[–] N/Me builds and hero builds? canesminior 1 points ago in GuildWars

I just started out N/Me because it seemed to be the best choice in Prophecies. I'm close to ascending in the story now but I will likely stay N/Me for another two weeks until I start Factions. So no particular reason, I never enjoyed Mesmer.

Do I do BMP at any time during the storyline? Or is there a best time to do it?

[–] Why does Anet make so many questionable design choices? canesminior 0 points ago in Guildwars2

Wow, good job ignoring the question. I like everything that is not on the list by the way.

[–] Why does Anet make so many questionable design choices? canesminior 1 points ago in Guildwars2

This is exactly my point. The majority of these comments are just saying I listed things I don't like while they tell me to quit the game because they like some of those things. These are all things many people don't like and I was commenting on them, because you like one of them does not make them good by fact.

I'm pretty sure they said they were not planning on changing anything about LWS1 IIRC?

I explained the warclaw in another comment up. It does so little damage to gates, only three can pull on gates at the same time, and the bleeding on engage skill was removed, which was really the only thing that did and significant damage.

The skyscale has a lot of flaws, but you are correct on the vertical fly limit I guess.

TP: You can buy or sell at a maximum of 250 at a time, it's very slow to open, buy and sell, and you can't "sell items too fast."

Bounties give little reward to do them, and most champion bounties that do not give collection items are never done. People who also want to do bounties are discouraged by the incredibly long wait time to gather a team if it doesn't give any good rewards. The bounties themselves work fine, that was not my issue.

I like this game despite it's flaws, but with every update made I get confused as to why they even decided to do such a thing. Just today WvW language restrictions were removed, for some reason.

Have a good weekend as well.

It is a very good game, I agree. I was merely commenting on some of the controversial design choices made, and why they were not easily patched once it was clear that they were more bad than good to the community. For example, the warclaw doing so little damage when pulling on gates, when it is one of it's main functions. A single good elementalist can do more damage than three warclaws pulling on the gate. This could have easily been patched with less than a line of code to make the warclaw's skill not useless, and probably entice more people to get the mount. Another thing is the warclaw's bleed when using the engage skill. This would also make more people want to get it. Another thing easily fixed is out of center armor and infusions on asura, which with 5 extra minutes spent designing them, would not look bad and would not discourage lots of people from ever getting them.

Other things are not so much easily patched, like the norn storyline. The story up until War Eternal was wrote so that it could be an end to the GW2 story if they wanted, and that they were not sure if they would continue the story after this point. So, let's say they decided to end the story here, the narrative team wrote this entire story while giving the norn barely any reason to exist in the story.

I don't even know half of those. Why are you assuming I'm level 80?

[–] Why does Anet make so many questionable design choices? canesminior 1 points ago in Guildwars2

I never said they were bad. It is just the truth that they are controversial, and it's clear that lots of people would not have liked them, thus making it questionable why they would waste time and effort in making them that way, or not fixing them.

Living World Season 1 not having any sort of proper recap and confusing all players after Personal Story.

The norn being given close to no attention in the story

The warclaw being useless for everything it's made to do other than faster movement than on foot.

Armor on asura and charr (clipping, out of center things, close to no attention paid to them) is self explanatory

    The skyscale's vertical fly limit

The trading post I guess it being so slow isn't a design choice

TP not letting you sell items in more than stacks of 250, not letting you "sell items too fast"

Bounties (self explanatory as even though they are one of the main forms of adding "replayability" to Elona, you see nobody doing them)

Changing old LA after Scarlet's attack to new LA
