[–] Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy excels at exploring the physical and social cost of being a superhero. Jellodyne 4 points ago in TrueFilm

Speaking as a Raimi fan, what I wanted was the movie Sam Raimi wanted to make, and not the movie some Sony executive wanted to make.

[–] X-Men vs Apocalypse: Pro-tip for players unable to defeat Apocalypse Jellodyne 1 points ago in MarvelPuzzleQuest

Luke Cage, Switch and Iron Fist. Fist can turn purple to black until 12 black, this can help with a hard to match horseman, and can really accelerate stacking black for Cage. After you get to 12 black stack more purple. Once you're ready to finish, fist green to start, then Fist purple, then work through Cage's black, if you can get a yellow uppercut saved up that is huge too.

Ok, you can design the 2x4 but Cisco still comes up with the names for the bad guys.

The new suit also comes with a length of 2x4 so you can just run up behind villains and whack them in the head before they can cause too much trouble

Or fill it to the top with gasoline, apparently

[–] France says 'crazy' that Apple and others get 'permanent tax haven status' - “The global tech players do not contribute financially to the funding of the common good, it is not sustainable,” said Macron Jellodyne 1 points ago in worldnews

If you earn 30% of your revenue in one country, you should be liable for taxes on 30% of your profits. The same goes for any fully owned subsidararies - if your tax haven marketing department booked 30% of it's revenue from Apple France, they should have to pay tax for that 30% in France. Don't like it? Don't sell any product there.

[–] Trump struggles to pronounce various words during rambling White House speech Jellodyne 1 points ago in politics

Since there was a fire you can't prove he robbed the bank. So why should he be punished for the fire? You're the puppet.

[–] Fox News rewards liar Sarah Sanders with contributor contract Jellodyne 1 points ago in politics

Hopefully she can get a sweet gig like her old job -- like a daily TV show but she can also just decide not to do it for months at a time.

[–] Spent the last few months designing my build. Picking up my van tomorrow. Here's my design. Jellodyne 1 points ago in vandwellers

You should model in the steering column and wheel in your sketchup - I think your reclined chair is occupying the same space as it. Also I suspect you'll need some extra foot room when rotated like that, looks pretty tight.

[–] The Disney/Sony Spider-Man dispute explained in a 45 second gif. Jellodyne 1 points ago in HighQualityGifs

This is a terrible idea for a movie and there's no way it could ever be good. What I'm saying here is if you cast Will Ferrell and John C Riley as Mario and Luigi it'll be a future classic.

If all bears were turned into fish it would become rather clear immediately that fish can't live on dry land.

[–] [NFLOfficiating] “In #DETvsHOU, DET #76 goes back toward his own end-line and forcibly blocks his opponent with his shoulder. By rule, this is a blindside block.” -Al Riveron Jellodyne 7 points ago in nfl

A pass rusher should be expected to be moving towards towards the ball from any direction, and an OL between that pass rusher and the ball needs to be able to attempt to block them. A 'blindside block' rule which doesn't take those two factors into account doesn't makes any sense.

The players' orientation with respect to the goal line is irrelevant, since neither player is trying to reach the goal line. The defensive player is trying to reach the quarterback and the offensive player is trying to block him. If you interpret the rule with respect to the goal of the player it's the legal face to face block that your eyes and every bit of common sense in your body thinks it is.

Hmm, good point, I have 3 stars closing in on max champ, will want to eventually dupe them all for sure.
