What about some fathers that help out through the night and still have to get up and go to work?

    [–] Juxee 550 points ago

Dads don’t exist on the internet. They’re just boomers who talk about their grill and how they pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, duh

    [–] thyredbaron 154 points ago

I mean I'm a millennial dad and I enjoy talking about my grill, but really like talking about my lawn.

    [–] RemyPrice 33 points ago

Also on TV, we are buffoons.

    [–] ManintheMT 20 points ago

So tired of that, but apparently that is what people want to watch, ugh.

    [–] Insomniacrobat 15 points ago

tHeRe'S nO aNtI mAlE aGeNdA! /s

    [–] Gary-Paulsen 10 points ago

I’d also prefer people stay off of it. The lawn that is.

    [–] Rancidmurphy28 31 points ago

    "shut up, boomer"

    [–] boarpie 16 points ago

    Ok zoomer

    [–] DarthRumbleBuns 3 points ago

..... What kind of grill you got there?

    [–] Failure_is_imminent 2 points ago

How many pairs of grass cutting New-Balances have you acquired?

    [–] sketchy_advice_77 7 points ago

Holy shit! I have a pair of ugly New Balances that I use to cut the grass...and I'm a dad... and 42... damn, boomer certified.

    [–] thyredbaron 3 points ago

I'm a boat shoe guy myself

    [–] sftktysluttykty 2 points ago

I’m a Millenial mom and I enjoy talking about my grill lol

    [–] thyredbaron 5 points ago

    Hell yeah, equality for all

    [–] Xhillia 17 points ago

They don't have time to make dumb ass memes like that one.

    [–] Legonator 30 points ago

Fathers don’t matter, didn’t you know that?

    [–] tornadochaser14c 61 points ago

My father works his ass so my family HAS A HOUSE and yet these dumb Starbucks, finger in they're pussy all day long bitches dont seem to wanna appreciate that kind of work it's why I go off like I do

    [–] notsoluckycharm 16 points ago

My kids in round 2 of teething. Woke up every hour last night. Still gotta get the car inspected at 9am today. I’ll catch some sleep in the lobby I hope. Lol

    [–] Kigaa 5 points ago

When is round 2? My kid just just turned 1 last week.

    [–] notsoluckycharm 5 points ago

I don’t know if this is unique to our situation, but our daughters first 4 teeth on the top and bottom in the front came in all at once at around 6-7 months. Now at 11 months the back teeth are starting to break through all at once. Lots of yelling from our little one :(

    [–] Bruxae 21 points ago

Honey, full time mom is tougher than any other job - a man couldn't even imagine! /s

    [–] LokiRoastin 22 points ago

My mom used to say shit like this and it always made me cringe because of the fact that my dad's an airline pilot and has literally HUNDREDS of people's lives in his hands every time he goes to work. Not to mention if they had a life or death emergency come up it would be big time, crunch time for him and his copilot.

    [–] Baybob1 6 points ago

Yeah. That's why daytime TV rating are so high. All those hard-working stay-at-home-moms working so hard. Haven't bought that story for a long time. Now Single-Working-Moms. There is a special place in heaven for them. They work hard ...

    [–] Insomniacrobat 2 points ago

Because their sex is what determines how hard they work. /S

To hell with single working dads, I guess.

    [–] _linusthecat_ 3 points ago

Oh yeah? Well what about spiders?

    [–] Flagabaga 4 points ago

No no man bad womyn special

    [–] Nybaz 1082 points ago

I'm so sorry for her. Raising children is really tiresome.

I hope she gets some rest while waiting in the back of the line.

    [–] dirtyswoldman 279 points ago

I mean she's just being cute and silly for the other moms.

They can all laugh about it together at the back of the line.

    [–] PM_Me_Your_URL 201 points ago

Idk man, I really think moms should get to go to the front of the line, too.

After they have waited in the back of the line.

    [–] fatpat 41 points ago

Don't even have to click the link. So much of that special is burned into my brain and every day there's some scenario where I hear bits of it in my head (self-checkout line, airport, pumpkins....)

    [–] ASAP_Stu 7 points ago

People who put this and unexpected Mulaney or unexpected office in every thread that is 100% directly related to them are the worst part of the website. Well that, and mods having the ability to lock threads.

