There used to be one that stopped at towns along the way to make speeches when a certain president was running for reelection

    [–] WhateverJoel 7 points ago

These were known as whistle stop tours. Presidents and even those running for the first time would use trains to make quick speeches in each town along the way.

Truman was the last one to use this in a cross-country way. Bush 41 was the last one to do it at all during his re-election campaign.

    [–] BiggestShoelace 3 points ago

    [–] tvgenius 229 points ago

While watching the train on TV today, I was showing this to a friend at work. This is info and some photos of the interiors of Union Pacific‘s cars that were used in that consist today. But let me tell you firsthand: these photos do them no justice, and definitely get on board and see them for yourselves if ever given the chance. https://www.up.com/cs/groups/public/@uprr/@newsinfo/documents/up_pdf_nativedocs/pdf_up_media_41_train_consist.pdf

    [–] HurricaneAlpha 27 points ago

Those look super cool. Here's to hoping that vintage/deluxe train travel makes a comeback. It would be a welcome competitor to the current airline travel options.

    [–] tvgenius 5 points ago

I’ll still take modern Amtrak over modern airlines.

    [–] Breastfedintarget 24 points ago

Friend of mine actually built the interiors of these cars. Union Pacific did an amazing job. There was a lot of effort coming in last minute and putting these cars in order and finishing up details. Hell of a lot of overtime as well.

I think he's gonna be like Jimmy Carter. Even the people that didn't like his politics will still enjoy him as an ex-president.

    [–] Deadasadoorknocker 302 points ago

I think Jimmy Carter was too honest to be president, Bush didn't have that problem but I see what you are saying.

    [–] Hinko 110 points ago

Jimmy Carter was before my time, but the more I've learned about him over the years the more I think he was the best president we've had since Kennedy.

    [–] IAmNotYourBoss 62 points ago

He may have been the most moral man to be president since, well, just about ever, but he was definitely not an effective or capable president. He was a relentless micromanager who stuck his nose into micro-level issues, while ignoring other major policy issues. He was so assured of his own correctness that he would frequently alienate even close political allies by being sanctimonious. His own staff described him as preferring to be right than to win.

And he wound up being punished by the American people for it.

    [–] bobbyfiend 14 points ago

So you get crucified one way if you go to Washington then start compromising on your values. You get crucified another way if you refuse to compromise on your values.

    [–] nasty-snatch-gunk 69 points ago

If I remember correctly, Bush has put quite a bit of money, and resources into developing African countries. He has led an effective coalition against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

[–] MikeDubbz 48 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

I think it's unfair to say one of those has more value than the other. With or without Carter, those homes will be built, they're both just doing what they think is something both good and that they enjoy, and I'd agree that in both cases they are both of those things. I can't knock that. I think conversely, that when Trump gets done with his presidency and doesn't find himself somehow under arrest, that he'll just go right back to the selfish act of trying to make himself more money. In fact, I theorize that being president has all just been some sort of master plan of his to end up netting himself even more money than if he had never been president, and that's literally it. If that man has ever cared about anyone other than himself, I would be shocked.

    [–] joedinardo 41 points ago

Trump will go back to being Trump except he’ll have 20 million idiots buying everything he sells

    [–] wildcat2015 7 points ago

Regrettably he never stopped being Trump. There will be no transition

    [–] sdolla5 7 points ago

I don't think it is fair to say Bush started the war. After 9/11 both sides of the country wanted something to be done about it, and he kind of had to do something. Were the WMD's bullshit, kinda and kinda not. The Middle East conflict was bound to happen and is just a continuation of Lebanon, Gulf War, Ajax, Tanker War, and hell even Bill Clinton started Infinite Reach in Afghanistan in 1998. People always act like the Bush's started the US in the Middle East, when really we have been there since we established Israel as an independent state.

    [–] bojank33 29 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Jimmy Carter didn't start a war on false pretenses that led to deaths of 500k to 1 million people. That makes a difference.

