[–] I voted, may not have an AR yet but I’m an avid 2A supporter. We need to get rid of the NY Safe act. JasonFischer774 1 points ago in NYguns

Oh I live in Washington State, but with 1639 I am interested in how other people in states do to stay with in the law. Thanks!!

I wish it did't, usually when my post is popular, its usually not a good thing

My apologies, I tried to only post the text to this, but Legally Armed America did a pretty good break down on this, next time I will just post the video and post the text in the comments

I won't invest to much money in that, it won't take much for a over zealous prosecutor to charge you with a fealony for simply possessing a "ghost gun"

    I absolutely agree

That's no accident, just like "semi automatic assault rifle", there is no ways to be legal, you are breakings the law when ever they decide you are, notice that semilarities between this and 1639, "a citizen initiative" these guys are all colluding together

I wish that was the case, but people of our state keep giving them more power

Thank you for the support, I plan on moving to Idaho so this does not really won't affect me, but I still plan on fighting against this. Yeah the whole "Semi Automatic Assault Weapon" and the whole thing to where 18-20 years old's can not take their "Semi Automatic Assault Weapon" outside of their homes, I really think they are going to make us turn in all our semi-autos and our magazines as they are going to do in Oregon in 2020, its just a matter of time.

This is whats on a tax payer funded website:

It's time to lead or get out of the way The Washington State Legislature enacted a preemptive ban on local jurisdictions from making laws that might limit the sale or possession of firearms in our state.

If the state preemption law is repealed, the King County Gun Safety Action Plan will immediately:

    • Ban semi-automatic, high velocity weapons: Ban the sale and possession of semi-automatic, high velocity weapons
    • Ban high capacity ammunition magazines: Ban the sale and possession of high capacity ammunition magazines
    • Raise the minimum age to 21: For all firearm purchases and possession laws
    • Impose a waiting period: Establish a waiting period before taking possession of a firearm after purchase
    • Require safety training: Require firearm safety training before taking possession of a firearm after purchase

Thank you VERY much, I actually don't live in New York, I live in Washington State, which we basically are facing the same problems as you guys, where New York City gets to tell the rest of the state what to do, we have Seattle dictating us what we have to do. We reticently had I-1639 pass making all semi-automatics "assault rifles", so I am trying to come up with ways to get around this, and also be aware of this coming in New York

Yeah I know right, but thanks though :)

Do they give themselves the power to seize pistols?

    [–] Buying AR's 1639 JasonFischer774 1 points ago in WA_guns

    Awesome, thank you :)

[–] New way to sell AR's in WA State JasonFischer774 1 points ago in WA_guns

Agreed, I meant selling rifles in this fashion to get around the Training requirement
