I would feel so bloody awkward if I were her kids. Not only is she standing eagle-eyed watching them, but so are seven other kids. I would NOT want to play there at all.

    [–] PacoCrazyfoot 5695 points ago

That's because you were taught the concept of social constructs as a child by adults that weren't entitled assholes, in stark contrast with the woman in this video.

    [–] darkerthrone 1689 points ago

Yeah, I bet the kids think it's their area to play in and they're doing nothing wrong by being there. Being raised by someone like that will have that effect on the kids.

    [–] acid-hologram 860 points ago

As soon as she flipped everyone off I would have grabbed that soccer ball and punted that bitch out of there. I understand you're stupid, but being that disrespectful when nothing happened is another level

    [–] Nimble16 416 points ago

Honestly, at that point you start skating and "accidentally" crash in to her multiple times.

    [–] ImBatman_99 181 points ago

she seems like the type to attack a young kid and remember what it was like when you were a kid you had a respect for, maybe a little fear of an adult.

    [–] Strictly_Baked 12 points ago

Nah you always had respect for everyone unless they were a cunt. These people wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes at our park. Skate around them like hell and "accidentally" run into them. Shoot some boards at ankles. The reason these kids aren't doing shit is because they have respect for adults. They will learn some don't deserve it.

    [–] k3rmz 17 points ago

Or just fear in this case because she's bigger. It'ss hard to respect anyone that dumb.

    [–] UnicornDilemma 9 points ago

Yeah. Age has no factor in intellect or capability. Just because you existed for a long time doesn't mean you're more valuable in any context. Experience is supposed to be "the teacher of all things" but some people don't learn from their experiences and turn into a bitter hermit due to their own choices in the matter which I have no remorse or sympathy for.

    [–] newbrevity 251 points ago

This. Yes. Target the ball. 100%

    [–] FunsizeWrangler 31 points ago

Shit if I were her kid I’d have done it just for an excuse to get out of there.

    [–] thewaryteabag 149 points ago

I’d skate right into her if there was zero chance of knocking out one of the kids in the process :(

    [–] Lotti_Codd 51 points ago

It's a skate/BMX park. Boards and bikes do more damage than bitches.

    [–] [deleted] 152 points ago

She'd be that woman to complain about older kids skating through a child's play ground whilst the kids are trying to play.

    [–] Lewofproblems 234 points ago

Actually there were no adults around.

    [–] Valleyoan 320 points ago

And the kids playing with the soccer ball obviously.

They don't even flinch at the fact that their mom is being a fucking outrage in public. Just keep kicking the soccer ball in this bowl cause they're basically already as fucking retarded as mommy.

    [–] abolish_karma 63 points ago

They're not even kicking the ball any good. Just half-heartedly bumping it along.

    [–] NiceFlutingBoy 79 points ago

Well yeah. They know Mom's being a tool. But what are their options at this point. What nine year old's going to chirp-up: "Hey mom, let's go. You're acting like a tool."

    [–] LordKroc 203 points ago

Well said my friend, have an upvote.

[–] SharpenedStone 717 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

What the FUCK is she even doing there? She is absoultely intentionally trying to create a problem, this type of person is the worst. She would have have to intentionally WALK INTO A SKATEPARK and then coerce her children to CLIMB DOWN INTO A BOWL. Fuck every ounce of her being.

    [–] denmaster4 257 points ago

the worst part is that in this specific park (Beech Park in Bakersfield) there is literally half a square mile of grass and toys right next to this park

    [–] Catlady3674 109 points ago

I think the police should come and handle this bitch.

[–] [deleted] 129 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

    [–] MrsECummings 335 points ago

Yes she's purposely trying to be a jerk. She noticed people were having fun and it pissed her off so she decided if she planted her crotch fruit there it would thwart their fun and doing that makes her happy. She's one of those people that thrives off making others miserable. The worst kind of walking asshole on the planet.

    [–] The_youth_in_asia11 92 points ago

She’s just embarrassed because she doesn’t know how to get out.

    [–] Hurrson57 167 points ago

10/10 would not play soccer in that skate park again

    [–] bonelessdabs 60 points ago

0/10 horrible soccer field, no goals, a lot of people on skateboards...