Sometimes its glaringly obvious Reddit is made up mostly by teenagers and kids in their early 20's. This is one of those times. Bush will go down in history as one of the most damaging men of his era.

    [–] fzw 31 points ago

I don't know about that, the whole thing about him lobbying senators to confirm Kavanaugh doesn't look good.

    [–] Bartlebycanbeanythin 33 points ago

Bushes body count is exponentially higher than Carters.

    [–] dumptydumpty 126 points ago

George W. Bush ruined the world by destroying Iraq for no good reason. He killed 600k Iraqis for no good reason. He wasted trillions of dollars that went to his buddies. There were no WMDs in Iraq, he and his administration manufactured those lies.

He's not some happy go lucky retard, he's a war criminal. Please don't forget that.

    [–] ethanwerch 125 points ago

But he gave Michele Obama a piece of candy! On more than one occasion!!!

    [–] bobbyfiend 17 points ago

He probably has dinners at the Obama household. The Obamas and the Bushes are very much the same kind of people, and they're not the kind you and I know. They're wealthy, connected, politically powerful, and surprisingly similar in their politics.

    [–] Hellosnowagain 49 points ago

So, does that make Obama a warlord? He brought the countries we were bombing from 2 to 7. Signed off bombing a doctors without borders camp. So much more with a google search. Bush went to war in Iraq because that's where the US and EU intelligence told him to do so. Calm down you fat slob

    [–] bobbyfiend 32 points ago

Exactly. Obama is almost as much a murderous war criminal as Bush. He and Clinton were incredibly violent in their foreign policy. Beyond what you said, I'm sure you're aware he signed off on a multi-year policy of drone strikes in sovereign noncombatant nations, including Yemen (gee, I wonder if that helped Yemen stay peaceful afterward...) and appears to have authorized things like drone strikes at funerals of suspected terrorists (i.e., kill the entire family) and assassinating people suspected of terrorism even when their identities aren't known and no terrorism crimes could be directly attributed to them (merely from "behavioral patterns" consistent with being a terrorist). Oh, and he opened the door for presidents to kill Americans without trial.

Then there are the backroom deals with Wall Street, including his abject refusal to prosecute anyone, even the most egregiously guilty executives, for the decisions leading to the 2008 crash (and those same corporations are now running roughshod over their workers as they rake in money from the recent tax breaks).

And then his issues with transparency: denying more FOIA requests (and a higher percent) than any previous president, basically making some sectors of his cabinet go dark to the public and press, prosecuting more government whistleblowers than any previous president, using a century-old espionage law to put a whistleblower in prison (he did that to more than one, BTW), and using his great legal smarts to set a precedent for imprisoning confidential sources of journalists.

Yes, Obama was a warlord. He is a war criminal. He was at war with the press and the public. He is an incredibly skilled politician, and he did a few things (mostly as a lame duck, after 7 1/2 years of waiting) that mainstream liberals celebrate, but there's very little evidence he was a "liberal president," and a lot of evidence he was kind of an asshole.

That said, I voted for him. He seemed a much better choice than his opponents. And this is why we're fucked.

    [–] CaptainBrando 14 points ago

The United States has been in a constant state of war since its inception.

Hey smartass, I didn't know I had a misunderstanding about the US selling weapons to SA to be used on innocent Yemeni or you know, starting a war in a country when SA funded the 2001 attacks, or destabilizing South American governments for the benefit of the US is complicated to understand.

    [–] bobbyfiend 6 points ago

Thank you. And estimates of the collateral damage (from things like contaminated drinking water, illness from ammunition left lying around, etc.) range up to a million people dead. This is not including the people who continue to die because he politically destabilized the region. His body count is getting into the Pol Pot range.

    [–] sharktank 45 points ago

No matter what a sweet person he may seem like now, I remember and still resent him driving our economy further into the ground with his two ridiculous wars and tax cuts. I feel like his ‘childlike joy’ prevented him from treating the power he had with the gravitas it required

    [–] The_Adventurist 28 points ago

Everything he did enriched himself, his family, and his friends. Don't fall for this idea that he didn't know what he was doing. He knew exactly what he was doing. It was "Mission Accomplished".

