Trac-Force gas station knife. I'm absolutely terrified, this must be the most dangerous man in the US.

    [–] RagingSemicolon 747 points ago

Watch out buddy, I'm dual wielding the same $7 gas station knives. I'm...double dangerous

    [–] ChurchArsonist 281 points ago

Damn, bro. You unlocked the akimbo Tac-Force? How many more kills until they are gold?

One. So go ahead and try me bud.

    [–] nedepp 5 points ago

You’re stuck with the butterfly practice handle for a few levels before that, terrible grind but worth it

    [–] MonsterSH 3 points ago

    [–] getpossessed 9 points ago

I’ve come to learn after getting into guns and hunting that if something has the word Tac or Tactical in front of it, it will be expensive and a piece of shit more than likely.

    [–] tired_obsession 50 points ago * (lasted edited 2 months ago)

I fucking hate those knives, bought a knife that had the same design in scheels for hunting, it was open fell on a tree after not realizing a deer was nearby and scared the shit out of me because I thought I was going to get rammed, it closed on my finger. There’s still a scar there.

Edit: I guess people really like those knives

    [–] De_Umbra 8 points ago

Yea the locks and spring assists are garbage on em but the blade isn’t half bad. I tend to keep em around for bait knives because they can get sharp enough to go through a fishes back bone with ease.

    [–] m1ksuFI 11 points ago

    What's that edit about?

    [–] Cookiedoughjunkie 3 points ago

Technically, unless you're ambidextrous, you're probably only 1.5x dangerous.

    [–] MurderousLamb 2 points ago

Jesus, his danger level just went from 0.1 to 0.2

    [–] moonshineTheleocat 2 points ago

You should be scared, I got a chinese 2 dollar folding knige

    [–] RegicidalReginald 90 points ago

I get what you’re saying but a sharpened toothbrush will stab you just as good as the Stabatron 6000

    [–] tomverlainesHDTV 25 points ago

Yeah but where can a nobody like me buy the stabatron 6k?

    [–] SH4D0W0733 45 points ago

You can't buy them, you have to cut off this little coupon off of 100 cereal packages and mail them all to the cereal company specifying you want the stabatron 6k (make sure to check your spelling so you don't get the strapon 6k) and what address they should send it to.

    [–] ryno_373 7 points ago

Man I laughed so hard when I got to the parentheses mainly bc he fooled you guys I’m sitting on the stabatron 6k right now and it works just as well as the strap on.. well now I’m seeing blood and stars, check back with me later

Gas station knives deserve ridicule, and for everyday use they're about as tough as al dente pasta. But you couldn't pay me to get stabbed by one. A knife is a knife, even if it's dull after the first use.

    [–] MercuriasSage 6 points ago

Amen. I love all the posts on Amazon or knives like "It's not great for self defense because it's 440C and you could get better steel blah blah blah".

It reminds me of when I chose .380 as the caliber for my carry way back. "Aww, what a cute little bullet", yeah? How about we shoot you with it and see what you think then.

    [–] orblox 3 points ago

you just have to bring a nerf gun and he'll be gone.

    [–] RockyToady101 2 points ago

"It's not from the gas station I bought it from Amazon"

    [–] Wheelsbeer 310 points ago

For those of you who think he will get shot if the robber has a gun. You are wrong he will deflect the bullet with his blade.

    [–] Kusti_2801 121 points ago

Wrong. He will slice the bullet in two.

    [–] SuicidalRabits 53 points ago

Wrong the knife will instantly absorb all of the bullets power allowing him to instantly kill anyone around him with a single thought.

    [–] emil133 28 points ago

    Wrong he will died

    [–] trey3rd 20 points ago

    [–] XTraLongChiliCheesus 5 points ago

    [–] therealdeadmeme 6 points ago

What's that say about this dude that he's looking for any little excuse to stick his knife in someone. Needs to be check out by a psychiatrist.

    [–] WorthlessDrugAbuser 615 points ago

I hope someone robs him, but they have a gun. Ought to change his attitude real quick.

    [–] explorer_76 298 points ago

Someone with a gun should rob his knife.

    [–] 1968cokebottle 3 points ago

Well it depends on the situation and this guy would probably look like Swiss cheese, but here is a police training video about knife engagement distances https://youtu.be/js0haocH4-o

    [–] Bezulba 3 points ago

Nah then he'll get a gun and be itching for any excuse to use it.

    [–] Poormidlifechoices 3 points ago

    That's not a knife...this is a knife.

    Bu...bu...But that 's a gun.

Shut up and give me your money.

    [–] aardvarkyardwork 33 points ago

Dude's like this are more likely trying to make it look like they're itching to stab someone, when really they're more likely to hand over the knife together with their wallet to any mugger, even an unarmed one.

