[–] Selling home after two years. Can you do FSBO then switch to realtor if that doesn't work out? TheGiraffeWithALong 1 points ago in RealEstate

https://photos.app.goo.gl/xaU57Nki8HfUnWGl2 I took a stab at taking pics today. I don't think they are bad and they would make me want to see the house but I may be biased. How do you think these do?

Do my own job and make more money... haha kind of hard to do when you are salary and get paid regardless of how many hours you work.

[–] "Fired" during performance review, but allowed to continue working? TheGiraffeWithALong 1 points ago in jobs

The only reason my friend is staying on is because he needs the money and if he left he wouldn't be able to get unemployment.

They said he wasn't being fired and it won't be on his history. Were they lying?

They told him he wasn't being fired during his meeting but that's definitely what it looks like. But yeah but if he was a bad employee or did something wrong wouldn't he be gone that day?

[–] Poll: Few voters report seeing bigger paychecks after tax changes TheGiraffeWithALong 2 points ago in politics

My husband seen a nearly 500 a month increase. I'm not sure how that's possible. My guess is we will owe a ton.

[–] Who has terrible battery after February update? TheGiraffeWithALong 2 points ago in GooglePixel

This is total bull. I'm sorry but Google has been sucking. Last update drained battery. This one also makes phone worse. But do a factory reset everyone says. Sure that's gonna help win over iPhone people.

[–] North Texas teacher dies after getting the flu; had delayed picking up Rx because she couldn't afford $116 copay TheGiraffeWithALong 1 points ago in politics

Yes I think a lot of young teachers live paycheck to paycheck. Average starting salary 36k. Put in student loan payment, food, car payment, house or rent payment, insurance etc there won't be much left.

If this doesn't make you mad or upset your not paying attention. The "greatest country" on Earth shouldn't have people dying because they can't afford their copays. There are two issues here. First off teachers are way under paid. Second health care/insurance/prescription drugs are way too high. Oh but just set up a GoFundMe. I think gofundmes are ridiculous to be honest. What's the different between that and universal healthcare. It's time for change.
