homm3 is the bane of my existence - I once played a 12 hour session and felt DISGUSTING afterwards. deleted it off my computer.

In hindsight - best day ever :P

wow that sounds serious. My nerves were never detached, it was just the protective layer around them (Myelin) that was worn down.

Have you seen a proper neurologist or rheumatologist? I would highly recommend seeing both if possible - but a neurologist will be the most useful i believe.

unfortunately there's not much else I can offer as your situation is very different and sounds complex. i really which you best of luck and hope it all works out!

I took strong doses of dexamethazone and did occupational therapy and rehabilitative physiotherapy. I slowly regained movement in my fingers, toes and legs, and with that slowly built strength. a process of around 1 year total.

turns out it was dexamethazone, not oxandrolone. they all sound similar so it was familiar. Thanks for your amazing response. I don't smoke weed, but i'm sure it's a huge life-saver. I'm glad you can find some relief!

i'll have a look into the medicines - speak to my doc. thanks again!

we went to the hospital immediately after the first signs (my left foot dropped low and i couldn't lift it back up towards my shins, and I had a fall and couldn't get up).

luckily we did so because early treatment definitely sped up the recovery dramatically

hahaha oh god don't even start. i don't want to be the next two broken arms guy.

but nah i was fine - didn't really concentrate on that, i was so busy with other things.

The greatest mental/emotional/spiritual healing for me occurred when I stopped worrying about what was wrong with me and starting focusing on how I could help others. That shift from inward to outward focus is what finally got me over the hump, and it has stayed with me.

I absolutely love this and can strongly relate. you're awesome for coming to that understanding and pushing forward to help others.

And i'm so happy it all came back to help you as well in the end. Hopefully I can do the same!

i see an osteo and PT and have been working really hard on my core. it has certainly helped but the pain has been around since 2012-2013. I hope it is just imbalance, but we'll have to wait and see i guess :)

i don't watch family guy sorry. i'm sure people who suffer from disabilities would be offended, but it's good to laugh at yourself sometimes too!