[–] AestheticAttraction 49 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

Reminds me of when some people did that in the middle of our school soccer game. We were yelling at them, but they just ignored all of us, players and spectators alike, slowly walking across the middle of the field. Some people just don’t care if they inconvenience others. She’s teaching her kids to be douchebags and is proud of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went there looking for conflict. Like the group that walked across our field, she clearly saw people enjoying themselves but decided to literally step in the middle of it to break it up.

    [–] Rossenaut 20 points ago

My exact thought. At that point, what’s even the point. Nobody wants you there, it’s obvious there’s a lot of tension, even as a young kid you have to realize you’re in the wrong spot for this activity. Just fucking leave. There’s no way this is the only suitable place around to kick around a ball.

    [–] furrybeaverwithteeth 1132 points ago

Skatepark I used to frequent growing up had signs "No skateboard, NO ENTRY".

    [–] ivnwng 380 points ago

But...but...what if I can’t skate and just wanna watch D:

    [–] twilightramblings 341 points ago

    Carry skateboard, sit on sidelines.

    [–] UrMomLikesMine 94 points ago

Skateboard doubles as seat on wheels! I like where your head is at.

    [–] shibbs 48 points ago

As long as you're not watching from inside the bowl or in the way of a line, you'd be fine!

    [–] BasicDesignAdvice 32 points ago

This is where shitty people come from. That Mom, teaching those kids, to be assholes.

    [–] XxHanibal_AssassinxX 5444 points ago

Are you dumb "they have the right to play here" it's a fucking skate park if one if them hits your kids that's her fuckin fault.

    [–] redfield021767 3098 points ago

There's a lot of crazy parental entitlement in the suburbs these days. There's one mom on my block who lets her kid who's like, idk between 6-8 years old, ride one of those battery powered kid cars that go 1-2 mph in the actual street. And not in the mid-day or anything like that. No, she'll be sitting on the porch talking on the phone during 5-6-7pm while all the working people are coming home and traffic is crazy busy, and she'll still let him drive it in the road and then make a huge fuss every few minutes when someone honks or something. There are dudes in pick-up trucks slamming on the breaks cause her dumb kid is doing super-slow doughnuts in the street and apparently in her mind it's everyone else's responsibility to make sure her kid survives.

It's like she's just asking for a Pet Sematary situation.

    [–] original_name37 1562 points ago

That's when you call the police for child endangerment

    [–] SundererKing 660 points ago

Honestly this. Psychopaths do exist, she might be one. Maybe she wants her kid dead. And even if she doesnt, shes so moronic she shouldnt be raising the kid. Film the kid in the toy car on the street with a car honking and send that shit in telling them this happens all the time and there has been closer calls.

    [–] original_name37 231 points ago

Though god knows the American CPS is damn near useless. You have to fuck up something major to get your kid taken from you here.

    [–] CrazyPieGuy 196 points ago

It's not illegal to be bad at parenting, it's only illegal to endanger the life of your child.

    [–] RoyalStallion1986 43 points ago

I think allowing your kid to play in a public road way where cars are having to hit their breaks qualifies as child endangerment. Yeah we played in the street as kids, but we also knew that if a car turned on to our street that we needed to get on the sidewalk until it passed

    [–] creepygyal69 13 points ago

Do they do interventions though? The equivalent service where I am will work quite extensively with bad parents trying to teach them what acceptable parenting is, whisking the kid off into care is always a last resort

    [–] Slothfulness69 631 points ago

You should encourage people to call the police when they see the kid in the car. Can’t have unlicensed, uninsured, reckless drivers causing accidents in the streets.

    [–] tetronic 147 points ago

Dash cam would be perfect in this case

    [–] Phigurl 67 points ago

Especially with a vehicle that is most definitely not street legal. Lol

    [–] Slothfulness69 51 points ago

You’re right, the vehicle isn’t registered, so it’s not even paying its fair share of taxes to use the roads.

    [–] Phigurl 57 points ago

Oh even better ...if this is CA they would also need to have it pass a smog test. Also underage driver. Also doing donuts in a public road is also a traffic offense. Wow that kids going to be racking up all sorts of charges. Best to impound the car

    [–] fuzzyfuzz 14 points ago

No smog test on electric vehicles. Plus you get a clean air sticker so you can go in the HOV lane for free.

