[–] Okay so besides the performance issues, this game is fucking phenomenal. Brian_PKMN 1 points ago in Borderlands

Pretty sure that was intentional. Happened to me too. It was a different delivery every time, so they're definitely different clips.

[–] Unpopular Opinion: These sorts of performance issues are completely unacceptable and have soured my excited for the game. Brian_PKMN 1 points ago * (lasted edited 5 days ago) in Borderlands

From what I've heard (I haven't had the patience to try it), the game will launch at 4GB of RAM usage. You'll be stuck on the Claptrap loading screen until it hits about 5.7GB, after which it will actually load the game.

The original run of Space Ghost Coast to Coast was from 1994 to 1999. They brought it back in May of 2001, before the official launch of adult swim, with more mature language and humor. Basically, it's when it started going off the deep end.

The episode where Captain Murphy gets stuck under the vending machine and gets addicted to scorpion stings is one of my favorite cartoon episodes of all time.

The official launch was September 2nd, 2001. They did some more adult-oriented content before that. Space Ghost: Coast to Coast was the first original show that Williams Street (at the time Ghost Planet) made, and technically Cartoon Networks first original program. It's original run was 1994 to 1999, and was brought back in May of 2001 (Season 7, one of the best). But besides two nights of "stealth" show releases in late December 2000, the actual, official launch was in September 2001.

The Wikipedia article has a lot of good information.

You have a good memory. From Wikipedia:

Between 4:00 am and 5:00 am on December 21, and December 30, 2000 (while Space Ghost Coast to Coast was on hiatus), several new Williams Street series made unannounced "stealth" premieres. Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The Brak Show all premiered unannounced; the official schedules listed the shows as "Special Programming".

[–] [Silph Science][OSM] OpenStreetMap and Pokémon GO: What Needs to Change Before The Next Map Update Brian_PKMN 10 points ago in TheSilphRoad

I'm certain there's more potential mappers like me.

I didn't know about OSM until I played Pokemon Go. I've spent hours mapping (accurately) my area. It's a fun, relaxing hobby. I have to think that the good is outweighing the bad.

[–] The Idea Of Tournament Refs Having To Begrudgingly Check If It’s Someone’s Birthday During A Competitive Match Makes Me Laugh. Anyone Else? Brian_PKMN 1 points ago in PokemonTCG

    Per Bulbapedia:

The card was immediately banned by Wizards upon its release, due to the fact that any player could claim it was their birthday in order to gain the potential 50 extra damage on the card's attack. This ban covered both the Unlimited format and the Modified format, one of only two cards to fall under this distinction (Ancient Mew is the other). Both Japanese prints have the clause "(This card cannot be used at official tournaments)" on the card bottom.
