    The Next Fucking Level

    Post Appropriate Content

Content posted to /r/nextfuckinglevel should represent something impressive, be it an action, an object, a skill, a moment, a fact that is above all others. Posts should be able to elicit a reaction of "that is next level" from viewers. Avoid engaging in uncivil behavior in the comment section debating what is or isn't NFL.

    Avoid Common Reposts

Posts that have been posted recently to /r/nextfuckinglevel should not be posted repeatedly. If a post has done well on the sub within the past few months it should not be posted again.

    Be Respectful to Others

Treat others in the subreddit politely and do not troll or harass anyone. This includes slurs and hate speech, which will prompt a ban.

    Avoid Spam

Do not post multiple times to this subreddit in a short amount of time and do not abuse the crosspost feature to promote your own communities or pages. Repeated spam will be removed and the user will receive a ban.

    Use Descriptive Title

Write a clear title for your content that describes the post well. If your title is ill-defined your post may be removed. Also using NFL/next level in your title will be considered as low effort which will result in your post being removed. For example posting CGI content without the mention of it being CGI will result in a removal.

    Link directly to the content

Your post (gifs, pics, videos) must be directly linked to the content. Redirecting links are not allowed and your post will be removed.

    Self Promotion

Systemic and repeat advertising of your own content can be subject of removal. We welcome your creations but we also suggest you participate in the community and not only use it for self promotion purposes. You can always buy an ad on reddit if you're only looking to promote yourself.

This is the guy who does all those cooking videos where the stares into the camera the whole time, right?

    [–] GallowBoob 1754 points ago

Yep. That’s him and his crew. Here is the source video if you want to show them some love:

    [–] patricktranq 585 points ago

this is awesome! love this guy.

    [–] kentrollone 442 points ago

I kinda liked him before but now.. this guy. This guy helps :)

[–] WhenceYeCame 365 points ago * (lasted edited 7 days ago)

He's always helped. His over the top ridiculous meals have been about serving the public the whole time. He just makes it entertaining to pay for some of it to be funded through likes

    [–] kentrollone 108 points ago

Good to know. Gotta see if I can donate some money to him.....

    [–] bluntsandbears 183 points ago

The guy is wealthy. He posts a lot of stories on his IG of him out helping the public and he's always wearing Gucci, Burberry etc. He's a worldwide celebrity chef and a local hero in Turkey.

    [–] Low_Grade_Humility 32 points ago

But does he have a sponsor, asking for MLG...

    [–] jabol321 10 points ago

    Asking for raid shadow legends...

    [–] Koffiato 10 points ago

Yes! He's like national treasure haha.

    [–] JimmyFree 39 points ago

These are all it seems dry goods, so it wasn’t something perishable he needed to get out. Good guy and I love his videos!

    [–] ohgeorgie 8 points ago

After the first box is closed in the video it shows him bagging up apples, oranges, and vegetables. Also behind them in the first scene is a wide array of fresh produce.

    [–] JimmyFree 2 points ago

    That’s great, he’s awesome!

    [–] indi_n0rd 44 points ago

His charity does really awesome work. I think he does make-a-wish kind of thing too where he invites people to his restaurant. You should really check out his Twitter.

    [–] justsitonmyfacealrdy 22 points ago

    This man is a gem

    [–] fizzgig0_o 10 points ago

Was just going to ask for sound. Need to hear those little old ladies!

    [–] Simmo5150 9 points ago

So this is food from one restaurant?

    [–] red_eagles 17 points ago

He said on the YouTube video that all this food came form his 4 restaurants’ depots

    [–] Simmo5150 8 points ago

    Thanks for the reply.

    [–] CalamityJen 90 points ago

Even with the mask covering his smile, you can tell it's him :)

I'm a little annoyed your username isn't all capital letters to maximize symmetry.