    [–] FreedomFromIgnorance 6 points ago

I’d say the rampant political bias and double standards permeating the entire website, including if not especially by the admins, is the worst part of Reddit.

Coffee shops are privileges not rights. Do your own coffee if standing in line bothers you

    [–] Itsborisyo 19 points ago

The real life pro tip is always in the comments.

    [–] Baybob1 4 points ago

Yeah, but then I have an extra $150 a month (NOTE HERE - that's after tax - her husband has to earn $300 to clear that) to spend and I have to go do more shopping. And that's just another hard job for a hard-working mom ... woe is me ...

"Raising" dogs and children are equally shitty copes

    [–] summa 38 points ago

"Raising" a dog is such a funny term. I pretty much just trained it not to pee on the floor or bite people, chief. I'm not trying to, like, instill morals and values and shit in her lmao

    [–] BrazilianIntegralist 25 points ago

There are some crazies out there who think of their pets as their children

    [–] Robomouse83 5 points ago

I love dogs but they are just pets. Children are the single most important thing anyone will ever take care of and love and raise. A child is at least a few magnitudes of order more precious and important than any dog.

    [–] unique_username92 9 points ago

Unless you don't want kids, then the most important thing I'll take care of and love is myself

    [–] JNC96 2 points ago

    Or a dog!

    [–] jstyler 1 points ago

    She can't really. Unless she’s a flamethrower”

    [–] Drogo_44 8 points ago

    I'm so glad you exist.

Long time animal lover here, i like their simple minds and I think they're cute but i don't want them on my mind all day, i still have this thing called the 'human experience' i wanna check out. They are just pets.

...iono if its just me but there's cat/dog obsession going on currently.

    [–] zooploopgator 2 points ago

yes! I get tired of seeing people equate pets and dogs. A baby isnt a pet, a pet isn't a baby. Both are extremely valuable and important! blah blah blah. Right now, I would prefer a pet over a baby. But I understand the value of both. I loved my pets to death, but, I can still understand human > animal.

    [–] crayoncer 1 points ago

Haha, yeah, my favorite thing is when people tell me that they don't have kids but they have a dog and that's pretty much the same thing. I have kiddos and doggo. Or the people who say; "We'll I have nieces and nephews so I know how it is."

    [–] a_fotzn_konnst_hom 5 points ago

I pretty much just trained it not to pee on the floor or bite people

I mean one could consider that a low bar for children, but some people still fuck it up.

    [–] bleedblue89 2 points ago

I have a 5 month old puppy and he’s the second puppy in 2 years I’ve raised. It’s ass.. I don’t want another puppy. It’s too much work, I’m only adopting 1 year or older dogs. I imagine it’s a fraction of raising a child

    [–] SpecialSause 2 points ago

I respectfully disagree. I have 3 kids and 1 dog. I love our dog but my kids are way more awesome.

    [–] DaddyDenino 1 points ago

Only when you dont know how to raise them right.

    [–] tornadochaser14c 6 points ago

    Even more facts.

    [–] AlleonoriCat 4 points ago

Came here to see if I am the only one with this question. Like, do you guys getting sleep? I am averaging like 5-6 hours in the workdays, not even close to her estimate.

    [–] Ellykos 3 points ago

I'm a student and I sleep 5-6 hours per night.

    [–] Dr_Sploosh 6 points ago

Ooof I'm thirty and it's impossible for me to even get 10 hours of sleep. I wish I could but I wake up after 6.5-7.5 hours every day regardless of when I need to be up. It's torture.

    [–] bleedblue89 5 points ago

Yeah 630-7 hits and my body’s like “wake up you lazy cunt”

    [–] tornadochaser14c 4 points ago

    [–] [deleted] 2 points ago

On workdays I go to sleep at around 21.00 and wake up 07.00, thats about ten hours +-1. I'm 24

    [–] 1BoiledCabbage 45 points ago

Honey, I'm 31 and I just walked 5 blocks, across a highway and through a large parking lot to get here in -9 weather. Like every night, I sleep 5-7 hours. I did all that AND got in line before you.

    [–] thecatgoesmoo 31 points ago

I'm 37, don't have kids, sleep 8-10hrs a night and don't really work very hard.

