Good luck, I’m in a similar position too you. I gained a bunch of weight in a short time and am starting to get back on track while also reevaluating my choices. I hope you can reach your goal!

This is great! I wish there was a subreddit of drawn pokedex entries.

I find that people generally know the answer but it helps when they hear it from someone else.

Thank you, I’m going to try that starting tomorrow and hopefully it’ll stick with me.

I’ve been eating unholy amounts of the worst food possible because I know I’m not going to eat it for a while when I eventually get back on my diet. I have surprisingly progressed in my lifts, and I do have my macros and which foods I should eat figured out... for when I do eventually get back on the wagon.

[–] I need help, I can't stop Kurasader 1 points ago in loseit

Thank you, I’m always very aware of what I’m doing when I binge eat. I always without fail manage to tell myself that because I’ve done the diet successfully 2 times before I can do it again. Tomorrow I’ll completely reset my pantry and start my diet. It’s true I can feel myself being hard on myself, I’ll try and distract my self and take it day by day. I think my biggest worry is how long it’s going to take to get back to when I already was. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement and advice, I appreciate you.

[–] How do you pick yourself back up after a bad day, week, etc? Kurasader 2 points ago in loseit

I understand what you're going through, I've been going through a self destructive week. I feel if you look back at where you started, and compare yourself to how much worse it was then compared to your bad few days you feel like it's a much smaller injury overall, so you can just get back on the wagon easily. I believe in you, i also find that having another person who's going on a weight loss journey too so you can keep each other accountable.

[–] What does your grocery list look like? Kurasader 1 points ago in 1200isplenty

For the Greek yogurt I like oikos triple zero, they have a bunch of flavors all with 6 grams of sugar and 6 grams of fiber

[–] What should I do for healthy breakfast options? Kurasader 2 points ago in loseit

I agree with this, after not having anything that has a high amount of sugar I notice that i don't crave sugar at all and when i do have something sweet it's a different flavor. I also notice that when i eat something sweet, I can slow down and eat it without scarfing it down my throat.

I have had a secured card for 6 months and according to credit karma my scores are 720 and 700( because I have a hard inquiry) I applied to both the chase freedom and citi double cash and got rejected for both. What should I do next?

[–] 5’11 211 lb male, is 1200 too low if I do it for just a month? Kurasader 1 points ago in 1200isplenty

I'm 6ft 155 lbs and eat about 1350 a day to lose, and some days the hunger is constantly in the back of your mind but it's bearable. Some days i need maintenance days but if you can eat well 6/7 days and have 1 bad day the weight comes off quickly but i wouldn't recommend it.

[–] Confusing Fiber Cereal Kurasader 2 points ago in 1200isplenty

Personally I always look for the version that counts fiber calories as full carb calories in MFP to cover my bases. I don’t think you have to think about it too much if you can hit your goals consistently keep doing what you’re doing

[–] It’s all about staying around 1200 cals, right? Kurasader 3 points ago in 1200isplenty

I hope the rest of your day is better :). For the last 200 calories you could always drink them or find something you really enjoy and eat it to fill it.

A good rule that’ll reduce a lot of stress is that if you are below your calories don’t worry about it.

[–] Confusing Fiber Cereal Kurasader 6 points ago * (lasted edited 3 months ago) in 1200isplenty

My understanding is that the fiber passes through your body undigested so it doesn’t provide any caloric energy and therefore they remove the fiber from the total carbs and calculate the calories from what’s left. I think you do count it as a carb though when you’re logging

[–] On the left I’d lost 30lbs and thought I was hot stuff. Down 75lbs now. Wow! Had to go up to 1400 cals because I’m a giant, but I still love you all! Kurasader 4 points ago in 1200isplenty

I swear everyone on a CiCo diet knows different places to get the best guilt free food. Thanks for this awesome list, I for sure have to check some of it out. The only concrete one I had before was the artisan grilled chicken at McDonald’s because it was macro friendly.