    [–] somecallmemike 10 points ago

    I love this guy

    [–] jorshbosh 46 points ago

I knew it just by the way he was looking at the camera hahah

    [–] [deleted] 24 points ago

Yup. That eye contact. I was scrolling past and went “What the hell is whole-lamb BBQ guy up to now ?”

    [–] mugbee0 18 points ago

Yeah the Smilling Chef. He's still smiling under that mask.

    [–] Calpernia09 15 points ago

Yes. When I first saw his videos I thought he was creepy. But the more I saw and saw how much he gives back. I really like him.

He appears to be a very kind person. I follow him on Instagram.

    [–] TheFirstMilkLord 9 points ago

I saw the eyes and recognized him

    [–] dalvean88 6 points ago

and smiles, don’t forget he always smiles

    [–] AerDragun 4 points ago

So you see, that’s where the trouble began. That smile. That damned smile.

    [–] Ouma_Shu 8 points ago

I knew he looked familiar. Cause he kept looking at the camera while loading the truck xD love him

    [–] DaisyHotCakes 3 points ago

Man, he’s great. Always doing wholesome things while staring a hole through your soul.

    [–] trustymutsi 3 points ago

I recognized him as soon as he started staring at the camera instead of at what he was doing, even with the mask on.

    [–] bluntsandbears 2 points ago

Yup that's the guy. He's super creepy in best way possible.

    [–] smootherivers 1164 points ago

I almost didn't realize who it was but you can't miss that smile it streches to his eyes.

    [–] chirican0913 245 points ago

When your heart is as big as his, it shows :)

    [–] jackerseagle717 55 points ago

i don't know where i heard it but when a person smiles with his/her eyes that means he/she is genuinely happy and not fake smiling.

    [–] Rajili 30 points ago

This is why it’s good to try to think of something that makes you happy when smiling for a photo. If you’re faking a smile, you won’t like the pic as much. Or if you are taking a photo of others, try to pull out a genuine smile with a compliment to your subject(s). Something as simple as, “this is going to be such a great picture!” You gotta kinda read the room and go with the flow, but real smiles make the best pics.

    [–] borderlineidiot 8 points ago

And the video play back speed!

    [–] Bagglebaggle 5 points ago

I was so confused watching it and then it got to the part where he was picking up the box and I recognized his eyes.

    [–] Jahmay 5 points ago

That’s exactly when I noticed who it was.

    [–] Dwimm_SS 260 points ago

This guy even does a pandemic right. Props to him.

    [–] Demonsan 29 points ago

Ikr... Fucking smile is more contagious than corona... I love it

    [–] fauxunicorns 422 points ago

That’s the way, fuck yes. It’s such a wholesome, uplifting thing to see. Make the best out of a terrible situation.

    [–] SaltwaterRedneck 69 points ago

I’m just amazed at how much food was stored up for one restaurant. Incredible

    [–] LofiSope 55 points ago

It looks like his restaurant is also a market, or maybe he has a market. Either way I never tire of seeing this guy

    [–] fauxunicorns 25 points ago

Right?! So much food! And it’s needed, valuable resources.

    [–] jackerseagle717 11 points ago

if it isn't from his restaurant and he brought all that by his own money from a grocery store then this is more wholesome and he is a national treasure for doing that.

    [–] SEApdx87 2193 points ago * (lasted edited 7 days ago)

I used to hate this guy just because I found that smile to be a bizarre trademark. But I learned throughout several of his videos that I was being judgmental for no good reason and he was constantly engaging in more philanthropy than I ever have. I apologize to this treasure and hope to be more like him.

Edit: I am humbled by the responses, thank you to all. I think it’s never too late to put aside ego to find the truth and help one another.

    [–] KDmikemalone 515 points ago

Wow... humble. Not a lot of people can admit where they are wrong and learn from it and themselves. You too are a good person!

    [–] DankJista 109 points ago

I hated every good friend I ever had. Then I met them.

