[–] Plague Tales: Innocence — Best game I’ve played in a while copypastepuke 3 points ago in pcgaming

I have rarely been moved by violence depicted in video games. Ive seen violence that is excessive, shocking, etc., but the violence in this game made my jaw drop.

[–] What are your favorite ship maps? copypastepuke 2 points ago in dndnext

/r/battlemaps is where you want to be. I love the famous kraken one, but if its primarily ship to ship I recommend having cool things like whirlpools you can place onto an existing map

[–] What's your LEAST favorite race to play as? copypastepuke 4 points ago in dndnext

I played a senile gnome that was convinced he was the world's first Dragognome, a sub race of gnome that was destined to be birthed into his true form if he died of old age on top of a pile of gold.

[–] How would you make this character? copypastepuke 2 points ago in 3d6

Warforged Ranger, probably a horizon walker.

I'd be more impressed if manipulating things in the 2d world had 3d consequences, changing the environment

From a gameplay perspective then it looks to be a pretty straightforward platform, but the game will certainly prove to be a great resume for the developer

Do you interact with the scenery in any way or is it just for a really beautiful and wonderful atmosphere?

[–] Say Something Nice About A Class You Hate, And Something Bad About A Class You Love. copypastepuke 2 points ago in dndnext

Cleric is coolest when you really lean into the relationship with the god, even if it is a bad relationship.
Monk needs some different bonus action options to feel more versatile.

That's fair. I was thinking of that first level Paladin spell that grants extra damage on top of hunter's mark, divine might I think?

[–] What information on the character sheet will always remain the same? copypastepuke 3 points ago in dndnext

I say print it out with as much filled in as you want, then make the changes and print it out again, or use the black out pen marks, little asterisks, whatever notations you need in the future, itll give your sheet and your character some... character.

With the variant class features ua, what is your ultimate throwing weapon build? If you do Paladin 3, and ranger 2, you get both dueling and thrown weapon fighting, which should add +3 to all damage rolls for thrown weapons.
