[–] Michael Rapaport airport dog poop freak out KrautHonkyCracker 2 points ago in PublicFreakout

Besides shitting in public, it's pulling way too hard on the leash.. obviously not a service dog

[–] To those of you who earn a good salary in a low stress job. What do you do? KrautHonkyCracker 49 points ago in AskReddit

Got my masters and luckily enough a friend of a friend just then needed someone who could do data analysis. So I moved to a small city in a poor state where most men graduate high school with little literacy/numeracy and end up going to work on farms or doing manual labor.

I spend on average about 4 hours a day doing pretty basic calculations in Excel and get paid twice the average income for this town.

It has it's plus and minuses. I meet tons of interesting people I wouldn't have otherwise come across and I have a very different perspective now on what I used to consider success. But it's also lonely and have a hard time relating my life to those of people I meet.

[–] Why does this license plate frame even exist? KrautHonkyCracker 1 points ago in trashy

You may not be able to see but it's a new mexico license plate. Don't think the porn industry has a big presence here..

[–] What is your favorite oddly specific smell? KrautHonkyCracker 2 points ago in AskReddit

The smell of laundry in a dryer gets me rock hard. I lost my virginity on top of a running dryer.

[–] It's time to vent Reddit, why are you pissed off right now? KrautHonkyCracker 2 points ago in AskReddit

Girlfriend of four years broke it off with me over a text this past weekend. I recently moved for work and we were trying the long distance thing. I knew things werent going well, but damn why you gotta do me like that!

    [–] I wasn't born a junkie. KrautHonkyCracker 3 points ago in opiates

This is a beautiful piece of writing. Thank you.

[–] What is a belief/position that you disagree with but can understand why other people believe it? KrautHonkyCracker 1 points ago in AskReddit

No, one expressed an opinion. The other compared something they care about to a flying spaghetti monster. Still a dope exchange.

[–] Redditors who were fired and then got petty revenge on your way out, what's your story? KrautHonkyCracker 11 points ago in AskReddit

Worked as an usher at a movie theater.. for $5.65 an hour, til 1am most times, on weeknights during high school. Literally stopped caring about taking people's tickets one day, just let anyone through. Got fired within an hour or so but took a huge box of tostitos with me and had CHIPS AND SALSA FOR MONTHS. I got high a lot at the time so that was incredible

[–] Hey, Reddit - What is the most hillbilly/ghetto thing you've seen someone in your family do? KrautHonkyCracker 5 points ago in AskReddit

I don't understand what's trashy about this. Or family was considered "hoity toity" (however you spell it) and our wake up alarm was still dad shooting deer or woodchuck out of the garden.

[–] Redditors, what WTF product did you buy off an infomercial that turned out to be worth the money? KrautHonkyCracker 3 points ago in AskReddit

Time Warner oldies collection is an amazing library. Granted, I saw the infomercial and then just downloaded it for free. But still

[–] Who was your favorite band when you were sixteen? KrautHonkyCracker 5 points ago in AskReddit

Revolutions Per Minute is by far their best, they kinda fell off after Sufferer and the witness. I hope it's good!

[–] Teachers who quit, when was the moment you realized that it wasn't for you? KrautHonkyCracker 1 points ago in AskReddit

All these folks doubting your claim, but threatening an adult with a knife after being physically touched by said adult is a pretty clear symptom of early childhood trauma. I wish schools did more to teach instructors about how to be trauma-informed (i.e., avoiding physical contact unless absolutely necessarily).

[–] What opinion of yours makes you an asshole? KrautHonkyCracker 5 points ago in AskReddit

Go hang out in your local college's sociology department. I'm a sociologist and damn I get sick of it sometimes. I heard the term "heteronormative governmentality" for the first time last week
