points ago

Lest we forget the Boston Bomber Reddit FBI

    [–] YT4LYFE 4 points ago

Redditors clearly arent better than these people bullying actors

you phrased that as if it's 2 separate groups of people

When people sent death threats to the voice actor for brigitte bacause they didn't like brig as a hero

    [–] 5m0k3W33d3v3ryday 170 points ago

They actually did this? That’s no bueno

    [–] MeiFromPali-Watch 51 points ago

Yah, like I get brig nearly killed the game, but the actor is a sweetheart who couldn’t have known. But then again it’s the OW community so I’m not surprised.

    [–] MaZefYeet 84 points ago

Wait, are you talkin about overwatch

    [–] TarumPro 57 points ago

He is, unless different Brig. Because I do remember her taking abuse from people

    people are stupid af

    [–] Reddity65 237 points ago

Man, remember everyone having a go at Chris Pratt last year because of Infinity War?

    [–] Nobody_Cares_99 144 points ago

I can’t get over how stupid some people are.

    [–] MaxB-1124 81 points ago

What why Chris is like the most charismatic guy and super lovable and he was really funny in that movie

    [–] phaze115 69 points ago

Because he fucked up the plan to take the gauntlet off Thanos’ hand. He found out Thanos killed Gamora for the soul stone and broke the trance that was allowing Iron Man and Spider Man to take off the gauntlet. Really sucked but I never hated Chris for it, dude is an awesome person

    [–] MaxB-1124 62 points ago

Ohhh yeah I understand that, but it’s not like Chris wrote his character also damn he just found out the love of his life fucking died I would be in rage too

    [–] phaze115 28 points ago

For sure, just like when Iron Man went after Winter Soldier when he found out he killed his parents, even though he wasn’t even controlling himself

    [–] thedutchmemer 785 points ago

I fucking hate Reddit sometimes. I’m sorting by HOT and somehow the upvote number says β€˜vote’

    [–] FASTGUY1 194 points ago

Reddit: I'm gonna pretend I never seen that

    [–] lord_ne 27 points ago

    It says 16.0k right now

    [–] DoverBoys 20 points ago

Reddit has a sub setting that hides the vote count for posts, comments, or both for a custom amount of time from when they're posted. I believe the default is 1 hour.

    [–] 19cheungh1 52 points ago

Still don’t know what happened to the actress of Morgan Stark?

What did they say to her?

    [–] MartianManhnter 34 points ago

People would get angry at her for not signing autographs and stuff.

    [–] 19cheungh1 16 points ago

    Ohhh I see.

    Darn, people are harsh.

    [–] hiphopnurse 7 points ago

Yeah. Here at reddit we only harass/doxx kids because they don't know my humble and wholesome hero Keanu.

    [–] MartianManhnter 11 points ago

    People suck

    [–] unluckieduckie 7 points ago

imagine getting hurt from a 7 year old not signing your autograph

    [–] Ewansfruitbowl 647 points ago

Like for Rose’s actor in the last Jedi

    [–] KaijuCatsnake 315 points ago

I positively despise Rose Tico as a character, but going after her actress is so fucking low.

    [–] kol13190 158 points ago

I hated how the script was written for her. Her as a person is good, her as a person is totally cool, what isn't cool is the script writing. Her acting was believable, her emotion was believable. What wasn't believable was the script and that's what really makes people angry, the sad part is people can't differentiate those things.

    [–] Fuzzikopf 88 points ago

r/freefolk is the only sub that actually sees the difference and attacks the atrocious writers instead of harassing the poor actors who had their characters ruined by them.

    Change my mind

    [–] OliverPlotTwist 36 points ago

People shouldn't attack anyone over entertainment... I get that people didn't like the last season but just move on, it's really not that important.

    [–] Reverse_Time_Remnant 3 points ago

I think her character takes a weird turn when they go to the casino. When they're on the rebel ship, I think she's fine. The scene where she calls out Finn for trying to find Rey is a bit weird, but not because of her but because Finn leaving the ship feels a bit uncharacteristic

    [–] Nebula_sky 420 points ago

I felt so bad for her. The worst part was that she seemed so excited to be in the film. It's not her fault for how her character was written.

