And he heals for almost as much damage as you output if you let him recover for a little while... which you need to do to recover for yourself.

Meaning when you're ready for round 2 that fucker was just as ready.

So unless you were keeping on top of damaging him you basically had to know from the get go that Trolls traditionally are weak to fire and it hampers their healing. If you're not a nerd who's into D&D and stuff youd likely not know.

And then he hits like a truck and his double swing can seriously fuck you even with heavy armor on.

It really does. Those things really are the foundations and if you have a strong foundation you're more likely to succeed at higher endeavors.

Getting enough sleep, eating well, taking care of your body and hygiene and just generally treating your body like a well kept Temple tends to give you the energy and drive to do the other things that are not essential to life but can potentially be essential to your personal happiness and success.

Shoot, lots of things, some of which are hard to express. But I'll try.

I feel like music took on a whole new level of meaning to me personally and I still some times get a level of synesthesia when listening to music that really moves me.

Not everybody experiences synesthesia, specifically chromesthesia for me, on LSD but after I did I feel like I can almost "get back there" sometimes when I'm really feeling it, despite not having taken LSD in a good while. Some times it almost hits me like a familiar scent and I can almost literally 'see' the music.

Music in general just seems better and I feel like I have a much more emotional response to music overall.

I feel like I'm generally more empathetic and able to put myself into other people's shoes a lot more than I could before. I often feel more connected to the world and people than I did before and I feel like I'm able to ease off my anxiety or temper than I could before, like I'm able to almost relax more than I could before when I need to keep a cool head or just take a step back from a situation.

I feel more self aware, in some ways about the world but in a lot more ways about myself as a person and my place in the world and all the worries about who I am and where I should be and what I should be doing and where I fit into the world and even the universe in a lot of ways.

I also feel more at peace with life and death and the sheer scale of everything. Like it's just kinda gonna be okay. Even if it all ends up horrible and mutilated and awful as can be it's still just kinda gonna be okay.

The life changing experiences were all the thoughts I had in the myriad of ways but also the way I thought about things heavily impacted me after the fact. Like the connections your mind makes but your conscious mind doesn't perceive seems almost like it's less filtered if I wanted to focus more on it.

The auditory tactile synesthesia along with the chromesthesia I experienced along with whatever synesthesia it is where you can almost taste a word just made me feel like my senses going forward have been more... aware? Honed? Upgraded? I'm not talking like I got cyborg implants and am a God now or anything crazy like that.

It's more subtle, almost still subconscious but also on other levels now able to be accessed in a conscious way, even if I can't necessarily process all the information so quickly like you do while actually on LSD it's almost like certain doors of my mind and of my senses have been permanently flung open and although they aren't always sending shit through the passage I have access to them in ways I didn't before.

I dunno, when I write it out it kinda sounds like a bit hokey or contrived like some faux concept that doesn't really seem real but it's kind of just something you have to experience to really understand.

I'd say that's the case with all drugs and alcohol that you kind of don't know until you know but I feel like the effects of some drugs can be understood by people who've never done it and some of the things LSD seems to do to your brain really are hard to put into words in a way someone who hasn't done it could really understand or perceive.

And again, I know that sounds awfully manufactured and like I'm talking out of my ass a bit but thats really the best way I can describe it without sounding like I have become some psychic hippie with sixth and seventh senses or anything like that.

But here is one experience I had that really fucked with me (in a good way) after the fact. I felt like there was a literal third eye ripped open in my forehead, but the eye was vertical rather than horizontal and it looked something like this. Now don't ask me how it is I could see an eye on my forehead but I could see it as much as I could feel it. But it felt like the eye was pulsating (with my heart) and had cascading colors coming out from the center pulsating like a rainbow over and over again, kinda imagine like this but in like a cinemagraphs sort of way.

I felt like that eye was a window into everything I was experiencing, as if the eye was my psyche and it was being flooded with information and details I'd never noticed before. The eye didn't really "see" so much as it was like a conduit into all the things I didn't know I knew or could know.

    I dunno.

Ehh yes and no, mostly no.

Your first couple of times are almost always more intense than your later attempts, doses being equal across each adventure.

If you take LSD and then take it again in like a week you'll get much less of the 'effect'. If you wait three or four weeks instead you'll definitely "trip" much more than you would have if you did it only a week later.

But generally speaking the more regular you use it, the intensity will get lesser and lesser. The only real way to bypass this is to take a higher doses than you had previously but this also means you risk taking too much. Granted you probably wont take any amount of LSD (hopefully) that could actually cause any physical issues but if you take too much and end up stuck in a bad trip with intensity you weren't otherwise prepared for you're going to have a bad time and if you're not being responsible you could also become a danger to yourself.

Someone who does LSD twice a year taking the same dose as someone who does it every month is gonna likely trip harder and have a more intense experience than the guy doing it once a month.

That all also ignores the "life changing" aspects of the drug that the article is focusing on. Doing LSD your first couple of times and you have pretty life changing experiences.

