Radiohead is also not a loud band live. You don't even need earplugs in the pit unless you're DIRECTLY next to the speakers.

Only tip I can say is switch for floor tickets if you can. Radiohead in seats is good, but you'll enjoy it more in a crowd.

Where OP is sitting he honestly won't need earplugs cuz it's the nosebleeds.

Yeah, as someone that was relatively like this I've found that the only people I can really surround myself with anymore are people in similar situations who also had extreme trauma in formative years. Thank god for this site though; found a great amazing group of people that my wife and I have been spending our free time with actually experiencing the world around us the last few months and it's made a world of difference for all of us to get past our trauma and just be who we actually should be.

Not trolling at all. An extreme amount of CGI is outsourced overseas to low budget studios and it's incredibly easy to pick out when it happens.

[–] Lost in Space is out of this World! SirNarwhal 1 points ago in netflix

Agreed. I really wanted the oldest daughter to die about 15 minutes in. "Dad, come save me!" Bitch, you wouldn't even be in this fucking situation if you weren't a little shit and actually listened to your fucking dad in the first place.

Can we please, for the love of god, just stop using this stupid excuse for the fact that so many Netflix shows are complete and utter garbage? Like okay, it's pointed at a niche audience. Who then watches it. And realizes it sucks. Yeesh. Like stuff can be pretty objectively not good and you can still enjoy it and no one's saying you can't, but it doesn't make that piece of media any less shit just because you suddenly like it.

100% agreed. I came for the camp, got grimdark bullshit, and had to nope out after episode 2. May continue it past that, but holy hell these could be 30 minute episodes and you'd miss nothing.

It's a reboot of a campy old scifi show and it's exactly that, with a more modern tone.

Except it's not campy at all, it's just garbage. I wanted campy and got the most generic shit possible. Also apparently modern just means shitty grimdark soap opera bullshit to you.

No, a lot of people on Reddit who watch Netflix think that their originals should at least be well made and the extreme majority of them just... aren't and as a result they then cater to no one.

You can be a family show and still not be piss poor. Your comment literally reads as, "Oh, it's a family show, it's intentionally poorly written, has horrible editing and pacing, and some of the worst CGI in a recent TV show because that's what families want."

[–] Lost In Space - Series Premiere Discussion SirNarwhal 2 points ago in television

Weird, I found it to be the exact opposite. You could tell that large portions of the CGI, even minimal CGI stuff in scenes, had been outsourced to incredibly piss poor studios in third world countries. It felt incredibly unpolished to me and the rest of the cinematography in general, while good, was still nothing to really phone home about.

What're we, some kinda Danger Will Robinson Squad?

[–] Lost In Space - Series Premiere Discussion SirNarwhal 3 points ago in television

There's a difference between shutting your brain of and being entertained and doing what you're doing and excusing the fact that this new show is complete garbage. It has none of the feel even of the original 60s show or the movie; it's literally only the same in name alone.

[–] Lost In Space - Series Premiere Discussion SirNarwhal -2 points ago in television

It's more like... people were expecting it to not be a sci-fi action show at all. It's Lost in Space, it was about exploration and had humor and now instead Netflix served up yet another mediocre, poorly created generic sci-fi piece of crap.

I honestly don't consider Atlanta much of a major city tbh since it's got the same shit going on as Philly and a few other cities where the city itself is actually quite small, but sprawls out for fucking forever zip code wise. You could live an hour from the city proper and still live in the city there.