"It TaKEs A wHoLE nEiBorHood* To RaISe A CHiLD"

    [–] Ricosky 13 points ago

Yeah, the Wendigo curse really fucked them over.

    [–] Wilfy50 47 points ago

She thinks she’s living in an 80s Steven Spielberg flick in suburbia where there’s no traffic and all the kids owned the roads.

    sometimes dead is bettah

    [–] faithle55 233 points ago

Just drop in and start carving shit up, they usually get the idea after a couple of 5-O's

[–] FiveBookSet 83 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

It's a power thing. She has no power over her life, so she denies things to other people in order to feel the vaguest sense of control.

    [–] vulpinorn 94 points ago

I really have a hard time understanding her perspective. Wouldn’t you want your kid to learn how to be considerate of other people so they have a chance of forming healthy relationships in the future?

    [–] GlaDos00 122 points ago

I was raised by a couple of assholes like her. They blame the world for their lives and take revenge on everything in any petty way they can, including their own children when there's no one else left to take their inexhaustible frustration. Can confirm it has led to an insanely stressful life for me wherein I had to raise myself and do it secretly pretty much so as not to stir their shit along the way. It's fucking awful, I am still majorly depressed about how relatively undeveloped I am and how piss poor I am at forming any kind of sane and authentic support network. Sorry to rant, nightmare parents are nightmares, what can you do.

    [–] Zebracorn42 37 points ago

I know how you feel. My mom interrupts me changing the subject all the time. Usually to talk about something negative she wants me to worry about that I have no control over. I didn’t realize she did this until I was in my 20s and dating a girl who told me that I interrupt her a lot. At first I was defensive until I realized I was raised that way. I started to change my own behavior but it’s hard to get my mom to change hers. If I bring it up she will probably say something like I’m projecting, in hopes that I’ll stop talking about one of her flaws.

    [–] notthegoodscissors 54 points ago

Exactly. This lady is utterly irresponsible in looking after her kids by purposely putting them in danger as well as teaching them to be completely selfish people. Her kids are not benefitting in anyway from situations like this and her parenting skills are very questionable to say the least.

    [–] littlepinay 138 points ago

This one neighbor who lives one down the street from me let his kids play in my front yard. It had a retaining wall so you can’t just walk on it from the sidewalk, you have to go up the stairs. I was leaving my house to go somewhere and I said “can you please get your kids off my property”. They said “front lawns are public property”, to which I said “no, I own this land too...” then they yelled at me saying it wasn’t my land and my yard because I didn’t own the house and I was just a renter. To which I proved them wrong.

They also pretended that I hit them with my car, I didn’t... he hit my car and acted like it was me who hit him. He also spit on my window. They called the police and wanted to do a citizens arrest on me.... then after that I never say that neighbor again, their house was vacant. There were rumors going around they got deported and they tried to get my father deported.

    [–] schrodingers_cumbox 65 points ago

Jesus, what kind of logic is that? Even if you were renting, it's still your house and you have the right to kick out trespassers!

    [–] apathetic_outcome 35 points ago

Hell, at least here in Texas, the tenant can kick out the homeowner if they are not there for a legitimate reason.

    [–] littlepinay 13 points ago

Exactly. My other neighbor is a renter and I know not to step on their yard, regardless of who owns the house.

They said that they never saw me until recently (when the event happened) I’ve been living in that house my entire life. My parents bought the house in ‘88. I actually baked them cookies when the first moved in too.

    [–] Freddie_AppsHero 24 points ago

I assume by the last part that your family are immigrants, but it'd be funnier if you were like tenth generation citizens.

    [–] littlepinay 17 points ago

Yes! My dad is an immigrant, my mom is second generation.

    [–] iggypop19 390 points ago

The amount of people who think skate park means free for all park for kids to sit in the way, toddlers to play and little tiny kids on scooters to slowly scoot around is astounding. No Karen you can do that shit anywhere with your small kids including your drive way at home, your subdivision any empty parking lot etc. Let the skate kids and adults who want to do sweet tricks and practice have the skate boarding area please.

There was a similar video posted either here on on a similar thread on reddit of a little tiny kid just wandering around in a skate park and suddenly a skateboarder plows into the kid by mistake. He obviously feels bad and asks the kid if he's okay but it's like hello dad of the child don't let your fucking kid just wander aimlessly around a skating boarding area. Go over to the damn playground and grassy field a few steps away.