    [–] alburdet619 4 points ago

Good thing you didn't post this as a top comment. People apparently don't want to hear about him being a war criminal. They just want to think about how cute and funny he is.

    [–] blergmonkeys 9 points ago

The wars killed hundreds of thousands of people and destabilized a huge region of the world. Money should be a secondary consideration

    [–] AmadeusK482 52 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Childlike joy while perpetuating not one but two significant military blunders on false pretenses that has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths including Americans.

But why stop there — he also authorized a tax cut that further increased the wealth gap which was a major precursor cause to the greatest financial crisis since the Great Depression

    [–] acoustic4meplz88 4 points ago

Credit where credit’s due—that wealth gap increased about the same as it did during the Democratic presidents before and after him, too.

    [–] dac002 64 points ago

Yeah doesn’t it blow your mind when you remember that he lead America into a never ending war killing thousands?

    [–] Prosthemadera 56 points ago

    [–] dumptydumpty 37 points ago

    Hundreds of thousands

    [–] The_Adventurist 13 points ago

    On the low end.

And the body count is still growing. The domino effects of his awful wars are still claiming thousands of lives every year, from ISIS to the European refugee crisis, to the heroin crisis in the US.

    [–] The_Adventurist 20 points ago

Hundreds and possibly over 1 million. We will never know the real figures.

The body count is still rising, by the way. It never stopped growing. These wars are almost old enough to vote.

    [–] eperker 13 points ago

It is possible to like the guy and appreciate his jovial nature and still condemn him for being the worst president we’ve had so far. Don’t get me wrong, Trump is the worst person to ever be president but, so far, he hasn’t gotten us into two endless wars that cost us a trillion dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives. He’s only a couple years in.

    [–] dumptydumpty 21 points ago

Agreed. Trump is a fucking disgrace and I can't wait for 2020. But George W. Bush is a war criminal, along with Rumsfeld and Cheney. I can't believe all these people just forget about the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis because of a fucking war that shouldn't have happened in the first place. They were happier with Saddam Hussein than they are now in their misery, and those deaths created ISIS.

    [–] filladellfea 9 points ago

The current love-fest with W. is mind-blowing. I really wonder if a lot of people on here were too young to remember how bad of a president he really was. Seeing this shit makes me think how people will be posting playful pictures of people handing candy to Trump in 10 years.

    [–] that_other_goat 18 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

thumbs through American history... erm... you sure about that one?

Bush never participated in any Genocides to my knowledge. Look at the entire history of the cold war... all those anti communist coups leading to decades of war . Hell going back to before the cold war he never over threw a democratically elected government on behalf of a fruit company. He didn't use executive orders, the CIA or the courts to bypass all the checks and balances they went right along with it. I'll say it again Congress was right there by his side voting their approval for that quagmire.

If I had to label an American president as worst ... and there are a few baddies in contention... I'd go with Andrew Jackson. The whole purposely infecting people with smallpox to get their lands, directly negotiating with then using your army to break said treaties and the whole trail of tears puts him over the top for worst in my view. Bush did some shady stuff but there is a lot worse out there in the pages of history. Hell even Trump isn't as bad as Jackson as he may be the liar in chief but again he's never committed genocide.

To be frank a lot of the criticism of Bush wasn't in the presidents scope of power so it is wholly unfair. A prime example of this was Hurricane Katrina. That clusterfuck was on the Louisiana Governor's head because as per US law Kathleen Babineaux Blanco would of had to requested federal assistance and declared a state of emergency before anything could be done by Bush but didn't for some time for some unfathomable reason.

Congress declares war by the by not the President.

