But the sad part is Huffington Post is so bad that it's believable that it is actually them.

It happened in the future? Nah, i'm fucking with you. I know you meant 2016.

But her collapse wasn't just out of the blue. People had been talking about her health for weeks. People like Chris Cillizza denied it's importance. You can't put out an article saying "Her health doesn't matter" and then less than a week later say "okay...yes it does". It's hypocritical. If the second article was an apology on his part saying he overlooked the issue, then sure, I'd forgive him. But from all accounts it isn't (I can't read it because i'm not subscribed to them).

Also, I recommend looking at the rest of them. It's not good practice to read one, not like it and then dismiss the rest of the compilation.

edit: My favourite one is probably the one from Slate. They put out an article saying "Donald Trump is actually a moderate Republican." Less than a week later the same author puts out an article saying "Donald Trump is a Fascist."

I'm British. And no, the media is very obviously very left wing in both America and in Britain. Far-left may be hyperbole on my part. Far-left is like Antifa. But the media is extremely left wing in most cases.

edit: Also, communism/socialism isn't demonised at all really, by the left. Bernie Sanders in America and Jeremy Corbyn in Britain are both socialists and have HUGE followings not only by the people, but by the media.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 1 points ago in videos

Most of the left (which therefore equals most of Reddit). [edit: the vocal majority, I should say.] I can speak from pure experience too. I've been called all of the above and more despite the fact i'm a left leaning centrist.

The imgur compilation was to detail the left wing and the left wing media's hypocrisy when it comes to lying and manipulating, because they sure accuse the right for doing that an awful lot.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 1 points ago in videos

How come anyone who is right-leaning is a Nazi/Far-Right/Racist but apparently the Far-Left doesn't even exist?

[–] Daddy's Home 2 - Official Trailer MindCrypt 35 points ago in movies

I reckon it's wise. It will make people like him more if he pops jokes at himself. As Tyrion Lannister once said, "We all need to be mocked from time to time, lest we take ourselves too seriously."

That's fucking great. Sweet compilation, and the funny thing is, it doesn't even scratch the surface of how deceptive the media and the far-left are. I'm going to edit this link into my original post, if that's cool with you.

How do you misquote your own exclusive interview with the President of Russia, post misinformation and then link people to watch a clip of the President of Russia saying the exact opposite of what you said?

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 1 points ago in videos

That was badly worded on my part. Of course Deep Throat exists and is the source of information. What I meant with my comment is that there was not anonymous sources sending MSM a load of bollocks like a Trump sex tape etc. That was a error of miscommunication on my part.

I'm not going to respond to the rest as I would start to sound monotonous and repetitive with my arguments. I just wanted to clarify my mistake in the last post.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 5 points ago in videos

Oh, I definitely agree, it's a combination of both. Journalistic integrity is out the window but as you say, the 24/7 news cycle has become click-bait city.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 3 points ago in videos

Now who's being the condescending arsehole?

When Woodward and Bernstein uncovered the Watergate scandal they came out with stats, facts and names which led to the indictment of 40 White House representatives and then eventually Nixon's resignation. There wasn't 'anonymous sources' sending Buzzfeed a video of Trump being peed on, there was facts and pure investigative journalism.

"Are you confident that no votes cast in the 2016 Presidential election were altered?" "I'm confident, by the time I left as director I saw no indication of that whatsoever."

Oh, he didn't say any of what I said, did he? Also, I specifically said in the above that Russia did hack America during the campaign. But the results were not altered.

They are investigating if he did obstruct justice. You are treating it as if it's conclusive evidence that he did. The article you linked me even showed that they are investigating it now and have not concluded their results.

There is zero evidence because none have been provided to the general public. It may come as a shock to you, but I don't work for American intelligence agencies, so if they do have evidence that they have not yet revealed, how the flying fuck am I meant to know about it? How about we start talking about what we know instead of what you want to be true?

Comey revealed more damnable facts about Hillary's emails over Trump's 'collusion with Russia'. But, typically, the media are rather silent on that.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 0 points ago in videos

I understand what you're saying, but the truth is still out there. You just have to search for it now instead of it being provided to you. Independent journalists and media are still decent in reporting facts but people either refuse to listen to them or just don't know about them.

It's also good practice to read from media on the left (CNN etc.) and the right (Fox News etc.) and compare their two standpoints on an issue. The facts are usually found in-between the lines. Look for correlations between articles and ignore the opinions.

The former F.B.I. director has come out and said that there was no evidence of ties between Trump and Russia under oath and people, like yourself, still sit there and claim your conspiracy theory to be true. It reminds me of the 9/11 conspiracy bullshit.

Every single source that the media have touted as being evidence of collusion has been an anonymous insider, and has also provided ZERO fruition into anything substantial.

