The house of lords will also slow it down if they manage to stay awake when the debate from them is going on😂.

The uk should hopefully scrap all convictions related to cannabis one day after legalising cannabis. I’d love this to happen and so many more would, just wish fucking torie whips would let the plant be legalized!

[–] Spotify might let free users skip all ads ThatCRAPPYPLAYER 24 points ago in technews

Because it will give better insight towards advertisers

Here is how it might look like for an advertiser/s view on Spotify’s ad/s statistics page.

    Spotify’s Ads Statistics:

    Targeted Age Group/s: Male’s aged 15-20, Male’s aged 25-30, Female’s aged 15-20, Female’s aged 25-30

    Targeted Music Genre Group/s: Male’s aged 15-20: Relaxing, Male’s aged 25-30: Relaxing, Female’s aged 15-20: Relaxing, Female’s aged 25-30: Relaxing

How many male user’s from all age group’s skipped your ad : 42/100

How many female user’s from all age group’s skipped your ad : 21/100

Average second/s all user’s listened to your ad before skipping: 7/30

    Average second/s male user’s listened to your ad from aged : 15 - 20: 5/30

    25 - 30 : 15/30 ...

    Average second/s female user’s listened to your ad from aged : 15 - 20: 12/30, 25 - 30: 30/30

What i’m trying to say is it give more control to the advertiser/s & user/s. For example why did male’s aged 15-20 skip earlier on than male’s aged 25-30 maybe it’s because people younger don’t like to wait. Another example why did male’s aged 25-30 listen to the ad fewer seconds than female’s aged 25-30 is it because all the testosterone males have compared to female meaning male’s are more eager to get to the next relaxing song. None of that really maters why people can think what they want but in the end female’s aged 25-30 are that advertiser’s target audience now.

It gives more insight to who, where, when and why people skipped the ad. Not only that the user/s have more control felling that they are in power to listen or not.

If a user listens through all the ad then the user’s brain it could be simply telling them I like this brand/artists ect and even if a user skips most of the ads displayed by that one advertiser/s the user will still be more likely to shop or listen to that artists even though they didn’t like the ad because it gave the user ‘power’ felling as their in control and the reason they think they are in control is because the brand/ artists let them do that even though it’s now them it’s just how Spotify ads work.

The user’s brain will either know that that’s how Spotify ads work or they don’t or they do know and their brain could possibly be telling the user that that brand/ artists ect let them do that.

Also when the user come’s to skip the ad instead of being the traditional

    Ad Brand being here ⏪ - ⏯ - ⏩

    It could be

    ⏪ ——————————Ad’s Brand—————————-⏩

Making you look more at the brand giving brand awareness.

Advertising is not only about getting what ever you wanted to get out and make people know about it, it’s also about understanding the user.

So the miners are sacrificing simpleness ease of use for a bit less in return? is there no other benefit for the seller (miner)?

Thanks for coming back so quickly