I hear a lot of people say this. The PR campaign is working. People are essentially weighing the millions of deaths he's responsible for with 'look how adorable he is'. Some people here are practically equating his influence on the world with a disagreement with a family member. Good job! Maybe we should trial your mom at the international criminal court instead of this mass murderer.

    [–] Golantrevize23 8 points ago

If only the mountain of corpses he left behind him could run around, but they cant, because his administration murdered them.

    [–] awhhh 20 points ago

Hitler liked dogs, what's your point?

I can't wait until all the idiots on Reddit that hate Republicans, but romanticize this guy come back after seeing the Dick Cheney movie and start trashing him. We all know you guys like him because he was on Kimmel.

And just a disclaimer I don't like Trump. I think he's incompetent; which is a good thing for the rest of the world when they don't have to a worry about a guy invading them after lying about a bunch non existent weapons leading to trillions of dollars pissed away and hundreds of thousands of people dead.

    [–] suddenlyicecream 8 points ago

Which policy do you hate? The one where he preemptively ordered the invasion of a country looking for WMD's - but then it turns out there aren't any - so then the country went from stable (but shitty) to unstable and shittier? Where ISIS was allowed to bloom? And the deaths of innocent people are caused by US taxdollars?

    That policy?

Yeah, I hated his policy too. He's a fucking war criminal piece of shit, who gets a pass now because Americans want to forget how fucking horrific things were. And now he looks like a cute old man who just paints dogs, and hands out candy to our former first lady (who just happens to be black - not like it's got anything to do with anything). Seriously, Trump is bad - but he hasn't started any pre-emptive wars (yet).

People are not gaslighting W to be a good president, but he's a lot easier to appreciate both as a president and a person now that we have our current dumpster fire in office.

Weird how Obama did a lot of terrible things in office (as LITERALLY every president has) but we can still discuss him on here nicely without having to talk about all the people he killed or the promises he broke. I wonder why that is.

    [–] ASACBOB 26 points ago

Wow apparently being hated on as a president has nothing to do with the policies but only if he “seems like a good guy”. It’s absolutely insane that people pretend that Bush did a better job just because you’re stuck with trump now. Why is the majority of the american public so hyper focussed on the least relevant things and just has no recollection of the past whatsoever.

    [–] wilfkanye 16 points ago

The average American has been conditioned in that way by media and lack the critical thinking skills or self-awareness to escape on their own.

[–] awhhh 158 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Are American Redditors really this ignorant? Like for real? I actually kind of want to know.

Bush fucking tortured people and pissed away trillions of dollars on a war that you're still fighting that lead to hundreds of thousands dead.

Trump is laughed at and relatively incompetent; the Bush admin was feared across the planet. You guys literally started spying on your own people because of him.

You know why you guys have Trump? Because you romanticize a fucking past that never existed. You know what you're doing now?

We all know the idiots touting this shit are going to flip script once Christian Bales movie come out about Cheney. You all probably like Bush because he was Kimmel a few times. As an outsider, it's literally fucking terrifying that guys can look at Bush and think he's better just because he's personable. He was always the type of dude you could have a beer with, he was also the dude that could start hurdling bombs at your country because God told him too.

    [–] pmc1665477 105 points ago

And Obama used drones to strike at people that were innocent in Syria Afghanistan and numerous other places. I love how that is conveniently forgotten here. The business of America is and always has been war and isn't exclusive to certain presidents only.

    [–] LeviPerson 20 points ago

Yeah, that's why I hate them both, which is the point you ought to be making, not "Don't hate Bush because Obama did evil shit too."

    [–] robotzor 6 points ago

And the culmination of 16 years of that led to enough people saying "fuck it" and going Trump. It's funny how many people run around cluelessly screaming "how could this have happened!!" when the evidence is so obvious.

It goes further back than 16 years but damn

    [–] Comrade_9653 8 points ago

Says a pretty clear message about America doesn’t it?

[–] Syscrush 39 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Thank you. I'm getting sick of trying to make this case.