The intelligence committee's held investigations into it because 1) as Comey said, there was evidence of Russian hacks during the campaign (but had ZERO effects on the election results). 2) Because the media blew it out of proportion. If CNN come out and say "We have evidence that Trump has ties to Putin" then of course the intelligence agencies are going to investigate it, why wouldn't they?

Factual evidence has been provided from testimony that there is ZERO evidence of a Trump/Russia collusion. Yet people like yourself still come here saying that "Anyone who doesn't believe this has their head in the sand and is strengthening their narrative." It's insane behaviour.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 23 points ago in videos

I just gave you two examples above. Then there is also the entire Russia narrative made up by the media and has been proven false twice now in two separate testimonies.

People like you are part of the problem too. You just drink up whatever the media tells you because it agrees with your ideals/narrative and therefore witch-hunts (such as the Russia one) are blown up out of proportion.

Anyone with two brain cells could have told you the Russia shit was bollocks from the get go. Every single source of information was 'an anonymous inside source' for CNN or NBC etc. Which is something Richard Sherman is speaking about in the above video. Once you put out an 'anonymous insider' as a source, you can literally make up whatever bullshit you want (such as Buzzfeed's Trump pee sex tape they apparently have).

Not just that but during the election cycle the media put out the biggest campaign against Trump I have ever seen in my life. I'm English and every single day on OUR news was 24/7 Trump hate. I don't even know what Hillary Clinton's policies were because the media was doing nothing but shitting on Trump's. They even prioritised Trump hating over our own EU referendum at the time, in some cases. I would hazard a guess that it had a major influence in actually getting him elected, so it backfired for them.

Start using your own brains and cognitive reasoning. Look for the facts, not opinions. Just because a news source agrees with your ideals and narrative, does not automatically make it true. Let's stop these witch-hunts and start reporting non-partisan news.

Online media, sure. Print media is dying.

One of my favourite new tactics by Online journalists (especially on Twitter) is to put out an obviously false statement (usually against Trump), watch the retweets/likes go up and then post the 'correction' 30 minutes later. Here are two examples recently. 1. 2 [Part One]. 2. [Part Two]. Edit: Look at the retweet/likes difference between the falsified statement and the 'correction' too. It's truly worrying.

The media are making it nigh impossible to believe a single word they say anymore. I could go all day giving examples of them lying or falsifying information (or just posting insane or egregious bullshit).

Edit: Thanks to u/TeamVlad for this compilation which amazingly shows how false the media can be.

[–] Richard Sherman calls out reporters on blatant sensationalism and fake information MindCrypt 185 points ago in videos

The media is in a complete and utter shambles recently. Not just politically as this video goes to show. And not just in America, our media in Britain is just as bad.

The media really needs to up their game or they are going to be the laughing stock of the world soon.

[–] ‘Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira Set To Star In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ MindCrypt 1 points ago in movies

It's not that big of a deal but why say it? Announcing Danai Gurira will be in Avengers isn't going to sell extra tickets. So why announce it, regardless of how inconsequential, and ruin a surprise for the audience?

I gave the example of Kevin Costner in BvS earlier. His role was not big nor important. But it was a pleasant surprise to see him which was not revealed before hand.

I'm just sick to death of companies telling the audience every single minute detail of a movie before going in. We don't need to know.

[–] ‘Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira Set To Star In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ MindCrypt 1 points ago in movies

So a choice between spoiling the surprise for everyone or spoiling it for the select few people who look up set photos.

[–] ‘Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira Set To Star In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ MindCrypt 1 points ago in movies

That was another announcement which pissed me off. How sweet would it have been to witness Antiope randomly show up in the Justice League movie without any prior knowledge? I know it's not a groundbreaking reveal but it still would have been a nice surprise.

For example, I had no idea Kevin Costner was meant to show up in Batman v Superman. And even though the reveal wasn't gamechanging it was still a nice pleasant surprise to see him in it.

By announcing this shit it really ruins the surprise for future movies and leads to a lesser cinema experience.

I don't need to know every little detail of a movie before going in. Especially two blockbuster movies which everyone is going to see at the cinema like Avengers and Justice League. You've basically sold millions of tickets from the premise alone. Announcing Robin Wright or Danai Gurai's appearance in them isn't going to bolster sales, so why announce it?

[–] ‘Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira Set To Star In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ MindCrypt 1 points ago * (lasted edited 4 months ago) in movies

Sure, but I expect to see a flashback scene or something similar when walking into a Spider-man movie. A flashback in an Avengers movies would be pretty strange.

edit: Also, Peter Parker's parents are famous for being dead. Okoye isn't.

[–] ‘Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira Set To Star In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ MindCrypt 22 points ago in movies

Stop announcing shit like this. (Not you OP, I mean Hollywood). Now I know she survives to the end of Black Panther. To be fair, knowing Marvel's track record of character deaths, it's safe to say she would survive anyway. But announcing stuff like this ruins any type of tension when watching their movies.
