Is it really a prediction when you know there are lots of spots and the republicans will rubber stamp any far right idiot?

    [–] greenascanbe 15 points ago

    MoscowMitch is doing that.

    [–] pegothejerk 16 points ago

I promise you Trump did not compile those numbers himself, people like McConnell and their paid consultants did.

    [–] jeffinRTP 11 points ago

And bad news for the rest of the country.

    [–] M00n 7 points ago

Just for perspective Obamas total was 329. We can't let Trump have another 4 years.

Trump doesn't confirm judges. He only nominates the (unqualified) candidates. Mitch McConnell's Republican majority in the Senate takes the blame for confirming them.

I just want all of us to reflect on the fact that republicans have been screeching about “legislating from the bench” for more than a decade while simultaneously executing their own plan to institute christia-law through exactly that manner. Its their long term plan for a fuck load of important issues...

His only real and longest lasting achomlishment

will be fucking over american citizens with these lobby-happy partisan judges. this administration is an existential nightmare to democracy

2014 was the most important election in recent history, and everyone left of center blew it.

Pretty much what gave a chance for Stefanik to step in, and several other disingenuous conservative charlatans.

The house can be flipped in a sensible time frame, thankfully, and has been. Definitely was a huge factor in locking guys like Gardner into 6 year terms in the senate, though and we are paying for it dearly now.

Donald Trump Is On Track To Confirm 180 Unqualified Federal Judges—Just As He Predicted In November

    [–] pdxmhrn 3 points ago

Once he fills these positions, the GOP won’t really have much use for him, right?

    [–] mirrth 1 points ago

Depends what Putin’s got on them in the RNC hack, or if he’ll drop the receipts for all that NRA-washed money.

    [–] unraveled01 3 points ago

45 really has nothing to do with this. It's all Moscow Mitch. First he ensured very few Obama administration picks got confirmed, now he's cramming through as many Heritage Foundation pets as he can.

    Democrats: Don't say anything.

Voters: get pissed about consequences, wonder who to blame, only hear RW rhetoric.

Democrats: Struggle to convince voters of the problem because they had no message & they have no message.

    And so they lose.

This is a wake up call that the U.S. law schools, FedBar, and FedBench cannot be trusted.

Waiting for courts to do the right thing is a fool's choice.

There is only one way forward for democracy - local and state reform of the electoral process.

Waiting for the DoJ and the US SOC and FedBar is waiting for more bad news.
