[–] Add 50 Shader Slots as a Second Page in the Inventory Storm_Worm5364 3 points ago in DestinyTheGame

I would rather see them completely ditch the inventory system, and have instead the inspect menu access the collections directly.

In other words: You would see all the shaders available to you, and you would “buy” the shader as you’re applying it.

With this solution, Bungie could also implement a favorite system, which would always display your favorite shaders first.

[–] Kill Clip and Rampage are so often "god rolls" because so many other perks just aren't good enough Storm_Worm5364 4 points ago in DestinyTheGame

But you’re losing a ton of damage by intentionally missing precision shots.

I think the overall damage lost is bigger than the overall gain with headseeker.

[–] To The Guardians Grabbing Motes From My Kills Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

I love when I play with dudes that collect, but know when not to.

Yesterday I played Gambit after about 3 weeks of not touching it due to frustration (usually get bad teammates that throw rounds, waiting to invade, invade when enemies have zero motes, etc.) and I got a pretty good random.

He was collecting the motes I "spawned" but he stopped collecting them when he saw I had about 12, just looked at me, and then started killing adds behind me without moving, letting me collect motes around him.

It was just a great feeling. It's a shame that most randoms seem to not give a damn about the other players...

I don't think anyone would call it lazy. I haven't seen anyone calling them lazy for bringing the few ones they did. I've actually seen the opposite.

I think it's lazier to leave almost everything behind than to actually bring it to Y2. Because one means they literally don't do anything to do, while the other one means they actually worked on all the weapons, and then we, the player, would have a lot more options.

[–] The Tetrahedron armada is literally the Darkness [THEORY] (Now with 100% grimoire) Storm_Worm5364 7 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Ghaul was definitely the leader of the Cabal Empire. He led the Coup and then took control over the Empire.

Supposedly, Calus wasn't killed because Ghaul and Consul feared that killing such a beloved Emperor would cause the Cabal populace to riot, and end up overpowering them. I say supposedly because we discover this through Calus himself, soo...

They gave him the Leviathan, and some troups instead.

His army was the red legion, but Calus' army is much larger. Always has been.

Not true, as far as I know. Calus lost the majority of the Cabal army when he was overthrown. He also had shadows for a reason. He wouldn't really need shadows if he had the numbers.

He wouldn't need to send small, stealth attacks after Cabal aristocrats and Ghaul if he had a much larger army.

But the vex are their own thing seemingly, not really concerned with whatever else is going on?

I disagree. The Vex always go for whatever choice means they get to live. Allying themselves with us WOULD ensure they wouldn't lose all the territory they have on Sol.

Humanity doesn't care that the Vex are on Nessus, or even Venus... And they don't seem to care that we have Earth. From what I've seen, they're just androids that populate as many planets as they can.

They don't seem to take planets that are already populated, though...

Their main goal is just to live forever, and colonize as many planets as they can. If they don't align themselves with us, and we lose the battle against the Darkness, then their plans for Sol are definitely doomed.

Either way, I don't think we're actually gonna ally ourselves with an entire enemy race because that would mean fewer enemy races to fight, and I highly doubt Bungie wants to do that.

My guess is IF we get allies (which I think we will), we will get certain groups as allies. The Spider would be one, Calus and his Loyalists another, maybe Variks comes back at some point with a new House of Judgement and we become allies.

    Only time will tell.

From what I understand, the Cabal Empire defaulted back to Calus once Ghaul died.

Either way, I bet if Calus were to show up, the Cabal populace would embrace him with open arms.

[–] Can the Fanatic in the Hollowed Lair not go immune 100 fucking times? Storm_Worm5364 -7 points ago * (lasted edited 4 days ago) in DestinyTheGame

About two weeks ago I said the same thing (he goes immune too many times, during his "last stand", where he tethers players and goes immune non-stop until his death), and I got downvoted...

Guess I might've said it too soon, and now people are realizing how annoying it actually gets after you've fought him 20-30 times...

[–] Second Black Armory Leak Storm_Worm5364 2 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Can't source right now since I'm on mobile. But I bet that it's in the frontpage of r/raidsecrets.

[–] Second Black Armory Leak Storm_Worm5364 2 points ago in DestinyTheGame

I don't find it believable because we know that new patrol zones are most likely not gonna happen.

I was expecting them to build upon the old patrol zones, but the plaguelands were completely new compred to the Cosmodrome.

