I wonder how much of my time is just Art of Doubt. Seems like a lot but then again it came out halfway through the year.

[–] did anyone have Berkowitz for Intermediate Micro? NotanumberNaN 1 points ago in Pitt

I actually really enjoyed Berkowitz's class, he has a lot of insightful stories and anecdotes that helped me understand why the material was relevant

Here's the course description from Pitt's site:

This course provides students with a broad understanding of modern software testing and quality assurance. Although it will cover testing theory, the emphasis is on providing practical skills in software testing currently used in industry. To that end, it will cover: manual and automated tests, test-driven and behavior-driven development, performance testing, and understanding and developing a testing process.

I think it's a reference to his last name

[–] What courses can I take to make me more computer literate? NotanumberNaN 6 points ago in Pitt

I would definitely recommend python then, it's one of the easier languages to start to learn with, and an understanding of programming will help you understand a lot about how computers work

[–] What courses can I take to make me more computer literate? NotanumberNaN 9 points ago in Pitt

If you're posting on reddit I assume you have some basic computer knowledge. I would recommend CS 0008 to learn programming in python.
