I liked SNL when they had original concepts and material.

Also this obviously is an unfinished development project. Can see it being very nice once complete but it’s apparent they haven’t gotten to the stage where they add greenery and other aesthetics.

IMO you’re incredibly sensitive to stupid things.

It’s just saying “popular with young women”. If you have an issue with the readers it’s popular with then I suggest you add in anyone who has written one of these books, many of whom are likely women as well.

[–] AITA for causing chaos in the office with my freakishly large deuce? Wewraw 1 points ago in AmItheAsshole

It’s not his fault that management of the company and the building failed to provide equipment to actually solve the problem for able bodied adults.

What was he supposed to do? Use his hands?

[–] Trump will be blamed for a global recession if he continues his trade war with China, says Boris Johnson Wewraw 1 points ago in worldnews

Recession after a large amount of growth isn’t a bad thing even if it goes back down to levels that were where the growth started.

Peter is supposed to be as smart as Tony but his personality is different and he keeps most of his tech to himself.

He’s supposed to depict a part time hero who struggles with his personal life as well as frequently being out of his league when facing threats.

[–] An open relationship is just an excuse to cheat without consequences Wewraw 1 points ago in unpopularopinion

The amount of mentally ill idiots who claim sex is one of the highest priorities in a long term relationships is pretty high and vocal.

It wasn’t him who made someone clean it up. It was his company who “made junior staff” do that.

It’s not something any employee should be forced to deal with period if they aren’t custodial staff.

Yes I’m aware that you don’t get it. Which is why it’s weird you want to chime in on it. But that’s reddit for you.

[–] Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker poster Wewraw 4 points ago in movies

30+ years of background content can’t all be home runs but that just begs the question of why they didn’t just pick the winners instead of just taking the original movies and adapting them to modern standards.

Which are apparently lower despite large budgets, technology and the backing of one of the largest media companies in the world.

[–] WIBTA for asking a bookstore to remove a sign that marks gay YA novels as "Fiction for teen girls"? Wewraw 0 points ago in AmItheAsshole

Again, not marketing. It’s labeling the items as items typically bought. Its as much marketing as math books are for students.

    That’s what you don’t get.

Yeah I’m gay too. I don’t see how this is an issue. Straight people get the same when they’re in a relationship. Same with lesbians. People being inappropriate around others doesn’t change just cause they read a gay teen romance novel.

That way of thinking is kind of stupid really.

You’re misunderstanding something important: It’s not them telling young girls to read those books, it’s young girls being the ones predominantly interested in those books in the first place.

it’s still promoting the fetishisation of gay men.

Yeah no. Lol. What? It’s the structure of the stories that is typically showcased that they’re interested in. Typically they deal with acceptance themes. That’s why a lot of girls like those stories.

The court is already stacked with republican picks. This would just be solidifying things.

None of this actually matters though since the SC itself is regarded as too powerful by the everyone when they’re just another branch of the government.

I had to listen to her talk once. She clearly doesn’t do much of the actual work anymore and leaves it to her aides.

[–] AITA for using credit cards for small purchases? Wewraw 1 points ago in AmItheAsshole

I’m 90% sure that if the item is below a certain threshold that it’s added together and charged when separately.

I remember reading about the threshold for it at least.

Haha poor countries pollute the most ? You lost me with that. USA are and continue to be biggest pollutters per capita. Go figure.

Yeah. And the US is a fully developed economy and those numbers include emissions from its productions abroad. It’s also the only large economy that really accurately uses metrics to measure their own emissions.

But poor countries have people literally burning cow feces for warmth. And just dumping things into rivers as they please. Do you know what the next step is? Cause China’s already planned out no less than 400 coal plants across Asia and Africa by 2040. They need energy and it has to be reliable.

All you said makes no sense.

    To you.

Is like saying let's not tax coal nor gas because people will get poor

Upset cause they can’t afford to warm their homes or drive anymore.

Guess what, is by taxing them there alternatives appear.

Legitimately the alternatives aren’t going to be as efficient as current resources for at least 50 years.

Maybe we actually need to just eat less meat

Ignoring that about 7 billion people don’t have the luxury of this choice. Again.

You sit in a western country proselytizing neoliberal western values while people in the world who have never even had electricity exist.