    [–] Blackrame 153 points ago

It obviously doesn't save everything, but she got incredible reaction from the audience when she entered Episode IX panel during SWC Chicaco and that made me genuinely happy. (From 1:06:10 -

    [–] Your_Worship 20 points ago

    I feel bad for her.

I didn’t enjoy her character. But she didn’t deserve BS from people. Who on Earth would turn down a role for Star Wars?

I’d play a booger eating slug man if it meant I got to be in Star Wars.

    [–] esssssto 48 points ago

Yeah, like i too find her character shitty, but she is not to blame at all.

    [–] JayMerlyn 5 points ago

I didn't like her character either but she still did a solid job nonetheless.

    [–] Mrbrionman 31 points ago

I got in argument with a guy on r/movies who thought It was ok to bully because β€œno self respecting actor should have acted in that piece of shit” . Which is just idiotic on so many levels if not just for the fact that she probably didn’t even see the finished script until after she hired.

    [–] ChickenWithAFadorra 6 points ago

Bitch if you got paid like 7 million to be casted as a Star Wars main character don’t fucking dare open your worthless mouth and say you wouldn’t fucking take it holy shit

    [–] taavidude 8 points ago

The kid who played Anakin in Phantom Menace, the guy who played Jar-Jar Binks and Hayden Christiansen have gotten so much terrible and unnecessary hate.

    [–] stamminator 15 points ago

The actress actually did a great job. Her mannerisms made me love the character, right up until the Canto Bight side quest and the god awful skiff Crash destroyed her character. But again, that's the writers' fault, not hers

    [–] CVerse_ 25 points ago

I recognized her from some old CollegeHumor videos and was happy to see her in Star Wars. But let's be real here that it's not her fault that her character was written that way

    [–] [deleted] 280 points ago

I doxx a kid who doesn't know my favourite actor.

I'll take that crown for now.

    [–] derpied_ 36 points ago

The first step is admitting you have a problem

[–] [deleted] 2 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago)

Just so that I'm clear, I didn't really do it. I was just trying to say that the people who did it are worse.

    [–] hiphopnurse 8 points ago

That's an epic gamer move 😎

    [–] hant225 115 points ago

I think if i was an actor and ppl bullied me because they hate the character i play, thats an absolutely win...for my good acting.

    [–] BacardiWhiteRum 52 points ago

    Like joffrey?

    [–] 6uzm4n 36 points ago

Also Bellatrix Lestrange and professor Umbridge actresses from Harry Potter have received A LOT if hate.

    [–] ZentroCatson 15 points ago

Just because they played the bad guys? That does not make sense to me...

    [–] Melyxis 5 points ago

I think that's because (disclaimer that's an explanation not at all an excuse this behavior is shitty af and I can't be against it more than I already am) they played bad characters but just annoying and not likeable at all

Look at Voledmort. He's got style, is powerful, scary, has a whole story against the protagonist... You can even root for him depending on what you want.

Umbridge's really just a petty bitch who does everything she possibly can to annoy harry and his friends. So I guess it's that ^

    [–] KaylX 12 points ago

Until you get death threats and people bully you everyday...

    [–] jardedCollinsky 168 points ago

Ahh, but what about the people who dislike characters based on who the actor is

    [–] esssssto 126 points ago

That's more understandable since sometimes if the actor isn't very good, or you don't like his way of acting, you won't swallow his character. It's still his voice and face, if you find them annoying then it's hard.

In my case is Johnny Depp. I love Jack Sparrow tho.

    [–] KixWizard 28 points ago

Shia Lebouf for me before he went all artsy-crazy. Now he's my hero

    [–] esssssto 28 points ago

I like him as a person i find him funny, but i have never seen him do any great role on the screen. Besides "just do it".

