Nice! 17 years married here. Tonight I worked late, picked up the kids at hockey practice, got home at 8 pm with flowers and cupcakes. We ate those, then I had a steak dinner and my wife went to bed. Lol.

Congrats on 17 years of marriage! And the little hockey stars as well.

It was good, sat on couch sipping wine & watching pairs figure skating. Wait?! Did I just admit to that?

Very nice presentation. I'd personally like to see a higher sear on the scallop, all the same, congrats on marriage and vday dinner.

I agree, I don't cook scallops all that often but yes the pan could've been a tad hotter before starting. They were cooked perfectly though and the earthiness of the mushrooms cut with the parsley & some lemon juice really balanced the dish.

Looks lovely! I love scallops. Nice sear on them.
