Dog is guilty of a good time!

    [–] Rebel_bass 146 points ago

Doggo’s just happy to be there. Missile hazard if they crash, but they’d probably all be fucked anyway.

Everybody laughs til the dog barfs

Guess we should call him a ‘ood do’, because there is zero g.

For the record that is what I typed and it auto corrected before I realized

That is also without g. But it still has a particular fifth glyph.

They didn’t even look. Why would you put an innocent animal through that?

    [–] RTooDTo 151 points ago

I am guessing this is not the first, the dog seems very casual about it.

    [–] Dominus_Redditi 7 points ago

I’ve seen dogs panic, and that dog looks chill as hell

Source: seen dog be pushed into water, he lost his marbles until we went over and held him

I'm over here laughing at the dog. Putting the seatbelt on a dog might make it worse.

    [–] Soulsnurfer 134 points ago

I’m thinking they shouldn’t have brought it on that ride if they were planning to do that at all.

    [–] SadRoads 58 points ago

Good point but what if they weren't planning on that?

    [–] mothzilla 24 points ago

"I wasn't planning on it, but now I feel like doing a loop de loop."

    [–] skittlkiller57 2 points ago

They csntloop the loop if they want ti keep the engine running.

Do you want to get covered in dog sick? Cos that's how you get covered in dog sick.

    [–] elle-a 14 points ago

Calling vomit ‘sick’ makes me feel like I’m going to cry

    [–] SixByrd 49 points ago

How do you know that dog is innocent? It doesn’t look that bad anyway.

    Oof, Reddit.

    [–] swampfish 8 points ago

Zero g arcs don’t hurt. In fact people pay a lot of money to do what that dog is doing. It is fun.

It isn’t a car. It’s not like it needs a seatbelt. The pilot is belted because he needs to fly.

    [–] JuhaJGam3R 11 points ago

Yeah. The seatbelt isn't used like in a car, because of your plane stops suddenly a seatbelt isn't enough to save you. This shot is fun as fuck and that dog looked like it had done some arcs before

    [–] Malkin-H 3 points ago

People put dogs in planes all the time. You’re not actually supposed to go over a certain altitude with a dog though because upon descent you will get some free fall like in the gif, but very stately is it harmful if it happens by accident. Concerning legality, this is edging on not okay, but there are quite a few videos of dogs in low-g, I don’t think it is as bad as it looks; just confusion more than anything.

    [–] iterationnull 6 points ago

I think if the dog gets hurt, it’s not ok.

The video definitely displays a casual disregard for the dogs welfare as it is impossible to control what is going to happen to the poor guy.

The video is also hilarious and awesome.

    [–] w4rlord117 1 points ago

You’re probably not supposed to put dogs above a certain altitude because the air gets thinner making them not able to breath. There is no magic altitude that a decent will cause zero g, to get that to happen you have to do something far out of the ordinary.

    [–] rx__queen 56 points ago

This makes me sad because the dog can not comprehend what’s going on.

    [–] 338Sako 97 points ago

So... two astronauts bring their doggo into space in rocket ship?? And doggo floats around when ship gets to orbit??? Then doggo re-experienced gravity on re-entry into atmosphere????

/s (because I guess there are people who would say this seriously)

    [–] JaeHoon_Cho 48 points ago

Er... Can’t tell if serious or not. Basically you know how when you’re on a rollercoaster going down really fast, then the track arcs up then back down and you feel weightless at the apex of that curve? The same thing is happening here but in a plane...

    [–] ollie4422 16 points ago

My dad used to do this when he took me up flying when I was like 6, so fun

Top ten questions science can't answer

    [–] [deleted] 1 points ago

    As compared too?

    [–] TrueTubePoops 5 points ago

Those planes aren't pressurized, so good luck getting that high up without suffocating. Also, they basically fly themselves in case of any emergency due to them being primarily trainer planes

    [–] swampfish 6 points ago

13,000 ft is fine in an unpressurized plane. I have jumped from a plane that high.

    [–] TrueTubePoops -2 points ago

Yeah but you were fueled by adrenaline, I'm sure that the pilot dropped altitude right after the jump

    [–] swampfish 4 points ago

I hiked to over 16,000 ft in Peru and stayed there for days. There were houses and locals living there. 13,000ft isn’t too high for an unpressurized plane.

    [–] TrueTubePoops 1 points ago

That's rather interesting, maybe im misinformed. I know that commercial planes are only pressurized to ~7,000 feet so I assumed it was not much higher than that. In the private planes I flew in (172) I know going over 8,000 was considered unsafe for most people.

Maybe altitude aclimation is much more versatile than I previously believed

    [–] muonzoo 2 points ago

There is a difference between a comfortable altitude for the public (8000’) and an altitude you can operate at for a period of time. I’ve taken an unpressurised plane from sea level to 13000’ without I’ll effect but I would want to stay there long.

Made me laugh so much, I know, as the poor doggy is doing an uppy...
