[–] Binging with Babish: Carol's Beet & Acorn Cookies (feat. Ashwin Enjoys Nature) jamaa1995 2 points ago in videos

Doughnut cookies, are you a genius or what?

Edit: I forgot that Beetroot was also in the recipe, a Beetroot and Doughnut cookie doesn't sound appetising.

[–] Melania Refused To Hold Trump's Hand By Slapping It Away On The Tarmac In Israel jamaa1995 2 points ago in PoliticalVideo

In his culture she would have earned 100 lashes for that move.

For refusing to hold her husband's hand?

    Interesting combination....I might try it.

Acorns are a bit hard to find in Australia, is there a suitable replacement?

[–] Woman Who Stabbed Her Boyfriend Has "Too Much Potential For Jail". jamaa1995 10 points ago * (lasted edited 4 days ago) in videos

this video is fully retarded. she's a surgeon not a thug.

What if it was a male surgeon/student, do you think he would've gotten off scot free?

it's not like she has a history of violence or comes from a violent background. people who think she should go to jail have no subtlety or nuance in their vocabulary.

I am an ordinary guy with no criminal record, but if I had done the unforgivable things she did to her bf....I would be in jail.

It has nothing to do with "subtlety" and "nuance".

Why is she allowed to escape her crimes?

[–] What are we missing in Australia? jamaa1995 5 points ago in australia

    more apartments and larger apartments.

Do you want medium density housing in suburbs to give way to more apartments, or do you want more choice in the CBD?

and a culture that doesnt consist of anti intellectualism

    Where are you from?

I'm from Melbourne and haven't really experienced that.

[–] What are we missing in Australia? jamaa1995 5 points ago in australia

    Apartments.

Do you mean rent control or just more apartments in general.

    Culture.

I'm intrigued, what type of culture do you want?

[–] Aldnoah.Zero is a disappointing series that squanders it's potential, but this scene still takes my breath away. jamaa1995 2 points ago in anime

I dunno if I should make a new post for this in /r/anime.

    You absolutely should.

However, I think you should port your video to streamable for easier access (I wasn't able to access your video for some reason).

Please send me the link when you create a post :)

[–] Why I Dropped Every Anime I Dropped (Pt.1) [Digibro] jamaa1995 5 points ago in anime

So I've watched a fair number of digi's videos and I enjoy some of his content but is there a YT personality that is similar but has almost opposite of his taste

    I don't know if I can answer your question, but here are a few that I like;

[–] Why I Dropped Every Anime I Dropped (Pt.1) [Digibro] jamaa1995 5 points ago in anime

    Yeah he doesn't get it.

I feel like Digibro often jumps the gun when it comes to his decision to drop an anime.

Obviously it's his opinion, but I've always felt that a show needs around three episodes to understand it's main premise fully.

One of my favourite anime of this season (Rokudenashi) had a horrible first episode. If I had stopped there, I would be missing a really fun show.

[–] Dear Ask Women, please share a time when you changed your opinion regarding a man? jamaa1995 2 points ago in AskWomen

That was a beautiful story /u/Girlwithasling - thanks for sharing

MSN messenger, now that's something I haven't heard about for a long time....the nostalgia.

And that's the kind of person I am now. I don't trust anyone, especially guys, and especially "nice guys" who claim to have so much respect for women.

I've been soul searching for a few years now.

I used to be the "nice guy".

I treated everyone with respect and had this bubbly and funny exterior I showed everyone. I would fall in love with every single woman who gave me an iota of attention....only to forget about them when we stopped contact.

It took me a long time to realise my actions were from my low self esteem and the feeling that I had nothing to offer anybody but my kindness.

I still fall into old habits, but I realise it comes off as disingenuous and it has mostly stopped.

I've had a lot of heartbreak in HS when genuine female friends would abandon their friendship with me due to suspicions of romantic feelings towards them and vice versa. Sadly, that pulled me further down the rabbit hole - drowning my sadness in food.

I'm not sure why I'm telling you this story, but I hope you trust again.
