[–] Can't copyright the Carlton dance, Fresh Prince star told SayNoToNewsletters 1 points ago in entertainment

Why is a digital dance different from a teddy bear they enjoy for 2 weeks? He plays a free game and can enjoy a fun dance with it.

Back in my day, kids only had wooden blocks. I dislike buying them electronic toys, it stunts their creativity shakes fist at sky

this has way more triangles that a pyramid. I bet it’s way more sturdy

Weight gain is a side effect because it increases appetite or other things that increase calories. You obviously know better than me, but it just astounds me that people think it means CIco is dead

For some reason extroverts think it is a punishable offense to not hang out with them.

I’m happy and cordial at work, my colleagues like me, I get my work done well, I’m a team leader but I’m a bit of a loner and don’t like hanging out in groups. Unfortunately the latter two outweigh all the good far too often

Shit, I thought I fixed that before anyone commented; I even added a colon

Guess I was a couple minutes too late :)

Don’t gossip about your liege lord seems like a pretty standard rule. So he lets the rumor go long enough for everyone to hear, then clamps down on any further discussion of the matter

I worked at a credit card company and sometimes we shut people down for suspected money laundering. We closed everything: cards, banking, and store cards you didn’t know we backed.

My favorite thing was people saying they will never do business with us again if we don’t reopen their accounts. Uhhhh, that ship has sailed

They are never mandatory, just “mandatory” if you want to be a team player and ever move up.

I want to go in to work, get paid for my work and leave work. Is that so much to ask?

Haha, you could call it a flaw of mine 😂

Sometimes I go in a little hard on an anonymous forum, so I create a new account and move on

I had a pretty solid day though, hope you had a good day too

Cool, cool. Instead of acknowledging my point you’ll just walk away like all your past relationships.

Keep on looking for that perfect person, you’re bound to find them eventually. Never settle, you’re too good for that

Congrats, you’re the perfect partner. You’re the 0.01% who can land the partner of your dreams. Unfortunately, I’ve some flaws myself so I date people who also have flaws

We can’t all live the fairytale life you lead

It’s all perspective right? It’s not sad, it’s reality and I’m a firm believer that there are many many people in this world with whom I could have a happy life. Me not getting my first choice means I’m just like 99.99% of the world.

Have you never been broken up with in your entire life? If you have, then your first choice didn’t work out. You went for your next best option

Many, many, many people have a “the one that got away” which means you settled for someone else

I mean, I have readjusted my tastes. I’d rather date a plain Jane than a supermodel. I find a normal looking, average brunette to be sexiest woman there is. I can objectively say Gisele has a better body and face while finding the mediocre girl next door more attractive, because she is actually attainable.

I don’t mean to argue just for the sake of it. Like you said, it’s complicated. I’m merely saying we all choose ignore what we don’t find attractive about someone we like and we oftentimes learn to love those imperfections.

Let me try a different example:

I am generally not attracted to big noses. There is this girl i was super into who had a big nose. I am now turned on by noses like hers.

Imperfections can become attractive if the person is attractive. Sometimes it just takes time. Replace noses with freckles or glasses or a mole or whatever. We all have imperfections that our SOs learn to love

PS everyone is a consolation prize. I’d marry an Amal Clooney if I could. But let’s be real, she wouldnt marry me because she’s so many levels above me it’s not even thinkable.

10s marry 10s, 8s find 8s attractive, and 4s accept they are only gonna get 4s. This is something we all accept in life and what we’re attracted to changes because of it.

No one should ever be forced obviously, but on the other hand...

Imagine you’re 300 lbs and your only chance at love is another person 250+. You can either be alone, with someone you don’t find attractive, or take some steps to try to find them attractive.

It should never be forced or expected of someone, but if someone chooses it then who am I to say it’s bad