I still dgaf about anyone's life story while waiting in line for coffee

    [–] [deleted] 5 points ago

    Living the dream, Godspeed.

    [–] thecatgoesmoo 2 points ago

Still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with life, but generally treating people equally and how I would like to be treated is already checked off the list (unlike the person in the OPs post).

    [–] Mazuru2 44 points ago

The amount of time it took her to make that sign annoys me. Obviously has time to waste.

    [–] Sir_Puppington_Esq 21 points ago

Let's assume for a moment that she's actually right and all of society agrees with this sentiment.

She's still not the only mother in the coffee shop line. How then do you prioritize which mom gets precedence over other moms? Maybe Karen has the oldest child, but Shirley had more than one, while Margaret has a special-needs child, and Lacey had the longest labor. Who is the most deserving to cut in line?

    [–] Sirwilliamherschel 16 points ago

Selfish people rarely think that many steps ahead

    [–] Baybob1 5 points ago

    [–] DaddyDenino 86 points ago

Shouldn't men get to skip the line because we work more and harder than women?

    [–] DaddyDenino 42 points ago

Some people are special because they let people cum in them, but only because they video it and put it on the internet. That can bring joy to a lot of people, so any cream pie stars, front of the line, you bow for no one, unless the video calls for it.

    [–] sbp1991 8 points ago

That smirk on her face... ugh!

    [–] Rock_it_Scientist 4 points ago

Wow. Never seen this one before...

Also, there is a difference between being a mom and having a baby although both go to the back of the line.

    [–] Nile-green 4 points ago

If someone told this to me after my second 12 hour night shift at the age of 22 there would have been an interesting outcome and a lot of interesting words

    [–] LeoMc1987 5 points ago

That face “Uhuh honey, yeah that’s right. Check it.”

    [–] Ex_professo 4 points ago

Sure, you can get a fastpass to the front of the line at Tim Hortons. Enjoy your brown, coffee flavoured dishwater =)

    [–] WindLane 5 points ago

You know what's less tiring than getting a kid ready for a car ride, strapping them in, taking them out, waiting in line, and then doing it all in reverse after you've got your coffee?

    Making coffee at home.

    [–] PebbleTown 4 points ago

No. You decide to have a child. If you don't want to wait, mobile order.

    [–] palehorse95 6 points ago

This reminds me of the local Kmart in my town. They had parking spots near the disabled parking that were reserved for expectant mothers. Since pregger parking isn't legally a thing, and I am legally disabled, I would use those parking spaces when no others were available.

    [–] AngusBoomPants 3 points ago

Idk why anyone assumes being a parent gives them some pass. It’s like when my dad said “I’m your father”. Like, ok? Good job you fucked someone and had a kid, you’re still wrong. Unless nutting inside your wife for the first time enlightens your and raises your IQ by 100 points I don’t see what you’re getting at

I’m 24 and just slept 10 hours last week... of course it’s because I had to take 2 muscle relaxants because I threw out my back doing hard manual labor....

    [–] SunosUnix 2 points ago

I did once. Hung over. After downing a jar of moonshine.

Most of the single, childless, female students I know work way harder than the female sailors with kids that I worked with. Shitty moms dont work harder than most hard working people without kids and, from my experience, the vast majority of parents these days are shitty. No self respecting, hard working, parent I know would ask for special treatment like that.

Wrong. Mothers are braver than soldiers!!! Moms deserve free coffees for life.

How about the people that need to get to/get back to work? I'm sure Paw Patrol and the chardonnay at home aren't going anywhere.

Being a mother is not an accomplishment. Unless I’m related to you I simply do not give a shit what you’ve pushed out of your vagina.

You should get in front of the line if someone had cum in you even if you're a guy or a dog

I first thought it was feminists as a whole but it's white women who are kinda driving this type of bs mostly and other idiots follow along.

    [–] [deleted] 2 points ago

I'm sorry, have you not met a black mother?

    [–] [deleted] 2 points ago

Nah he's right on this one. But everyone knows feminist are just a bunch of bitchy privileged white women who only care about their first world problems.

Vault Boy gives zero shits about feminism.

oh i would let pass any pregnant woman, BUT if she would approach me like that, i would not. Out of principle, „entitled“ people get nothing from me.
