The region will be permanently destabilized until some infrastructure are built and some laws are set.

NATO has been winning this war for years, its just that ISIS is cancer that keeps coming back.

But for real tho, I've never EVER heard this uttered by ANYONE.

Posts that have the comment "nobody has ever said this" are more like "most people don't think that way", this is the one where I've literally heard nobody EVER say it.

Who the fuck is racist against thicc latinas ?

[–] Nvidia's RTX 2070 and 2080 Sales Disappoint, Gaming Revenue Down 45% Scofield11 3 points ago in hardware

Nobody cares about that shit and its not like the 2060 isn't an upgrade, it is, its just such a mediocre upgrade in over 2 years that nobody actually buys these GPUs.

They basically just added new GPUs with the performance of the old ones, added RTX and put the same price as the old ones...

[–] TIL Late 80s, during visiting a zoo, Mike Tyson offered the zookeeper $10,000 to open a gorilla cage so he can go in there and punch the Gorilla who he noticed was bullying all of the other primates. Scofield11 3 points ago in todayilearned

Primates are much smarter than other species, in fact, we are primates.

Gorillas are not intimidated by humans, simple enough. The reason why lions, and animals like that SOMETIMES get intimidated by humans is because we're tall and their brains signal height with strength but lions go for giraffees so..

Elephants are not intimidated by humans but they will not attack a human if they aren't a threat.

Its just physically impossible for any man to beat an adult gorilla. Gorilla is basically much heavier and much much stronger and uses arms for fighting, the only reason humans sometimes win fights against lions and tigers is because both of those animals are fast predators and they're not actually that strong arm for arm, Gorrilas are. The reason lions win over 99.99999% of humans is because lions weigh more and they can overpower humans, but they cant strangle or squash someone with their bare hands, gorillas can.

A PC can still be cheaper than the Xbox One X and outperform. It has been done millions of times and the PC outperformed every time.

Nowadays, the sweet spot for budget gaming (that fits into the 400$ price tag of a console) is RX 570 and R5 2600 which blows every console away in terms of performance.

Also PC aren't just for gaming, they're multi-purpose, this is why I don't get consoles, PC's can literally, LITERALLY do anything a console can do but better, and more. A console is basically a compact PC itself, its just locked down with a different operating system and two greedy companies.

[–] Nvidia's RTX 2070 and 2080 Sales Disappoint, Gaming Revenue Down 45% Scofield11 17 points ago in hardware

Yes but you'd expect some kind of an increase in price/performance in two fucking years of computation technology.

Nothing changed, NOTHING in the last 2 years, now you can buy a 1070 TI-worthy card for the same price as a 1070 TI.. Its stupid, the 2080 basically is 1080 TI at the SAME price, and they basically just increased the price on their biggest GPU, fuck them.

    I can barely afford a 1060, little alone a 2060, or 2080.

Can I buy this nowadays ? If not, then what's it doing on this sub ?

[–] Ex-NASA astronaut Mark Kelly is running for US Senate to champion "science and data" Scofield11 1 points ago in atheism

Yes and NAVY Seals are similar in requirements except, of course, the physical aspect of the body is more important in the Navy than in NASA.

Also astronauts have to be really exceptionally good at surviving high amounts of pressure as most people faint and even die at the amount of pressure that astronauts get during take off.

[–] Landmark Australian ruling rejects coal mine over global warming - The case is the first time a mine has been refused in the country because of climate change. Scofield11 1 points ago in Futurology

Simple, China is already ahead of the game and their economy will not be comprised of coal, it will be a mix of hydro, nuclear and renewables and temporarily GAS.

Also I'm not a China shill I'm just stating facts.

I think Reddit is better because of subreddits anf not because the community is better.

Reddit is the same shit as 9GAG, when it comes to the community, its just that Reddit is more popular and there's a lot of interesting stuff on Reddit.

[–] I always wanted to be Shrek Scofield11 0 points ago in PewdiepieSubmissions

Its mostly dark humor. Some it can be seen as racist, yes, but its mostly dark humor.

9GAG is kind of like r/Imgoingtohellforthis with their obviously racist jokes but those racist jokes on 9GAG are actually funny.

I've seen literal memes just saying "51%", which depicts that 13% of US population (black) commit 51% of the crimes, on that subreddit, on 9GAG, if they make a dark humor joke, its mostly funny.

One of the funniest 9GAG comments is a response to a post that is basically a picture of a church getting striked by lightning, the commenter said "Friendly Fire".

Basically 9GAG comments are superior to many other websites and most Reddit subreddits, due to its dark humor nature, so you'll see a bunch of posts stolen from x site and placed on 9GAG but you'll also see a lot of comments stolen from 9GAG and placed on x site.

[–] It’s called earned time off for a reason Scofield11 3 points ago in BlackPeopleTwitter

There is a mandatory minimum amount of free days you have to take in a year in most European countries.

[–] It’s called earned time off for a reason Scofield11 4 points ago in BlackPeopleTwitter

Actually, just try to disprove them in any way possible and you'll get banned. I got banned for trying to fact check a "washington times" post claiming that Europe will be mainly muslim in 2050.

[–] Not quite sure what to upgrade to from my 970 Scofield11 3 points ago in buildapc

Also something to keep in mind is that competitive games like CS GO will always hit way above 144 FPS and games like PUBG aren't that high refresh rate demanding.

[–] Girl Outside the 7/11 Starter Pack Scofield11 3 points ago in starterpacks

I have no idea what "outside of 7/11" means because I'm not from US but I definitely know these types of women. They also have phones with screen protectors and cases but the phone still looks smashed to pieces.