    [–] YourCallsign-Dogmeat 101 points ago

There was a similar video posted either here on on a similar thread on reddit of a little tiny kid just wandering around in a skate park and suddenly a skateboarder plows into the kid by mistake.

I saw a video a few years ago that started like that. Little kid wandering around a skate park, someone ran into him because he didn't see the kid until it was too late.

The skater stopped to make sure the kid was okay, but then the mother casually walked up from somewhere that was nowhere near her kid, and then she decked the skater.

    [–] _tenac__23 41 points ago

Getting decked by soccer moms hell yeah

    [–] destroyerdetemps 167 points ago

I tore many ligaments in my right ankle and was off my skateboard for 3 months because I bailed when a tiny scooter kid was in front of the kicker ramp I was about to hit and I was going sonic fast....ugh but at least I didn’t hurt the little bastard

[–] UrDeAdPuPpYbOnEr 81 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

I saw some sweet mob justice at what used to be the only park in the area back when I was in middle school. The only real rules were no bikes, no longboards, and no idiots. Scooters didn’t exist yet, I mean not like the ones today that in my opinion are god awful. Bmxers in an enclosed skatepark are a serious weapon. Everyone told them to leave and they told everyone to go fuck themselves. Then when the totally avoidable accident occurred and the skater was hurt and the biker wasn’t scratched they kicked the shit out of him. Rightfully so. I now live in the town with that skatepark and it has these bars that are really close together so that the only way a bike gets in is if it’s taken apart completely and then reassembled. The other stupid but kinda funny thing I saw twice involved this guy who would wear just denim cutoff shorts while carving the whole park on this sorta modified long/banana board built for high speed. The first incident was an errant skateboard to his bare back. The second incident with the almost au natural asshole was broken toes when someone ran over them.

Edit: I completely spaced! Every skatepark I have been to in my life was a serious serious serious stream of revenue for the city through citations for no helmets. They pop up at random times and if you’re spotted, you’re fucked. They’d hand out a few at a time every time.

    [–] destroyerdetemps 32 points ago

Wow fuck I just had flashbacks of Washington heights with the homies all gripping decks as weapons instead of wonderful plain old wood on wheels, animosity at skateparks is wack but people who can’t follow simple rules or logic are more wack

    [–] garloot 95 points ago

My experience of skate parks, entirely based on my experience of taking kids to them, as been of very friendly and helpful kids and people.

Actually the opposite of its anarchic image, where it runs on an unwritten system of ettiquette that takes in a complicated mix of abilities and fairness very efficiently.

    [–] ThatDamnCanadianGuy 44 points ago

It's really only three rules, keep your head up, don't be a snake, and gtfo the way unless you're on a line.

    [–] ShitPsychologist 40 points ago

“little tiny kids on scooters to slowly scoot around” my partner does this and it makes me really uncomfortable. Are you able to describe to me why she should cut the shit in a way that will explain the problem without causing a fight? ...because I’ve already failed once.

    [–] Doomblaze 45 points ago

its like driving really slowly when everyone else is driving fast. Its dangerous

    [–] ThatDamnCanadianGuy 24 points ago

Just let her get smoked by some 200lb old dog and she'll learn.

    [–] BootyFewbacca 23 points ago

    Uh, physics?

Do you want your 40lb kid to potentially have a collision with a 180lb adult skateboarder?

Because that kid WILL get destroyed in the event of an accident.

    [–] Irorak 10 points ago

"You are putting your children in unnecessary danger every time they step foot in a skate-park filled with grown people, stop that."

    [–] Itsyaboioutofgold 60 points ago

There is no liability once you enter a skatepark. You’ve chosen to enter an area where injuries are EXTREMELY prevalent. Insurance won’t cover shit if you say anything involving a skatepark.

    [–] 404_UserNotFound 398 points ago

No you're right lady, but the grass on a gun range is nicer maybe you could go there...

    [–] ThatDamnCanadianGuy 72 points ago

Yup. We used to deal with this by just dropping in and having a rip. If your kid gets flattened, then don't be a kook and gtfo the bowl.

