    I'm sure they do, as I took this in Tennessee, I've just never seen one before even though I have lived in many parts of America all my life and travel quite frequently.

    Well I'm not in Australia. I'm in America and this was the first time I'd ever seen this type of sink. And if I had to go by the general reactions in the comments I would have to say it's at least mildly unusual to most people.