With that being said, there are new audio files added yesterday that heavily imply we're going back to the Cosmodrome.

[–] Watch out for Sunshot's Explosive Rounds. A bug in 2.0.4 made them pretty loud (not nearly as bad as 1K Voices, though - here's a video of it). Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

It's definitely loud. Louder than intended.

I replaced the video with a comparison. Turn the volume all the way up (unless you got a mixer that makes 100% volume unbearable), and you'll DEFINITELY hear the difference.

It doesn't seem that bad just by shooting it a couple times. But during gameplay, it definitely gets annoying quickly, due to the differences in ranges, and the explosive rounds blasting next to you one second then the next it's just a Sunshot sound.

[–] "Ikora was telling me about a hive tome called the book of sorrows" Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

I got triggered when he said that because he couldn't even get the name straight. It's Books of Sorrow, Ghost! Not Book of Sorrows!

[–] They are still out there *spoiler* Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Wonder how they are gonna explain Taox still being alive, IF she still is actually alive.

We know the Osmium Heirs never got to her, but it has been millions of years since her betrayal, and she never accepted a Worm (at least not as far as we know).

[–] Triumph score should be under your light level like grimoire in D1 Storm_Worm5364 4 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Forcing people to use an emblem just to show off your Triumph score is not worth it. Especially when the emblem looks like... Well, that.

At the very least, there should be a Show/Hide option in the gameplay settings, like the Helmet option that lets you remove your Helmet when you're at the Tower.

[–] A new illustration of Crota and Oryx from the Grimoire Anthology's store page! Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Sure but sometimes, those decisions are also the worst ones to take.

Things like not protecting the Traveler doing the Red Legion's Raid on the Last City, trying to close any possible relationship with Rasputin, not going after Uldren at all (that alone would open us up for other attacks, as every single one of our enemies would see what they could get away with if they were powerful enough), etc.

Hey, you don't become Tower Commander for nothing.

Even though lately, he hasn't been the best of leaders.

[–] A new illustration of Crota and Oryx from the Grimoire Anthology's store page! Storm_Worm5364 10 points ago * (lasted edited 4 days ago) in DestinyTheGame

Because we don't have the capacity to attack our enemies head-on, in conquest battles.

We can't really gain any territory because we have multiple enemies against us, and we can't afford to thin our resources by spreading them around areas that have no real interest to us.

Our only interest right now is protecting the city. Only after we deal with the looming threats can we start rebuilding elsewhere.

[–] Petition to change the Blade barrage symbol from golden gun to actual knives. Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Ye, but that's just a neutral exotic that doesn't really do anything fantastic. Most people default to that exotix because there's really nothing close to being as universally good under most circumstances.

I personally use Transversive Steps since reload speed isn't a problem (Ace of Spades + Motion to Vacate [which has slideshot], not to mention that Transversive Steps reload the current weapon by sprinting...

[–] Petition to change the Blade barrage symbol from golden gun to actual knives. Storm_Worm5364 6 points ago in DestinyTheGame

It's usually the way she goes.

I remember people going crazy over Arcstrider throughout almost the entirety of Y1. Or even Sentinel (the whole overshield on melee kill + Sentinel itself being really good. Hell, even Sunbreaker was crazy, because it genuinely one-shot any Super apart from a Sentinel using his protective shield.

Now its the time for Warlocks to finally have something. We didn't have much, especially in the exotic department. Had no good PvP exotic (and still kinda don't, honestly).

[–] Heres a image of Hive Knight's face without armor. Storm_Worm5364 5 points ago * (lasted edited 5 days ago) in DestinyTheGame

    No?

The worm ties them to the Sword Logic, which is how they are able to keep growing in power. Hive are really just Thralls. All of them.

But through the Sword Logic, they can grow in both literally and figuratively, as in- they become bigger the stronger they are, and most Hive with enough strength then take one of two paths. Wizard or Knight.

[–] Heres a image of Hive Knight's face without armor. Storm_Worm5364 9 points ago * (lasted edited 5 days ago) in DestinyTheGame

D2 tries to establish some "normality" between Hive. Basically, that every Hive somewhat looks like a Thrall, which makes sense since AFAIK, every bone'y part of a Hive's body is actually armor, and not part of their body.

With that being said, I would actually love to see some Hive higher-ups having different armor, customized armor, etc... Basically, Ultra's should look visually different from their normal and Major counterparts.