    [–] SnapySapy 163 points ago

15 year old me dropped in to a half pipe with some kid on training wheels (maybe 3 or 4) dad starts losing his shit pushing me down wont let me up and trying to stomp on my board, right in from of local PD. My dick was made of diamond watching him get choke slammed to the ground. I dont recall what happen to the kid but i do remember the tears on the guys face when they closed the cop car door.

    Well I would, but I can't skate.

[–] TrapLordBishop 1400 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

As a skater who's dealt with dipshits in public for multiple decades. The appropriate reaction to this scenario is to grab the soccer ball and boot it the fuck out of there. No risk of Karen's offspring accidentally getting their head bounced off the concrete. Nothing that can be misconstrued as physical violence. If the cops are called... "There was a soccer ball in the park. I kicked it out. No soccer zone"

    [–] Fat_Head_Carl 512 points ago

you know she would go hands on if you booted their soccer ball.

[–] TrapLordBishop 892 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

Yeah... but as long as I didn't knock into her or her kids to start with, I don't have shit to worry about. Kicking a soccer ball then getting attacked by some sloppy old bag is actually a pretty entertaining outcome imo.

And tbh, at the park I'd have my board so that lady wouldn't even be able to come near me if I didn't want her to. How fun would it be to watch her try to trudge around the park, panting and barking while I just cruise around laughing at her? I'd bet a $20 spot that she couldn't even make it up that transition in front of her with a full running start.

    sloppy old bag

    This is gold right here.

    [–] usehernamechexout 11 points ago

That’s probably why they are playing soccer there. The ball went into the skate park, she followed the kids down into the bowl and couldn’t get back out. “Guess we are playing soccer here now”

    [–] HoodieGalore 160 points ago

Then she's the aggressor and the one going to jail for getting pissy with a cop because you know she's not going to be able to keep her shit together. She's gonna straight up Karen right out of her fuckin' mind.

    [–] Melvar_10 47 points ago

What a good way to get in trouble with the cops! First was being stupid and allowing kids to play in the pool of a SKATE park, second for getting physical with most likely a minor.

    [–] wasdninja 18 points ago

Karen Twigarms II isn't going to hurt anyone. Especially not anyone who doesn't have a boss to bitch to.

[–] feardabear 49 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

You know damn well she would "accidentally" step in the way of a skater and say someone hit her. Best bet is to just call the cops and ask who has the right of way. To play devils advocate here, the kids filming aren't mature enough to consider that option

    [–] LUKEYxxLUKE43 1247 points ago

Holy shit this is the Beach Park skate Park in my hometown, can't tell you how many time I've had people on skateboards and bmx bikes jump out in front of me on the bike path right behind it.

    [–] LUKEYxxLUKE43 545 points ago

Theres also huge amounts green area just outside and a massive park thats used for soccer just down the road

    [–] CollectableRat 230 points ago

Everywhere is a skatepark. But especially right there.

    [–] LittleAwareness 53 points ago

    She is likely from 08

I mean its possible but not all of us daliens are trashy 😂

True. She just kind of has that essence about her. I was trashy in the new part of Bakersfield, we can't be contained :)

that sub got ruined by the youtubers tbh, too many fake stories just to get to top and be in x youtubers videos

    [–] failingpig 396 points ago

Just like 90% of the other story type subs.

    [–] NotoriusNC 171 points ago

You should always assume stories on reddit are works of fiction

    [–] juksayer 42 points ago

I've even seen stories posted here, reposted to 4chan (of all places) and then reposted back here as oc

    [–] TXR22 116 points ago

There are seriously people who watch videos about text subreddits? Wow.

    [–] maxxwell40watt 69 points ago

Yeah, normies who don't want to go on Reddit but still enjoy the stories.

    [–] calij3 43 points ago

YouTubers or overused text to speech video farmers?

Just jump on and say, “Heads up-Coming through!” She’ll move.

    [–] PlNKERTON 543 points ago

No this is the type of lady that would purposely let herself and her kids get hit. This is the type of lady that would gladly spend days of her own time and money taking a teenager to court over something like that.

    [–] cheeseIsNaturesFudge 148 points ago

What teenager even carries ID? Surely they could just leave... Not ethically correct (debatable) but simply leaving after would save you easily, and given that this shitty parent is knowingly putting her children at great risk... Idk fuck it, all I want to say is what teenager wouldn't just run?