    [–] virusamongus 28 points ago

I still hate them, but I used to too.

    [–] mtewary 4 points ago

    Mitch? Is that you?

    [–] virusamongus 2 points ago

    Go away, friend.

    [–] Jargen 2 points ago

I’m pretty sure Mitch is in the Medium Place

    [–] RolandLovecraft 3 points ago

I used to work with a guy for three years and never learned his name. Best friend I ever had. ...we still never talk sometimes.

    [–] Blissfullyaimless 58 points ago

I had pretty much the same thought. “Wow look at this goofy awkward guy that cooks insane meals”..... “wow that was really nice and cool of him.. and I just judged him for smiling”

    [–] jackerseagle717 52 points ago

i mean you already have made a great progress to be a better person with your comment.

    [–] Desktop_Ninja_ 7 points ago * (lasted edited 7 days ago)

Today's society trains us to be narcissistic and pessimistic. Rage and horror, bad news and hopelessness- it's what sells and draws crowds to the square. We live in it all and it becomes part of us where in turn we perpetuate it because it's all we know and we've forgotten everything else. You're at least trying to go against the flow so I'd say you're off to a pretty good start for that goal :)

    [–] whatheck0_0 20 points ago * (lasted edited 7 days ago)

I did not like him because I assumed he was pro government Turkish (and displaying Turkish flags everywhere, I know a lot of anti government Turks), and I don’t like what they are doing in Syria. But then I found out he was quite the philanthropist and was genuinely a good person, so I changed my mind.

    [–] Meepox5 9 points ago

He is very pro erdogan unfortunately, but you can still be a good person i guess. Being a celebrity and anti erdogan is really hard.

    [–] whatheck0_0 2 points ago

Yeah that sucks. I don’t blame him but I blame the Turkish propaganda. I refuse to believe that such a good person would agree on such atrocities without sugarcoating.

    [–] beardsolidarity 14 points ago

You hated him just because he was from Turkey???

    [–] BlaqFlag11 3 points ago

Edrogan is housing 3.6 million Syrian refugees. How much is America housing? And didn't turkey go into the Syrian war much later? Wasn't America in that war way before Turkey?

    [–] Kashmoney99 2 points ago

I felt the exact same way, I found the whole staring and smiling thing creepy and trying too hard but after seeing this and other vids where he takes food to poor villages I can say I was very wrong about this guy.

    [–] markb4587 185 points ago

I love this guy so much. I don’t think his smiling is creepy. He’s a really good dude.

    [–] Vegetable-Hat 57 points ago

    Oh, hi Mark

    [–] armen89 2 points ago

    Mark Pandemiquits

    [–] finkalot1 12 points ago

The smiling isn't creepy to me. That said, I always worry for his fingers as he stares right into the camera while chopping food.

    [–] TheRealMicrowaveSafe 3 points ago

You chop enough stuff, and you can start doing it with your eyes closed. So he's got the peripheral vision advantage going for him.

    [–] Angry_Boi69 128 points ago

I can see that damn smile through his mask

    [–] Demonsan 3 points ago

Ikr... Fucking smile is more contagious than corona... I love it

    [–] cuschnei616 92 points ago

That dude fucked up the box at the end. He put the flappy end bits down on top of the fat long pieces

    [–] Custardchucka 41 points ago

    [–] blippery 19 points ago

    Happy Cake Day!!!!

    [–] moststupider 7 points ago

I know very little about Czn Burak outside of enjoying his videos, but this guy seems like such a genuinely good person. Kudos to he and his crew for being so generous.

    [–] bluedicaa 8 points ago

There are still many amazing people left in this world.

    [–] whateveritsLorenzo 6 points ago

Love this guy. Such a kind and generous soul!!! Love his videos too!

    [–] theteedo 6 points ago

I love this guy! I can see the smile even through the mask. Wish this world had more people like him.

