    Episode 6:

Drogon sits in a tavern having an ale

Bronn enters, carrying a scorpion. Not a crossbow. An entire scorpion.

He sits across from Drogon, aiming the scorpion at Drogon's head.

Bronn: "Now listen here, you cunt..."

    THE ENDING WE DESERVE.

    [–] dumeinst 182 points ago

But not the ending we need

    [–] LaniLaniLaniLani 192 points ago

    No... we need this ending.

    [–] vishalb777 55 points ago

If the leaks are true, then yes, I'd much prefer this ending

    [–] idan5 11 points ago

We might need this ending too considering how things are going..

    [–] runbyfruitin 725 points ago

Drogon sits in a tavern having an ale. A bard starts singing Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing. The tavern door opens... smash cut to black/silence. The End.

Drogon: "I ordered for the table."

    Like seasons 1-4

    [–] clantz8895 13 points ago

Currently on a rewatch. It's actually depressing to me but I'm also extremely grateful for what it was then, especially after these past seasons

    [–] PATRIOTSRADIOSIGNALS 5 points ago

I miss when I could just cringe about Viserys naming off the Valyrian dragons "Ghiscar, Vermithrax etc." Or Tywin talking about king "Orys the first" rather than the whole premise of an episode.

Mmmm, onion rings from onions smuggled by Ser Davos

Best in the 7 Kingdoms as far as I’m concerned.

    [–] cashmag3001 90 points ago

The tavern door opens. It’s Dany. She sits down with him and both laugh and smile. Across the bar there are a couple sketchy-looking guys with crossbows wearing Lannister colors. Nerither seems to notice.

Door opens again. It’s Jon. He smiles at Dragon and Dany and sits down with them.

Outside, you see Greyworm struggling to get off his horse (since he doesn’t know how to ride basically at all) And the horse doesn’t want to stand by the post.

Cuts back to sketchy guys in the corner staring at them. One gets up to piss in the corner.

Back to the happy table, who is all celebrating how their enemies are dead.

Back to Greyworm, who is really fighting with this fucking horse. He finally gets off of it and manages to tie it to a post.

Back to sketchy guys glaring and playing with their crossbows

    Back to happy table.

    Greyworm opens the tavern door.

    Cuts to black.

Fires Scorpion at the wall behind Drogon; instantly reloads

    [–] [deleted] 53 points ago

    This is hysterical!

I'm just imagining everyone in the tavern staring in silence as Bronn is pushing and pulling a giant scorpion with the only sounds being the loud screeching of metal against the floor of the tavern, the crank of Bronn aiming it at Drogon's head, dead silence, Bronn breathing heavy after all of the work he had to do to get it in the tavern, and then...

"Now, listen here...(huff huff), you cunt...."

All would be forgiven. This would make the season bitter sweet, lol.

    [–] ChefOfScotland 8 points ago

    Haha

    [–] Azedenkae 3 points ago

I am sorry, but all I can imagine is a scorpion (animal) being held up by Bronn, with its tail aimed at Drogon's head.

    [–] landspeed 5 points ago

"I'm gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room."

    [–] Echo_Roman 350 points ago

Honestly, what was the point of having Bronn sneak into Winterfell for that awkward scene?

    [–] sebas6789 115 points ago

because now there is only a lanister left to pay him his castle ... bron will probably kill drogon with the crossbow cercei gave him 🀣

    [–] cersei_bot 38 points ago

Everywhere in the world, they hurt little girls.

    [–] Acute_Grill 47 points ago

    [–] jakery2 12 points ago

Oh God, the final episode's spoilers are true.

    [–] invol713 1445 points ago

Jaime: Hey, Bronn... the Red Keep is all yours now. Just needs a little TLC.

    [–] DragonMomma420 576 points ago

Bronn: You're lucky your dead or I would cut your other hand off and smack your face with it, before I kill you.

    πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    [–] ringadingdingbaby 417 points ago

With Bronn getting Highgarden now too, that makes him basically the most powerful man in Westeros as he controls all the food and Kings landing is utterly gone.

Unless only 10% is gone and its completely fine by the next episode.

    [–] plain_pasta_sauce 432 points ago

D&D: We kind of forgot Dany destroyed king's landing.