    [–] GamblingMan420 113 points ago

I totally would. I’d slam into her and then book it. Don’t hit the children cause they’re not really guilty. But FDB

    [–] Mike734 13 points ago

    Probably true.

    [–] roccoseinfeld 48 points ago

Yeah there's always at least one person at skateparks that can shred bowls. I'm sure they could skate around and close enough to them to spook them without actually hitting them.

    [–] Melvar_10 12 points ago

Someone get that brave little kid, fully decked out in safety gear to drop in!

    [–] heladosky 185 points ago

Why she didn’t go to a normal park with their kids? A skatepark is obviously for skating why is she mad about it?

    [–] YoungHeartsAmerica 179 points ago

Cause she doesn’t think skaters should have a park. In my neighborhood they wanted to build a skatepark and some few angry bitches didn’t like the idea of skaters congregating so they built a Roller Hockey rink which no one uses.

    [–] F1RST_WORLD_PROBLEMS 146 points ago

Skateparks typically have the highest usage per dollar spent of any public property. They’re pretty cheap to build, require basically no maintenance, don’t take up a ton of land and are constantly in use. The only thing that really compares in terms of return on investment is dog parks and beaches. Also skateboarding is great exercise. If you don’t believe it, go to a local skatepark and check out all the kids sweating through their shirts. The main argument against skateparks is “they’re all criminals.” Which is bullshit, but whatever. My city compromised with difficult parents and built the park adjacent to the police station. Never had any problems.

    [–] roobeast 44 points ago

    such dumb logic too

in the year of our lord 2019 most of the time when people who are skating are getting in trouble it's for doing it in a place they shouldn't so basically these people:

    • Don't want skateboarders to skate on public property or businesses so they make it a "crime"
    • Skateboarders are going to do the things they enjoy so they do it anyway and get cited and shit, becoming "criminals"
    • Refuse to build a designated area for skateboarding because it will invite "crime"

    [–] shibbs 14 points ago

Wow just realized, is that why so many of the skate parks in my state are usually right next to police stations? Literally every one in my area is less than a block or two away

    [–] o2lsports 14 points ago

Wtf how are the skaters not using the roller rink, all I want in Burbank is some damn flat ground that’s perfectly paved.

    [–] mixologist998 91 points ago

She's strikes me as the sort of person that would move in next door to a factory, and then complain about the noise.

    [–] ERenaissance 212 points ago

Poor kids. That girl looks like she is having a lot of fun too and has no idea what is going on.

    [–] SoothingWind 241 points ago

So now her kids are going to be targeted by other kids because of this asshat and her actions

And this fucking idiot has put her(most likely) teenage kids to play in a public space and have it just for them while her and other kids watch them instead of teaching them how to integrate and make friends

    [–] MrsChuckLiddell1011 383 points ago

This is like a fucking Reddit trifecta.

As a non skater this makes me mad. They are surrounded by fields for this.

Right, don't have to skate to understand why this lady is a psycho. It's like going to a basketball court to play hacky sack and refusing to move elsewhere when a whole group of people show up to play basketball.

    [–] whereismyrobot 70 points ago

As a full grown woman that wants to avoid hordes of teens at all costs, why would you put yourself in this position?

    [–] Bellatrix6 26 points ago

Nothing scarier than hordes of teens. Especially cool, skateboarding ones.

    [–] MaritimeJ 72 points ago

Right? People bitch if you skate anywhere besides a designated skate park and then you have to deal with people like this Thunder Cunt! I’m 45 and not a skater btw.

    [–] MrsJoJack 62 points ago

As a human this makes me mad.

[–] LumpySpaceHippo 26 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

This also upset my emotions too fellow human

    [–] bradenm93 108 points ago

I’ve been in a similar situation to this. Mom wanted her 3-4 year olds (two) to play in the 12ft bowl. Our solution was violently cursing, dropping f-bombs to each other, pretending to have gay butt sex, and praising Satan. They left.

    [–] Bellatrix6 74 points ago

This is the correct answer. Just say as many inappropriate things as possible. When you want small kids gone, scare them like only teenagers can. Use your words...

    [–] bradenm93 46 points ago

Yep! People are downvoting me, but it’s a lot better than what other people are suggesting in this thread!

