I hope to become as strong as you. Thank you for taking this stance.

I’m sorry you have to feel like a ghost to escape this kind of behavior.

Do you have access to your supervisor’s calendar? If so, I would book a meeting with them, put 1-on-1 as the description, and then try to talk to them in person about it. That way, no matter what, you will get a chance to meet with them.

Can we please not use “gay” in this context? I don’t think that your beer has a sexual orientation.

I made cranberry ravioli once, and it was incredible! Fresh pasta filled with spiced fresh cranberries, boiled like normal, then served in brown butter.

I went to culinary school for Baking and Pastry, so people generally assume I’ve used some super fancy recipe. The brownies served at my wedding? Betty Crocker mix, follow the instructions. Perfection.

Instead of asking if the other person liked something, I ask “should I make this again? What should I change for next time?” That way they don’t have to feel like they’re criticizing me, and I get honest feedback. I try to ask while we’re eating, too, so it isn’t the last thing we talk about at the dinner table,

Are you hiring? I can’t snap, but I could challenge people to a dance-off.

[–] Due to survivorship bias, we only hear about the success stories of people who’ve “risked it all” to achieve their goals. What’s your story of how you did the same, but failed? jeweledshadow 19 points ago in AskReddit

I have a similar story, and it is a terrible feeling to have a doctor tell you that the only cause for your injuries was all the times you “pushed through it.” Instantly, the attitude that made you successful is turned against you. If you ever need someone to talk to who has been there, feel free to reach out.

I remember watching episodes of the new MLP before work because it would keep me smiling all day long. The episode where Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack try to find out if they’re related, which led to a pony living in a house full of cats was a perfect example. Seeing a cheetah amongst house cats in a home owned by a pony made me laugh and is an image I still smile at.

I also remember the day I watched the first episode where the charm disappeared. Thank you for the smiles- I’m sorry executives got in the way.