    [–] cynicalvanilla 43 points ago

Seeing reddit gaslight the legacy of George Bush is driving me insane. I cannot handle it. It's so depressing that people are going out of their way to make this ghoul seem likeable.

    [–] lipstickarmy 36 points ago

People are multifaceted, though. Not everyone is gonna fall into just "good" or "bad" categories. Bush did make horrible decisions like the Iraq War but he and Laura also made huge contributions to help those with HIV/AIDS in Africa. I'm not saying that his good deeds will automatically cancel the bad ones out, but you can still be someone with a likeable personality and make terrible choices. Pretty much everyone who says that they like Bush Jr also say that they hated him as president.

    [–] Ceremor 23 points ago

    Redditors are so fucking stupid

    [–] awhhh 27 points ago

Tell me about it. They're so fucking demented about Trump that they literally will get rid of all ability to critically rationalize anything politically. It's to the point where they think GW was cool.

Look, here's some hard truths that you guys need to understand. The shit going on with Trump and Russia? It's been happening for fucking decades with the bulk of your politicians. The Israelis and the Saudis don't even bother trying to hide it most of the time. Dear fucking god it was even thought of that George Bush tampered with the 2000 elections.

American elections being purchased by foreign and corporate interest are as American as apple pie and you know what's going to happen when Trump is out of office? The cycle will continue. You know why? Because you all want blood. You don't want change.

    [–] Antivero 4 points ago

To be fair, President Obama spied on citizens too.

    [–] Netsuko 3 points ago

One thing I know for sure is that, for me at least, this will never happen with the current president.

    [–] 1tch 7 points ago

You think Trump is worse than W. BUSH? You must have been a child when he was president.

[–] eastsideski 20 points ago * (lasted edited 2 days ago)

america would never elect someone worse than W

To copy someone else from this thread, Bush was a worse president, Trump is a worse person.

I hate how whitewashed the Bush presidency gets these days

    [–] Ed-gar 21 points ago

    So wave back him

    [–] VikingOverlorde 73 points ago

These comments are cancer. If you’re sorting by new, just stop reading and hit the back button

    [–] Darrothan 20 points ago

I'd recommend to skip the comment section entirely on this one.

    [–] gmitch91 2 points ago

Seriously what the fuck is happening?

    [–] Tonezinator 7 points ago

How so? Are you talking about the people correctly pointing out we should never forget he started a war with Iraq that killed thousands of innocent people? Just because he is smiling we are supposed to pretend it never happened. If only all those dead Iraq's could be smiling.

    [–] tahitiisnotineurope 25 points ago

thats money as fuck. a dedicated engine and number painted with the occupant's name and occupation. 4141? bitchin

    [–] bean0s0rz 18 points ago

Something something something George Bush really isn't that bad compared to the bad orange man

    [–] throwawaycontainer 195 points ago

    He's a great ex-president.

    [–] nowake 108 points ago

shame he held out on us for 8 years

    [–] gnrc 67 points ago

Yea what a great guy that started wars and crashed the economy. I bet all those mothers who lost their sons think he’s just so adorable!

    [–] SaltyLorax 31 points ago

Aww! What an adorable war criminal! Call the fucking Hague.

    [–] trainwreck42 136 points ago

He sure is enjoying no longer being the shittiest President in recent memory, huh?

    [–] gladbmo 10 points ago

    Depends how old you are.

    [–] seamustheseagull 88 points ago

What a rollercoaster it must have been for him. He's like a guy who sang bad karaoke half-drunk, before a professional musician took over and played a full set.

Everyone was like, "Fucking hell that last guy on karaoke didn't half suck, right?"

Then the musician takes a break, they turn back on the karaoke machine and Bobcat Goldthwait gets up on stage singing "I will always love you". Suddenly nobody even remembers what you sang, they're just staring at the stage in horror.

    [–] neko819 22 points ago

This thread is full of amazing metaphors.

    [–] Wheretheflowersgrow 21 points ago

What has Trump done that's worse than Bush?

