You got this honey. It ain’t over. I know you won’t change how you feel overnight but I do think you’ll learn how to rock it.

[–] theres no way out Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in depression

I know I’m just an internet stranger but I hope you can pull yourself out of the sadness of the loss even if it means lying to yourself for a while. If you’re straight, women are very forgiving.... trust me. Just be nice and confident.

[–] theres no way out Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in depression

Hey- my mom never, ever, EVER called me beautiful. No one in my family ever did. They STILL haven’t! Just not in their DNA I guess. I since modeled for vogue photographers, famous portrait photogs, etc. don’t listen to your mom. I promise- confidence is the key to fine- ness. I can’t imagine what you’re going through (having something beautiful then losing it) but I promise if you find a way to embrace it and rock it. No lady will complain. I’m sorry you’re going through it but for real, please try to just lie to yourself (“ I look fine!”) until you believe it. Plus, your mom was probably used to you with hair. And so were you. You’ll get used to bald and I promise, You will look fine as hell. Just own it! Like I said- a stylist can really help you find new clothes and glasses that will make you look phenomenal

But says who? Yourself or your lady friends (assuming you’re straight). I think we can get caught up in our own perception and it is often incorrect. There are a million white dudes with bald heads who are equally attractive, with all kinds of facial structures. Sometimes glasses can help. Honestly- if I was you I’d take 500$ and hire a stylist. They will help you figure out the best look. And a great barber if you are rockin the beard.

Tyrese- male model and heart throb LL Cool J- ladies man Jason Statham- bond dude for days Michael Jordan- on every overpriced shoe in Amurica

Just sayin man you can do this. Love life is about confidence. I’m sure you don’t look like a goblin. Work your face and your clothes and keep your head up

I didn’t mean start up per se. what if you started a non profit and helped people with no insurance cope with self esteem and depression issues?

I just think you’re pouring money into something that is irreversible. I mean, our president’s baldness makes him comical. Not because of the hair loss but because of the millions he poured into trying to rectify it. What makes people cool and likable is that they accept their faults.

I am sure you don’t look like a goblin. It’s weird when people fight it. Shaved heads are in. At the most you would be buying yourself 5 years of thinning hair. For what? You’re bald. I have a big nose. I laugh and think of the Monty python scene “hey big nose” I joke about it. It doesn’t bother me any more. I have no problem getting dates despite a big ass nose and being short af. I’m honest about my struggles, and people respect that.

You reached out for help, that’s something. Keep going

[–] im going fucking insane please help me Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in depression

Hey I started feeling like you did when I was 13. Turns out it was a hormone disorder- I wish someone had told me when I was your age. Please please do seek help. Don’t mention suicide or they will contact authorities, BUT, DO seek help. Maybe your guidance counselor can help you with talk therapy. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Don’t give up. Try your pediatrician and start tracking your moods. It could be related to the onset of puberty.

[–] Does it really ever go away? Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in depression

I really needed to hear this today. So many times in relationships it becomes the sole focus and it’s hard to climb out of. Thank you

[–] I have ruined my life and its all my doing. Papoosaloosa 2 points ago in depression

I feel you bro. I’ve missed so many things. Wasted so much money, and hurt so many people. I think I’ve found the best way to say sorry is not to kill myself (which I want to most days) but just DO BETTER. Don’t hurt people the same way, do something with what I’ve been given, etc. not every day do I have it in me to make these decisions but I know most days I will find the strength. The best “sorry” is to make better choices. Killing yourself will only hurt a lot of people, not to mention it will stop you from ever redeeming yourself. You can redeem yourself. You can’t change what you did but you can do better. I know I’m an internet stranger, but you got this

[–] theres no way out Papoosaloosa 2 points ago in depression

Hey- millions of people have this disorder. Put the 25,000$ in a new business- making u a boss man CEO who happens to be bald.

[–] You can't be pro sex-worker, and also make fun of the men who use the services of sex-workers. Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in unpopularopinion

So I’m saying I agree with u but I never really heard anyone say the guys were pathetic. I have a lot of friends who partook.

[–] You can't be pro sex-worker, and also make fun of the men who use the services of sex-workers. Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in unpopularopinion

I don’t think anything negative about someone visiting a consenting 18 + sex worker. It is sad that most of the ppl behind bars and suffering are the workers and not the Johns

[–] Roommates damaged my motorcycle claiming I am partially at fault Papoosaloosa 1 points ago in legaladvice

You can- it depends on the dents. I’ve seen ppl get in trouble with insurance bc the cost of repairing the dent was too high. They only got offered blue book- so look into that before you claim those. Still- small claims is it. Sorry about your shit roommates and bike

[–] Redditors who dropped out of college. What made you drop out, and what did you end up doing in life? Papoosaloosa 2 points ago in AskReddit

I dropped out after the first year. I had a horrible summer and in the fall met someone and ran off with them. I took a leave of absence from school and never went back. The person I ran off with ended up becoming physically abusive. I had a lot to recover from after I left that relationship, but the one GOOD thing he did was introduce me as a singer when we met new people. I am a professional singer 11 years later, with a lot of material to draw from :-)