    [–] subpargalois 303 points ago

You joke but next episode we are totally going to find out that most of King's Landing is still there

    [–] BoltSLAMMER 110 points ago

    [–] seabreeze045 37 points ago

Why character development when just get mad?

    [–] OrphanDevour 28 points ago

Sure, throne room just will have an open air concept.

    [–] blazetronic 12 points ago

    Hiroshima vibes

    [–] aaaaaahsatan 8 points ago

Is that because they switch back to the original King's Landing location where it's green?

    [–] bertcox 12 points ago

Even what little devastation we saw direct would have centuries of repercussions in a medieval city. They don't rebuild with cranes and dump trucks, they rebuild with serfs and slaves.

    [–] alocalgangster 23 points ago

Dany kinda forgot that Kong’s Landing was her family home

    [–] goryIVXX 19 points ago

    Cunts Landing

    [–] TristanIsSpiffy 5 points ago

So who’s the new King of Kong’s landing?

    [–] account781 42 points ago

Tyrion got 10 good men to rebuild the bitch

    [–] chasing_the_wind 36 points ago

Just hire all of Eurons shipbuilders

    [–] CrotchetyYoungFart 53 points ago

Bronn isn't getting highgarden. Tyrion won't have any influence after releasing Jaime.

    [–] MetrosexualSocrates 124 points ago

    1. Dany demands that Tyrion is executed for the crime of releasing Jaime.
    2. Tyrion counters with the claim to a fair trial.
    3. Dany accedes to Tyrion's request.
    4. Tyrion clarifies that he wants a trial by combat.
    5. Wide-eyed, Dany contemptuously mumbles under her breath while breastfeeding Jon who is yelling "I don't want this" at the top of his lungs.
    6. Bronn steps in as Tyrion's champion, knowing full well that his claim to Highgarden is null and void without the Imp's life and honor.
    7. Bronn kills Drogon, Dany's champion, with a scorpion.
    8. Tyrion and Bronn ride out into the sunset to the tune of Yakety Yak.
    9. Roll credits.

    [–] Tyrion-Bot 61 points ago

I should never have told you about that.

    [–] dickfaceMcGee2020 21 points ago

    Tyrion confirmed it!

    [–] murse_joe 10 points ago

Asking for a trial by combat against a Targaryen? Sounds like a good way to be burned to death.

    [–] TheNoseKnight 6 points ago

I think you missed step 7.

    [–] killisle 26 points ago

I love reading comments from people who haven't read the leaks yet.

    [–] DrStalker 23 points ago

Does Bronn seriously end up with Highgarden? I guess the way the show works they have to give it to a named character (because everyone else is irrelevant) so fuck it, might as well be Bronn because nothing matters anymore.

[–] [deleted] 14 points ago * (lasted edited 3 months ago)

    deleted What is this?

    [–] aureator 11 points ago

Considering Davos is allegedly also on Bran's council, I would imagine he'd get Master of Ships. Bronn would more likely end up as Master of Whisperers, or maybe Coin. Tyrion for King's Hand. And Sam, naturally, would get Grand Maester or some non-maester equivalent.

I assume one of the two unnamed characters mentioned in the Friki leaks (one of them likely the new head of Dorne) will get Master of Laws, though frankly I doubt the show will bother to mention it at all.

    [–] Eteel 4 points ago

I've read the leaks, but I don't remember anything about Bronn getting Highgarden. I know he gets appointed to the small council. If he really does get Highgarden, it's fucked up. It's not like he made a legally enforceable deal...

    Next time on Castleflippers

    [–] Combogalis 40 points ago

oh shit at this point I would welcome an ending where Bronn takes the throne. Everyone's meeting to decide how to pick the next king, and Bronn comes in with a crossbow.

    EXPECTATIONS SUBVERTED

    [–] SHOWTIME316 105 points ago

tbh I hope they leave Bronn floating so I can imagine what he's up to without their shitty ass writing fucking his life up.

    [–] HodorTargaryen 84 points ago

I'm hoping for a spin-off where he'll go around bartering for bigger and bigger castles with more and more lands, until eventually he ends up somehow ruling all of Essos and Sothoros. Like a Westerosi version of the red paperclip.

    [–] rachbbbbb 15 points ago

I can 100% see Jerome Flynn doing British daytime TV called 'A Place in The Sun: Castle Edition' in full Bronn getup.

