[–] Australia offers to help US with gun reform TheCopperDimes 5 points ago in worldnews

I feel like this genuine reason clause can't work in the US since the second amendment gives everyone an automatic "genuine reason" to own a gun since it's every US citizen's right to own a gun.

[–] Would you choose to be part of this experiment? TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in WYTTD

Hey Mutant_llama1, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm gonna have to remove your post. All posts must have WYTTD in the title. You must also put the deal in the title of the post. It's okay to explain further in the description section, but again you have to put the deal in the title. You can always resubmit if you are able to fix this issue

    Thanks for understanding, u/thecopperdimes

[–] You become immune to all illnesses, but you can never go to sleep or be rendered unconscious for the rest of your life. TheCopperDimes 3 points ago in WYTTD

Do I still need sleep? If I do then I'll die anyways in like a week even if it's not from illness. If I don't need sleep then that's not really a down side. I'll just be super productive and never get sick.

[–] What are you doing to future proof your career? TheCopperDimes 3 points ago in AskReddit

My job allows me to move up to management at any time so I'm working my ass off to show that I'm ready and I'm trying to move up as quickly as possible.

[–] Is using this bottle a good way to store weed? TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in trees

I learned from friend that a small glass jar with a metal screw lid works the best. The place I work at has the perfect size syrup bottles for this purpose to store personal amounts. The glass and the metal lid stops the smell and keeps it fresh, also lasts longer than plastic.

[–] Americans of Reddit, of the fifty states, which do you like the least and why? TheCopperDimes 3 points ago in AskReddit

Kansas. Only because I was raised in Missouri, and as a Missourian we are obligated to hate that state no matter how nice it is.

[–] Should there be mandatory IQ tests for government/political positions? TheCopperDimes 2 points ago in AskReddit

I feel like Trump was elected because because of his anti-establishment mentality that people believe that he has. Even though he's been bankrupt multiple times, he is smart enough to know how to sell his name and his brand to become rich again and again. I want to say that I am totally against Trump, and I don't believe he has the ability to run the country effectively, but he does know how to sell his brand and himself enough to become president. I believe Trump knows exactly what he's doing and thats the problem. If he was just dumb or fell into the position it might be easier to get him out and to get someone competent into office, but he's smart enough to know how to be controversial yet stay in office.

[–] Whats the best anti-virus, anti-malware programs for a new computer? TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in AskReddit

I've used malmare bytes which I really like. Also one windows 10 I've heard Windows defender is actually competent. But honestly I don't actively use a virus protector. My defense to that is that I only use websites that are big companies like Google, steam, Amazon etc. I know these companies have an extremely low risk of giving me a virus so I take that risk to keep the load on my computer down.

If you like to torrent or use lesser known sites then for sure use virus protection. Malware bytes is good, avoid big names like AVG or norton is my advice.

[–] Should there be mandatory IQ tests for government/political positions? TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in AskReddit

I think it's that IQ tests have been shown to be flawed or even false. Plus putting restrictions on who can be a government employee inherently causes discrimination on lower classes because they don't necessarily have the money to afford higher education to achieve a "higher IQ". The goal of a democratic government is to give every citizen of that country a fair choice in how the country is ran. Adding restrictions takes away that right from everyone. It'd be nice to have all smart people in government, and it 100% takes a very smart person to get elected whether you like them or not, but you need the choice to elect anyone for office to have the fairest possible government.

[–] Eating out of a container of ice cream with scoop marks in it is the same as eating a bread roll with bite marks in it TheCopperDimes 0 points ago in Showerthoughts

Just like bread rolls though, my wife and I have separate ice creams. So I always (hopefully) know that those are my bite marks/ice cream scoop marks.

[–] You live up to 30 years, but you can fly at up to 60 miles per hour. TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in WYTTD

Thirty years from now or thirty years from when I was born? Either way is no for me because that cuts my life too short for the ability to fly to be worth it.

[–] You live to be 200 years old, and you age only half as fast as a normal person, but owls go extinct today. TheCopperDimes 4 points ago in WYTTD

Hmm I don't know what the environmental impact owls have besides eating rodents so yea I'd take the deal to live over twice as long. Sounds awesome. The only sad part is losing such a cool animal

[–] Snacks at the movies now cost a more reasonable amount, but the tickets are twice as expensive. TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in WYTTD

Super late but I wouldn't do that because you're supporting the movie theater by buying their concessions. Most of the ticket profits go to the movie company that produced the movie you are seeing.

[–] /r/politics literally has a bot which removes positive articles about Trump TheCopperDimes 6 points ago in CringeAnarchy

Except his paychecks while in office are from tax payer money, so what you just said is meaningless. Also many people believe that the national Park service is very necessary and deserves the funding.

[–] I live in Missouri. Can i use a PO box address in Kansas as a business address? TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in legaladvice

So if I understand a registered agent that could be a Kansas lawyer who is able send the correct paperwork back and forth?

[–] Free Waffle House for life, but you can't eat anything other than Waffle House. TheCopperDimes 1 points ago in WYTTD

I wouldn't do it. It wouldnt be worth it for me because it's pretty far from my house and I don't really like their food. Edit: just saw the served at home part. Still wouldn't do it.
