[–] My thoughts on the Zizek-Peterson Debates berry-bleu 14 points ago in ChapoTrapHouse

net good, but yeah zizek was problematic and would have been good if he could have found another way to get JP to not talk about PC culture the whole time. i think zizek pulling JP supporters to his own audience is good, but he didn't really stand up for any sort of political movement except in an abstract sense opposing JP's "just do the right thing a lot" individuals-will-save-us thing. he probably could have done a bit more of that. overall eh i sort of regret paying any attention to it, and a lot of aspects of pc culture are good and not in conflict with the roughness that dirtbag left humor uses (exemplified pretty well in this sub but some here still say shit they probably shouldn't)

[–] Peterson literally sounds like a mid-tier libertarian shit poster on the internet berry-bleu 11 points ago in ChapoTrapHouse

to be fair there's about a 50/50 split of people suggesting either of those in this very subreddit