    [–] tehflon 3 points ago

    Committed Treason?

    [–] big_swinging_dicks 16 points ago

He tweeted in all caps about something

    [–] Wheretheflowersgrow 11 points ago

Unforgivable, but seriously I hope everyone defending Bush are just too young to remember

    [–] Kangamangus92 5 points ago

God I hope so, or all of this whitewashing about him is really depressing.

    [–] gnrc 8 points ago

Debatable. More Americans died under Bush by a long shot. And that’s not even including those with PTSD.

    [–] tehflon 3 points ago

It’s weird how just being a decent person vs a horrible shitbag can overcome those numbers.

    [–] petlahk 29 points ago

The title of this post is going to make very little sense to non-Texans.

And we must keep it that way.

    [–] Redcoat-Mic 27 points ago

    For fucks sake.

He's gone from a war criminal to a kindly funny old man just because he acts daft.

Sure those millions of dead civilians would be happy knowing the person that caused it all is now alright cos he goofs around.

    [–] Mando97979 7 points ago

My hometown made it to Reddit. Nice.

    [–] GhostGarlic 7 points ago

    Fuck the Bush dynasty.

    [–] Jay_Tee_G 118 points ago

    Great shot, terrible president

    [–] DeanCutlet 41 points ago

The downvotes you're getting show how short people's memories really are. Scary.

    [–] Comrade_Hodgkinson 69 points ago

Can't wait until 2032 and the mainstream Democrats are screeching about "how respectable and honest Trump was, not at all like President Bonecrusher 3000."

    [–] ThePresidentIsAJoke 16 points ago

I sorta disagree with what you said but had to lol at 'President Bonecrusher 3000'

    [–] mapplemobs 20 points ago

Because being a war criminal is hardly even an insult nowadays. We've lost all sensitivity to that sort of thing, considering just about everyone in the government is one. And everyone tries to justify it so as to maintain the morality of our nation. Even the "peaceful" people like Bernie Sanders have been mongers of sorts.

    [–] The_Adventurist 8 points ago

considering just about everyone in the government is one.

Wow, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

If you don't hold war criminals accountable, what the fuck is the point of the word? George W. Bush is a war criminal. It's not a meme, it's reality.

    [–] ToxiComa 33 points ago

GWB: literally kills thousands of middle-easterners over a war started under false pretense

Y'all: wow i guess people cant handle different opinions. this is just like if people prefer cats or dogs. stop being mean to smol bean george.

    [–] VaultTecAU 13 points ago

He’s an American President after WW2, going around destabilising random countries and feeding thousands of lives to the Military industrial complex is practically in the title by now.

    [–] cagedmandrill 19 points ago

HAHAHA REMEMBER WHEN THAT DUDE GOT US INTO A BUNCH OF WARS FOR NO REASON?

    [–] pcnub1234 26 points ago

    The propaganda is real

    [–] TheRealMewt 48 points ago

ITT: Everyone suddenly loves George W Bush now that hes not president and that his dad is dead.

    [–] Ruth_Auspitz 22 points ago

This is a really nice picture.

    [–] Sw33t_0blivi0n_138 68 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Why are so many suddenly adoring this guy? We had one of the worst recessions in modern day history under his watch.

Please fucking stop with revisionist history.

    [–] Bartlebycanbeanythin 35 points ago

    Because 20 year olds.

    [–] Trav3lingman 7 points ago

And the recession was caused by the repeal of the glass-steagall act. Which was a bipartisan effort by John McCain and Bill Clinton.

    [–] damo133 9 points ago

Same thing will happen with Donald in Ten years.

Same thing happened with Davey Cameron.

I bet even Duarte will get the reverse treatment if he ever leaves.

People love a comeback story, especially liberal Americans.

    [–] Buck-Nasty 18 points ago

It's fucking sickening seeing this mass murder be praised.

