Please. Anyone who looks like a model can find non-fascist sources of income and should not expect people to assume they're unaffiliated if they're actively supporting fascist promotional efforts.

I'm not going to speculate on Pence's potential as a policymaker or president at all, but I will say this: the man knows how to shut the fuck up.

Uhhh... Hm. Let's stick to "he's new at this"!!

I know, he's been doing so much winning. I am shocked.

Someone commented and then deleted that a reverse image search revealed it was a tinder profile pic in Denmark. Maybe it's blocked bc of EU data privacy laws... But the author should really be using a pic of Americans if he's trying to make a point

Edit : but I would not advocate censoring models either... Literally getting paid to promote a hateful, shit ideology

Keyword "necessarily". Relative fucked-upness of the person is always a factor unless you are completely objectifying them. If you are, there's people who are into that sometimes or all the time. But that's not unquestionably fine and ok behavior. If it were, we wouldn't care about the consequences of objectification, i.e rampant and harmful sexism and discrimination.

Whether those women are right or not is a matter of opinion, and btw that is only a tiny portion of the policing that goes on. Vast majority is what I mentioned. You're inflating it to make a point, fine.

There's also the difference between a person who is sexist and a nazi. I know lots of sexist people, and while I personally wouldn't sleep with them because I'd rather wait to find someone who is not sexist, they are not all 100% morally repugnant. Nazism is an ideology that is mutually exclusive with any acceptable sense of morality in my opinion.

Thus the degree to which a person is fucked up matters. The vast majority women who say it's just about sex would still say it's fucked up to knowingly sleep with a serial rapist. What's the difference? The logic isn't actually consistent, it's dependent on relative nastiness of the person or ignorance.

So as I said, you can defend it, you can fuck Nazis and say it's just sex. I personally think it's horrible to ignore such a fundamental and repugnant part of another person, and even more so to fetischize it. If you have to, find a nice person and a fucking costume, for God's sake.

[–] We need to talk about the online radicalisation of young, white women cuddle-tits 1 points ago in politics

No, it's not like that. Men police women for how many people they slept with. What sex acts they've done. Those are not actually issues of morality, whereas this is. Ignoring the other person's human reality is fucked up in my opinion. Would you not care if it were someone who had actually shot hundreds or thousands of innocent people into a mass grave? Or do they get a pass because they never had the chance to, only wished theh had? Would it be fine because it's "just sex"?

Likewise, the difference between punching someone and fucking them is clear. One is an aggressive act of rejection, the other is an act of communion. And yes, it's an act of validation.

You can defend it, that's your right. Obviously we think differently.

[–] We need to talk about the online radicalisation of young, white women cuddle-tits 1 points ago in politics

They should not have censored the women's faces. Let's see all the fascists. You don't get a pass for being an "impressionable" young woman, just as you don't if you're a young man. Sexist myth based on the idea that women are less capable of making informed decisions.

[–] We need to talk about the online radicalisation of young, white women cuddle-tits 1 points ago in politics

No because I think of them as people, not some human sex toy with nazi insignia on their clothes. And like others who have actually experienced good sex before, I know that people are all kinds of different in bed, and that doesn't correspond to unrelated categories about them as a person. How would you feel about being around male Nazis? Some people have such revolting and hateful ideas that I would never let them get near me. I would fucking throw up. Sounds like they're just holes for you to put your thing in though. If you're capable of sexual objectification to the extent that you would sleep with someone that horrible, I hope I never have to be around you or anyone like you.

Wow... never mind that she's a fascist, the only thing that matters is that she's fuckable right? This comment is repulsive

Thanks for your excellent reply; that's a lot of interesting food for thought.

I see what you mean. I think it would be great if we could incentivize progressively responsible/educational careers working for the state in an IT capacity (whether military or not) but I agree that it would take decades to see the benefits of this. The money in the private sector will always be better and when there's less incentive to work for the glory of one's country, chances are slim anyone would do this for very long periods of time. Especially not that many of the most innovative and capable people, because in some jobs dealing with the red tape in the federal govt on a daily basis is truly a nightmare.

Working for the government as a civilian (the only part I'm familiar with) also just doesn't carry the prestige it used to. There are all sorts of attrition problems in agency management, unoccupied posts on the organizational charts (even predating Trump and the hiring freeze business). And of course the frustrated public servants below those levels that are just trying to do their jobs and run into road blocks and inefficiencies constantly. I'd guess based on your account that it's the same in the military. So what are you doing now if I may ask? Feel free to PM if you don't want to post further info for privacy's sake.

Edit: Are there lots of horror stories about contractors going broke from injuries and hospital bills and whatnot? It seems like nobody would do this without tons of insurance in place and contributions to a retirement package (from the contracted company).

I'm sorry, being bullied is truly awful and shouldn't happen to anyone. I think you and everyone else has a right to be and be an active part of society, including telling people they shouldn't be coal rolling whatever that is. Can you get law enforcement involved so maybe they can be ready to intervene the next time these brats show up in town?

You seemed to indicate that you couldn't be bothered to care about these laws or how people want to be spoken to gender-wise, so I was explaining how the laws are intended to work and that even if the issue has no direct impact on you, it's easy enough to support. I really don't believe citizens will allow a degradation of our moral fabric to the extent we saw in Nazi Germany. I mean look how outraged everyone is already... Trump supporters are in an ever-shrinking minority and I'm betting Bannon's "war from the outside" will just bite him in his stupid ass in the end. Anyhow I wish you and your family the best... sounds like you could use a break!

I'm glad you didn't secure the death insurance payout.

Were you provided housing, security, food, etc. by the private company you worked for? It's hard for me to understand how contractors could collectively be dirt cheap if the USG is paying for another company to deal with all of those arrangements instead of negotiating bigger service and housing contracts that would include accomodations for contractors. Could you dumb it down a bit further? I'm unfamiliar with the system beyond the theory/basics. Also I like your edit.

[–] Erik Prince’s terrible plan for Afghanistan cuddle-tits 7 points ago in politics

Hm. Yeah, there's supposedly $10B per year at stake. Even if it's not a complete privatization, I'm guessing this discussion is far from over and that they'll do some significant damage to the public infrastructure.

[–] Hacker conference proves how weak US voting machines really are cuddle-tits 3 points ago in politics

Alright then. I would like to point out that resources is not an issue when the president lives on 5th avenue and requires a multimillion dollar security clear even when he's not there, it's primarily a problem because the burden falls on the states and they usually don't have adequate financial means. I'm so disappointed in our country's elected officials for not ensuring that we have a fair and accurate voting system, especially for federal elections. It should be fundamentally sound... we're talking about one of the richest countries in the world, in 2017. If the political will were there to get it done, the resources would be too.

LOL, look at you go!! I wasn't trying to be funny... I was just being casually derogatory and you flipped your shit. I think it's pretty clear who's the 5-year old here. Get over yourself

[–] Hacker conference proves how weak US voting machines really are cuddle-tits 1 points ago in politics

Yeah, see, this "it really isn't a huge concern right now" attitude is what puzzles me. If the 2016 election was fraudulent, the whole WH team should be tossed out, including Pence. And then they should have a special election. Other countries have votes of no confidence and special elections all the time but Americans are so afraid of breaking with usual procedure. Another example is that the electoral college was supposed to be a stopgap against an unfit president and practically none of them voted against the popular vote in the state they represent.