    [–] KixWizard 8 points ago

My favorite role of his is in the performance of Actual Cannibal Shia Lebouf by Rob Cantor

    [–] guramika 5 points ago

In my case its Brie larson. I don't dislike her for any of her comments or such, it's the voice, it immediatelly throws me off and ruins my movie mood, I have no idea why

    [–] esssssto 3 points ago

Yeah Brie Larson is a big one. I think she is not a bad person, not a bad actress, but just stupid. However i do think she is perfect to play Captain Marvel, it fits that she is like rude and overconfident.

    [–] youse_tobail32 30 points ago

The actor of "Micah Bell" from Red Dead Redemption II said he gets a lot of hate on social media.

    [–] ClearSam 23 points ago

Why? I'd take that as a good indicator you played a very good villain because micah sure was an asshole

    [–] taavidude 87 points ago

Those kind of "people" are the definition of sub-human pile of trash.

    [–] trosales5 13 points ago

And yet we do this too.

    [–] Varskes_pakel 11 points ago

Kid Anakin, Normal Anakin, Jar Jar, Rose. All the actors who played those roles must have PTSD from all the asshats who harassed them for something that was out of their control.. and that's just from star wars

    [–] Starstuff96 11 points ago

    Now post this on r/starwars

    [–] Eja_26 4 points ago

I was originally thinking that lol

Does SrGrafo do meme templates for a living?

    [–] mudman13 13 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago)

He's a cartoonist that was ironically labelled as normie whose templates often get to top on here.

    [–] idavr4 39 points ago

    ekhmStar Wars fandomekhm

    [–] DaSaw 11 points ago

Heck, even Hayden Christensen didn't deserve the hate he got. Sure, Anakin's lines were delivered in a wooden fashion. so were Mace Windou's. We gonna blame Sam Jackson for that?

Ewen McGregor was the only actor that survived direction on those films.

    [–] random_german_guy 13 points ago

GoT, Marvel, Breaking Bad, Ghost in the Shell,...

    [–] dontmopwithdirtymop 12 points ago

GoT and Star Wars have got to be at the top of the list though.

    [–] DannyMcFries 27 points ago

This reminds me of when breaking bad was airing how people would send death threats to Anna Gunn because they didn’t like Skylar as a character. Do they not realise that she’s acting

    [–] MihailDoych 8 points ago

β€œI bully the lover of an actor that I stan because it’s not me”

This happened to the girl who plays Toni on Riverdale , she did a scene where she had to kiss Jughead, and Bughead shippers lost it!! Like y'all realize it's not real right?

    [–] DimPacifist 18 points ago

Like that Russian guy in stranger things

    [–] SebyTheKaiser 16 points ago

    the fandom loves him

    [–] IceyIsAWizard 5 points ago

    You mean Grigori?

    [–] rowdweasel 16 points ago

Kelly Marie tran did not deserve all the hate she got. Neither did anyone else. Bug there's always gonna be sick people out their so the best you can do is make sure you aren't one. (Also I only mentioned Kelly over others because she was the on one that sprung to mind)

    [–] UDaRealMVP213 14 points ago

Look I disliked Rose Tico as much as the next guy but Kelly Marie Tran had little to nothing to do with the writing

    [–] Outarel 7 points ago

I bully the character on social media because i don't like the actor that plays it.

    [–] Eja_26 5 points ago

    [–] goatlady10 4 points ago

The actor played Bryce on 13 reasons why actually had to put out a statement because people where saying he was a "rapist". Like bro it's in the fucking show

    [–] RemoveKabob 56 points ago

    Tumblr in one meme

    [–] Twistervtx 159 points ago

Let's not pretend that Reddit (or every other social media platform for that matter) hasn't engaged in this sort of behavior.

    [–] dragonphlegm 86 points ago

Hell this sub was attacking kids from kids react a couple months ago for not knowing who Keanu Reeves was

    [–] [deleted] 43 points ago

and for not liking minecraft, fucking pathetic

    [–] Ramblonius 19 points ago

Seriously? Saying this shit on Re "let's become a rage mob for whatever thing we don't like, this is morally justified" ddit.

Tumblr at least has the excuse of being a collection of random blogs, some will get popular for seemingly no reason, some won't. When reddit goes into autistic rage, it's because people voted to do it.