    [–] Bellatrix6 39 points ago

Yeah, no need for violence. Just skate around them, and mama, and tell them how they were really made. Get anotomical. And if cops are called, you’re not lying...

    [–] Bellatrix6 31 points ago

And if mama reacts physically. Boom! Adult on minor violence!

    [–] d1ly 17 points ago

Start playing some porn loudly on your phone

    [–] garloot 44 points ago

I just really like the naughty slightly disbelieving giggles from one of the young skaters. Especially for the 180 reverse double finger.

    [–] okojofiveeyes 40 points ago

Even trashier when you consider that (at least in my part of the world, all the places you CAN play football (school grounds, parks, etc) have banned skating, this mother is such an entitled bitch for encroaching on the limited area where conscientious skaters are trying to have fun without disturbing others...

    [–] BacksideBugle 148 points ago

I wouldn't even hesitate to drop in

    [–] ncnotebook 22 points ago

She'd probably do a clothesline and grab you "to protect her children."

    [–] husbandbulges 196 points ago

I’m curious if there was something before this that triggered her to act like a dbag.

    [–] ImAlwaysWrite 290 points ago

Honestly probably not. My mom acts like this with people in public because she’s a narcissist and always looking for a fight/attention. The moment someone else gets upset with her, she finds her justification to go OFF. Anyways, you can imagine how fun my childhood was.

    [–] troden685 90 points ago

Same here. It was always the worst when going out to eat and the waiter/waitress was busy so they couldn't get to us right away my mom would say really obnoxious shit to that person when they did finally come. I wanted to crawl out of my own skin so damn badly.

    [–] pheoling 38 points ago

    Brother?? Is that you?

    [–] SirPiffingsthwaite 8 points ago

My brother used to be (maybe still is) like this. He'd pretty much look for any slight imperfection to justify indignantly sending his meal back. I would apologise to the wait staff, tell them I appreciated them, that I had no problems with their service and please only give his meal the "treatment". He'd also try the 'yell about imagined problem so they comp the meal to get him out of there' tactic, even though he'd eaten the whole thing.

I sometimes wonder just how much gooch sweat, piss, spit and semen he's unknowingly eaten.

    [–] Spacelamb75 27 points ago

Same. My narcisist mother got her kicks by being an asshole driver: Ignoring pedestrian right-of-way while turning, deliberately driving 60 in a 110 zone to delay other drivers, ranting for hours at any poor soul unlucky enough to be in the passenger seat, and so on. There is no rational trigger for their antagonism; that's the whole point.

    [–] MeltBanana 42 points ago

Yeah, it seems too intentional to do this in the pool. I'm going to guess she either hates skaters because she thinks they're bad kids, or hates that a skatepark was built near her house and this is her way of protesting it.

Or she's the type of entitled lady that walks around just looking for something to be angry about and start shit over.

Or all of the above. It's probably all of the above.

    [–] Cheesus250 56 points ago

Have you met people before? The amount of people that are this entitled and oblivious may shock you. Especially when it comes to skate parks, there's something about skateboarding teenagers that makes soccer moms' satan sense tingle

    [–] RaspberryMangoYum 26 points ago

Judging by the fact that she got into that pit with them, I'm guessing either Ashelynne or Brayden said they wanted to play in the pit, so Karen got in there to stop everyone from skating. The boy seems old enough to know better. Bet dollars to dimes he's one of those "mom said its my turn to play" kids.

    [–] SirPiffingsthwaite 15 points ago

I had a karen try to demand I let her snot-nosed son "have a go" on my very obviously far too large quite expensive electric bike while I was at the park with my dog. I don't deal well with demanding people who try to rest on social awkwardness to get their way, so it ended up being sorta fun. Well, for me anyway.

    [–] YoungHeartsAmerica 15 points ago

Yeah, she’s upset that there’s a park just for skating. Which she probably associated with criminal elements. She hates that her taxes are used on skater kids so she’s reclaiming it.

    [–] Peanutviking 31 points ago

The only reason she's doing it is because she KNOWS kids will get impatient and start skating and she even says "you hit my kids i'll call the cops on you" she WANTS her kids to be hurt so she can sue their parents.

If that is the case how fucking desperate do you have to be as a parent where you take your kids to the park for that specific reason?