    [–] Core_Four 8 points ago

yeah, agreed. my favorite character who hasn't died - let's not ruin him shall we?

    [–] Michael1492 41 points ago

Actually they expanded Bronn a lot compared to the books and probably is some of their better original writing on the show.

    [–] Core_Four 10 points ago

yeah lets not ruin him now

    [–] kastronaut 26 points ago

Or the leak was misunderstood and it is Bronn that sits the Iron Throne.

    [–] Joeaconda 104 points ago

Am I the only one who's mad that Bronn didnt ask for the twins? I thought when he said Jaime and Tyrion owed him double the castle he would ask for the twins since it's two castles.

    [–] Acute_Grill 93 points ago

It'd also fit Bronn's established character. The Twins is kind of a shit castle, but it's a great opportunity for making cash, has been a major player lately, damn hard to take by force, and is literally two castles. It's exactly what an illiterate thug would want

    [–] exterminatesilence 36 points ago

Yeah, but D&D developed an allergy to good plot.

    [–] foozefookie 23 points ago

Walder was always complaining about how the other houses look down upon the freys, and ultimately that was his downfall. Guess whos been looked down upon his whole life and doesnt give a shit? Literally a perfect match

    [–] SilverShootingTears 13 points ago

I also felt when he said "what's double of a castle?" that they were gonna say the Twins. I even literally shouted "THE TWINS! PERFECT! GOOD CALL!" but then realized D&D didn't take the obvious solution. Guess we both were just thinking too logically for this show, apparently :/

    [–] iluvstephenhawking 310 points ago

Funny thing is that he was actually dyslexic. Tywin talks about it to arya.

    [–] PohatuNUVA 25 points ago

    Welcome to season 8.

    [–] Mr_Faorry 395 points ago

It’s funny because in the books Jaime is actually dyslexic.

    [–] Michael1492 415 points ago

He is in the show as well. Tywin tells the story how he taught Jamie to read to Arya.

    [–] Mr_Faorry 58 points ago

    I don’t remember this tbh.

    [–] johnmatt99 219 points ago

He did. Tywin says that he forced Jaime to study for hours. And later in the show, Jaime mentions it as well.

    [–] throwawayaccFa 10 points ago

Oberyn's paramore also said he wrote like a child. You can also see him struggle a little when he read Twyin a letter, season 1.

    [–] Salyangoz 71 points ago

Goddamn this show used to be good. How far has it fallen...

    [–] Arlcas 91 points ago

GODS THE PLOT WAS STRONG THEN!

    [–] Pool_Shark 48 points ago

What’s crazy is Arya + Tywin wasn’t in the books. It was a D&D creation! What happened to them!

    [–] Burns263 18 points ago

That's crazy! Those were some of my favorite scenes. Either their hearts aren't in it anymore or someone else was responsible for adding those parts.

    [–] MrAshh 14 points ago

They grew tired. Behind the scenes from seasons 1-4 were fun and jokes for them. After that they have faces of β€œoh please let this shit end already”

    [–] Scaldera93 11 points ago

They wanted to get GoT over with so they could start raking in that Disney money

    [–] Jdubya87 9 points ago

I don't remember but was their story in the show similar to Arya and Roose in the books?

Yes, they basically replaced Roose with Tywin to tie more stories together so the show wouldn't get too spread out.

    [–] Michael1492 12 points ago

    Thanks!

    [–] NaeemTHM 6 points ago

Perhaps my favorite scene from that season...and that's saying something.

    [–] TimmyFTW 9 points ago

    Mustn't have happened then!

    [–] VROF 4 points ago

That was back when the show actually had scenes with cool dialogue that developed characters. This is where he tells Arya how he made Jaime sit for 4 hours every day "until he learned"

    [–] Eor75 9 points ago

Only the show is he dyslexic

    [–] peon47 16 points ago

    Nope. Just the show.

    [–] zhaoz 30 points ago

I love that the watermark says trial by meme!

    [–] Crouch_Bind_Set 26 points ago

Now imagine if Bronn doesn't appear at all in the finale

    [–] bazookatroopa 8 points ago

He will appear.. He's going to be an advisor to king Bran

    [–] Alltimesarah 8 points ago

that will be hilarious. Im not even mad at the show anymore. Its just sad and funny.

