Yea they did, up until a few years ago when they reduced its speed to 45km/h to reduce the noise, it's since been increased to 60km/h as the cars were refurbished and are quieter now.

A few years ago before the RT trains got overhauled and still ran at 80km/h, they legit sounded like there was a fighter jet inside the train

I occasionally invite randoms to Act 2, sometimes it's an easy run, other times it takes a long time.

Had to wait for power to be cut and emergency responders to arrive before the train was evacuated (platforms were evacuated immediately). The train evacuation was very coordinated being escorted out of the station in single file. There were 5 fire trucks, an ambulance, quite a few police cars (both TPS and TTC) and a couple chief supervisor trucks outside the station. Witnessing this first hand changed my whole perspective subway delays, I pretty much never get upset about a train breakdown or signal problem now since I know there's much worse that can happen. The scariest part is that these "Priority 1" incidents happen about once every 2 weeks on average.

I witnessed a person jump in front of the train I was on as it entered Dundas West station a few years ago. It was absolutely horrifying.

There is no ticket booth or customer service area at Kitchener GO. But yea, probably a bad idea for me to ask reddit for help