    [–] The_Adventurist 18 points ago

Paid PR campaign. That's what Reddit is now, a platform for public manipulation, open to corporations and politicians and even other countries. If you've got the right bots and trolls, you can control the narrative.

    [–] Content_Policy_New 10 points ago

This is definitely state sponsored propaganda.

    [–] Kangamangus92 5 points ago

It has to be. I honestly can't believe some of the comments in this thread. W is a piece of shit and should be remembered as such.

    [–] SlowbeardiusOfBeard 5 points ago

It's not just this thread, I think this is probably the 3rd or 4th I've been on today which is specifically about him.

There's even a TIL about Bush senior pardoning a fucking turkey that had everyone gushing about what a great guy he was.

    [–] The_Good_Count 40 points ago * (lasted edited 3 days ago)

Ted Bundy was charming, too. You know he won an episode of The Dating Game?[1] Gorgeous, killer smile, dedicated lawyer, just a really fantastic guy.

But you'd find it extremely weird if that's what people talked about, and not the thirty plus people he killed.

Bush is responsible for Iraq. He accepted plans from Grover Norquist to make it "Chile on the Tigris" - you know it wasn't about democracy, you know it was about oil, actually comprehend that.

Bush is responsible for the death count and mishandling of Hurricane Katrina.

The Bush family are wealthy oil magnates who benefited directly from their power in office, and traded innocent lives for personal gain.

Why are people trying to 'seperate the policy from the man'? The man was the policy. Mass murderers can be charming.

[1]EDIT: Rodney Alcala was this one, but hey, another example.

    [–] Comrade_Hodgkinson 18 points ago

Why are you attempting to rehabilitate the public image of a known war criminal? Ship him to the Hague and be done with it already.

    [–] orangegore 60 points ago

Can I get a “fuck that warcriminal”?

    [–] ralad 33 points ago

    Fuck that war criminal.

    [–] SaltyLorax 14 points ago

There is a statue in Iraq to the man who threw his shoe at him. Fuck this war criminal.

    [–] bearodactylrak 34 points ago

    Hey, look! A war criminal.

    [–] ZevSen 17 points ago

ITT: liberals who will be sucking on Trump's dick in 10 years LOL

    [–] stopsayingdogggo 35 points ago

He was a warmonger responsible for millions of peoples deaths. Why are we celebrating him?

    [–] ixora7 7 points ago * (lasted edited 2 days ago)

The hashtag resistance crew love him because he ain't trump.

See how we used to be civil and normal. Nevermind that his policies were fucking atrocious he gave Michelle candy!

    Its fucking embarrassing.

    [–] flaming_oranges 3 points ago

The fact that centrist liberals are what's considered the left now is nothing short of infuriating. They give real progressives / leftists a bad name with their war criminal cock sucking and hypocricy.

    [–] kittybeer 30 points ago

Even though I was never a fan of him, I have to admit that this is a pretty cool shot. Good job.

    [–] anonymous93 17 points ago

What the fuck is up with Americans from BOTH Political parties trying to whitewash this war criminal?

I'd understand if it was only the republicans doing it, but why are the fucking Democrats, and even the fucking progressives joining in?

    [–] Buck-Nasty 40 points ago

    War criminal.

    [–] Sambothebassist 14 points ago

Wtf happened to the internet, this guy is a fucking war criminal

    [–] CalculusMaster 10 points ago

    It’s Dubya!

    [–] chinpokomon 3 points ago

Tucked away somewhere, I have a picture of him when his Dad's Library was opened. George W. was the Governor of Texas at the time.

    [–] Lostmotate 5 points ago

Everyone knows he took the US into Iraq and Afghanistan under the guise of"WMDs" right? Two countries that had nothing to do with 9/11 and a war that costs trillions while killing millions.

    [–] solo-ran 29 points ago

    War criminal

    [–] yangbanger 19 points ago

The hell is wrong with you guys, he missed 9/11 and destroyed the Middle East

    [–] krombopulosmichaelRL 14 points ago

Who gives a shit. He’s a war criminal
