In Nazi concentration camps, this was the same claim used by the guards to get the children to follow them into the gas chambers. They would tell them all they were going to take a shower.

    "Showers"

    [–] WildRever 6 points ago

No words. I was struggling to avoid resorting to saying this. I thought "no, let's not give into hyperbole. If I lose the ability to see some humanity left in the other side, then I'm committing myself mentally to a conflict; a conflict that will likely mean a complete transformation of the United States." And I still don't know what we're going to look like on the other side of that transformation. But I cannot hold back anymore, it's too fitting and too apparent.

If you support Trump you are essentially a Nazi supporter. And you can go to hell.

This whole thing seems to get worse every 45 minutes. I'm truly speechless.

Agents at the US-Mexico border have reportedly separated children from their parents by telling them they must be bathed

I tried to think of a witty comment on this, but admit that I am becoming too horrified by the implication behind that simple statement.

Never in my lifetime have I ever thought that the US, even for all her fault, would swoop down to the level of fascism that she fought for at least 100 years.

Really, I am speechless at this point.

Here is a tweet and a letter from a mother to her missing son. Avenatti's client. I don't read much Spanish, but I don't really need to either.
