If your motherboard doesn't have a speaker, then there won't be any beeps. Even if it does, there are plenty of cases where a beep code won't be given

[–] graphics card doesn't seem to be working Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

The only other advice I might be able to give you, is to get and adapter and try one of the other ports. If you happen to have another GPU in your house, then you can try that to make sure it's not your motherboard.

It's late for me, but I'll check any progress you send in about 8 hours. Hope something works!

If it's new, try it. I can't think of anything else besides trying a different set of RAM and seeing if the problem persists.

Your mobo doesn't have any USB 3.0 connectors. Or audio connectors. You have one 3-pin fan connector and two 5-pin ones. If you have a 4-pin fan connector then you'll have to buy adapters. Finally, based on my experience, that small group of 5 pins next to the RAM slots probably has your power switch headers. Short a couple to see what happens, basically

See if your CPU supports RAM of that speed; it could be a memory bus issue

[–] PC doesn't recognize Monitor after Driver updates Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

If you weren't getting a signal from only the GPU try your motherboard's display output; if you get a picture then you can attempt to uninstall the downloaded drivers

Try reseating the RAM and make sure it shows up correctly in the BIOS.

[–] 1050Ti no post white VGA led on motherboard. Recurring problem between computers. Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

If your motherboard has any display connections then you can use them; if onboard connections exist then there is some GPU there

CPU fans are made to contact CPUs TIGHT, so most likely no issue there. You could take the CPU out and inspect the pins, if any are bent then you could try un-bending them with tweezers and patience. AND DEXTERITY

[–] graphics card doesn't seem to be working Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

Try a different port on the GPU. If that doesn't work, then connect to your motherboard with the GPU plugged in (it might automatically go to your GPU, I think it will work after a few tries, tho) and see if it registers in Device Manager

[–] My motherboard has died Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

I'm not usually the best authority on this, but if everything else works fine, I just find a used motherboard that supports the same CPU and RAM configuration. Depending on the requirements, you can find a used board for under $50

[–] Yea my brothers pc is ded Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

Firstly (cause I don't know) make sure your hard drive has an OS to boot into. Second, see if the CPU fan comes on. If it doesn't, then it could be a PSU or board issue

[–] PC not booting Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

Does your motherboard have any speakers? Is it making any beeps when you turn it on? Just to eliminate all options, I guess you could also try reseating the RAM.

[–] CPU LED is red after changing RAM settings in bios (new build) Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

You say you increased your RAM speed and maxed the voltage in the bios? Sounds like you might've damaged your RAM; try a different stick of ram

[–] PC not booting Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

Try plugging the monitor into the motherboard if you haven't already done so. If there's no display then it's possible you might have a faulty cpu

[–] Buddy offering me a deal and not sure if worth it Adecker100 1 points ago in buildapc

The cheapest I can find for the processor alone is around $150. That, plus the ~$50 for the motherboard and RAM, makes this worth over 250 bucks. A 1080 ti is great for future-proofing your PC. You'll probably get around 120fps at 1080p, tbh. That CPU is no bottleneck for a 1080 ti. Oh, and the 1080 ti and 2070 super are so similar in performance that upgrading wouldn't be worth it unless you really want ray-tracing.

Yeah, I should've opened it the moment it started having trouble, but I didn't have access to this stuff at the time. I also couldn't open the case : (

Since the only thing molded into the back of the inside of the case is "Made in Singapore", I'll assume that it isn't

Being old. All that corrosion was caused by the motherboard battery. If you saw it you'd have a heart attack