Doing it the 50th or 100th time? Your brain has become more accustomed to the drug and you're likely not going to have a huge rewiring like you may have felt your first couple of times. You're already rewired.

You may explore certain ideas you hadn't in previous trips, but it just never quite is the same as it is the first several times.

Again YMMV but generally speaking the 'learning experience' along with the actual effects do tend to diminish over time. Eventually you're retreading the same paths rather than exploring new ones.

As I said, pretty certain that there are thousands of articles and pieces out there that tell you not to use LSD without even so much as suggesting there is anything beneficial about doing the drug.

So why aren't you up in arms about all the articles that only list negative effects?

You're just here as the Government spokesperson to tell us all LSD can potentially be harmful?

Thanks, I'm sure every single person here totally didn't have that shit drilled into their brain by D.A.R.E and the media and doctors and the Government and pharma companies and their parents and every religious leader over the past 100 years.

    Exactly.

Smaller groups can sort of self police.

The larger it grows the harder it is to contain the bad actors who ruin it for everyone without some level of organization from the people setting shit up.

Man, it must seriously suck to get two weeks or less vacation. I get three weeks of paid vacation every year and I'm an American.

Europeans get 4-6 weeks even for low skilled labor positions.

I'd definitely spend one of those vacation weeks at burning man or travelling without batting an eye.

I could also afford to take a week unpaid if I wanted but why do that?

Yeah I'm pretty sure decades of The War on Drugs has definitely done plenty of damage in terms of telling people about the "cons" of drug use.

We need to enlighten people about the benefits because years of propaganda has driven most drugs into the same category as fucking heroine in the mind of the average adult. Which is fucking absurd.

People should be educated about drug use.

There is no drug in the entire world that doesnt have at least some minor potential downside.

But the Governments of the world do NOT need your help demonizing drugs any further than they already are.

A lot of illegal drugs out there could save a lot more lives than they'd ruin if they were legalized.

And I'd say LSD is one of them.

Man I've only taken LSD twice. One tab both times. Both times were pretty life changing.

If your mind is like a budding flower LSD is like a huge blast of sun forcing the flower into bloom.

It does seem to be that the there are diminishing returns the more you take it and the level of frequency at which you take it.

Like doing LSD a few times over the course of a month and then doing it again a few days later will have diminishing returns.

I think doing it maybe once or twice a year at most is the way to go.

It should be a journey you take once in a blue moon. Rather than something that is in any way habitual like alcohol, cigarettes or pot.

[–] I've gained a lot of weight and my husband finally commented on it. Woody_Harryishson 1 points ago in TwoXChromosomes

    Oh man...

My wife is like you... except she has a full blown eating disorder, anorexia to be exact. She's actually a 10/10 slamming hottie, who consistently thinks she's just average on a good day and below average on a bad day.

She's long since kicked the more detrimental habits and is very healthy in regards to her body weight which took therapy, medication, and a lot of love.

But man the tiniest things can tank her confidence. And once her confidence is gone it doesn't matter how much logic or reasoning or appealing to emotion I put out there. She's hot as all hell but she honestly just doesn't see it and some times it really impacts our sex lives and her confidence levels. Sometimes it only lasts a few hours or a few days.

But once in a while she'll just go through a cycle of complete lack of confidence that goes on for a few weeks or even months.

Maybe she gained 5 pounds that I don't even notice. Suddenly ruins her entire week and she struggles to get back to "happy" or at least "okay" even if she loses those 5 pounds again.

I honestly would not care if she gained 20-40 pounds. And by the way she gets treated by other men when she's out and about I don't honestly think it would impact almost anyone's opinion of her.

But people with low self esteem about their bodies, eating disorder or not, are really not thinking about other people's opinions. What they really are doing is using their own personal opinion and projecting it on themselves, the world, and other people as pure unmitigated fact.

I could line up scores of good looking dudes to tell my wife she's a slamming hottie and if she was currently "down" about her body I doubt any number of people telling her she looks great would make a difference for her.

If you're a bigger gal, trust me when I say that being thin or fit is not a one way ticket to self confidence. It is for some people I'm sure but even skinny girls consistently worry about their bodies.

And if you're hating your body, for whatever the reason is not just in regards to weight.... then sex basically becomes a problem.

You gotta love the skin your in and have that be enough, or at least let someone else love the skin your in and let that be enough. Cause otherwise it doesn't matter if you lose those 10 extra pounds or run that extra mile, you'll probably still think it's not good enough.

Honestly I think you should just be worried about getting healthy, not about getting "hot".

but blaming officers for shooting someone with a deadly weapon in a risky situation just doesn't make sense.

Funny, cause I don't see many other 1st world countries struggling with their officers gunning down civilians left and right.

[–] Six California police officers fire shots at rapper asleep in car, killing him Woody_Harryishson 1 points ago in news

You sound extremely prejudiced and biased.