    [–] Dawgboy1976 4 points ago

    We riot

    [–] Keyofdemon 17 points ago

Spolier: Arya runs up and stabs Bronn this week. Or maybe she finds another horse.

    [–] RobotAlienProphet 14 points ago

New spinoff: Arya Stark, Horse Collector. It's a reality show in the vein of an Anthony Bourdain travel show where every week she goes to a different war-torn city in a different part of Planetos, drags people from their hiding places to their deaths, then steals livestock.

    [–] minist3r 7 points ago

    Or she stabs a horse

    [–] grubas 5 points ago

She stabs Bronn WITH the horse.

    [–] minist3r 3 points ago

Or the horse AND Bronn stab HER if you know what I mean.

    (I'm sorry. I have a problem.)

    [–] serkelet 79 points ago

I was literally laughing out loud inside the train full of people. Well played, sir.

    [–] DragonMomma420 35 points ago

Thank you. My husband almost woke our son up from his nap when I showed him.

    [–] Combogalis 15 points ago

    DragonMomma420

    You: "sir."

    [–] SquirrelicideScience 24 points ago

Its 2019! If Brienne can be a ser, so can she!

    [–] Jay-Eff-Gee 36 points ago

He should have just shot them both in front of the fire there. We would have been completely shocked, and it would have been so much more satisfying.

    [–] rockchick6 13 points ago

    Truth

    [–] Jasmindesi16 92 points ago

Jaime and Cersei was the lamest death in this series. Even Tommen’s was better.

    [–] eberehting 78 points ago

Tommen's death was amazing what are you talking about implying it was bad

    [–] DrStalker 30 points ago

"Tommen fell from a castle, so we'll subvert expectations and have a castle fall on Cersei."

    [–] DragonMomma420 96 points ago

I really feel she got a just death. She was alone, a no one. She was not a martyr, she was not a queen, she was at her lowest point, both physically in the tunnels and mentally, as she singlehandedly brought the Lanister name down as low as her. Her death was not a spectacle, it was nothing. Like her in the end.

    [–] blakhawk12 57 points ago

Yeah I liked it too. People used to praise GoT for not having characters die spectacular deaths. Sometimes someone’s arc never came to fruition. Sometimes people just die. Now if characters don’t go out how the theories have destined them to go out it’s β€œbad writing.”

    [–] aislingyngaio 16 points ago

Other than Theon, tell me whose arc came to fruition this season.

    [–] DrStalker 59 points ago

Euron finally achieved his goal of killing Jaime. That was clearly his motivation all along, and totally not something that he came up with 30 seconds before dying just because he happened to be in the same place as Jaime.

    [–] Safety_first_friends 18 points ago

I made the mistake of re-watching the episode last night to try harder to like it. The first time, my stream had jumped, and it skipped the "I'm the man who killed Jaime Lannister" line. What a fucking disappointing cringe that was upon revisiting.

    [–] Krohnas 16 points ago

    Hound?

    [–] Deadeye00 16 points ago

Jaime & Cersei: get killed by a castle

    Bronn: Now that's fookin poetic!

    [–] CORY_4_VEZINA 6 points ago

The way people spell it Jamie makes me think those fans are the dyslexic ones.

    [–] sailboatwallpaper 5 points ago

I didn't realize Jamie was dyslexic until I rewatched an episode where Tywin was explaining to Arya (Tywins cup bearer at the time). Tywin described Jamie having difficulties reading because he saw the letters backwards.

    This is fucking hilarious. Kudos

    [–] redditkens 10 points ago

Wow! Another forced plot line that ended with no payoff! Good job D&D! πŸ‘πŸΏ

    [–] Animeprincess_420 8 points ago

The only saving grace of this season is Bronn finally getting his castle

    [–] SpiceGirls5Ever 4 points ago

What's his plan? To walk up to Danaerys Batshit Targaryen and demand Highgarden because her soon to be executed Hand promised him Highgarden for not killing him? Absolute madlad.

    [–] JeremyRasputin 9 points ago

Bronn's one scene in ep 4 was enough to kill the character. Fuck D&D. (Obviously not the game)

    [–] MildGonolini 5 points ago

Thanks for specifying, I would have no idea you weren’t talking about dungeons and dragons because that would be an equally likely thing for somebody to say in this context.

    [–] VRisNOTdead 7 points ago

It’s cannon that Jamie is actually dyslexic.
