it feels basic because you are seeing the finished product. Imagine someone had to create a parachute camera that spins and can make a complete picture by taking pictures at specific times during each spin, all while calculating all the info on the right and sending it home in as real as time can be giving the limited signal speed.

and this was all done by earth then planned and executed 8 years after it was launched.

While I resent his personal opinion I admire a politician that both has a differing personal view, respects the rule of law and can admit to both in the same sentence.

I have personal opinions that stand in stark contrast to my professional opinions. I think any person who respects individual freedoms feels that is fine, as is admitting to it. he could have lied and we would have accepted it but he didn't. if it doesn't demonstrate integrity it demonstrates someone who plays the game in a way I can get behind - even if the content isn't something I agree with.

That being said, I vote for ideas more than practice so i don't want to vote for him. But on the other hand I can't vote for Trudeau for the opposite reason - I can't support someone who sucks at the application of what were originally some pretty decent ideas.

Man I am lucky in that my wife works for the same company and starts later. she brings me my lunch at my desk every morning.

my coworkers have commented and I explained that since I always cook dinner (i finish earlier) she makes, packs and brings me lunch the next day. They were all surprised we work like a team but i mean...they are also all single so I guess it makes sense.

[–] 'We are being told that we're 2nd-class citizens': Sikh teacher says Quebec secularism law forced move to B.C. chapterpt 2 points ago in canada

Sikhism focuses on the idea that they are defends of the faithful - of any religion. and that they should defend any religious person of any religion who is persecuted by another person because they are of another religion. In effect, they predicate their cultural existence on the defense of religious pluralism.

But you can wear your religious symbol under your clothing. a Sikh man or a muslim woman cannot do that.

but your wedding ring - if you were married in a church - would be an overt religious symbol but I bet the government won't enforce the law that way which means there are second class citizens - those of foreign religions.

under your clothing. You can't show it off. so if it was worn over your shirt you'd be breaching the law.

But then again, your wedding ring (if you wear one) from when you were married in a Catholic church is also an overt religious symbol. The thing is, these laws are based on the principle that might makes right, so if enough of the preferred class of people have it already then they likely wouldn't enforce the law that way.

This government wants to be seen as populist by being undemocratic in their favor as per what they claim is a populist opinion. and maybe it is, but so will Montreal separation from quebec if the Caq get re-elected to another term.