Assuming the black rapper was incompetent and "on something" which completely exonerates the officers in this situation? Pfft. Please.

Go fuck yourself with your bigotted baseless speculations you worthless ass.

If you don't think police officers are trigger happy murderers in this country then you are as naive as you are prejudiced.

Police officers in the U.S have shit tier training, most of them are very poorly trained in fire arm safety, de-escalation methods of policing, and the hiring pool for officers has a bar set so low that James Cameron would have to go deep sea diving to raise it.

American cops are nothing but ticket maids and gun-happy murderers. There is no standardization when it comes to policing, training, protocols, or corruption in the United States. Police in the U.S are a fucking embarassment to the human race.

Yeah I imagine it gets thoroughly covered there but in America we mainly focus on our war with Japan and nothing else.

We spend a lot of time going over why WWI was hugely important mainly because of it was a precursor to WWII, but then most of the focus is directly on the European theatre until suddenly "Bam!" Pearl Harbor. America enters the war on the European front.

We go to war with Japan in the pacific and the different strategies for island hopping get covered and then by then we're going into the end of the war with Germany, the Russian Winter, and the subsequent nuking of Japan.

From there the main focus really dials into the holocaust itself that happened during the war and then focus gets directly shifted onto Nuclear Warheads and everything to do with them and why they are dangerous and how they created a cold war with Russia.

So honestly from an America perspective it almost seems as if Japan just kinda entered the war part way through for shits and giggles cause "screw america" and then we retaliated and won.

[–] Redditors of Former Axis Powers: How is WWI and WWII taught? Woody_Harryishson 16 points ago in AskReddit

It's because unless you're asian or have roots in asian culture you've basically been giving the American/European side of the war.

Which really amounts to the European side of the war, Americas war with Japan, and the eventually failure of Germany to invade Russia and subsequent downfall.

The only real notice the asian element gets is the war between Japan and America.

The Pacific Theater is really only the bullet points of Pearl Harbor, island hopping through the Pacific to outwit the Japanese, followed by the Japanese losing ground and being asked to surrender.... and then they refused and got double nuked.

People really think Japan just popped in on the Americans and started bombing Pearl Harbor and since they never really impacted Europeans in any significant way their war against the other Asian countries and the USSR is basically downright ignored in WWII's history.

But in reality a lot of the reason Japan surrendered to America after both nukes went off was because the USSR was planning to invade and they were already stretched thin after expanding all over the Pacific and could not handle a war with America and the USSR while Germany was losing it's lead in the war.

Oh I actually got kind of lucky here. I got the PS4 glacier bundle and it came with the PS4 white, controller, free 3 months of PSN and the game. I did the math and figured that if I could make $20 back on the game I would basically still net the benefits of the bundle without actually having paid any real money for Destiny at all.

So jsut before the first DLC launched I sold it online for like $25.

My wife and I have done some hotwifing and swinging and I always fear this too but so far nobody but some of our closest friends know about our lifestyle.

Being young in our late 20's I am sometimes concerned if our careers/real lives will intersect with our "night lives" but so far we've only had one concern where we happen to run into a playmate at the beach but he was smart enough to play it off like we were old work friends or something.

We also don't post porn or post pictures online like you do.

I've got to say though, if you had some sort of private video section for a select group of viewers my wife and I would be signed up in a heartbeat, your body is bangin' and we love tracking your profile and sexcapades.

Don't know why anyone would want to out you for having some fun ;)!

[–] To the rescue! Woody_Harryishson 7 points ago in MURICA

I dunno, Japan had a pretty huge part in it.

Imagine Germany wins in the East.

Japan allies with the Germans, Russia is now in peace talks with the Nazi Regime.

The rest of Europe is basically decimated.

If the U.S dragged its feet on getting involved Germany could probably secure peace with a few of its enemies, namely the USSR, and solidify their allies in the far East.

At that point America has to act very quickly to stop the new axis from becoming a unified alliance.

If they didnt America likely would have skipped the war and gone straight to recognizing Germany as an equal world power.

The subsequent cold war would likely have been between the newly empowered Nazi regime and America.

I think if Japan hadnt gotten America off its ass that America would start making waves too late into the conflict which probably would have secured Germanys place in the world making it a lot harder for America to steamroll them in what would likely have been a much more drawn out WWII.

Seems to me this Judge was smart enough to know that although this girl didnt actually physically harm someone, she is at fault for this guys suicide.

Manipulating people to commit suicide is wrong and should be punishable.

If you dont agree with that sentiment then I think you might need some mental help.

TBH after the original launch of Destiny was anyone surprised?

They milked that game and its fan base for every scrap of DLC that they could.

By the end Destiny still wasnt even close to the game they originally promised.

First it was an utter shit stain.

Then it became a polished turd.

The marketing and PR department lied to fans from day one, all the way through to launch and beyond that.

Dont know why anyone expected Destiny 2 not to fucking rape peoples wallets like Molag Bal on holiday.