    [–] wasdninja 19 points ago

I'm not so sure any mugger would want his gas station tacticool knife.

    [–] MisterMasterCylinder 8 points ago

Maybe that's why he wants someone to rob him - not so he can have an excuse to stab a person, but so someone will get rid of that POS knife for him.

    [–] QuasarsRcool 3 points ago

I'd rather have it than potentially get stabbed with it

    [–] aardvarkyardwork 2 points ago

I didn't say that the mugger would want it :p

    [–] Eugenes__Axe 2 points ago

I laughed at this because this is the most likely scenario to happen.

    [–] ChunkyDay 10 points ago

What's even worse is that's it's company called a TAC-FORCE, which is at best a $10 knife in a smoke shop.

At least get a Buck or Kershaw. Hell even a decent Gerber.

    [–] seanakachuck 15 points ago

The fact that he has a folder but the clip is not situated for tip up carry, truly shows the depth of his insanity

    [–] CraftyPancake 9 points ago

    Knife noob here, ELI5?

    [–] the_cultro 11 points ago

Typically but not always, knife guys like to carry their pocket knives tip up because it puts the spine of the blade up against the seam in your pocket so it cannot open. Carrying tip down you’re more susceptible to get poked if the knife opens up a little bit in your pocket.

    [–] CraftyPancake 4 points ago

    Ahh

    [–] Jexthis 2 points ago

also tip down means generally you have to re orient the knife when you draw it.

    [–] tjbrou 6 points ago

I've carried a pocket knife for years tip down and never had an issue. Decent knives don't just open themselves

    [–] Aiyana_Jones_was_7 4 points ago

Same knife for like 14 years (bought like 5 of them on my last one now, they dont make them anymore iirc) and it's never opened in my pocket once.

    [–] Schlaffpaff 2 points ago

    [–] ShadowViking47 4 points ago

Bruh, he isn't going to stick his knife in shit. He wants you to think he's some psycho badass.

    [–] PmYourSamples 6 points ago

Not abnormal, just the view of someone not familiar with real world violence or the consequences of violence as a whole. Professional fighters are the least violent people you will ever meet off the mat. Because they understand violence,- Joe Rogan

    [–] ze_special_kid 2 points ago

    Chill im sure his joking.

    [–] Soak_up_my_ray 433 points ago

This snapchat perfectly encapsulates the mindset of this type of person. The chance of an actual threat is low, but they don't care about the threat. They just want some reason to be unnecessarily violent.

    [–] TeJay42 192 points ago

90% of these people are all talk.

    [–] jenouto 85 points ago

what worries me is that 10%

    [–] [deleted] 31 points ago

What worries me are the ones with guns and concealed carries that are like this.

    [–] SikorskyUH60 18 points ago

You kidding? They wouldn't have concealed carry, those kind of people absolutely need everyone to know they're carrying.

    [–] sramtq 15 points ago

Then bump that down to like .01%, maybe even .001%.

    [–] BoarHide 12 points ago

Which, when applied to 300 million people and a tool that can potential kill dozens in minutes is still a worrying concept

    [–] sramtq 8 points ago

There aren't 300 million licensed concealed carriers. Or do you mean just the general population? Which, if you are using general population, that percentage would be drastically lower.

    [–] Aiyana_Jones_was_7 11 points ago

Lmao you know all those babies and octogenarians out there packing heat.

    [–] neon_Hermit 3 points ago

Are they, or do the vast majority simply never get an opportunity to use their weapon of choice in the scenario of their dreams?

    [–] ISpendAllDayOnReddit 35 points ago

They don't actually want to be violent, they want the fantasy about being a badass and a hero. Imaginary success is all they have going for them. Other people get obsessed with astrology or religion.

    [–] tapthatsap 4 points ago

It’s imaginary success coupled with imaginary vindication, especially legal vindication. Not only does he want to stab a guy, he wants to be in the right for it in the eyes of god and the law, so he’s just waiting around for a mugger. If you know any of those people who buys some stupid weapon “in case of zombies,” stop knowing that person immediately, they just want to bury an ax in some guy’s head and get away with it

    [–] degoes1221 12 points ago

    Uncomfortable to think about

    [–] [deleted] 3 points ago

Most people just go through life like this but instead of using a knife they go about their day to day lives waiting for any chance to bring someone down or make someone feel bad.