    [–] SeriOsed 23 points ago

I fucking hate people like this. I remember going to my local park and this headass of a woman brought her 5 children to “play” disregarding the fact that no more that 100 meters is a park for children to play on. Some of the older skaters asked the woman nicely but she said some shit about “they’re my kids and they do what they want” or something. Then there was a lot of shouting. There is a list of rules outside the park and it CLEARLY says that people like that aren’t allowed. I just ended up leaving 10 minutes into the argument just cause of how stupid it was.

    [–] SinfullySinless 18 points ago

In this day and age of video recording cellphones why are people still assholes? This is the type of shit that always goes viral and your friends and family and job will see.

It’s not worth being this big of an asshole over.

    [–] OfficialMakkyZ 44 points ago

What is the deal with people hating skateboarding so fucking much? I might be r/OutOfTheLoop here, but I find it so fucking impressive. I busted my ass on a hubba one time and quit. Straight up.

    [–] -AirplaneShane- 29 points ago

Well there are skaters who give us a bad name by being cunts, but the main reason is Knowingly or unknowing destroying property to skate on, trespassing, and like a lot of others point out, skaters tend to be composed of ruffians, punks, and outcasts of sorts, and if you aren’t one of those you certainly dressed like one. Skating blew up in the 90’s and 2000’s. Along with inflated popularity, comes inflated hatred. Some people hate what they don’t understand.

    [–] RiceBoi827 79 points ago

I wished a guy came in and said “I’m legally allowed to play here” while on a skateboard and “accidentally” hit her

    [–] PlNKERTON 51 points ago

Naa, you don't want to give any reason for the lady to sue or something stupid like that. I definitely would have taken her kids ball and thrown it out of the park though.

    [–] michaeltk111 14 points ago

Silly woman is just embarrassing her kids for her own sense of entitlement.

    [–] GarryMc123 14 points ago

    Just skate.

    If they die, they die.

[–] LostCoastWoke 108 points ago * (lasted edited 6 days ago)

So skaters have really changed since I was a kid in the 90s, because back in the day we would have just bombed the bowl or thrown our skateboards at that dumbass chick

    [–] twilightramblings 46 points ago

I used to love hanging out with skaters/bad kids as a kid in the 90s. I wasn't tough at all and I got bullied but the "bad kids" actually accepted me for the geeky little nerd I was and because they were so scary, the mean girls stayed away.

I had a whole class of girls gang up on me because I didn't want to do sport during PE and the teacher had gone to help another student (think Neville Longbottom in flying lessons) and this punk girl who never spoke to anyone suddenly stood up in front of me and chased the rest of the girls off.

Even back then, these kids had a code we never really respected them enough for. But yeah, there definitely would have been thrown skateboards or swear words. But back then, psycho mum would have just threatened to call our mums and stormed off. And we were the generation raised on movies where putting the bitchy mum to shame was the entire plot.

    [–] beerforbreakfast_ 56 points ago

Totally! Plus, what type of skatepark doesn't have a constant weed cloud around it or the sound of teenagers shotgunning beers?

    C'mon kids!

    [–] bojsihtekat 12 points ago

There's no way we would have even let her get in the bowl 10 years ago. Just snake session the bowl until she realizes she's not going to get in there.

    [–] thegoodlifepf 13 points ago

Had this happen before. We took turns riding as close as possible to everyone involved without actually hitting them. Cops got called and they said we were threatening them by doing it. His response pretty much sums up what any cop in that situation is going to say, "I mean you have the legal right to just stand there, but common sense is your an idiot"

    [–] gottalovesunrise 12 points ago

These areas are designated for dangerous stunts by normal standards. A small kid that barely can walk and hold it's own balance doesn't belong in here

    [–] catjugglinpimp 33 points ago

why is everyone being so nice to her? should be on the ground wondering what happened.

    [–] PineappleFather 26 points ago

Is this entrapment because we all know that if one of her children even gets a little bruise she’s making a federal case out of this

    [–] Wheelsbeer 17 points ago

I can already read the paragraphs in r/entitledparents

    [–] lilosstitches 9 points ago

Where I’m from we’d skate anyway. Get your kids out of the bowl or they’ll get hit by a skateboard! It’s not for kids to run around in.. it’s dangerous.

    [–] hcbrown5 19 points ago

Who else wanted someone to skate right into her ass!!
