[–] What I think should be the Miami Grand Prix iridiumsodacan 1 points ago in RaceTrackDesigns

Definitely, and it would take modifying one bit of road to make it perfect

GTR2 has a user made version of the champ car layout. The current layout can be a lot better as there is plenty of space in the port to put some high speed turns.

I wish they ported the one in NFS Shift 2 to Assetto Corsa.

Shame they built a $630 million science museum. I remember driving through there in the 90's. Hell even in the mid 00's when all the junkies and homeless would hang out there

Pinneaple juice is a diuretic he's just gonna piss like a race horse. It doesn't change how body fluids taste, not right away.

It's only temporary, afterwards you're still alone and you're aware that biology tricked you.

Given the general health of the population it's not said enough, or at least not being heard enough.

Cook with more stable fats like butter or lard vs vegetable oil, or other light unstable oils. Part of the reason we feel like crap is because our bodies are crammed with peroxide generating free radicals. Anti oxidants are essential, as is having enough fiber and water in your diet.

[–] Suggestions for replacing stock shocks but keeping springs iridiumsodacan 0 points ago in S2000

Just to clarify you can buy front shock assembly with springs etc, but not the rear assy. Which is weird when you consider you can buy all the parts seperate.

[–] How to increase passing? Look at the Nurburgring, says Tilke iridiumsodacan 2 points ago in formula1

It's almost impossible to pass at Les Combes unless a driver makes a mistake coming out of La Source. Also all of sector 2 are mid speed corners save Pouhon. So on the longest sector of the track no one can follow. There are very few overtakes in Spa. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic circuit and with slower cars the racing is great. The bus stop is a horrible corner though.

He's right, chicanes at end of straights means no passing at all. 2 reasons passing doesn't happen, either there are too many mid speed aero dependant turns, or chicanes are placed at the end of straights. Of course a balance must be struck. If you have only low speed turns the circuit is boring, if you only have very high speed turns it becomes oval racing. Good tracks need a mixture of elements to be challenging and entertaining. On city tracks this is even more difficult due to the runoff area requirement at the end of straights. It's partly why he likes 90 degree turns as the run off is easy to design.

Miss your breaking zone and you go straight, imagine if turn 1 in Baku didn't have run off what would have happened to the Red Bull drivers?

It's motorsport so the choice is twice as hard, jk I love me some motorsport.

I like the fact you don't put chicanes at the end of straights.

The bridge is roughly 32 feet wide in each direction (the width of 5 f1 cars)and the barriers are already 4 feet tall. With 20 feet of catch fencing we would be ok, there can be tow trucks on standby at either end of the bridge, and we can have the coast guard or other aquatic rescue service on standby, should the impossible happen. I think that would do it. Frankly if there is an accident it'll be at the end of the bridge not in the middle, in which case there's ample run off area. For safety though there can only be one DRS zone, I mean they have DRS open on the left parabolic curve in Hockenheim so maybe 2 here will be ok.

[–] Idea for Miami track layout iridiumsodacan -1 points ago in formula1

I have 2 s2ks, and a 993 turbo, debating whether to get the new m2 competition. Have fun with your power wheels.

The parking lots are private, f1 needs run off at the end of every straight. This is why Tilke likes his 90 degree corners as it's easy to have run off. Also min circuit width is 12m. The path across Bayside would require ripping up the park and the amphitheatre and paving over it, no way the city would agree to that.

There are only 2 options, https://i.imgur.com/g3nSvuM.jpg this has all the requisite runoff and some fast challenging corners, the other option is entirely in the port closer to the far end, and have the track zip between the shipping containers. This layout gives you more design freedom.
