She's saying men aren't allowed to stay overnight.

[–] I'm making a dress from a pattern, but the pattern isn't my size. The size is a 6, but I'm a size 0. Should I alter it as I go along, or alter the finished product? LittlePetiteGirl 0 points ago in sewing

Oh, not based on my measurements, that's just the clothing size that's fit me the most consistently from store to store. I just measured myself and my chest is 32", waist is 23.5", and hips are 31". The dress is an empire waist dress, so only the bust measurement really matters, but it looks like the size six is 37 3/4 inches. I'm also worried about the arms because most of the body fat is in my waist, chest, and thighs so my arms are only about 8" around right below the shoulder. The dress pattern is this

If it's any comfort, it's often hard for artists to capture their likeness in their art. Here's an attempt at a self portrait I did and below is an actual photo of my face. They look like different fucking people lol. I've gotten better at capturing the likeness of people since then, but it is a common problem among budding artists.

[–] Here's how a school in Ontario deals with gender in the bathroom: LittlePetiteGirl 7 points ago in pics

Read my edit. I'm describing what people are afraid of happening. Here's an article discussing the issue. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/11/how-bathroom-fears-conquered-transgender-rights-in-houston/414016/

“Even registered sex offenders could follow women or young girls into the bathroom. And if a business tried to stop them, they’d be fined. Protect women’s privacy. Prevent danger."

This is a quote from the article explaining the reasoning behind bathroom segregation. I'm not saying that all women have this fear, but I'm saying that it's the driving reason.

My entire premise is that people are scared of something that could happen, but isn't actually an epidemic. So, I'm not insinuating that all men are perverts.

I hope I don't come across poorly, but women are usually uncomfortable with the idea because there have been a lot of cases where men have been caught in women's bathrooms because they were taking photos of girls' genitals by sliding a camera under the stall partition ( http://magicvalley.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/man-arrested-after-peeking-under-girl-s-bathroom-stall-in/article_8b034b02-a5f4-11e2-8753-0019bb2963f4.html ) or recording women ( http://wkrg.com/2015/07/28/man-arrested-for-recording-women-in-hospital-bathroom/)

There are tons of cases of men going into the women's restrooms in the hopes of being able to spot someone's genitals and this can make women scared of being violated if a man is inside the restroom with them. Also, women can be scared of being raped, ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3038412/Woman-23-ambushed-raped-busy-Manhattan-sports-bar-suspect-hid-inside-bathroom-stall.html ) because although restrooms are public, they are still a semi private area.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all men have this horrifying perverted urge that would become unleashed if unisex bathrooms were to become the norm, but with the current taboo of a man entering the women's restroom stopping most men from entering one without a reason, this means that transitioning from gendered bathrooms to non-gendered bathrooms might make women uncomfortable due to these fears.

EDIT: I also want to point out that these fears are often irrational because the likelihood of this happening is so low, but I'm just explaining the mentality that likely goes into this discomfort.

I'm 21 and never got in the rythym of making appointments. I can do everything else, but that alludes me. I'm getting better about it, though.

[–] What is the most fucked up thing you have seen in real life? LittlePetiteGirl 8 points ago in AskReddit

The asphalt might have sanded it right off. Accidentally touching a belt sander for a second can take of your finger tip. Imagine sliding down the road with it acting like an extremely low grit sandpaper.

I'm pretty sure I have ocd but since I was put on an SSRI for depression pretty much all of the symptoms went away. I'm so happy, ocd is awful (if that is what I was experiencing)

[–] I love my girlfriend, I think she's sexy, but... LittlePetiteGirl 1 points ago in confession

I had a copper IUD and did everything right, then right before a full year of having it (when danger of expulsion drops to almost nothing) mine tilted so I couldn't even tell anymore that it wasn't effective. That pregnancy was not fun. Nothing's fool proof but those cases are very rare.

[–] Australia's 'ugly' animals attract less study LittlePetiteGirl 1 points ago in nottheonion

That's probably not the entirety of it. People are researching the cuter animals first when it comes to researching previously unresearched animals, but first and foremost I think people are just focused on researching what's most relevant to disease and other things that could directly help people. My university is focusing all of its research on C. Elegans (roundworm) but that's because scientists have already mapped its genome, and they have a short lifespan. They're hugely relevant to diseases like Huntington's and Dementia and also they're hugely tied in to micro RNA. I think before people start focusing on animals that were not previously researched, effort and grant money is getting diverted towards what looks the most promising because we already know a good amount about it.

[–] I'm not attracted to my girlfriend... LittlePetiteGirl 4 points ago in confession

No matter which way you slice it, there's just no good reason to keep the relationship running. I was in a relationship that lasted three years, and it ended up dragging on for so long because of complacency. I developed health problems that completely changed how I looked. I was dating a guy into BBWs, and when we first started out, I was about 20 pounds overweight. I began developing a thyroid problem that causes weight loss, and also had to be put on adderall for severe ADHD that is also well known for causing weight loss. By the end of the relationship, I'd gone from plump to somewhat emaciated/stereotypical model thin. It was eroding my self confidence to know my boyfriend wasn't attracted to me, and it made him feel shitty that he couldn't have a girl he was into. Rip off the band-aid and find someone new. It'll be tough at first, but it'll feel incredibly good to know you can have someone else, someone you're actually attracted to once you're out of this.

He's making a stupid reference to Seinfield, where George Costanza is going to get married but his fiancé dies right before the wedding because she was licking all of the invitation envelopes shut and the glue turned out to be poisonous. :/

[–] What's the weirdest thing someone has taken offense to you doing? LittlePetiteGirl 1 points ago in AskReddit

Whenever I'm relaxing in bed with my boyfriend I try to fart on him as loudly as possible, right before laughing like crazy. That's hilarious it even made your girlfriend throw up.

[–] My wife made a comment that really bothered me today. Am I overreacting? LittlePetiteGirl 2 points ago in short

I think that's not that offensive. My significant other is 5'3" and works in retail, and he constantly can't reach things at his job so it's become a humorous thing for him to call up his supervisor and say "can I have some assistance stocking. I'm too short and I can't reach the top shelf" whenever he needs help. In my relationship we actually celebrate how short we are and I joke we're a little hobbit family lol.

[–] [Serious] Did you ever attend a wedding that was a complete disaster? What happened? LittlePetiteGirl 23 points ago in AskReddit

My high school sweetheart says we can't get engaged until we're at least 20, and we can't get married until we're 25 because everyone that found out we got married so young would picture exactly this. Can't blame him, I usually picture this when people are getting married during high school.

I think it's the combination of the scabs and her bizarre behavior, plus not knowing any of her mannerisms in real life. I definitely see kids on campus with acne or scabs like that, but know theyre obviously not methed out lol.
