[–] [UPDATE] Infographic — All of The Division 2's Brand Sets & their available gear slots [ + printer-friendly version]. Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in thedivision

I'm not gonna bother. You are factually wrong, and there's literally no argument to be made here.

An infographic is an image that provides information/data. That is literally what I posted.

Even if what I posted was just the name of the brand set and the gear slot icons (as in- without the set bonuses), it would still be an infographic by definition. Because it would still be providing information, visually, on what gear slots those Brand sets are available.

    I think that's what I'm running with! :D

    Gonna check real quick.

EDIT: Not quite, but close enough. Still hunting for some pieces, but I haven't played much given how WT5 isn't here yet.

[–] Unpopular opinion: patch 1.0.4 wont save the game, content will Storm_Worm5364 2 points ago in AnthemTheGame

The game doesn't need content more than anything else, right now. It needs huge overhauls to the underlying systems.

The Division's Patch 1.4 didn't save The Division because it had content. Destiny 1's The Taken King didn't save Destiny because it had content. Destiny 2's Forsaken didn't save Destiny 2 because it had content.

Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls didn't save Diablo 3 because it had content.

These games got saved by the changes the patches brought. These patches overhauled their respective games to the point where most, if not all the systems that mattered the most, were put in a really good place.

I'm thinking about doing a Weapon talent as well as an armor talent infographic. But those would require a huge amount of work (just remaking all those Talent icons/logos alone would probably take me a couple days), and I'm not ready to go through such an undertaking just yet.

Problem is that the information floating around has inaccuracies, as well as misinformation.

I've seen spreadsheets that had things that we know are incorrect... Others that aren't complete. Right now, I'm in-game grinding away, and making my own checklist, just in case. I'm also inspecting basically every player I see, and updating said checklist when I get new info.

EDIT: I have updated the infographic. Thanks for the heads-up. :)

How does it look if you uncheck the "Fit picture to frame" option?

Because once I finished the printer version, I checked how it would look by unchecking that option, and everything fit the page. But if I leave the option checked, it does cut the sides.

[–] BioWare, your roadmap is not going to keep players playing. Storm_Worm5364 12 points ago in AnthemTheGame

I completely disagree with the notion that only new enemies somehow make things feel like new content.

Destiny’s King’s Fall Raid feels nothing like Destiny 2’s Last Wish Raid. Both focus on fighting Taken enemies.

Vault of Glass Raid feels nothing like the Eater of Worlds Raid.

Leviathan feels nothing like Spire of Stars (and Spire of Stars even has the same architecture as Leviathan, even). So on.

New content feels new by being exactly that. New. Now if it is quality content or not, that's another issue entirely. The Division's Incursions were supposed to be Raid-like activities, when in reality, when the first one came out, it was nothing more than the shittiest mission with bumped up health and damage. That made it feel basically useless. But not because of the enemies, rather because of its design.

    Thanks Joker!

One thing, though. I had a typo on the 3rd Badger Tuff bonus, and I have updated the image with the correct stats.

I might at some point. But the problem is that each perk has an icon, and having to re-create high-res versions of all those icons is a huge undertaking.

But I would like to do that, at some point.

I believe Hazard Protection is protection against every status effect.

[–] Infographic — All of The Division 2's Brand Sets Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in thedivision

If you have two brands that increase the same stat, they will stack.

Example: Using 1 piece of "5.11 Tactical" with 2 pieces of "Fenris Group AB" will give you +20% Protection from Elites. (+10% from each set).

Wanted to do that, but couldn't due to time availability (plus I was tired when I posted this).

Will probably work on a version with the Armor pieces available at a later date (possibly during the weekend).

What color do you think would be easy for you to see? My initial idea was to use the game's orange, but orange on a yellow background was horrible in terms of visibility. I tried red as well, but it looked out of place.

I'm asking you this because maybe you would have a better idea of what color would be best for you, and potentially others that have the same problem.

Yup, you're correct. The source I used was incorrect.

Updating now, thanks for the heads-up.

    Thanks. :)

All of them seem to have six pieces. At least I have never seen a discrepancy when it comes to that, while playing.

EDIT: Scratch that. According to this link, they seem to vary.

[–] It's OK that WT5 and Tidal Basin don't have a release date yet Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in thedivision

This is actually a good thing though. They want to get all of the major fixes done before they release any new content. We should appreciate this, not get mad at them for doing this.

This should be already working... You don't release a game focused on end-game when your end-game doesn't work properly.

There's really nothing to appreciate from this given how there's little of value to do without having WT5. THere's no point in grinding anything that isn't cosmetic right now. And it has been like that for a lot of people already.

I got from start to WT4 in about 3 days (WT1-4 was mere hours), and I've been basically just doing random stuff here and there for the last 2-3 days already.

I can only imagine how the people that got the early access feel right now... But having to wait 2-3 weeks until you can actually start playing THE game, that's not a great thing to help with the game.

And it certainly won't help with the more cynical people out there, since this can easily be seen as Massive delaying the true end-game for long enough so reviewers put up their review without WT5 being reviewed.

[–] After Season of Opulence, can the next Season be "Season of the Crucible Team Returning from Vacation"? Storm_Worm5364 1 points ago in DestinyTheGame

Ophidian Aspects are decent. But they aren't better than Transversive Steps (at least on PC) because Transversive Steps reloads your weapons on sprint, as well as giving you more mobility and about double the slide distance.

Other classes have a wide selection of pvp exotics to pick from, we Titans dont.

Apart from the fact that they don't... Only Hunters have a wider than normal variety to pick from.

    Warlocks

Warlocks have never really had any good PvP exotics for more than a couple of months. We had Karnstein Harmlets (healed you for like 10HP with every melee hit, basically ensuring a win against 1-on-1 battles) back in vanilla, but that was nerfed rather quickly. And it's been Transversive Steps-City since then.

Chromatic Fire was decent enough before it was fixed, but it was only decent because it was bugged, and doing more Firefly damage than intended. In other words: it was never supposed to actually be good in the first place. Just a niche exotic. So ye... Nothing like OEM.

    Hunters

Like I said, Hunters have had a wider array of Exotics to choose from. Right now, going with Gwensin Vest is basically the way to go. But you have the new Exotic, Liar's Handshake, which is yet another good PvP exotic. It's basically Karnstein Harmlets pre-nerf on steroids. Wormhusk Crown, Shards of Galanor, FR0ST-EE5 and ST0MP-EE5 are decent enough Exotics to run with, but not great. Nothing like OEM.

Overall, while Titans have less to choose from than Hunters, they still have the objectively better Exotic for PvP. It's also important to remember that Titans have one-hit melees, while the other classes don't.

EDIT: Downvote me all you want, but it's true, and you know it.

If Bungie has a team dedicated to PvP changes, the rate of the sandbox changes shouldn't affect the rate in which they make changes go live. It makes no sense to have a dedicated PvP team when they are constrained by the sandbox team. I'm not sure if they actually have a dedicated PvP team or not, but it seems like they do.

I never said Heavy spawns have never been changed. I said they have seen little change. Both in the amount of times they have been changed in almost 2 years (a.k.a. since vanilla), and the actual changes made. Overall, since vanilla, they have definitely improved. But it shouldn't take almost two years to make the Heavy changes they did, and have them not be as they should be. They still need tuning.