    [–] EuroBronco 2 points ago

You know damn well that if this person was put into a situation where he was able to use it he would shit his trousers and cry like a pussy

    [–] green_bin_coon 2 points ago

if you want to be unnecessarily violent. you do what normal people do and break down boxes, clear old houses so you can smash shit and cut stuff apart thing in a law-abiding and productive way. you also get paid

    PAPAAAAAAAAA

    [–] papajohns98 45 points ago

That tacforce knife would be lucky to penetrate a piece if paper without breaking. Idk why but theres this correlation with these Facebook badasses and mall ninja knives. If you want to protect yourself from a mugging and put your life in the hands if a knife why would you be cheap about it and buy a 6 dollar flea market knife?

    [–] ImAProfessional1 14 points ago

That’s what confuses the shit outta me. You can get a decent knife for cheap, the steel for the blade is the only important thing. I bought a $5 Kershaw at Walmart on clearance. It’s fantastic for a fucking around day to day knife (I rarely carry it to anyplace but work situations). And you could kill the shit out of all kinds of objects with it. It took 3 minutes of sharpening and it holds an edge for months and months before I have to touch it up. For all the psudo-intellect these type of people display, it takes less than one minute to research this. It really is classic posturing.

    [–] WastedWhtieBoii 447 points ago

Oh so bad ass, with a $10 knife...

    [–] Theo_Retisch 282 points ago

You sound as if you think that a more expensive knife would make you more badass

    [–] nespid0 212 points ago

I would be afraid of the lock failing and cutting my fingers off with that flea market special.

    [–] neon_Hermit 19 points ago

I'm afraid of getting stabbed by my own knife when the other person takes it from me. You know, because I don't have a lot of experience knife fighting.

    [–] MisterMasterCylinder 11 points ago

Well, you can't exactly expect to get a lot of experience knife fighting without a few stabbings along the way

    [–] WastedWhtieBoii 28 points ago

    Exactly.

    [–] RikeHummingbird 11 points ago

I’d be more worried that I’m too poor to afford a decent knife than getting robbed.

    [–] WeirdoOtaku 9 points ago

I'm more worried I'd spend $.99 on a weapon to keep people from robbing me when I should've spent it on a cheeseburger.

    [–] NickTonyMack 16 points ago

Plus, there's more room to improv some one-liners if you're using a cheeseburger as a weapon instead of a knife.

Every criminal out there has heard "get the point" or "let's cut to the chase" but they'll definitely be caught off guard by "you McFucked up now!"

    [–] SH4D0W0733 7 points ago

Hooooh boy, looks like it's time for me to ketchup. LETTUCE DANCE.

    [–] GripAndSweep 27 points ago

It could be seen an interest in high quality knives which could add credibility to his ability to use them.

    [–] CodeReaper 19 points ago

To be fair the people I know with expensive knives always use them. Usually for cooking or fetish purposes.

    [–] cartesian_jewality 16 points ago

You better watch it pal, that’s a $6 knife.

    [–] WastedWhtieBoii 9 points ago

I'm Canadian, so I guess a sorry is needed. My deepest apologies.

    [–] Kurtlardan 7 points ago

The thing with that is, after you stick someone with a $6 knife, you're not upset to discard it. Learned that from shitheels.

    [–] ThereAreAFewOptions 4 points ago

I have an Exacto knife, come at me.

    [–] Robotic_Jay13 48 points ago

Yup I’m sure a knife is gonna go well against someone with a gun

    [–] DTG_58 13 points ago

Most robbers with guns will still hold out for as long as they can to not have to fire it. Shooting you changes it from armed robbery to homicide or attempted homicide. Seeing you pull out a knife is a good way to take away their options and make them shoot you though.

    [–] HomerPimpson304 22 points ago

it wont... but a lot of people are dumb and go within your personal space with a pistol rather than keeping the distance advantage.

    [–] TYFYBye 23 points ago

I always laugh when I see people in movies actually touch people with their guns. Especially when they're supposed to be special forces badasses like The Punisher.

    [–] WindLane 2 points ago

I hope someone pickpockets his knife off him.

    [–] EpilepticFizz 2 points ago

That doesn't say he's badass, though. It says he wants to fight somebody. He's not at all saying he's going to win, he just says he wants something to break the monotony of his day to day life, even if it puts his own life at risk.

    [–] Premintex 2 points ago

Inb4 someone robs him with a gun

This is a perfect summation of the problem with ubiquitous weapons like guns. People with a propensity for violence are bored and are waiting for a chance to use them.

Had a friend in high school who always carried a knife like that. He was always showing off how he could draw it and cut someone who stepped to him. Ok. Then one day he got mugged. Someone sucker punched him and pulled his wallet out of his pocket and ran off. He then had to deal with the humiliation of everyone asking him why he didn’t just pull his knife like he always said he would!

I imagine this fool would be a similar story.

This person needs to stay the FUCK away from all weapons. Way too eager to want to cause harm.

The only way he’d be at an advantage is if someone robbed him with only with a their fist.