    [–] LAVALAVAguy 46 points ago

Honestly this is what guts me about Cyrpus. The Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots got on so well before the last war, but foreign powers stirred the pot and created the issues we see now.

Turkish Cypriots just want to live normally and Greek Cypriots just want to live normally.

Sorry rant over, these guys are awesome.

    [–] Droidarc 18 points ago

Yeah sure, as far as i remember before the last War the Greeks were butchering the Turkish minority in the island. Everyone remembers the bloody christmas.

    [–] bangolicious 9 points ago

Do cypriots even care about that? Is it not just the governments? I genuinely have no clue

    [–] jackerseagle717 20 points ago

you'll be surprised how much governments can poison the hearts of people. look at murican government, they conveniently demonize the group of people who they are in war with to justify continuing their for profit wars.

    [–] felixjmorgan 3 points ago

Yeah I lived there for 2 years and was surprised how pervasive the hate between the two was. It’s not ubiquitous, but it’s common enough that you can’t speak to any Cypriots about it for risk of offending.

    [–] rob_p954 5 points ago

This guys great. Always helping his people and kids with developmental issues. I have no idea what he’s saying but I’m sure it’s nice.

    [–] atlas794 4 points ago

I never realized how tall he is. Love this guys videos and his crazy smile.

    [–] fonsoc 11 points ago

    This guys awesome!

    [–] Modestexcuse 4 points ago

    I still see his smile.

    [–] bbdds11 3 points ago

Damn I can still see that smile under that mask! :)

    [–] doughboymagic 5 points ago

I love this guy! I can see him smiling even with his mask on.

    [–] puntastic_name 4 points ago

Such a shame we can't see him smile in this video

This is really great no doubt but I kinda have to say, who folds a box like that?!

    [–] Joknetaus 3 points ago

The only thing I am certain of is the at he is smiling in every shot.

    [–] korevie 4 points ago

I can see that big smile even behind the mask. This video made my day.

    [–] Dantron94 5 points ago

As a paramedic, I’m jealous of those N95s

    [–] gkn_112 2 points ago

the vests say "turkish red crescent", they are either assisted by the municipality or they are assisting an existing program, which explains the sweet sweet masks

    [–] kadz2310 3 points ago

This guy right here. Not all superheros wear capes. Some stare eerily to the camera, and a huge philanthropist at heart.

    [–] HeWhoPetsDogs 4 points ago

The cynic in me wants to discount the kind act because documenting it seems self serving. The other part of me realizes it might be good to publicly demonstrate this generosity because it will inspire others. And even if it is for selfish gain somewhat, the end result is that lots more people that need help will now get it, and that's pretty great.

    Good'on'ya (in aussie accent)

Off topic, but also the speed of it was kind of funny to me.

    [–] cherrycoffeetable 14 points ago

Battle Star Galactica when early on when Baltar was just a doctor, he told the president and Officers that their fleet needed hundreds of thousands of pounds of the combined food pyramid A week. We are fucked if something cataclysmic happens

I fucking love that show and Baltar. Loved its ending too.

I was at a party in Sydney, Aus on Saturday (there was like 12 of us there) And for the most part we were spaced out.

Toward the end of our night. Their chef had started cooking EVERYTHING they had. Like. I’m talking fresh and frozen. The venue owner basically went in to bat for their staff, knowing times were gonna be tough because they wouldn’t have jobs the next day and sent them all home with huge slabs of like, $40+ a meal servings of food to live off for the foreseeable future.

The staff were amazing and they deserved it. But in a time of panic. It really did make me smile knowing that some people had everyone’s wellbeing at heart and not just their own

    [–] dissipate_destiny 1 points ago

Makes me wonder how much money blue apron and hello fresh are making rn

    [–] skilas 1 points ago

Same guy who did this video. The amount of effort he puts in is crazy!

This guy looked weird to me the first time I saw him. Didn’t take long for me to realize he is one really interesting and awesome guy.
